Without question, the worst customer service ever. I submitted a change of address Aug 15tg to become effective Sept 1. When I received no mail on Aug 19th and 20th I called them. They didnt bother to read the effective date and started forwarding my mail before I asked. They could not tell me where my mail really was including mail from that day. Best part was when the USPS guy said I dont care which was obvious from the start. I have never had worse service from the USPS than from Waldorf.
Just got off the phone talking to a so called manager about his rude RCA who almost hit my car and then tried to argue with me about it but his manager has a worse attitude than him and I do not appreciate the rudeness just because he doesnt know the waldorf area ! They let anyone be a manager.. I hope thats not the post master.
Called about a package that was to delivered today to give delivery instructions, because I couldn’t login to the delivery instructions on the tracking like I usually do. The person that answered the spoke so nasty to me, as I explained that I needed to have this package delivered to my apartment door, because it is perishable medication and I’m disabled and can’t go to the mall room
I was reading the reviews about this post office and I have to agree on most of their complaints. I get other people’s mail as well. Sometimes a delivery that I was expecting would say that it has been delivered but it wasn’t. I would call the next day and they would answer the phone but the person always says the same thing (it will be delivered today) which it does...thankfully. However, I have talked to the person who delivers my mail about it and he said, the packages are scanned but not delivered until the next day sometimes. When I asked him why, he said that it gets late and he gets called back to the post office for the day. I have spoken to the post master about a year ago and he said that he was going to take care of this problem but nothing has really changed. The same thing is going on again. I haven’t received my package but it’s says it’s been delivered. I’m going to report them to the postal service of the United States because it’s becoming a real issue.
WHERE YOUR MAIL GOES TO DIE. This place is incredibly dysfunctional. Not sure if its incompetence or laziness - probably both. But Ive had several packages sitting here for more than a month now, with no scanning, movement or updates. Including so-called Priority Mail packages! Any enquiries are responded to with just a bogus form letter asking for patience. Once I see that a package Ive mailed or expect to receive arrives here, I know it will never make it to its destination. I hope these postal workers enjoy all the stuff they must be stealing!
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! THEY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT, MORE STAFF, BETTER ORGANIZATION. OR JUST SHUT THEM DOWN BECAUSE RIGHT NOW WE DONT GET ANY MAIL OR PACKAGES!!! Your packages endlessly go back and forth between distribution centers. I have live plants that have been back and forth between this distribution center as well as District Heights multiple times. Udderly ridiculous! And I always get my neighbors mail....
The most incompetent postal service ever. I truly don’t know how this place hasn’t been investigated based on the reviews. I recently moved to the area and I’m beyond frustrated with this place. Not only did they hold my package for no reason at all, but they scanned it saying I requested them to hold it. Again, I JUST moved here so why would I ask for that? The package had 2 items. One was delivered, the other was held. How does that make any sense?After calling 3 times and getting hung up on, I finally spoke to someone who said it would “probably” be delivered Wednesday. It’s Thursday now and still nothing.

Ive had a package thats been sitting here for almost a year! I dont even live in MD and the place my package was being mailed to isnt in MD. I dont even know how it ended up here. Ive filed a missing mail search and multiple claims through the USPS website, but nothing has come of it. Im so done with USPS. I wish I could sue!

The worst postal office and service we have ever encountered. Lazy postal workers who would rather claim the package couldn’t be delivered when in reality they chose not to bring it up to the door. We literally watched the video of them stop, look up and decide not to do their job. Every single day we get the neighbors mail or someone else’s mail in our neighborhood to include packages because it’s clearly too difficult of a job to match the address with the address on the mailbox. Contacted the office and was rudely hung up on when trying to discuss the problem.
Laziest distribution center ever, still havent seen a package i ordered way before christmas
Awful. Just absolutely awful. This distribution center took 15 days to process my package. I thought they lost it. It was only after I threatened to file a claim it magically appeared. Given the other reviews I dont know how they dont get investigated.
Still a little confused with the information I was given a few minutes ago, but I appreciate them trying.

Everyone on my street gets together to sort through their mail at night to get the numbers right and distribute it because the mail dept sure as hell cant. They just shove the large packages in the large mailbox so whenever I have a package coming I go to my neighbors because he has the biggest mailbox and they put it in their. Lazy, sooo very lazy.
I ordered something on Amazon and it was due to be delivered on the 16th. Hours later I get a notification saying that the package was attempted to be delivered but no such address existed. Heres the thing- they never attempted a delivery period because the mail was still in the box with the flag up. I went to the center and they said my package was senr back due to an insufficient address. I was fuming so I left. Totally rude and unprofessional
Ordered a Christmas gift and expected delivery was Friday, on Sunday they returned my package to the sender. They didn’t care about helping me in any way. Merry Christmas...

