Awesome work. Done on time and exactly how I wanted. Communication was excellent throughout the process and prices were competitive and fair. Will call back for any and all flooring work in the future. Turned the carpet in my gym (and bedroom and hallway) into beautiful hardwood.

Tao does good work and looks out for his customers. Other contractors I hired independently of him in overlapping fields have heard of him by his reputation, and he has his respect and admiration of his peers.He redid our old flooring, replaced carpet with new flooring, and replaced laminate with hardwood.Folks who stop by - especially folks who knew how things used to look, generally now say wow, those are nice floors. They really pop out and make the room look much nicer.Ive recommended Tao to my friends and family who need flooring, and say hes earned this 5 star review.

About 3 years ago we bought a house that had half wall to wall carpet. The other half was 20 year old Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring that had significant scratching. Taozen removed old carpeting, installed matching Brazilian Cherry flooring and refinished existing hardwood floor. The job, 3 years later, is still flawless. I continue to be impressed on how they matched the flooring. We have a very high energy dog and the floors look as new today as when they were installed.I will certainly use Taozen again in the future. THE BEST. Tao and his team are professional to work with, and do an INCREDIBLE job. We had them refinish the floors in our new home (literally every sq ft!), and the floors are gleaming and gorgeous. They had to patch a few sections, and the patch is totally seamless. We also had them install new hardwood (as a replacement for carpet). Of these three jobs, all of them were spectacularly done. The team worked hard, and the job was completed on-time and on-budget. On top of it all, Tao is the nicest person to work with - a guy with a big heart (he accelerated our job to accommodate the move of our piano). I cannot say enough good things. I normally wouldnt wax lyrical about a floor installation / refinishing company, but Taozen deserves the glowing review. 10 stars. Phenomenal.

Tao and his team do AMAZING work. Tao was extremely helpful in the beginning of our process as we did not know what type of flooring to choose or what we could afford. He talked us through all the benefits and risks with each selection and we settled on hardwood floors for a GREAT price. We had known our existing floor and sub-floor had some leveling issues, but Tao and his team were able to address this easily and now we have one solid level throughout the entire first floor instead of slopes and soft spots. The installation process was extremely easy - 2 days and everything was left spotlessly clean. The finished product is pristine and exactly what we were looking for. I would HIGHLY recommend Tao and his team for any flooring needs you have - you will not be disappointed!

I contacted Tao about my floor in my brand new condo. I had already torn up the rugs and a grand crack was revealed. Ugh! Tao came to rescue and fixed my floors without a problem. My new floating floors are wonderful without that floating feeling. My floors are sturdy with wood topping and are made to last. Tao delivers Real Quality work.

I picked to work with Taozen based on the reviews I read and everything lived up to expectations. Taozen did an excellent job refinishing our pine floors in an old condo in Somerville. Tao replied promptly to my inquiry and came by the following day to discuss options. He was professional and gave honest recommendations and fair prices. We chose to refinish the floors and we were not disappointed. We left keys for Tao and his team, evacuated for 5 days, and came back to a clean condo and beautifully refinished floors. His team even came back within hours of me contacting him to smooth out a section I was particular about. He is very professional and I highly recommend Tao.

Met these guys years ago. I Needed a very basic estimate for an Ugly home I was about to list for sale so that I could best put a fare as-is value on it. I gave the owner the scoop and he was very helpful in providing a cost range for removal and redoing the flooring. I like vendors that I can call on when in a bind.
