This place is very fast and professional, I had my alternater and headlight done and they did an awesome job .The owners were super friendly and they honored my warranty quick and efficiently..if you live in Detroit or surrounding areas I highly recommend you utilize their services, hopefully I wont need any repairs anytime soon but If ever this is exactly where ill go and I suggest you do the same

I got recommended to this place by a couple of my coworkers a couple years ago and I decided to use them since all I could say is I always had a good experience here and I always finished my car in a timely fashion!

There a scam they tell you to sign up for the credit program which youll be paying extra because of interest just to fix extra stuff when you dont need it. They tried to charge me $2600 for something I told them I didnt need. Then told me $1750 when I asked to fix what I wanted just to be able to drive home.I went to another shop and they charged me $570 to fix the exact same thing.Cals auto is a joke for this

Brought my car in Due to suspension and Quarter panel repair after an auto accident. Not only did my car come out perfect, but it was returned to me in a timely fashion. The staff was very helpful and provided me with complimentary towing which saved me some money and Sam was very nice and provided me with a discount and my car drives like brand new. Would definitely recommend for any auto and collision repair! They also provide warranty on the repair which made me confident in fixing my car here. 10/10

Poor Service, tried to take advantage of customers during the holiday season with overpriced parts and labor. Brought my car in the shop for issues with Driver side window. I told them it could possibly be the window motor/or regulator, they checked my car without mentioning any fees. So, after they so called gave my car a diagnostic test, they told me I needed the window switch and Motor with a quote of $484 for parts and labor. I knew that was too high, so I asked for a breakdown in parts versus the labor. Turns out they used dealership prices, I found the parts $60 cheaper, and called around for a better price in Labor. After getting a second opinion, I never needed the motor/or regulator. Wasted money on that part, and when I asked for my keys, they charged me $50 without telling me this price from the start. Guy at the front desk told me they dont have to tell customers that, because its in the long service agreement with no fine print. Shady Business, will never go back or recommend anyone to go there.

Can’t say enough how pleased I was with the service! The price they gave me was unbeatable and the staff was welcoming, even offered me a ride home almost 5 miles away. Got the back brakes done. Cals employees are very professional and informative. They go above and beyond to make sure our questions are answered. Would 100% recommend to anyone who needs their auto repaired at a reasonable rate.

I got both front lower control arms replaced a few months ago, and had to go back due to a scraping noise. My brake dust shields werent placed back on correctly, but that didnt completely fix the noise. I recently had my car inspected by someone else and one of my control arms were loose, causing my right front wheel to continuously misalign, causing flat spots on my new tires. In fact, the mechanic couldnt even determine if the lower control arm had factually been replaced recently due to rust showing and the condition that it was in.

Sam and Dave are very polite, very professional. I got an all wheel alignment this week and my car is driving perfect now. He was so professional that I decided today to come back. The mechanic’s take their time on your car and they tell you exactly what you need and prices are very reasonable! Probably the best auto shop I’ve been to definitely highly recommended! Not to mention whatever you need you can get it done here one stop shop.

Cals Auto is the best Auto Repair Shop in the city if not the world. Their alignment tech is phenomenal he does it all CAMBER, CASTER, TOE whatever your issue is he gets your vehicle at OEM spec it’s truly amazing. This place is horrible. I took my car they supposely fixed my sensor on my tired which i didnt care it was on they said it would be $55 but they charge me $60 well they said the light will go off in 10 minutes well its over 10 weeks not off now they telling me it dosent matter its on, after telling me to pay to get it offThen i ask how much to get my door fox, one tell me 350 come back the man said 550. Then i ask about my brakes he said they were good when the other guy said they terrible which i know because they going to the floor. I dont because im a female or what.

Cal was the worst place l ever been they kill me they didnt bleed my brakes on purpose they allowed me to leave without out the concern for my life they wanted more money for a job they created everything about this place was bad they mad me wait all day then they told me my car wasnt ready so l left on the bus l got at 9am l didnt get my car until 5pm.

DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ARE RIP OFFS. Charged $100 for a fix and I took it back because it wasn’t working. They told me it was nothing they could do for me. Wish I could make more email account just to make their review go down to a zero. Then their card machine has been down for the longest but they conveniently have an ATM inside their store..... what a coincidence. If I were you this is the LAST PLACE I’D GO.

Let me start off by saying these guys are true professionals! I had got into a car accident 2 days prior to going to them. They came and towed my car with no problem and fixed my car in no time! They are really good, hardworking and friendly guys! They even have financing available. I appreciate them so much for helping me in my time of need! This place is definitely recommended! I went up there for an A/C recharge and everything they said 90 bucks. Which was on the pricey side but I said okay. Before they worked on it, I told them I wasn’t sure if there was a leak in there. Then they recharged it and it worked. I left went to the store and on my way home realized my A/C was blowing hot air again. I head back to this place and they tell me “Well we can’t do anything for that it’s a gas, we’ll have to check to see the leak points and just charge you for that.” Like why didn’t you do this before you put the coolant in there if I told you I didn’t know if there was a leak or not. Now i got 90 less dollars in my account and nothing to show for it. Terrible experience. Wish I could put zero stars.

Cal and his staff are very knowledgeable about vehicles. Cal always take time to explain what you need for your car. Dave is very knowledgeable as well, they are honest and replicable mechanics. No problems and great customer service by front desk staff. Feel confident taking your vehicle to this team.

Dishonest people and scammers, I worked for them as a tow truck driver and I always parked my car at the same spot in there parking lot . And while I was at work driving there tow truck someone accidentally hit my car . Once I got back to the shop and addressed the issue . They claimed that they will pay for repair or pay me to fix it . But never followed through . They did me dirty . Never do business with them again . Cal said he will pay for it but never did . LIARS . DISRESPECTFUL AND DISHONEST. NOT RECOMMEND IN MY BOOKS . AND THEN CAL HAS THE NURVE TO CALL ME AND THREATEN ME TO TAKE MY COMMENT DOWN OR HE WILL DRAG ME THE COURT SYSTEM .

Cals is a shady place they over charge for everything and its always something else wrong with your car afterwards. I will recommend them to anyone!!

Nice people respectful clean and lovable

They put a power steering pump on and charged me $450 and it only took them 40mins. Just for me to drive off the lot and still fight with my steering wheel. Drove home couldn’t turn in the driveway so I struggled to take it back up there, when I get there they say it went bad, but it just got put on. Went to pick it up the second time it was fine but found out they used (used part) on my vehicle. It’s a year later and I have to replace it again. Thanks Cal for the inconvenience ( Sad)

I’ve been going here for years but recently Cal (the owner) has gotten ridiculous with his prices. He’ll give you one place over the phone than call you back to tell you there’s a bunch of other unnecessary things you will need done also. He wanted 3,000 to replace an engine and I called about 7 other local shops who charged a whole $1000 less than him. Another time I spent over $1700 on two vehicles and he told me the best he could do for an oil change is $50. Are you serious?! He couldn’t knocked off 10 bucks after spending all that money with him and referring friends to his shop. He’s lost my service for good.

Not only have I enjoyed my car getting fixed fast (usually in 1 day) but I also shared with my friends about this place. One of friends had his car fixed in one day! The prices were on clue as far as the other places I checked. They will tow you in for free as long as they do the work.Even the construction in front of their place does not stop me from getting what I needed done by them.This morning the man behind the desk was in a tank top and had opened early so I was able to get done quick and get home to sleep.
