One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Stopped by to drop a package for return that had a prepaid label Wanted to get a receipt just for confirmation and I could tell that the associate was annoyed that I asked. She handed me a receipt for 5 items with tracking numbers. I only shipped one item I noticed this as I was leaving so I went back and asked for a receipt that had only my item on it and she said well just cross the other tracking numbers out that was the customer before you Seriously I cant get a receipt with only my item???? Have been to this location before and had a similar experience but this time I felt compelled to leave a review I will not be back and will take my business elsewhere in the future Believe me I completely understand everyone has a bad day now and again but she is 0 for 2 and I will not go back. If you truly hate what you do maybe you shouldnt be doing it
If I could give ZERO stars to this facility, I would. There’s one lady with a shirt named Darlene, sooo rude, she shouldn’t be in customer service, she acts and talks to customers like she’s superior and everyone else is either ignorant or beneath her.She doesn’t understand she has to deal with the public and has to be nice to everyone, regardless if she has or had a good or bad day. She’s the face of a reputable company such as UPS but to have a person like that to speak down or just rude to people is unacceptable.
Needed something faxed, and both of the ladies—Samantha and Natalie —were wonderful. They went above and beyond what you would expect to receive from such service. 5 stars
I never write a review at all, but I do a lot of business in the Walpole UPS..I have to say theres a lady that works there and her name is Natalie, and I have to say, what a real nice caring person she is.If I ever had a business that I needed customer service, it would be someone like her..I was there on Thursday and I was waiting because there was a older person in front of me,and that person Natalie was taking her time helping her with sending a email,or mabe a fax,and I was just blown a way on how patient she was with her..It just goes to show there are still a few people in the world that care!! She didnt have to take that long with her but she did and it was nice to see..When the customer was done, she gave Natalie a hug and said that people just dont take time to help people any more!!! Anyway,it just was really nice to see..Thats all I want to say!! Great store!!
I dont often write reviews, but after reading several of the reviews here I found I had a similar experience here and felt I should share. A few months ago I had the same experience as many others. I was told by Verizon that I could drop off a cable box at this UPS location and that they would box it for me and label it. The woman at the counter was fairly rude and told me their system was down (as it appears she told others on several occasions). I asked when it might be up and was told she didnt know and that it wasnt just their system, that it was all UPS store systems. After calling other locations I found this to be untrue. The next closest location to me however, had a Verizon store close by so I decided to just drop it off there instead. Even though the Walpole UPS location is closer to my home, I now drive 25 minutes to Canton instead which is much cleaner, doesnt smell strongly of cigarettes, is always well stocked and has pleasant staff. Id rather drive farther and be spoken to respectfully than experience customer service like this.
I frequently drop off here as it is convenient. Recently I had to return a Directv box and was told in a matter of fact manner that their system was not processing these returns and I should ask Directv to send me a return box or try another day. I had tried over several weeks met with the same reasoning. Each and every time I am here the employees are slightly rude, often two or three working with no greeting of customers. It feels like they are bothered when customers are entering this location. Today I went in to send some things- the sign on the door read “we prefer you wear a mask even if fully vaccinated”. That I am fine with, however two of the employees had their masks loose and under their nose, defeating the purpose. In addition, I was told to “take that with you” regarding the envelope I was carrying. Which I fully intended on doing since my address was on it. I think some customer service training is needed here. It goes a long way to be kind to others.
Do not use this business. Older lady Natalie is super rude. Sent my packaged to the wrong address! Called to rectify and owner started yelling at me saying I should have doubled check? I wrote down the address for this lady perfectly and it was already associated with my phone number. Beyond unprofessional customer service.
The blonde woman with the glasses should not be working with people. I understand everyone needs a job and I wish her all the best but if you are unable to properly communicate with people in a polite and respectful manner, then customer service probably isn’t your thing. I live across the street and I’m seriously considering going to another location just to avoid her on the days she works. The lady with the red hair is very nice, polite and a pleasure to deal with. Wish she was there everyday.
NATALIE - The single worst UPS store employee ever. Im astounded that this miserable old hag still is employed there after all the complains and negative reviews. If you have the choice of a UPS store, go somewhere else because you WILL have a terrible experience because of this one old woman.
What can I say.. with all these bad reviews, something good must come from all these experiences. I had the pleasure of working with Victoria at this specific location in Walpole. She helped me out wonderfully! I had a handful of 4 different packages, in 3 separate locations. In and out. Very helpful, super nice and very professional! Highly recommend using this location during week days as this is when she is working. With all going on in 2020, there seems to be Christmas magic going on at this Walpole UPS. Thanks again Victoria!!
