AAA was having trouble getting a service to tow my car 70 miles from Massachusetts to Maine. Pro-Tech stepped up and got the job done. Truck Operator was very pleasant and professional. Would definitely use in the future. First class service.

After spending 3 hours waiting in NH on another tow service through AAA a pro tech driver pulled up to drop off a different car. After explaining my situation the driver called his boss and told me to call back AAA and chance my tow to them. After going back and forth with multiple phone calls the tech was extremely patient, taking, and making multiple phone calls to help me out. He was a pleasure to work with a great help to me in my time of need. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

About two months ago, my windshield wiper had somehow fallen off while I was driving. As the snow continued to fall, and my windows began fogging up, I knew I couldnt make it home.I pulled over and looked online to see if any auto parts shops were opened, but it was already past the time they closed.I saw Mark from ProTech Towing on the other side of the road. I asked him if he knew anything about switching wiper blades from one side to the other.He got out of the tow truck and took a look at my wipers and was able to switch the other blade to the drivers side, so I could manage to get safely home. I felt so grateful that he took the time to look out and offer his help, and that simple act of kindness has remained with me a long time.

I went to an appointment and came out and couldnt start my car, so I called AAA. First AAA sent a battery guy who determined that it was my starter, not the battery, so I called again for a tow. I was 30 miles away from home and wanted my car to be towed to an auto shop in my town. Pro-Tech Towing and Recovery arrived before the ETA that AAA had given me. Kyle, the tow truck operator, first tried to start my car, but was unable to, so he towed my car to my mechanic and then drove me home, a few blocks farther. As soon as I got home, I realized that I had left my house key (which was on a different ring than my car key) and couldnt get into my house. (I couldnt walk back because I have a problem with my foot.) By this time, it was beginning to get dark and the auto shop was closed. I told Kyle not to worry and that Id call a friend and go back for my key when the auto shop opened in the morning. He drove away, but came back about 10 minutes later with my house key, UNASKED. This turned out to be a lifesaver for me because my neighbors were away and I didnt have many local friends numbers on my phone, which by this time didnt have much charge left anyway. I was never so impressed in my life! This was by far the best towing experience of my life! Highly recommended.

I was sent this company for a roadside assist for a jump start. The guy who came to jump start my car did not know what he was doing and put the ground cable in the wrong spot in my car causing sparks and destroying my radio that is still not fixed. After the jump start, the sensors and gas gauge were not working and it took over two months to reset itself after even going to a repair shop. I have been trying to get it fixed through my insurance but the guy who came is trying to deny any wrong doing and is trying to claim I touched his equipment during the jump start even though I was sitting in the car the entire time.

My car was dead so I called AAA to have someone come and replace the battery, and unfortunately for me and my cars engine, Pro Tech arrived. First, the man spent about 15 minutes driving aimlessly around my apt complex until I had to walk him to my car. He popped the hood, charged up the battery. I asked him if the battery was ok or not, and he was unable to put a coherent sentence together. Then he got a wrench from his truck and proceeded to drop said wrench into my engine. I was idly standing by and didnt notice this was why he was frantically searching around my engine for 5 minutes. Once I realized what happened, I asked if he had a back up wrench, and he said he only had one wrench. I had to go retrieve a wrench of my own at this point. My wrench was too big and didnt work either. At this point, I asked him if he could go back to the shop and bring back a new wrench. he said its his own wrench, and he angrily told me the wrench cost $20 (not true), and hed have to buy one on Monday in Natick. Then I told him that he was liable for damages due to the wrench stuck in my engine, and asked if he was affiliated with AAA (his truck had AAA decals on it), and he didnt understand what the word affiliated meant and said he didnt care, and that all engines have lots of things in them. They do - its called an engine, not foreign objects. He then stated that he was losing money and that he didnt care if my cars battery could get fixed tonight or being held liable for any engine damage he caused. I asked for his name and number, at which point he ran back into his truck and drove away. Now not only is my cars battery still dead but I also have a wrench in my engine, potentially damaging it.

Aaa dispatched this God awful company. To service me. The driver was on the opposite side. The dispatcher is extremely rude!!! I have filed a written complaint with AAA they should not do business with this company. They are horrible and they come off horrible from the first point of contact. I would NEVER let them touch my vehicle

Dispatched by AAA. Sent a driver who was unable to figure out how to resolve the issue. The driver put me on his cellphone with his dispatcher, who wanted to send a second driver & charge me. Dispatcher was extremely rude & belligerent. When I indicated I would not pay for a 2nd driver they abandoned me on the side of the road.

