Was contracted through the Air Force and probably the most incompetent moving service Ive witnessed to date. I emailed them a new phone number (with my original email) at 5 am saying that my phone was stolen and use this phone number or reply via email. Additionally, I found out this number was already on file with them(my wifes number).Not only did they not call me, they didnt email me until 12pm saying that they have been waiting at a STORAGE UNIT since 10 am without making any contact for coodination and are now leaving. They then are trying their hardest to push blame on me for their lack of competence. We spent the entire day trying to reach anyone and finally when we do they said they cant move our stuff on the date we originally planned on or the day after. Not only did they completely waste my time, they are also creating a logistical nightmare having to coordinate getting another company to move our stuff and have the air force approve it. We had everything already packed and waiting in a storage unit to make it even easier for them and they couldnt even tell us when they were coming.For the safety of your items and peace of mind, I HIGHLY discourage using this company if you can avoid it at all costs.

I had a number of antique pieces and a family heirloom grandfather clock. Their bid was extremely competitive, they were on time with information, and their crew arrived on moving day scrubbed, energetic, and they loaded my items in an amazing short time. The destination was about 100 miles away and they carefully unloaded and placed everything right where I wanted it. Due to another moving company cancelling my move last minute, I scheduled with Worldwide Moving Systems. The move went without incident, and the movers were nice and professional. They were even able to move my dresser easily down the stairs without issue -- the movers who had moved my dresser in were unable to achieve this and had hoisted the dresser up the balcony. Overall, this was a very successful move and I recommend them.

The 1st 2 days they were excellent, Francis was awesome. To day when came to pick up was completely different. Was different people and they only sent 2 people and it was horrible. I have so much damage to my house, doors, walls, floor light fixtures. And he was SOOOOOOO rude when I told him about the damaged stuff. Really wished it was Francis because Francis was AWESOME but this guy was RUDE AND NASTY. Threw stuff around like it was trash. Horrible service today. Great moving company! We used Worldwide Moving Systems to move out of a house, storage for a few months and the final move to the new location. We received great customer service from Jeff & Heather. The WWMS wonderful crew provided professionalism, care for my belongings and all around exceptional service. I appreciated each team member introducing themselves and respectfully calling me Mrs. D. They took great care of my belongings and moved everything in and placed things where they belonged. The crew exceeded my expectations and was able to move me into the new space without any issues. I have worked for the same employer for the last 17 years that has used companies like this to move me both CONUS and OCONUS. Understanding this, I can confidently say this is the worst moving company I have ever had to deal with. Truth be told, this company was contracted to move me through another company (National Van Lines), through my employer. So, as you can imagine, there is a total lack of communication. There is also a total lack of consistency between the staff at this company and the company that contracted them. You cannot get a strait answer from anyone. Nobody is on the same sheet of music. If you are expecting great customer service and reliable scheduling this this is not the company for you. I will be filing a complaint with my employer at my earliest convenience and recommend my employer does not use this company anymore. The only reason I am moving forward with this company is because I am not paying for it and I am too close to leaving the country and having renters in my current house.

This company was awesome! I helped my sister move with them and they treated me as well as they treated her. They gave us free used boxes, and even delivered them. Our requests on the day of the move were accommodated without question, and the final bill was less than the estimate! The crew reassembled the beds and made no fuss about moving the bed and dresser a second time because we werent quite sure where they should be placed. Our sales rep even stopped by during the delivery to make sure all was well. I highly recommend Worldwide Moving Systems.

By FAR the best moving company Ive had the chance to work with after a lifetime of moving every few years. Sharron and her crew were fast, efficient, and always ready with a good sense of humor! Even better, after realizing I had forgotten some critical items in my move, A-Whisco worked with me to track them down, going over my item list and finding the exact crate it was shipped in, allowing for easy retrieval and saving me a minor heart attack. I cant express enough appreciation for this company and their fantastic staff. 5 Stars! I wish every move could be with these folks!

