This place is an absolute joke. First, as far as aesthetics go, the home is filthy. The bedrooms are small and crowded with some rooms having three beds to a room. There is no furniture in the living areas and looks more like a crack-house/homeless shelter. Second, as far as staff goes, they have treated my brother, who suffers from schizophrenia, as if he is a pain to deal with. There is one person working for a 20 person facility. Being there are no planned activities, I am sure he does become a nuisance at times, but it is there job to serve the people who are paying to be served. They have been extremely rude to my mother who is his advocate in times of situations such as providing him with a better pillow than the 1/2 inch thick piece of cotton they gave to him. Also, my brother walked four miles from Mooreview in 40 degree weather because the staff member Ms. War thought he called her a cuss word instead of using her last name. She told him to leave and wouldnt let him back in. Now they are refusing to give him back his prorated rent not used for the month. Lastly, when I walked through this home my heart was broken for the people who Mooreview is supposed to be serving; these residents are paying $700+ to live in a run-down facility most of whom do not have an advocate like my brother does.
A great place to rest your mental disorders.