They never actually fixed the car but I appreciated their honestly. They had to push the car on their lot, and they hooked up the computer, but the code required the dealer to fix. They had a great attitude and didnt charge anything. Very helpful and k knowledgeable. Dealt with Bill and he was great.

I locked my keys in the car & called Kevin. I never met him but he came shortly after I called. It was under 5 minutes when I had the keys in my hand. I really appreciate his service!

I was skeptical of using this place after reading the reviews, but the auto repair shop I was using recommended them to me and I was desperate to get my car fixed. I actually had a great experience with Pro Tech! The guy who came to tow my car arrived within a few minutes of the ETA, and was polite and accommodating. No complaints.

I would Never use their horrible service again and it has been my worst service experience ever. My car got broken down in the parking lot and I have been told they would arrive 1.5 hours later. I forgot to bring my wallet with me and did not want to bother the driver to send me home after the rescue arrive because I need to come with him to the car dealer although the police officer said the driver should not have problem in doing it for the matter of 1.5 miles drive. I decided to walk home not to giving any unnecessay burden to the driver since there are plenty of time giving and it took me an hour walking in total. Right after I got home the driver called and told me he arrived 40 minutes early. I explained the situation to him and see if he can drive 5 minutes to pick up me. He refused but told me that I should not leave the car and had to call taxi service to arrive 10 minutes. I could not find any car service at that quick. When I arrive 15 minutes later. No one was there and the driver did not answer the calls. I called the office and asked where is the driver. The man told me the driver left and I should not leave the car and used F*** multiple and other dirty words many times.I asked for the boss with no response but hand up my call and told me they will not service me at all...

Best tow Ive had. Got a flat tire and called AAA for a tow. They sent out this company and it was everything I needed. They were on time as set for, the man was so kind and friendly, he did a great job. I am so glad I has his and the companies help when I needed it.

Ripoffs is one way to put it. AAA should revoke their license with them.They charged me $125 to use a jack, calling it “special tools”.Two stars instead one cause the driver smiled at least.

Worst towing company ever, very deceptive! I waited for them from 6pm to 9:45pm in the cold. They kept on saying they are on their way give them 45min, it turned to additional 3hrs. Don’t even waist your time on them. Well, if they are the only towing company left on the planet, you may call them, but go take a nap 😴 for 4hrs and come back. You may still have to wait for additional 1hr before they appear. It was my auto insurance company (Metlife), that called them. But I ended up calling another towing company which arrived in less than 20 minutes. It’s 10:20pm, and I’m now going home. I don’t recommend this towing company!

My insurance was going through this tow company to tow my car. I called to get an update about where my car is, man who picked up was rude and hung up. Called back again and told me he can’t hear me and hung up . Called back again and finally told me the pickup was canceled and he hung up again. I called my insurance and they informed that it was never canceled, they call the guy while I’m in the phone and they treated the agent the same way. That is a very nasty attitude to have and extremely poor customer service. I hope they have a New Year, New me motto . I couldn’t give 0 stars .

Last night December 2 around 9 pm, I walked in with a flat tire. Offered to pay them just to on my Spare. The guy behind the counter inside the shop wanted to charge me the tow price knowing that all I needed was for them to change my tire and replace lit with the spare. No towing at all was needed. Just four nuts off the flat and four nuts to put on the spare. As a regular customer buying gas, food, drinks or scratch tickets, they lost more than the towing price. They operate in a heartless, rude way. Snow storm at that. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I love this place. In addition to the full serve gas, we also get our cars inspected here. They are friendly and very fast. Sometimes they even go beyond the inspection and give us pointers on things that will need attention soon. Lastly, one time we locked our keys in our car. The tow driver got to us in less than 30 minutes and had the door open in less than 10. And he was gracious the whole time.

I would like to thank Hugo who towed my car and helped with excellent advise as I am 80 years old and this was my first experience with a blow out- on 128 no less. Thanks, Hugo!

Ive been a tow driver for a bit over 10 years at my old home in CA so not for this company and not in this region. I know the business side of things well though. I went to pick up my wife and son from logan for a midnight flight from sf. When much unwanted steam and that sweet smell of coolant filled the air, Id had some sort of cooling system failure. I called AAA and was told my hope of getting back to Maine 92 miles away was dismal at best in any reasonable time frame. I thankfully got my wife and son taken care of but I knew I was in for a wait. I figured 1230 on a Tuesday, well now Wednesday I may be home before dawn. If I recall Juan was his name pulled up in about an hour. (I was originally told two maybe more) he greeted me with a hello and a hand shake as I did when I drove. Being on the other end of outstanding customer service is a great feeling. He loaded up my vehicle effectively, safely and efficiently. I cant say enough good things about your driver and my experience with your company. What ever your doing dont loose this guy and keep up the good work. Thank you for being the hero when I needed it. Awesome job.