The last few times I have been in to drop off items, Marquis has been such a breath of fresh air compared to how it used to be walking into this UPS location. He is extremely nice, polite and willing to help. Amazon has changed their app a few times for returns and when I chose the wrong return option, he helped walk me through fixing it or gave me a few options on what I could do. Thank you Marquis!
Dont go here. The goal of the older white woman who works here seems to be to make others as miserable as she is.
Quick and painless every time, by all of these knowledgeable employees. The lady working there today was very knowledgeable courteous and ready to help
I went to the loction this week to drop off a few amazon returns with a pre paid lables attached . when i enter the store there was a young lady at the countor . The young lady never acknowledged me by greeting me she left me standing in line for quit a while. I finally had to ask can i do a drop off . she answered me back in such a nasty manner, she had a poor attitude along with being rudely responding to all my questions. I allowed her to finiash processing my return and asked for her name which was Victora. I thanked her for helping me cause you kill people with kidness not rudeness gathered by belongings told her to have a better day and left . FYI I will never go back to this location to do any business again and i sure would not refer anyone to do business here .
Went there today to drop off some amazon returns. No problem. Super fast. In and out. No $1 for tape or printing label like many reviews have said. Jake was the man today. Hopefully Jake stays there full time from open to close and helps this place get a better rating. Good job Jake. Youre THE MAN. THANKS.
Rarely do I ever write reviews so poor, but I am extremely disappointed right now. I went to the UPS store about 10 days ago with 2 returns for Amazon. Both were properly packaged and both had shipping labels. One of the items, they told me they would not take in because it was too big. It was a TV. I asked a few questions and eventually accepted the answer. The second item was very small and they took it. It has been 7 business days and the item still hasnt even gotten on a truck. I can only assume they lost it which I have no proof or record of because I trusted (my mistake) that they would do the right now and left without a receipt. Absolute joke and now I am out this money. I dont know how a store can conduct business in such a way.
Pros: she gave me free tapeCons: expensive to print a piece of paper (pre-paid return label), rude, rude, rude, rude, rude
DO NOT COME HERE. CHOOSE ANOTHER UPS STORE.I saw this store had bad reviews and figured all UPS stores in the area weren’t rated well- so how bad could it be? If you are reading this, I recommend you choose another UPS store. We have been trying to return a box from Comcast for a few weeks, and they instructed us to go to UPS without a label or box, and that it would be taken care of. The first time we went to this store, the lady was extremely rude and said the system was down and she couldn’t print any labels. We figured maybe she was having a bad day because the system was down- benefit of the doubt. We went back to the store today, expecting their “system” to be back up- but got the same canned response from the same woman. When we went to look at other reviews- we noticed that there are reviews from several years back citing the same complaint about not being able to return fios boxes. It does not seem like the system was down, but that they never actually have it up for anything but pre-printed Amazon returns. It would have been much better if they just told us this store did not accept these items, but by saying the system is down, it got us to go back to the store out of our way again for another unfruitful visit.Needless to say, we will not be coming back.
There is a lady that changes $1 for Amazon return. It is like a guessing game if she is working $1 charge, if someone else is working no change. I dont mind $1 but you leave with the filling like are being ripped off.
The lady is so rude. She said to me you cant have all these Amazon returns at one place. She was mad rude..
The blond woman needs to learn what customer service entails & adjust her attitude. If you can’t hack the job & be nice to people, your in the wrong job lady. I will return since it’s the closest UPS Store to my house.
Employees are the rudest people I’ve ever met! Especially the blonde older lady that is always there. I’m going elsewhere, they clearly don’t care about keep customers - she needs to go.
Visited 2 times. First time, a young guy was working there and it was super fast. Took me about 10 seconds to be outside store. Second time a blonde older lady was working asked me to buy some stuff around $10 to return back an item costs $19!!. She even refused to give me a piece of tape to close my box and refused to do ANYTHING. I wish I could reach the manager to reward the young guy as he deserved it and punish that lady.
The woman at the counter was rude, didn’t even say hello, just stared at me so I walked up. Continued to be rude the the process and then refused to help me with my last box because it was too much work for her. I’ll keep using Staples, this place is a unpleasant.
Didn’t realize UPS stores where independently owned and operated. Like someone else said in the reviews, no offense to the staff here, but this place was like an empty store with bare shelves. Counter person said they didn’t have anything and not connected to the internet. What??! They should just close this one.I wasn’t able to print my label so had to go find another UPS store. Don’t go to this one.
