We have an older fireplace and removed our glass insert many years ago. I never thought I would find one that fit when we went to replace it recently to keep the grandkids out of it. I ordered the piece of ceramic glass that I needed and it came super fast. Ordered glass doors that matched my fireplace model. Received quickly but everything was misaligned & diagonal... (glass over hanging and every other part was skewed so nothing would fit). I took everything apart and realigned each piece which took better part of an hour. Happy with the product now...Unhappy with how it was received for the cost I paid...

Product came in as expected - only reason Im rating 4 instead of 5 is lack of directions or information inside the package. I ordered glass retainer clips and the item came inside of a small envelope inside of another small envelope. It took some digging around on youtube to find an instructional video...I went back to the order page and for whatever reason the link was not working to view the video. I think what would be helpful is to include some type of paper or receipt in the packaging - something with a link or QR code that directs you to instructions on how to install.Thank you for getting these to me quickly.

I bought the 4 Tube Spitfire Fireplace Heater With Blower Unit, and I love it! I use it in conjunction with my furnace and I am tracking last years gas bill with this years. So far it looks like I am saving on my gas bill. I recommend it to anyone, but I do have a complaint. The flexible hose they send with it is very short, and also very fragile. after less than a few weeks of use, I am struggling to find a replacement hose. I payed over $600 for this, so I feel that CJs could be more generous with blower hose, because they have to know that the hose they send with the package is inadequate. They should send a Roll of hose with your purchase so that you can cut it to your needs, and make replacement hose more available.

Dana is AWESOME! I knew I wanted to put a door on the fireplace to help regulate the temperature in the house but the fireplace was not fitting nicely into a category that I could search for the windows, I decided to call and see if I could get some guidance. I spoke to Dana about my situation and sent in a multiple photos and she was able to guide me to the correct product and helped with the sizing since my fireplace is unconventional. Got the door, the install was easy and it fit perfectly.

Website was easy to navigate, They had the proper sizes that I needed for my fireplaces, The price was great compared to other sites and the product shipped very quickly! Looking forward to receiving and installing product to freshen up my fireplaces.

My wife and I had our fireplace hearth and facing redone. We needed new fireplace doors. We ordered fireplace doors from one of the online box stores. As soon as we received it and I opened it, I knew it wouldnt fit. Turns out, the online box stores give a range of opening their units will fit, but these dont always apply. My lentil was the upper edge of the opening. The doors are sized to allow overlap, but since my lentil was the top opening, no overlap was possible. I couldnt return it, so I sold it online to someone in my neighborhood for half of what I paid for it. I then called a fireplace company that specialized in all things fireplace. They quoted me $1600 for a custom fireplace door. No way! I called another company, and it seems this is the going price for having a custom fireplace door installed. I went online and found Fireplace Doors Online. I noticed the doors were less than half the cost of someone else installing it. The brands were the same offered by the local fireplace company. A very nice lady (Dana) had me send lots of pictures of my fireplace and the dimensions. A few weeks later it arrived. It took me about 30 minutes to install it. It was a piece of cake. To think I was going to pay another company another $800 to install something that is so easy to install. We love it!

I recently ordered a Custom Fireplace Surround and am so happy with it! I made a mistake in entering the dimensions and they personally called and remedied the situation that evening! The surround is beautiful and my client is thrilled! I will purchase again!

Door fit perfectly but I couldnt help but feel I paid twice as much as I should have based on similar items. I only needed replacement glass doors. But they were hard to find and by the time I found this place I was literally 3wks into it and tired of searching soo $$$$.

Stay away from this company. This company is a complete fraud. They DO NOT make custom fireplace doors! They take your money, fabricate whatever is convenient for them and ignore any custom measurements. I spent time asking good questions well in advance of ordering a door. I specifically asked if they add or deduct any amounts to the exact measurements for fit. I was told NO - they do not. They told me that they custom build the door to the exact measurements. Down to a sixteenth of an inch. Nothing that their representative told me when I specifically asked and nothing on their website states that they CUSTOM build the door to any other measurement, other than the measurements you submit any pay for. I submitted measurements for our door to a sixteenth of an inch.I believe they sent me someone elses door and not my door. They threw a door in a box without checking to verify any measurements, or any quality control. If they took a minute to do this they would have know it was not my door and should not have been shipped to me. They sent me a door that was 1/4 smaller (on all sides) compared to the measurements I submitted. The confirmation email and payment invoice prove it. I also sent them detailed pics of me zoomed in on the ruler proving the measurements. It is simply the wrong size door. They declined to send me a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrectly fabricated door. I have not unwrapped or attempted to install the door. It is all in its original packaging. The only response is a falsified response on this review and a resolution where they want more money from me to make it right. I should not be responsible to pay a penny more that the nearly $1,000 we have already paid them. I have even offered to personally return the door, since the company is within driving distance from my home. They declined to accept even that. They seem to only be interested in the money, and extorting more money from us. Its a shakedown for more money.They have not heard the last from us. We are not letting them get away with taking our money and not providing us with the door we ordered. We are reasonable people and we want to resolve this. It may take some time but sooner or later they will be put in a position to own up to their mistake and do the right thing.Another warning about this company: When you see on this review, a response from the owner in reality the owners, either Chris or Judy is hiding under a desk somewhere ignoring this problem. They hire incompetent services reps to insulate themselves from their mistakes.