Wish I could give 0 stars,Had a guy from this company tow my car yesterday due to it being flooded by water, guy gets there and asks me “what should I do”... thats your job to know, guy was unprepared didn’t want to tow the car because he didn’t want to get wet.Had the audacity to ask me to jump on the flatbed of the truck to go hook up my own car. That’s not my job, long story short he didn’t tow my car and just sat in the parking lot on his phone for about an hour after.Would never in 1000 years refer this company to anyone, worse customer service I’ve seen in a really long time.

I was heading to i-95 while the car suddenly kept reporting brake system having problem which made it extremely scary. Luckily, my car is under warranty and offered complimentary roadside assistance. And i received towing service from Pro-tech. The towing truck arrived within an hour which is quite efficient considering I am almost 16 miles away. And the towing truck driver is a super great and helpful guy. He explained everything including fees clearly about this towing service.

These bastards had the nerve enough to tow my vehicle out of a Handicapped Parking spot at Garden Crest Apartments. The Handicapped Placard was in plain sight. They insisted that I pay the $150 to get my car back even after I paid the money claiming that I could talk to the owner. Their gas station is convenient because its 24 Hours. But the gas is probably cheap gas and priced competitively above average price. Their towing guys are vultures for Gardencrest looking for cars to tow evenings and overnight.

Dont get your inspection sticker here. I fixed everything they asked me to and then he found a new reason to fail me!

Nothing better than getting an ETA for a towing ... Let me add a little back story.. called got an eta using my insurance they sent an eta and called me to confirm the times. 15 minutes past scheduled time... called because i have go get my son from school and cant leave the vehicle unattended...they took the bid with an eta of 75 minutes which would have allowed me to leave on time and get my child from school.. they took bid sent an eta but they had decided they would pick up my vehicle that night! 6 hours later... FYI they told no one!! i called them and the insurance. They are filing a report to remove them as a business associate. I have USAA insurance one of the nicest companies around !! way to treat your community! If, giving less than 1 star was possible i would have!!!

Dont use this company. I had asked my insurance for a tow and wanted it after 8.15. Yes. Complications of life events ..dropping young kid off to school, where I live, traffic etc. Insurance told them that they need to be there after 8.15. Guy calls me and says he will be there 1/2 hour earlier. I said I cant be there and asked why he is early. He was rude..and told me to cancel the service...and hung up !! Nice customer sensitivity and service....business like these need to understand that they at serving customers and these minor details are important. The more we give them our business..it empowers them to behave like this.

Horrible!!! Audi roadside assistance called them around 2 PM and they promised to tow us at 3 PM. Somebody came 2 hours late around 5 PM. I have a feeling that they want to make sure that our dealership is close so they can store it over night at their lot so they can charge Audi more. They promised to drop our car at the dealership the next morning but it took a call from us to remind them that they need to drop it off. They promised 20 minutes but it took them another hour or so to do it. When asked why they didnt do it earlier they rudely said, you cant ask me that, Im busy! We told Audi that they need to investigate them!

I got a sticker service OK

After waiting for 3 hours (1:30 - 4:30 PM) the ramp truck driver FINALLY showed up. I am a fully trained competent auto technician. I had MORE than enough time to figure out what was wrong with MY vehicle. The driver asked me what the problem was and I began to explain. He walked away from me as I was speaking. I was attempting to explain why I did not want anything except the tow my insurance had hired them for. I understand its probably a common thing for him to troubleshoot the issue however in this case even putting the key in the ignition was likely to cause more damage to my tempermental TIPM!!! None the less he walked over to my vehicle sat in the drivers seat and DEMANDED the keys. I AGAIN told him no. He stormed off like an angry toddler got into his truck and sped off. Then he reported he was unable to locate the vehicle to the insurance company.UnprofessionalRudeArrogantUseless

Outstanding service

My son’s truck was towed early this morning by this company after calling AAA. Per my son’s account of the ride home, the driver was driving recklessly and all over the road. After having brought the truck back to our house, as the driver left, he hit my truck in our driveway after attempts to catch the driver’s attention before he hit it. The man took off down the street in hopes I’m sure that no one knew he hit the truck. My son’s friend attempted to get his attention to tell him he hit my truck and finally caught up with the man down the bottom of our street. The man got out of his truck and ran over to take a look at the damaged rear driver’s quarter and said “oh, I’m sorry” and then took off in a hurry without giving my son the time to give him any further information, then drove off. A call was then placed back to AAA to report the incident. I personally called the office at Pro Tech towing this morning and dealt with a very rude person named Saber on the phone who told me to call back later. I can only imagine how the rest of this scenario will play out. Be sure to not accept a tow from this company, as the employees are not behaving in a professional manner whatsoever.

