I want to thank all of you for getting myself and the puppies I am transporting safely to the auto shop!I am from Indiana so I had nobody close to call when my van blew the heater core and antifreeze came into the van and scalded me they did not waste a minute getting to me as I was sitting on the side of the highway! The driver went above and beyond, He made sure to ask if I was ok from the hot antifreeze, thank god I only have minor burns.Very caring, Super friendly, fast service, you can not go wrong here!Again Thank you!

Though a stressful experience to be stranded on the side of the road w/ a toddler, Roberto & the Whiteys Towing reps made my experience better by offering excellent customer service, timely service and doing exactly what they said they would do. I called several towing services in the Washington area. Many did not answer the phone, though listed as 24/7, and another service (which I will not name here), made it very clear that I was interrupting his Sunday football. Thank You Whiteys Towing!

Never a good feeling when your car breaks down. I was on interstate 70 and called many tow companies and whiteys was the only one who could come tow my car and they actually picked the phone up unlike others!

My experience with Whitey Towing was exceptional. From the time I called to have my car towed to the time I received my car in Morgantown, the process was smooth and painless. Contacted Whiteys dispatch in need of a tow, they said 20 minutes, flatbed pulled up in 10. Driver was very courteous & friendly, striking up a conversation as soon as he got out of his truck. Having to be towed isnt the greatest experience to start out a day but the service made the situation much less stressful. My wife and I appreciate it!

I was in a hurry and accidentally locked my keys in my car I called them and they can right over. The tow truck driver was really nice and quick. My window was down enough that all he did was put the slim jim thru the window.

Below is my entry into the AAA Roadside Assistance Feedback Form which details an experience that was extremely frustrating and bordered on being a danger to both myself and my health:On the night of 9/18/2018 I was left stranded for over almost four hours by your contracted towing company Whitey’s Towing. On my initial call at 7:30PM I was told of an expected wait time of fifty minutes. I called back 55 minutes later (8:25PM) to inquire about the whereabouts of the driver and was told the driver was 20 minutes away. I called back another 52 minutes later (9:22PM) to inquire about the whereabouts of the driver and to also inform the dispatch operator that the event I was attending would be letting out soon and there would be roughly fifteen hundred cars moving about the parking lot. The operator then put me on hold, and when she came back on, she told me the driver was about ten to twenty minutes away and was aware of the event situation. I called back another 40 minutes later (10:02PM) to inquire about the whereabouts of the driver and was told the driver was now an hour away. How was I to believe this??!! I had now waited over two and a half hours, been told on three different occasions that the driver was on his way, and now I was being asked to wait another hour. I was now minutes away from being in a dark parking lot in the middle of nowhere. I recently had knee surgery and now I had to walk about a mile to get to a safe lighted area. Again, I ask; how was I to trust that this driver was evening coming. He was obviously taking other service calls and making AAA customers a last priority. I was told by the operator that I could cancel, and that AAA would reimburse me for using an outside company.I have since come to find out that this is a common occurrence for Whitey’s Towing based on several online reviews from AAA customers. I would think that I am not the first to make you aware of this. I have been a AAA member for over 23 years and its unfortunate that I am now researching alternatives because of your affiliation with contractors who continue to alienate your customers and show zero regard for their well-being. How you would continue to partner with this contractor is beyond me.

My car broke down and I needed a tow, about 150 miles to home. Our driver, Kenny W, was really great! It sure made the long haul home a pleasant one for me and my granddaughter. I hope to not ever again need a tow out of Washington, but If I do, I will definitely be using Whiteys.

Fast and Friendly service. My car wouldnt start and I was stranded at the edge of their town in the middle of my road trip. They arrived in less than 20 minutes and towed my vehicle to the nearest auto repair shop.

Driver completely unprofessional and rude. He raised his voice with me when asked for a better explanation as to why he couldnt tow my vehicle (he had the wrong hook, he couldve easily said that) when I called the manager, he promised he would take care of it when he got back to down, but that was also a let down. Wont be referring this company to anyone.

Stay away from this tow company. I have never been treated so poorly by a dispatcher before.My car breaks down in Canonsburg today and I called AAA. They contacted this company to tow me. I was initially told 4 pm then I was told 4:15. I called Whitey’s company at 4:30 to get an ETA and I was told I could have a truck in 30 minutes. When I told him I’ve been waiting since 2:30 for his company through AAA he started yelling at me telling me to call AAA. He became very angry because I caught him in total BS business practices. If I was a private pay and he could charge me privately I would get quick service. Because I was a AAA member I would have to wait at least another hour. When I asked if the dispatcher could call the driver for an update he said “no, call AAA”. Apparently private tows are more important than a AAA tow that’s on a major highway and that’s been waiting for several hours. Are these the approved business practices of AAA?UpdateMy husband rented a car transport from the Uhall nearby and AAA is reimbursing us for our expenses. AAA has been wonderful to work with.Whitey’s Towing decided to private message me to tell me this was all AAA’s fault due to mismanagement at their call center. They also stated that calls received from customers NOT through AAA are their priority. My tow was clearly moved to the bottom of the pile when a new tow came in. AAA is investigating this and I’ll post another update when available.

If you use AAA dont bother waiting on Whiteys towing. I called AAA at 11 AM to tow my Audi from Washington to Morgantown. I called repeatedly over an 8 hour time span and was told it would be 45 minutes longer every time if they answered me at all.Once my car was brought home at 10:50 PM (nearly 12 hours later) the driver proceeds to inform me they used the wrong tow hook and dropped my Audi which rolled into their building causing roughly $2,300 worth of damage. When I got upset the driver had the audacity to tell me I should calm down even though he had a 45 minute drive worth of time to tell me up front he damaged my car but instead waited until he showed up at my house 12 hours after my initial call to AAA to tell me in person. I was already upset I waited 12 hours for my car, imagine my frustration when I get it back in poor condition.For nearly 2 months I requested a letter asking them to promise to pay for the damage and was either treated rudely and told I dont know what youre talking about or given false promises of a letter or call back which never happened. Thankfully they did pay for repairs but the entire process was a nightmare. Save yourself the hassle and REFUSE Whiteys towing when AAA offers their service because they probably wont show up anyways and youll be left stranded and frustrated.

Dead battery. Same as other reviews that were bad. I am an AAA member and was told 40 mins. Waited a total of almost 1.5 hrs. Still a no show. Called and cancelled. Totally disgusted. AAA needs to dump this company. Had to rely on other help! Im upset I had to give it 1 star. It should be minus 1000! Nothing like being stranded and getting no help! Totally disgusted!