I have been on hold with these people for 2 plus hours. Rose answered and put me on hold for over an hour. Another lady said hold on a second and never came back. Very unprofessional. I have screen shots of my hold times on my phone. I scheduled a delivery and it was never delivered. While typing another lady comes to the line askingwho you holding for terrible service. Before I could say anything she put me on hold and disappeared again. No apologies were rendered. The lady declined giving her name but she is scolding at me and hitting the table at the same time. Total time on the phone 3hours and 23 minutes.
We have been waiting for a package that was delivered 3 or 4 days ago. We are a business in an industrial park so we have one of those big boxes with 10 mail boxes in them. Well, the package is too tall to come out of the box when I open the door, so I cant get it out so the mail carrier has to get it out for me. I have called 4 times and spoke with three different people asking that they reach out to the carrier and ask him to bring the package to our business, but I have yet to receive a return phone call with the status nor have I received the package! Very poor customer service!!!
I had a certificate letter delivery attempt on 5/1/19. I went online and scheduled another the deliver for the next day. I didnt get it on 5/2/19 like my confirmation email said I would. I called again on the 2nd and I was assured my letter would be left on 5/3/19. So on 5/4/19 I come home and still no letter. The postal carrier took the notice that I signed saying to leave the letter but didnt leave it. Now I have to take off work to go pick up the letter because the postal carrier dont want to do their job. I work for UPS. I would be suspended at minimum if I didnt do my job. This post office carrier needs to learn how to do their Job, or find a new one.
The building is easy enough to find if you are told where it is.It always looks closed, however they have extended hours from the regular post office.Staff is nice but it always takes so long there.
As ghetto as a business can get! Outside of Ivette, who is the most polite and helpful employee there, the others act like they dont care to be bothered. The customer service is atrocious, and forget about trying to track down a package. The supervisor basically gave me the run-around, and said they dont honor insured lost packages, only damaged ones. Well, if the shipper sent it, and it shows it was delivered to my house, where is it? He gave me a number, but no one answered or bothered to return my call! You guys suck! No wonder the USPS is losing business! Hire employees who can give good customer service! (Only a 1-star, and its because Ivette works there! If not, a big fat ZERO!!!)
How do I start, one of the worst post offices I have ever dealt with. First no one answer the phone, secondly if the lose your package they give you the run around about why they cant find it also the person at the front needs more help. In the supervisor doesnt do anything but hide in the back. Almost a month I havent got my package You are better off going ups or FedEx
Dont EVEN get me started on this place!! I went here to find a package that my tracking information told me was delivered. It had not, so the company I purchased from did some research on their end and discovered the pkg. was last tracked to the Waldorf distribution center. I went here and waited a solid 3 minutes ( I timed it ) for the gal to get off of her personal cell phone, loudly talking to her mother WHILE playing a game on a tablet!!! What a joke!! I gave her my tracking number, she looked it up and then disaapeared without saying a word to me. She returned, got back on the USPS computer, then handed me a photocopy of a HAND HOLDING MY PACKAGE!!She told me the person who handles lost packages was at lunch now. It was 10 in the morning!! Now.....if she handed me a PICTURE OF A HAND holding MY PACKAGE, its not LOST, right?? After talking in circles and making my LOST PKG seem as insignificant as she was able to, I had to leave.....I WORK!! The wind up is, someone in that DISTRIBUTION CENTER made off with MY PACKAGE!!
Living in Waldorf I have dealt with this place for years. They are consistently unprofessional. They stuffed a notice in my mailbox. Online, I scheduled and received confirmation of redelivery. I waited that day-it was not redelivered. The next day when I was away they delivered a final notice- because I wasnt home....on the day after the were scheduled to redeliver!
I had to go there a few times to pick up a package, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Customer service must be a staple of their training. Good job USPS.

Welcome to your local neighborhood post office Annex. Ive never seen one of these before. If you are lucky and find one of the six spaces open, you can slip in the side door, here you will find suprisingly helpful staff. We had to visit repeatedly to pick up our mail following our move to the area and never had a negative experience that did not involve parking.
How in the world do you lose my registered letter and misdeliver my package within a span of a month? Someone needs to be held accountable at this facility. The one star above is one to many.
Horrible customer service. I used to be a carrier in Alexandria and i dont understand why or how the carriers are not required to wear a uniform. Not only is it unsafe it is unprofessional.

The same lady that ALWAYS answers the phone is always unprofessional and rude if you ask her do anything other then breathe. The post office should not seem like im talking to the SAME UNCARING BLACK WOMEN AT THE MVA. Do you really think i want those type of people to care for my packages.?!
There are a few women with nasty attitudes here. Can the postmaster insists all employees speak to and handle all phone calls respectfully?
If they dont want to do the work apply somewhere else. Every time I call they put me ON HOLD for 25 mins then hang up then after a fourth time calling as soon they pick up the phone I get transferred to the SUPERVISOR another useless person and first thing they do ask for my information so they can get rid off me. No one in this facility capable doing the job.

The supervisor Melody Hemby was one of the most unprofessional supervisors I have ever had to deal with. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me that he would just tell me to deal with her. In the dispute with our mail deliverer, she was not at all understanding, rude and kept trying to rush me off the phone. Not well trained in customer service.

The carrier delivered my package incorrectly and I called to fix the issue and the woman over the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional I asked her why she was being rude in a calm voice and she hung up on me and told me thats her normal voice.
