Wow, my first experience with Franks and it was fantastic. Our dealership said we need almost $3,000 in repairs so I brought it into Franks for a second opinion. After the inspection, DJ said the work wasnt necessary, and best to wait until further notice. Pretty impressive!!!

Frank’s did a pre-purchase inspection and produced a reliable report on the car. They also checked on 2 issues a dealer’s service department cited for repairs. Frank’s inspection found the parts to be working properly and thoroughly explained the parts purpose and how they should function. I no longer trust dealer service departments and am glad to have found an honest local business to support.

The warning light on my Mercedes came on indicating there was a problem with the battery or alternator. Trent fit me in and got the problem solved promptly within 24 hours despite the fact that the shop was quite busy and their schedule filled. The work done was outstanding and Trent service was equally exceptional.

While sadly I did not get a chance to set up an appointment for my car (they were booked solid) because of the emergent need to fix my car they were nice enough to give me another name and number to another auto shop (without me even asking)…I think that demonstrates for this shop it’s not all about the money. :)

I found Frank’s after going to the dealership and being told there were $2500 of urgent repairs. Frank’s helped me understand the dealership report and identify which items needed repair and which just needed monitoring. My bill at Frank’s was only $300 and they took the time to explain each finding so that I understood. I will be going back to them for all future maintenance and repairs!

I did an oil change & tune up and they checked the entire car out for me, they do a great job.

Went to Franks for routine maintenance on car. They sold me everything under the sun. I feel I was taken advantage of big time, especially knowing I lived at Rossmoor. When I booked the appointment over the phone they kept telling me to bring it in early. They kept my car all day because of all the service they pressured me into getting done. I told them when they were trying to sell me things that I was at their mercy. I dont know anything about car maintenance. If this is a family owned business with only family members working for them, I think its time someone came in to oversee what they are up to. What should have been a couple hundred dollars, I came out with a bill over $1,000.00. SHAME ON YOU FRANKS!

A wiring issue took my Lite Chevrolet pickup in for service. The service rep emailed me a detailed inspection report for the wiring plus 4-5 additional issues (with photos) that had been unattended to by me and my previous mechanic service (oops). Mechanical Issues were prioritized On the email and I was so impressed at the thorough inspection I asked them to do Those previously undiagnosed additional repairs. All of these guys were personable, helpful, timely and always go the extra mile. They helped me with my Mini cooper on several occasions, always sent follow-up texts and they lined me up with one of their affiliates for smog. Id no doubt be a life long customer here if I wasnt leaving state. Highly recommend for any auto service, whether you know anything about your car or not, theyve got you.

Frank’s is great! I checked with them because my tire pressure monitoring system registered a problem. After taking a look when I stopped by, they reassured me it wasn’t a serious problem, and I could still drive the car, but nonetheless they were able to get the car in within the next few days to replace the sensor in the tire, since we have a little road trip coming up this week. They also checked to be sure I wasn’t due for any other service, and had the car ready for pickup that same afternoon. Nice people too!

Recently they have incorporated pickup and drop off of cars as an added service given the “Shelter in Place” order which I had to use twice and I must say it went off without any issues. I brought my car here to get a second opinion and was very happy I did. After evaluating my vehicle and the estimate I brought from another company they did agree with all the items named in my first estimate but they did not agree with the pricing and how it was calculated. They saved me $1k and for that I am forever grateful. When something related to the work came up a few months later they took my car in on short notice as I was leaving for a road trip. Not only did they fix the problem but they did it free of charge as it was related to the original issue. They are prompt, honest and reliable. I wont take my car anywhere else. A part I needed was no longer manufactured so there were long delays with my repair. I was ok with this but asked for a quote for the work when a solution was sourced. This was never provided and the repair was far more expensive than anticipated. It was an unwelcome surprise. I do not recommend this business.

I went to see them and they were happy to meet me and gave me a welcome gift envelope. It was full of goodies for my car. I went there with my car and they were very through and let me know the good and bad about my auto. I was delighted and they were HONEST and trusty as can be. I was glad when they were done with my car since it ran better and I get the best gas mileage I could for my car. I have been here now for 5 years and may never go to another auto repair shop with out going to FRANKS first! They do give honest suggestions and advice for me with my auto. I would not be without them. A bunch of years ago, my best friend recommended Franks when my old mechanics shop closed. Ive been so happy with them!! Theyre HONEST and personable, and the work is first-rate. The shop and the office are squeaky clean, and they always try to help me as much as they can, to take care of my car at reasonable prices. Im very fond of Dave (Dave Frank) and DJ Frank, his son. I really cant say enough good things about this place. Im so glad DJ will be running the business after Dave retires so I wont have to find another mechanic place again ever! (I hope)

I have been a customer of Dave Frank for over 8 years. Jaguar and Hyundai, no matter. When the autos need routine maintenance Dave and the fellows are there to provide reliable service without trying to up-sell you with services you dont need. We had a thorny problem with our Jaguar and after Dave could not figure it out, he referred me to a competitor who was able to fix the car. The point here is that Dave did not do unnecessary work.Dave also provides home pickup service which is a major plus.WB 4/25/14

I was originally referred to Franks by my son who just had his car repaired and really like the straight forward honest way that DJ and Dave dealt with him. So I took in my daughters older car to get it ready for college across the country. They did a thorough inspection and brought it up to snuff. Next I took in my older commuter car and although it had a hard to come by part needed they took the time to search it out. I really appreciate the low pressure, and the genuine nature of these guys. Check them out if you are looking for a great mechanic. Its usually less expensive to keep a car up then buy a new one.

Went to Franks simply check the breaks. The mechanic did not inform me of a price so I assumed it was a free visual inspection that is free at virtually every mechanic shop. After 30 minutes, they come back and charge me $80 for doing absolutely nothing. They completely ripped me off and would suggest no one to ever go here. They should at least informed me upfront or else they can charge whatever they want.

Franks auto Service has been servicing my car for 15 years. That many years tells you how satified I am with all phases of their business. Scheduling an appointment is easy and convenient, If the service will take most of the day, they take you home and then pick up when the car is finished. I highly recommend Franks as they are honest, efficient and very fairly priced.

DJ was very professional talking with me over the phone about my vehicle. when my car broke down I was puzzled to figure out my vehicles problem. They fixed everything so I can return back to work.
