Our car was stolen and when it was recovered it was taken to Carlyle. I cannot say enough good things about the man who let us in to see our car. He was very very kind and he truly did everything he could to make it not such a hard day.

As a moving company, you would expect these people driving the semi’s, too drive safely. Well one of your semis made a right turn while cars were still passing through, we were the closest one, and we were just an inch away of getting hit by your semi. Look into your drivers being more careful. You risked ours and others life’s.

We are a Military Family and these guys did phenomenal job! Very professional family! They were on time and on point and fast. They asked us what House hold good we wanted packed and how. If we had any concerns they fixed it or answered right away. Now getting to our destination they made it even easier they put our furniture and took the empty boxes of what my husband and I unpacked while they were moving everything in. They definitely changed my perspective on moving because this was the most easy and definitely less stressful move I have ever done. Trust me being military we move A LOT! Thank you guys soooooo much!

I had an accident and the tow truck driver was so hateful to me. Luckily my dad was on his way, and then he continued to fight with my dad. Not only was he very unprofessional in the way that he spoke to us in a very stressful time, but he also did additional damage to my car!! While loading my car onto his flat bed truck, he didn’t want to center it, and ended up popping the tire and damaging the wheel! I will be sure to never recommend this company!!!

My husband and I were skeptic about the reviews but WOW they did a fantastic job! Eric, Paul, and Alex were great! They took their time to carefully pack and move our belongings. We didnt have anything broken or missing. Minor scratches but nothing major, which is normal with moving. Awesome team! Highly recommend!

Charles was our driver for our cross country move. He EXCEEDED expectations. Our stuff was delivered within THREE days from pickup which is AMAZING! We move frequently and typically we dont see our stuff for weeks. Charles had wonderful customer service skills, careful loading and unloading, quick delivery and made sure we were happy with everything before we left. I want every move I do to have Charles as the driver.

Avoid this company at all costs and simply DO YOUR RESEARCH on them. Check Google and Facebook! This company allegedly has a track record for disrespecting its military members and their families, stealing, and not taking accountability of their actions. No apology for destroying my coffee table and putting HOLES in my floors, only strange antics by their marketing person, who is extremely unethical, which represents Carlyle Van Lines as such. This is a warning to everyone especially military families, please find anyone else to help you with your move! Please do your research as there are several horror stories online about this company! I wish I would have done my research before allowing them anywhere near my home!

It makes me sad that this company doesnt have a five star review but I guess it depends on the driver. I can say, If your driver is Rufus, you can count on this man to not just be on time, but early. This man is professional, thorough, kind, and he knows what hes doing AND hes got your back!!! When somebody can you in the eyes and tell you theyve got you, you know you can trust them! OUr packing company was a disaster and he took it upon himself to call and make sure that things got done! He called the day before and told us what time he would be there and arrived 15 minutes early . Rufus then got my home across the country in record time just as he promised. He was there the day before he said he would be there! And again arrived 15 min early the day we unloaded. He was in direct in communication with me which is rare when it comes to a driver. A lot of people just want to do the basics of their job these days, Rufus went over and above for us and he didnt Have to. You can tell, thats just how he operates. He was so nice, if you can request a driver this is the man you want moving your things! Hes great and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! Thank you Rufus, if you ever read this! You TRULY are the BEST!!!!

I just wanted to take the time to thank Don Whitworth and Joseph (local help from the warehouse in Monterey) for being extremely professional in my move. Prior to loading all my items to the truck they walked me through the process and what to expect. In the past 5 PCS moves that I have had, they were extremely professional and helpful to answer all my questions. Some have bad experiences while moving and some do not. All I can say is that this being my last PCS move (hopefully) I am glad that they were the ones assisting my family and myself with the move. Thank you Don & Joseph for your professionalism and help.

Great movers. John Battle is the best mover I have ever seen. I wouldnt be surprised if he were the best of all time. That man deserves a raise.