The woman refused to provide me with a receipt. It felt like she was trying to steal the items. I was worried I would not be able to receive my refund because the items wouldn’t reach their destination so I took my business elsewhere.
While the customer service was friendly and helpful, my complaint is that they do not have a notary public at this location as their website states. The young man that helped me was very apologetic for the inconvenience however. They did help me get the documents shipped after I ran around to several other non-UPS locations for notary services.
Employees are so rude, unfriendly and not caring about their customer. Especially the blonde women she is the meanest person I have ever seen in my life.
Would give it a zero if it was an option. the worst customer service Ive EVER experienced. Yesterday went to drop off 5 packages of face masks, hand sanitizer and disinfectant that my company was donating to first responders in the NY area. As I was unloading my vehicle the lady came to the door and said I could not drop off because I was a business account. I explained that I was a UPS business customer for over twenty yrs and I was working locally out of my house and told her the contents and what it was for...didnt matter to her. Refused my business and told me I had to take them elsewhere. The rudest person Ive ever encountered! Not only will I ever do business there again Im going to tell my story around town and on social media and ask people to boycott this business.
I just left this store I had 3 medium size boxes and the girl working there said I couldn’t leave them if it was for a business!! I’ve been there all year with business packages. Also she was very rude and yelled at my at my daughter and me through out the store. They need to screen the help.
This is the worst UPS store I went to. It costs $1 to print one label which I was not informed of till after label is printed. The lady was super rude! I have been to many other UPS stores and were never charged $1 for printing label. If I knew I would of printed myself disappointed in the customer service makes UPS a shame this store
Whoever the woman who works here regularly, she is incredibly rude. Not sure if shes the owner or just an employee. She also lost goodness knows how many of many packages. Ive done large drops at UPS locations before with no issue from staff or the packages going out, but this is the first time my business has had to suffer because this woman hates her job. She loudly and audibly said several times Kill me, Ugh, this is awful, Put my out of my misery. I was not the only customer in the store either. My small business now has to reship the packages (at no cost to the customer of course so I lose that money) that did not get put on the truck - which shes claiming they did, but the tracking doesnt lie and they havent been scanned onto a truck since drop off. Ive filed a formal complaint with UPS corporate and hope that she can be shut down or fired.
Terrible customer service, rude staff. wish I could give less than 1 star.
Just read all other Google reviews. Accurate. Plus, consider this: Every time I go here to ship a package, it reeks of cigarette smoke and the woman working there crawls back into the front (3-4 minutes after Ive entered) like, Duuuude ... you interrupted my butt break.
The lady in counter does not know how businesses works. How come UPS can keep such a nasty employee. She behaves like UPS CEO and make her own rule to charge coustmer. UPS should close this location .
There’s one really nice knowledge woman. The rest are awful. They charge a dollar for the Amazon Label that Amazon says is free!
Not sure how this place stays in business. Like other reviewers have stated, went there two months ago and the customer service was abismal. Zero help and 100% lousy attitude by woman in charge.Go to the Postal Center Horace Mann Plaza, E Central St, Rte 140 Franklin (Shaws/Bobs/Job Lot ). Every time Ive been there over the last 10 years they consistently offer GREAT customer service - they are extremely helpful AND pleasant! Will never go anywhere else again, even if I have to go out of my way.
Staff was quick and efficient with my goal of returning my product
Darlene the associate whom I have sadly I countered twice now is one of the rudest peopleI have ever met. If you can’t even be bothered toAnswer or assist people I think it is time to find a new job. I drive 15 minutes further just to not go to this location !!!!
Returning FiOS equipment. Was told by Verizon any UPS store will take the equipment even without a box or a label. Just make sure you get a receipt. Went to this Store. The woman said I had to get a return slip and I had to put it in a box and bring it back. Not very helpful and a little rude at that.
The woman at walpole ups store is absolutely rude and i only gave 1 star because they were open during covid. Listen she is absolutely no help never again in this lifetime !!!!
Just watched a customer get told very rudely that the woman behind the counter couldnt help her get a package to her daughter in college because she couldnt put the code on necessary for it to be routed correctly at her college. When the customer apologetically said she would have to go somewhere else, even going so far as to say it wasnt the woman behind the counter fault, the moment the customer was out the door, the lady at the counter turned to the next customer in line and said is she out of her mind? referring to the woman who just left. Disgusting customer service, I left immediately. I dont see why anyone would ever shop here.