This is the most rude company I have ever had to deal with do not use them. They told me they picked up my truck around 2:30 and at 4:30 no one told me where my truck is - the dealer said it did not arrive yet- called them again they said it was on rte we were going to get notified when it got there- again no one called 6:20PM I called the the guy asked me for an address of pick up- I said exit 52 off of 495 on rte110 by the mobile station- he said I need an address- asked how many dually trucks they pick up off of exit 52 he hung up. Coldest day trouble with truck and instead of helpful - extremely rude

In a sticky situation, if you are expecting to receive help, do not choose them. They are extremely rude. Go with CRJ Roadside Service.Mazda roadside assistance sent them to tow my car. I would give them negative ratings if I could. It was snowing, so I was not with my stranded car. They arrived 30 minutes before the ETA (which was sent to me via text and an automated call), called me once to inquire where I was. I was on call with my car company so I could not pick up. So they just left, without bothering to call me again or leave me a voicemail. And when I called them at the time they were supposed to show up, the guy said it was my fault that I wasn’t there, and accused me of calling him a liar and cut the call. I asked Mazda to send another company and they sent CRJ Roadside who were really nice and helpful. I usually don’t write reviews but, I do want to warn others about their so called ‘service’.

If youre looking for a fast, reliable towing service with good customer service youre not looking at pro tech. Complete waste of money and time. Strongly recommend not using, youll thank me later.

Worst experience ever! Avoid avoid avoid. First arranged service at approximately 4pm. Multiple calls resulted in no-show after no-show. Never even called to tell me they wouldnt be coming at 1030pm. Next day- same story! They just take new jobs ahead of you to con your insurance company. Rude dispatchers. The one driver I talked to personally was great, but not able to assist due to dispatcher control.

Im there 2x a week, any lines move quickly, friendly staff and they clean your windows while your gas is pumping.

Was assigned pro tech from my Liberty Mutual roadside assistance. The driver showed up right on time (literally to the minute) and quickly changed my tire. Good service.

Put a 100 dollar hold on my card for 3 days for 10 dollats worth of gas. Really? Id really like to give this place zero stars but you have to leave at least one.

Arrived few minutes earlier than the ETA and driver was very fast and friendly.

Broke down in an intersection. Roadside assistance through my insurance called Pro Tech and then quoted me an hour and a half. Pro Tech showed up within ten minutes and had me loaded up and out of the way. Driver (whose name I didnt catch, Im sorry) was professional and nice.

Unprofessional is being kind. My boyfriend called them very upset when he got in the accident and the owner, I can only presume when we went to retrieve items from the car said VERY sarcastically and with a smirk drive carefully and laughed! They also hung up on us twice while trying to ask a simple question. Last but not least charged $790 for a tow and for the car to sit in an unsecured parking spot for two days!!!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! Rip off artists running a shady business in my opinion!

2011 Hyundai Sonata suddently died as I was pulling into a parking spot. Heard what sounded like an electrical pop. As a result had no electrical output. With groceries in trunk and key fob did not realize there was key access to trunk. In seven years had never used the key fob for this. So first Rte 2 advised me that I did have key access and was able to get groceries out of trunk. As what was likely cause of problem - first response was battery. Seemed unlikely since new battery less than 12 months old. Rte2 quickly checked with mechanic and quickly called back with probable diagnosedalternator. This meant needed tow. I was instructed to call Hyundai Roadside assistance, a service I had never used. Hyundai assigned tow company called back immediately and was at car in less than 60 minutes. Pro Tech Towing operator decided to try a battery charge just in case battery. Moved positive cable and lights came on and no tow necessary. Kutos to Pro Tech Towing and their excellent operator. Having spent some time checking out cable connection today it seems cable bolt is the source of the problem. A simple hardware store cable bolt replacement today should eliminate any future problems. Cant thank Rte 2 Hyundai, Hyundai Roadside and Pro Tech Towing for making a difficult situation easier and providing a speedy solution. Thank you all for going above and beyond to help.