The movers showed up late, left early, wanted my roommate (who has to sign off) lie and say they were there longer. Not only were they trying to lie on their time sheet, they were terrible packers.They broke many of our items – They broke our computer and our grill. (Two of the items we told them were high ticket items.) How they broke them, I don’t know. The legs and the wheels on the grill are broke so the grill won’t stand up on its own.Kitchen - They threw all of our kitchen items in boxes without any concern for liquids, fragile items, etc. They packed a heavy blender on top of wine glasses, and the container of bleach broke and spilled over our box of kitchen items. I opened the box and after I remove the blender, I found broken wine glasses, bleach covering the rest of the items in there (food, dishes, etc.). Measuring spoons were everywhere, since they didn’t bother to wrap them up together.Bathroom items were the same way. No concern for liquids or fragile items. Most of the bathroom and kitchen boxes had liquids leaking out of the boxes (or had leaked out) or broken glass. There were a few (only a few) boxes that had been wrapped correctly and the liquids and fragile items did not have any damage to them.The bedrooms weren’t much better. They dumped our jewelry (which was on a stand or in containers on the dressers) into the dresser drawers. Where are they now? All over the drawers and even in the bottom of the dresser (because we can’t get the bottom drawers out). Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc are everywhere. We haven’t been able to match up one set of earrings yet.Bunk beds – they broke screws off in the bunk beds and didn’t even tell us. So when the movers showed up here to help us set them up they didn’t know what to do with the broken screws in the holes. They could drill more holes, but there were no screws either.Furniture – they chipped up our furniture. Most of our wood furniture has deep scratches and large chunks of wood missing.The thing that topped it all off was they used a picture that a child made me as packing paper... (a sentimental picture of him and I), … which they saw me take it off the wall very carefully to have packed… and they used it as “packing paper”. They didn’t even fold it nicely to try to cover up that they didn’t care about the picture. It was literally wadded up and used as packing paper.

Ive probably moved 25 times, and this move was the best. Great job by Lynell who estimated and priced it. Packers were superb and the actual move was fast and easy. Great guys and a good value. If I ever move again this will be my team!

If you are searching for a mover, I strongly suggest you NOT CHOOSE Worldwide Moving Services in Waldorf.I was moving a very short distance and with a relatively small amount of furniture. It was mostly bags and boxes. The insurance options as explained to me give you the choice of 60 cents per pound (per item) with a $100 deductible or purchasing coverage weight at a much higher rate but you must use the full moving weight load as provided by the mover, and this still has a deductible. I considered the higher coverage, but it would have cost me approximately $4000 and also preassumes that heavier items have more value. So I read the (mostly good) reviews and chose Worldwide.Here is the problem with this system. It allows for many little pieces to sustain enough damage to be unsightly, though not destroyed, and then allows the mover to simply issue a minimal amount as compensation.My thought process at the time was that this company would have a skilled crew and would (should) be able to avoid those nicks and scrapes that we hire professional movers for, instead of doing it ourselves. I was wrong, unfortunately.I watched as the crew walked into walls, corners, and other pieces of furniture. The crew chief was a hard worker, his helpers much less so. Because of this, and the repeated promise of “we’ll make it right” I did not rate them poor on my sign off sheet. Instead I noted there had been damages, documented them along with the crew chief, who told me they should be easy for them to fix. The damages included a leg broken off a cheval mirror, the edging torn up on some dressers, and the back of a chair scraped and scratched. This last occurred when one of the crew was so busy singing, talking, and dancing around that he walked right into the back of the chair carrying a metal table base out if front of him.I was told numerous times by the crew chief they would make it right. Here’s what to expected to happen, based on out conversation: they would arrange to have the mirror leg super glued in place. The scraped furniture would be handled with white touch up paint, and chair would have the scratches rubbed out to be less noticeable.They also failed to deliver the power cord to my tv, but after multiple emails back and forth on that, I just went and got my own and left it off the claim sheet. Verizon was coming and I needed power to the tv.The end result of all this? They’re sending me a check for $45. I cannot say that they are not sticking to the letter of the contract, but I can say that they did a poor job in handling my furniture, used their time inefficienctly (this is an hourly charge, by the way, and leaving 2 men at the truck while one man takes a bin up to the fourth floor and makes numerous trips by himself back and forth from the stopped elevator sure eats up time. I did ask the man why he was doing this all by himself and he sad something about it being such a long walk from the elevator and taking turns. Such poor time management (in my opinion) but managed to add time onto the overall process.If you’ve stayed with my review this long, thank you. I caution you again to not use Worldwide in Waldorf. Their moving skills are inadequate and instead of “making it right” as they promised, they chose, as is their right, to stick to the absolute letter of the law in the insurance clause. Would I have a chance if I opted to take this on legally for negligence? Probably not since the levels of damage incurred would probably not rise to the amount of time and money it would take to fight it. So I will take my $45, touch up my furniture, and probably just buy a new mirror rather than chance one with a glued leg. What I want to stress though, is DON”T USE WORLDWIDE MOVING SYSTEMS I N WALDORF!!!!!!!!!