RUDE and the woman acted as though I interrupted her. I’ll drive further next time to a store that wants my business
I seldom write reviews but feel compelled to do so right now. I am a repeat customer at UPS in Walpole. Carly is always pleasant and helpful and I dont go in or do business unless she is thereAbout a few months ago I went in to send a package out which contained a very expensive handbag. There was a younger kid (late teen/early 20s?) working with what looked like his girlfriend hanging behind the counter with him. I felt uneasy about the whole transactions for some reason. I couldnt explain why. Well, the recipient of my package never got it. It was an empty box. I immediately realized the kid must have taken the bag out (most likely giving it to his girlfriend). It was a huge loss for me.Again I will only go in if Carly is there or another guy whom Im unsure of his name.
Some of the most incompetent people u will ever encounter work here.
I have been to this store a few times as it is my local UPS store, I cannot believe how rude the employes are here...Ive had 2 different clerks and they both were not helpful at all and quite snarky, both seemed kinda shady, I left on the last visit uncertain my packages would be shipped to their destination, hate this anxiety, as I write this my packages have not arrived yet..the store is sparse and barely seems professional at all..I will never go there again. one clerk was bantering to herself of her hatred of the cheap owner..geesh
Rude service
Worrs experience Ive ever had in ups stores.Theres an old lady inside who knows nothing about printing documents. They also have some public computer that charges you 10$ for 10 minutes that you spend with that computer. At the end I wasnt able to print anything and the charge was around 10$ for nothing plus my wasted time. Thats a very good business they have there.
They wouldnt give me free tape and drive to my house to get the shoes I forgot to bring to mail, and give my dog a massage. Just kidding it was great and they did a fantastic job!
Cant really tell you much about the service. The place closed again well before its advertised closing time again. There is no ambiguity on the hours. The store even lists them in the establishment. Google also has them right. UPS wont do anything about it. My best advice is to call before showing up. Good luck!
Here are a few things you need to know about UPS Stores.1) They are independent franchises they make money by selling packing materials (including tape) They can pack your stuff but you will pay the cost. (Price and services may vary on locations. Youve heard this before!)2) You as the customer that purchased the item is responsible to secure your package with appropriate packaging materials to ensure its arrival back to the company. (The terms and conditions of the company state that in their policy and you agree to them when you make the purchase)3) You as the customer can recycle your own packaging and get it secured so you dont have to pay for packaging materials at the store. Theres nothing special about taping a package. If you cant figure out how to do that; thats your problem.4) You should have your packaged secured with your address info ready to give to the employee that is creating your label. Everyones time is just as important as yours.5) POLICY CHANGES EVERY YEAR AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR! Yes it can happen from one day to the next. The policy is applied by the employee, not created by them. So you yelling and getting upset is unnecessary.6) The customer is not always right. If they were; no business would be able to sustain itself by always losing money.7) Any employee at any business can refuse you service especially if you are abusive or demanding to the employee or company.8) Due to UPS Stores being independent they cant help you with customer support. You have to go to the website or call the 800 # for assistants.Ask yourself these questions the next time you go to any business upset,1) Would you like being abused at your job for doing your job?2) Would you like to lose your business money by giving away your materials?3) Would you be willing to lose your job for breaking policy because of an upset customer?4) Would like to be treated the same way?Since you answered no to these questions then you should think of how you would feel if someone came into your business abusing and demanding you and your employees to break policy to accommodate the customer.
If possible I would give a zero star and I certainly agree with Damaris. The owner/manager/boss was very rude and did not accept my package when I visited printing my own label. At least I expected a polite reply if it was a new policy not to accept package with label printed by your own. But his words/reply made us feel as if we are trespassing his property. All other UPS stores do accept the packages but not this one. I really wonder if this is a store associated with UPS or franchise owned by one person making up his own policy !! I would never ever visit this store and would rather drive to University Avenue to drop off my package and I strongly suggest not to waste your time visiting this store if you are going with your own printed shipping label ! No offence to employees working there as they are customer friendly.
Went to drop off 4 packages and was told that I wouldnt be allowed to send any future packages because Im sending them with company issued labels.
It always seems to be closed, when you are able to get into the store they are not the friendliest bunch
One would think that a business that deals with the public would have some sense of customer service. Apparently this business is the exception because they have terrible customer service.I will go out of my way in the future and to have to deal with them.PERIOD!
.have had this box for almost 20 years, for the last few months I have been missing mail told the woman she says its the post office every month 3 or 4 missing it is not the post office it is the ups store putting mail in the wrong slots on May 20, 2016 left a card with my phone number and asked to have the owner call me so far no call, I really do not want to file a complaint with the post office, hopefully it will be corrected always had good service fro this business before.