I was booked with this horrible company by my warranty and was highly disappointed with their service. The rep was extremely unprofessional. I was hung up on and threatened to have my service canceled after awaiting over my ETA of 120 mins. I would not give a dime to this company if I was paying out of pocket luckily I will be reimbursed through my warranty company. Do stay away from this company!

Very bad experience. Waited around 20-25 minutes in the morning (before going to work) for an inspection sticker and was told that the printer is not working. The whole process hardly takes 10 mins. Could have easily told us that there is a problem and cannot be done today. Waste of time!

This place was referred to me by Good Sams club, and they are terrible. They were supposed to be here at 1:45 but they sent me an ETA of 2:30 and did not show up until 3:00. Meanwhile I had a 2:00pm appointment with my mechanic. To make matters worse, when I called to check the status, they were incredibly rude to me, and then put me on hold endlessly.Personally I would NEVER deal with this company again if I could help it.

Very unpleasant experience with Pro Tech. My roadside assistance was given a 70-minute ETA by the dispatcher. At 80 minutes I called Pro Tech and was told that the estimate had been 90 minutes and he wouldnt have taken the job otherwise. The dispatcher failed to tell the driver my exact location and apparently expected me to chase him down on the other side of the mall. I approached the driver and in my frustration, I did address him more rudely than I should have. I apologized. Then he drove off, leaving me stranded.

It kills me that have we more time to complain as apposed to find something good to say!I was with a dead alternator for three days and that was frustrating being a home health aide going from client to client to client at night.Matt was compassionate of my situation, got me a mechanic shop and worked with them for the drop off. Open 24 hrs. Gas, food, coffee, cigarettes for those who smoke, gum, candy, says for those who dont... Decent staff, especially Sebastian Wed-Thurs overnights. However, the Overnight Towing Dispatcher? Hes got some serious mental health issues. I wish I were joking but as a 4th year Psychology Major (4.0gpa), I call it like I see it, and undoubtedly I see Maladaptive Behaviors... Odd, unusual behaviors that a clinician weeks find deeply troubling...That said, go, if you need the above listed items between 11pm-6am... They have it. Simple. Just avoid the creepy Overnight Tow Guy. If however you do see him, tell him... Stop being so creepy... Its likely the reason you are relegated to Overnights in the 1st place. Just sayin...

Stay away from these people and this company. Bad news. Bad bad news. Paid for the service over the phone with my debit, the guy shows up and leaves without completing the service. I call the company to complain, they hang up. Stay away! Youve been warned.

I have had this shop sent for me by my roadside assistance company twice now. I will never allow them to be sent for me again.The first time, I left work early, to wait nearly two hours for them to NEVER SHOW UP.This last time, they were 40 minutes late, lied about when they received the call, and DAMAGED MY VEHICLE.

Bad attitude and not reliable. Couldnt understand why Audi Road Assistance partners with this unprofessional company. They hung up on me 4 times because I waited in the garage for hours and just wanted to know updated ETA.

Awful, just had the worst experience with this company. The driver brought a flatbed truck that would not fit into the garage, so he insisted on trying to jump start my battery, even though I told him two other people had tried to jump it. The battery was not the issue, it is a brand new car (100 miles) and has a push button start. I suspect the problem is mechanical and wanted it towed back to the dealership. They should have brought a truck that could fit in the garage, they were aware of the height restrictions. When I told the technician to stop trying to jump my car, he slammed the hood and walked away like a 2 yr old.

Im not sure who you all (who are giving 1 star) had for a driver, but the gentleman who rescued me tonight was fantastic. I locked my keys in my running car, tried for an hour to get it open with a coat hanger to no avail, and he showed up within 15 minutes of my finally giving up and calling AAA. 5 minutes later he had my car open, and with a smile. My only regret was that I didnt have any cash on me to tip him. But if our pets ever cross again Ill be sure to tip him double.

Worst towing company ever. My all wheel drive car got towed without using flatbed trucks, causing severe damage to my transmission, ebrake and drive train. I will file a law suit against this shi**y a** company and let them bankrupt.

If you dont mind waiting 5hrs for a tow, they are a great company. Says theres a delay because of the traffic, 5hr traffic delay really? Good thing i wasnt in an emergency or something tragic could have happened.

I called AARP roadside around 8:30am they told me it would be 70 minutes. Called back hour and half they said the driver went to wrong address. Take another hour then I called again asked who the tow company was they said Allstate still another 2 hours go by. Called the number for Allstate but Protech answers the phone very very rude agent. They eventually show up 6 1/2 hours later the driver was very apologetic and nice. Im done with AARP and Pro-tech stay away.