I am so glad that I found this company. I have an older fire place with sliding door glass panels. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole covered area in order to replace the glass. But luckily Fireplace Doors had exactly what I needed. I worked online with their website and hand in hand with them and making sure I could get the correct measurements. However, when I received the glass it was bowed and I called them up and spoke with a lady by the name of Dana. I explained the concern of the glass and sent in pictures, even though pictures are so hard to take to show this . Dana was more than helpful in assisting me with ordering a new piece and also making some adjustments to the measurements and the cut. I was super excited to receive the new glass and installing it to the panel was a perfect fit and matches current glass panel. Thanks for all your help with this project, I will definitely use this company for future glass projects.

Ordering of our fireplace doors was straight forward and the FP Doors sales staff was very helpful. Our order was delivered to our home in Canada and FP Doors handled the logistics until the product crossed the boarder, but also followed-up when the delivery wasnt made quickly. The doors fit perfectly and look fantastic. Overall it was a very good experience.

Ordered fireplace grate and doors in October. Told them I needed it before thanksgiving and was assured that there was no problem. Called a few weeks later to confirm shipping and was told that it would ship on Nov. 13 and only take a day or two to reach me. On Nov. 14 we got a call saying that the items would not ship as expected. I called them back to get the status a few days later. I was told that the doors were on their way to them and everything would ship in a couple of days. I asked if the doors could be shipped directly to me from the manufacturer and that they send the grate right away. I was told that they had to check and would get back to me the same day. This scenario has played out multiple times. I call and they promise to get back to me, but they dont. I even spoke to one person that said that they cant make any decisions because the owners are on vacation in Switzerland and they have to approve everything. Today Nov. 27 I called again. I was told everything is on a pallet and ready to ship. They would not commit as to when it would actually ship, but they would let me know when it does. With this kind of customer service, I cant wait to see the problems with the actual products, if they ever arrive.11/30/2018The products arrive Thursday (11/29/2018)just like they said they would. That made me think that there was hope I would be able to finish the project. As I attempted to assemble the blower unit and grate, i found that parts were missing. In addition, the fan assembly was flopping inside its housing resulting in damage to one of the connector, and chips in the protective paint. To top it all off, the blower bar was 10 longer than it should have been. I emailed pictures of the damaged parts.I called them just before noon in the hopes that they would send the missing parts that afternoon. I told them that I could fix the connector myself. I was told I would get a call in the afternoon to let me know the status as the owners were still in Switzerland and they would have to contact them. When I expressed that I was concerned, since no calls war returned previously, i was met with I promise i will call you back this afternoon. Well, I didnt get a call back so I called back the following day (Friday) to find out the status. Well, they had no answers. I am pretty handy and have lots of equipment and tools, so i suggested that i may be able to work something out as far as the missing parts. by this time it is approaching 5:00PM so I asked the Customer Service rep. to let me see what I can do and call her back in 5 minutes. I could tell that she was eager to leave so I begged her not to leave, just give me 5 minutes. Of course when I called 5 minutes later they were all gone. So they have delayed me by weeks but cant spare 5 minutes.So now I have to wait until Monday to tell them what I need and see what excuse they will come up with. I wonder if the owners will still be in Switzerland. Stay tuned!

I discovered that returning my merchandise was almost impossible with this online store. You have to be pre-approved for a return by filling out a form that includes 13 rules that you agree to, one by one. One rule says you will be charged up to 50% restocking fee and pay shipping charges, both ways. Another rule says you can’t write on the box. What? Another rule says you have to upload a picture of the box when it’s ready to be returned. Haha. Customer harassment at its best. I emailed and called customer service to enquire about the return, with no response. I persisted and finally reached someone. She told me I couldn’t return my fireplace door gasket (which I could immediately see was too thin for my use and didn’t even take it out of the box) because it was “custom cut” to 14’. What a joke. I gave up. They win. I do not recommend this store.

Their new site is really cool! They went well beyond the call of duty to make sure my insert would fit the strange hearth in my home. Couple weeks later, here we are...looks great installed.

I suggest everyone purchase elsewhere since they are in-between you and the vendor they order for you. I regret that I purchased on this site. The reviews on their website must be their own since I was not able to leave one there. If you look on yelp and google, you will find the true reviews. If you do still purchase from them make sure you ask for the full detail of the product since it is very vague on their website. Note they have a no return policy even if they make the mistake.