The lady was not nice. She treated me as I was diseased. Stay behind the line, she freaked out
Locked up well before closing time. Last time I was actually able to go inside, the woman treated me like garbage.
The woman who waited on me was on her phone the entire time she waited on me, actively chatting on a personal phone call. Didnt even set the phone down just to complete my transaction. Wow.
Very poor service. The lady servicing the counter has been consistently rude with the customer. Had a very bad experience at this store recently and since then have stopped using their service.
I have been to this place before during the weekends and left with a good experience. Today, I had to go on week day which is Wednesday (04/24/2019) and left the ups store with the WORST experience ever. So, I had to mail some documents to the Embassy and the lady over the counter said for express it will charge $30 and it will be cheaper if you buy label from embassy because they will have an account with ups (if any). I said Ok, I went back and bought and printed a UPS Next Day Air Saver label and went to her ups store at walpole again. She said Oh so they do provide this.. I said, yes, please give me an envelope for UPS next day air. She said NO. I am NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING FREE. i said its not free I bought it from UPS online. and here is the print, you can scan itand check. She was so ADAMENT and said in a VERY RUDE manner that NO you cannot bring label to me from anywhere. If you want Next day Air. You need to BUY from me only. On the top of it, she was VERY RUDE, ADAMENT and NOT ready to Listen. I told her I used the same services before from your store without any problem. She replied, THANKYOU for telling me that my employees are doing wrong behind me. I had to leave the shop after trying to explain her for 10 minutes. I had to go to Canton UPS store and the lady over there, saw my label, put my documents in Next day envelope and said YOU ARE ALL SET. What a Difference? I thanked her so much and told what happened in the Walpole (689 Main st Marketplace) with me and she said DONOT WORRY, I AM HERE FROM NOW ON. Please be prepared guys, if you have a prepaid next day label print (which you bought online from UPS), she wont let you ship. Because she said SHE IS THE OWNER OF THIS STORE. ITS A PRIVATE FRANCHISEE and ITS HER STORE.What a Pathetic Experience...and people who has the store but do not know their buisness and customers. I PITY THEM.
Be ready to be impressed both by the gardens and the interior of the Spanish style hacienda and all this in the middle of a bustling city. Well done Quinta Mazatlan.
Unbelievable place. They say no to everything you ask. They have big printer you can’t use! I really can’t figure out why they are in business.
Very poor customer service. Looking for an alternative location for all my business shipping needs. Employees blame the boss for horrible policies. Obviously no one cares about good service here... or keeping customers
I was treated so bad by the salesperson named Carley that I actually went back in to return my purchase. Carley.Carley continued to be very rude yelling at the top of her lungs veins popping in her neck using fowl language, F this you stupid person .Her behavior was shocking! she came out from behind the counter and stood right up to my face screaming, I was starting to get frightened when she opened the door and told me to get the f out of the store or she would call the Police. Just as I was leaving a very concerned man came over to the doorway to see if I was OK. he was the owner of the Tanning Salon next door. hhe heard the salesperson, Carley screening and he said it wasnt the first time. I just could not believe the venom coming out of her, OMG. Unreal.
Had to pay $1 because I didnt print the label. Never come back !
Received quick and easy service every time. Would love earlier hours.
Rude, unhelpful, told me to goto USPS
In my experience the deliveries are about a day late (at least). Sometimes Ill get notices that they failed to deliver even when Im home. They seem to want signatures for things that I dont think need signatures and wont leave the package. Often times I have to accept that Ill have to pick it up at the office although they dont seem to be open at the posted times and Im often told that they dont actually have my package. Overall very frustrated with my experiences.
Terrible. Unhelpful and rude.
Upon walking in, the 1 staff member was on the phone in the back; didnt seem aware of 3 people waiting; was on the phone for almost 10 minutes. Then the staff person Carly tampered and did minor damage to the item I was shipping, and when I became upset about it, she became rude and disrespectful with very snide and condescending body language and tone of voice. Needs a lesson in customer service!
Anthony did a great job - very helpful (Id had a miserable experience over at FedEx in Norwood). This office will be getting my business from now on.
People do not go to this store they are very rude the owner is so cheap they charge people a dollar to use one strip of tape to secure any box so before you come to this store I would not recommend it bring a dollar because the owner is very cheap to me he’s a jerk
Awful customer service and charged 1.00 for tapping the small lab on an envelope after waiting around 10 minutes because the computers werent woekong
So incredibly rude.
Once again, doors closed and locked during business hours. Please just close this store and save us the trips back and forth.
Horrible customer service.
Theres always an issue. Somethings always down.
Unreasonable rude.
