Prompt, professional service. The guys here are no joke; your stuff will be done at the fastest possible time. I dont know any other place more organized or who can deliver so quickly. These guys deserve a raise for being able to keep up, especially during the pandemic.

I’ve had several items dry cleaned at zips, and for the most part I’ve had no complaints. However, in my most recent experience, I had a yellow cardigan dry cleaned and it came out smelling like Elizabeth Taylor white diamonds perfume. It’s been a few weeks, and that heavy perfume smell is still there. Again, prior to that experience, I had no issues, so I will give them another chance.
Not only are my clothes always crisp, I love the fact that they send an email to let me know my clothes are ready.
Good turn around time and reasonable prices, but quality of work is subpar. All dress shirts came back wrinkled.

I took 3 suit jackets to Zips near me for cleaning. After picking up my jackets, I noticed the collars and other areas of jackets were not clean. I returned the jackets for free cleaning. Soon after that..I had a terrible accident and wasnt able to pickup my clothing. I returned a week ago to pickup my jackets to be informed that my clothing was donated to charity. Apparently, I dropped off my clothes in January 2020. I didnt receive any written material from Zips about their policies and procedures including time limitations during my initial visit. I want my clothes back!! No call....No voicemail...No clothes!! Not happy!!
It was simple enough. I went in last Saturday, there was a rather long line but I know its not the staffs fault. Its just a rush time I assume, for them where everyone is getting off work etc. They were efficient and professional, getting people in and out as satisfied as they could. Despite the angry customer or two, they never took any frustrations out on anyone else and stayed as friendly as possible. The young lady I had, Nicole T. was very polite in offering me information and recommendations on pricing and just what to get done. She made me feel welcomed and next time I come to MD I hope to have a nice experience like this time.
I drove from Clinton & found this black owned cleaners. HAPPY! I will invest my $ here & hope what I do helps them grown & improve there business to we will have more Black owned business within PG County. I realize Everyone wont be satisfied because expectations vary but, my clothes were cleaned $ pressed. No stains no issues. I also know if there was an issue, I would ask to speak to management in hopes they can resolve it. Be patient. There are very few Black businesses in our county. Work with them not, against them.
I like the service and even if you dont they will redo your garment for you at no charge.

Ive been using Zips Dry Cleaners for as long as I can remember, and the customer service never fails to satisfy me! The cashier Nicole is an absolute sweetheart-- to be honest I never been to a dry cleaners before, and she was more than patient and kind with me as I was stumbling my way. Very nice woman, and very good customer service. Would love to come back here again next time I go on a road trip!
I paid for a zipper to be replaced on my suit pants and the seamstress failed to replace my zipper after returning to the store four times to rectify the issue. At the end of the day my money was returned but yet my zipper hadn’t been replaced!! Extremely inconvenient!!

I echo previous reviewers who say you get what you pay for. My wife and I should have known that $19.99 (prepaid) to dry clean a king sized comforter was too good to be true. Two comforters that were dry cleaned looked as if they had been taken out of the bags that I brought them in, folded and put in a zipped bag ready for pickup. One of them had what looked like a big coffee stain (see photo) on it. We will not do business with Zip anymore and we urge others to follow suit.

