Switched out a battery even though they knew it had a warranty. Then mysteriously lost my battery in a couple hours of time so i had to buy theirs.

It is a rare find to locate an honest and knowledgeable repair man. We use auto man for all our vehicles and trust him to find the issue and fix it honestly!!!

Jim and his staff at Auto Man are always friendly and helpful with any questions I may have about my cars. Theyve even gone so far as to provide me a ride home when needing to drop a vehicle off for the night. Ive never felt overcharged and I know my cars are in good hands here. Parking in front of the shop can be tricky during busier traffic times.

This place is awesome. Great staff and very honest and affordable. Took my 2006 Scion XB in for a strange noise in the front. The staff was prompt and had me rolling same day. Far better customer experience than any shop I have found in Walla Walla. Price was right where I wanted it.

Quick, quality and under the estimate!Its rare to get the bill and be under what a shop originally quoted you. Jim and his team have always been honest and forthright - there to work on my car when I need it and always done in a timely fashion.

I brought in a difficult job with my car just loosing power unexpectedly while I was traveling for work. Despite having a full schedule already, Jim answered the questions I (and my family) had, was professional enough to not promise more than he could deliver on, and got the job done at a fair price. I would definitely recommend this shop to other people.

Best Customer service I have had with a mechanic! Never steer me wrong (no pun intended). Really listens to what the problem is and never tries to push or up-sale on other things but focuses on what is asked.

My wife and I were visiting family in Walla Walla. As we were headed out of town, i noticed my wheel bearing was out on the back wheel. I looked up Auto Man and saw all of these excellent reviews. The guys at Auto Man said they could take it in right away, and I was glad for their prompt service. I got curious about the cost for the job, and called my mechanic from my home town who quoted me about $100 less for the job. I confronted Auto Man about why their cost was so much more than another shop, and they told me that they figured I wouldnt mind since I wanted to get back on the road right away. I was let down to say the least. I thought these guys were very friendly, only to find out they had grossly over charged me. I cancelled my appointment with them and found another shop in town who took me in last minute and charged me the fair price. Do yourself a favor and find honest people to deal with.

Very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help me fix a small problem without an appointment. I was in and out in about 20 mins, my problem solved, and a smile on my face from their great service!

My Subaru blew up on a road trip to Idaho. Even though my car could not be salvaged, Jim(the owner) did not charge me for diagnosis, or parking my car in his lot for several weeks. When I called to chat about the situation, he gave me really good fatherly advice and at the end of the day, I trusted him from the get go. If I had a salvageable car, I would definitely trust him and his people to work on it and give me a fair deal on the work! Thanks Jim, may your business prosper!

Automan has been my choice for a number of years and I always get a good job done and the estimates are always accurate. The staff is always friendly and I trust their judgement.

Took them a whole week to figure out what was supposedly wrong with my car, charge me over $450 and in less than 3 weeks later my car is making the same thing that went in to the shop for. Not worth taking your car here ggggrrrrrrr

The best automotive repair shop around who specializes in foreign cars. I cant help, but being thankful to the Auto Man staff. I felt at home from the getcho.

The 2nd van we purchased from OBrien a few years ago was having a (engine light on issue) and was running really rough so we took it to the Service Dept to be checked. First we checked with Auto-zone and they said there was an error codes with a spark plug or wire and the 02 sensor, and we also had a heater issue to be checked as well. We just had a friend replace the spark plugs and I told OBrien all this info. They said they didn’t need the code errors I brought from auto-zone and would check themselves. The problem could not be diagnosed the 1st day so they kept it for another day to keep checking for the root-cause. I was called on the 2nd day and told the fuel injectors needed to be replaced at around $1600-1700 and the radiator replaced for heat issue at $700-800. No way can we afford this since I have been of work for 5 weeks due to a back issue and with no pay. We had to pay $90+tax per item just for them to check. So there went 200 bucks and still no car to use. I called AutoMan in Walla Walla just for a price check and Jim said first he would flush all the injectors for around a 100 dollars and check which ones actually needed to be replaced, he could get them for a cheaper price to save us money if needed. No more than 2 hours later Jim calls back and said all the injectors were ok, don’t need to be replaced. It was due to faulty spark plug wires and misplacement on the block. Then had him check radiator and all it needed was a good flush and a new cap, not replaced but could use a new O2 sensor!! So my van was fixed for $350.00 instead of $2700 and it runs great now!!!! OBrien gave us the WRONG DIAGNOSE after 2 days and would have cost us a lot of money and we still would have had the issue!! I will never go back to OBrien again. Thanks Jim and the AutoMan crew for being honest and doing excellent work on our van!! We will be back again to get the O2 sensor fixed soon and any other repairs that need to be done that come up!! Thanks Again!!

Extremely rude Customer Service!!!!!! I called them on the phone, and I couldnt understand something the guy said, I believe his name was Jim. So I asked Im sorry, what was that?, He said Wow, are we on Mars? Outrageous!!!