Hard workers, but arent always careful with your items for local moves. Recommend using them but be sure they wrap your furniture to prevent paint transfer/damage. We had a mirror get broken, and some dark wood items get white paint transferred from other items.

Could not have asked for a better moving experience. Due downsizing, we had to not only move belongings to our new residence, but also had items that needed to go to storage. In just two days, the crew was able to transport and place each item in its place. Wayne, TJ, Andrew and Josh had great attitudes and despite HEAVY equipment and many many many stairs, they maintained their smiles and jovial demeanor the entire time. Jeff and Lynell were fantastic during the coordination process and followed up with us a few days later to check in on us.If you are looking for movers, look no further!

The men were very personable with a good positive attitude and handled our things with great care. There were a couple of minor items broken that probably occurred during transport but our HH items came to us intact for the most part. Movers didnt properly unpack or discard of boxes/debris per the contract when they delivered items. Dumped items in heaps on the floor. They didnt put together items properly. If you want unprofessional movers that dont oblige their contracts and basically can careless about customer service, this is the company for you.

Absolutely terrible packing job.I had A-Whisco for my military move.No one informed me that my HHG would be stuck in a hot warehouse for 3 weeks, and the communication was terrible. There were 7 movers sent to pack my stuff, and everything was thrown into random boxes with no organization and poor labeling. Im finding random groceries wrapped inside kitchen appliances, shoes thrown haphazardly, unwrapped, into random boxes with clothes. They also had left my condo without returning the elevator key and I have yet to hear whether or not it has been returned. They also tried to lie on the packing forms by saying that my brand-new mattress was soiled - after only owning it for a week.I would not recommend A-Whisco.

Weve been without furniture for 10 days then learn that our stuff is sitting in their warehouse 45 mins away but wont be delivered for ANOTHER 14 days. 7 days longer than the original estimate. I called & told the receptionist that Ill be renting a truck to get my stuff & she made it abundantly clear NOT to do that. I literally argued with this lady on the phone who later told me that I had to set an appointment. I told her fine, lets set an appointment. Next she tells me to get a large enough truck b/c I have 9000lbs of stuff when I barely have 2300lbs. Our military coordinator sent me an email saying that Whisco wants to void the warranty of our items so to check house goods at their facility. This company is impossible. Im on my way to get my items with camera in hand. Will post once I get our stuff******** UPDATE************So heres the deal when you pick up your stuff: They will give you a check list. They will unload the boxes & packages which are numbered. Theyll call out the numbers & you check it off. After everything is unloaded & you complete the check sheet then you go inside & sign a waiver sheet, releasing them from liability. You arent given an opportunity to check for damages, missing items etc b/c you they unloaded boxes. So unless you can see through boxes you wont know until you get to your house. Bring some friends to help you load the truck because they will not help you with that. Like the rep said in response to my initial post your stuff will go through multiple companies before you get it. So I CAN NOT blame Whisco for the following. Our stuff was dismantled, we had keyboards, computer mouse, our stapler, pens, wrapped up individually. Our boxes that we loaded & marked from Great Lakes were completely rearranged. Dont say you werent warned.

Called for a quote for my move from FL to Vegas, and was told they are a local company based out of Maryland. Why on earth would you call your company worldwide if thats the case? Not only that, but how did these jokers come to be the top hit on google when you search worldwide moving? Absolute waste of my time.