I cannot warn people enough to stay away from Carlyle movers. During my 14 years in the Navy, I’ve moved across country 4 times and across the world once. I volunteered to help a friend of mine by being his designated agent for his household goods and direct the move (unforeseen circumstances prevented him from being present). Carlyle’s driver, Darnell, was the worst, rudest, most aggressive, despicable mover it has been my misfortune to ever deal with. Darnell would not take direction and became angry when I wanted to verify odd things he was telling me. I’ve never needed to get in a shouting match with someone, and I was ultimately threatened several times. He stopped the move without putting any of the furniture together or take away the boxes as he was contracted to do. Ultimately, he tried to grab all the inventory information, which was less than 100% accounted for, and leave. When I would not let him take the material, he accused me of assault, threatened to fight me, and called the police on me. It was only due to that police intervention was I able to get the mattresses they left outside into the house. The experience with Carlyle was a nightmare. If you are military and find yourself stuck with Carlyle, insist the contract be given to someone else. If you are civilian, it would be easier and more pleasant to move yourself. I will post this on as many websites as I can. I mean, the cops had to come to, for crying out loud.

Thought our move was going to take 2 days but it ended up only taking one. They were quick, thorough, and friendly.

Six moves later, this was the worst move Ive been through. Thos company managed to deliver our items with thousands of dollars worth of damages and lost an entire large suitcase, not to mention items that we could not take with us that were highly irreplaceable. I will never use them again and I highly suggest the same. It was a shame, because the movers at our original location were very friendly. The unpackers however were not professional and left broken items partially assembled all throughout the house and left. Great way to treat service members.

I am military and have moved four times. So far Carlyle is the worst company. They damaged all of my nice furniture in this last move, nothing was properly wrapped leading to numerous cracks, scratches and gouges. They also lost three boxes, and broke numerous other items during transit. Total of damaged, broken, and lost items is in the high thousands. Will do everything in my power to never use them again for another move. J & R Transportation LLC moved us the last time and were amazing in the care they took to move our items.

Theyre very courteous to truck drivers who live in the area they allow you to get a parking permit to park in the open lot if you live in Warrensburg very helpful when youre in over-the-road driver to be able to park really close to your home

This moving company is terrible. Unfortuntately the military continues to use them. They lost the entire box that contained all of our fine china. The custoner servoce rep whos first name is Kimberly sends us emails about how urgent it is to accomplish tasks and to let her know that things ate done. We complete those tasks and send the response email but then get ghosted for weeks woth no confirmation that she is doing her part despite sending several follow up emails. PLEASE STOP USING THIS COMPANY TO MOVE MILITARY FAMILIES!!

DO NOT USE. Broke items, lost items, showed up late, delivered late. Rude workers, drivers had no control over their team of workers. Made excuses, blamed their headquarters for showing up late. When I asked them to be quiet at 9 pm because my 18 month old daughter going to sleep, they gave attitude and didnt change. Left trash and tools at the house and had to return with goods that were shipped somewhere else.

They steal. A military move from Pensacola FL. Really shady people. Do not use them. Stole shoes and other basic items, they also stole a babys piggie bank that wasnt going to be packed. 300 dollars in coins.

7 moves in 14 years, this company is by far the most dispacable company I have dealt with. The first delivery was on 15 July, at that time the driver told me he only had part of my household goods and I should expect the rest of my items by 17 July, I never heard from the company so I called. At that time the move coordinator was uncertain. I called back the following week, was told I would receive a call back with an update. The return phone call never came, I called 26 hours later and was informed that the rest of my items would arrive the second week of August, one month after the first half of my shipment. Furthermore, the company was under contract to deliver my items no later than 27 July. If you are looking to move avoid using this company!!

I have not done business with this company but today I saw one of their trucks not only hold up traffic but destroy someone’s car and drive off like nothing happened this is unethical and unprofessional and I’m disgusted!!!

Rude, late, unorganized, and unreasonable claims.Arrived late, packed longer than they said it would take. Arrived with goods after they said they would. Unpacked longer than they said they would. Dumped boxes on ground, including folded clothes and office supplies. Broke items, lost items. Over 1,000 in damage/loss. Fought over the amount and took the word of an un-named agent who found empty boxes that never made it to my house.

Worst moving company do not use them. They broke about 5 items in my move, 6 months later I’m still trying to get paid for it. My $600 bed frame was broke in the move and I had sent pictures in of it and a picture of proof of price and 6 months later they are asking for the same info again. Never use a company like this who will not take responsibility for their actions.