Have taken clothes here before to have dry cleaned and they did a good job. Refused my husbands suit because of dog hair. They said some people are allergic to pet hair. USE a roller brush! They said take outside to shake off the hair. Everyone who owns a pet knows that won’t cut it. Goodbye Zips
The first time I came my husband’s shirt was returned with dye all over it. We thought it was a mishap and overlooked it and tried this location again! A huge mistake a white dress that I love was returned with a purple dye throughout the dress. I was going to the one in Alexandria and never had a problem. I decided to try this one because it was more convenient for me logistically. I will not return to this location. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of service.
RUN!! This has been the WORST dry cleaning experience. My clothes were NOT CLEAN. Items were WRINKLED, STAINED, and they put a HOLE in my coat. Go to the Waldorf, MD Zips if you would like repugnant service, your clothing ruined, and waste your time and money. If there were negative stars they would be given. I am truly disappointed and horrified such a dry cleaners exists.
Great work for such a high-volume store. Staff does a really good job of keeping the line moving to ensure Zips lives up to its Speedy service.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I dropped off an 800 dollar suit to be dry cleaned and paid for a rush to get it done by 1 the next day. When I arrived at 2:00PM not only was the suit not done but they had lost the jacket. They could not find it anywhere and the girl who took in the suit wasnt there. The cleaner in the back claimed that she hadnt been given a jacket either. If it were not for the fact that the event the suit had been required for was cancelled my roommate would be utterly screwed. They told me they would call once they found it after reviewing camera footage but I dont have particularly high hopes. Either way I will never be returning here again and if they dont find the jacket they are getting an 800 dollar bill.
I’ve been going to this Zips location sine it open. The service is good if you are getting your item dry cleaned. However when I had my cloths laundry with Ned starch and crease in my pants this location come up very short. Several time I asked for starch with crease, the med starch never happens although I paid for that service. The crease in my pant are always a 50/50 shot. Each time I stated the pans should have been creased the server takes to the back fir the creasing. The last time (Thu 5th July) I stated the pants should be creased and the server took the pant to the back and comes back with the pants folded by the seams and NO crease as if I don’t know what creased pant should look like. To pay for a service and not get it the cloths that I were going to leave for service I took them with me and to the cleaners down the road. I will not be using this Zip cleaners again.It odd that the owner address the reviews that give them 5 stars but I don’t see where you care enough to address the reviews that give you a low score. Praises are good for responses, however you can’t take the time to address the store short comings? Not good customer service or customer care!
When they first opened they were awesome. Then their quality started to slip. I just picked up my uniform and a button was missing. This is the second time in a row. And the manager said they can’t find it so there’s nothing they can do. No offer of a refund, just “sorry.” I guess they’re going to be like all of the other dry cleaners in town and just not care.
Fast and efficent
Just unwrapped dry cleaning I had cleaned in May, I know I should have unwrapped when I brought it home instead of just hanging in closet. My husband shirts do not looked pressed, only the top button of his shirts buttoned so the rest of the shirt creased! Completely disappointed! Then my white shorts they ruined! Why would you stick safety pins through the fabric which left rust spots on my white shorts .. did not press the back pockets which are all crumpled on top of that! There are black marks all over my white shorts! That definitely were not there before.. I bought the shorts from Ralph Lauren worn once then taken to zips to be dry cleaned as per label.. now ruined!I guess you get what you pay for! I am completely upset.. tried to call the Waldorf location multiple times no one answers the phone!
I have been using Zips at this location since they opened and the Zips in Oxon Hill for years but after this last experience I will never return. A shirt was burned with an iron I brought it back in and was made to feel like I was a criminal. The customer service experience was eye opening!
I used to love this place- next say service at a great price. But in the last 2 visits, they have lost a total of 2 shirts a one pant. I go up to the counter for pickup, an they hand me clothes that are not mine. Now the have to go through the security video to identify the clothes I dropped in for service. I will never use their services again!
This was our first time using the Zips Cleaners in Waldorf. I dropped off dry cleaning for my Mom. She picked them up today only to find that the dress was so wrinkled, as if they never even cleaned, but instead just pulled it out out the bag. The shirts were also wrinkled, however, nowhere near as bad as the dress. Needless to say she was not happy with the experience. Now she is very worried because she dropped off her winter coats, not knowing that they are not that good :(

Definitely get what you pay for, its a shame too... Id rather you give realistic expectations than overcommit and not deliver... Ive had items lost, damaged, they are understaffed during known peak hours, etc...Seems poorly ran imo. If you dont need in and out service as they advertise, worth taking a chance, otherwise, go to a mom and pop, product better, and less headache.
You know the saying...you get what you pay for. We are at this point with coming here over a year 3 shirts ruined or lost, add a tie today. Yet I keep coming here. I guess in the long run it is worth the loss. Staff is nice.
Id give this place 0 stars if possible. On numerous occasions, Ive dropped items off by 9a to receive them back by 5p. ZIPS has yet to accomplish this simple task (maybe they should remove that slogan). Second, Ive noticed time after time that items are not thoroughly cleaned. Ive taken snap shots of specific items before & after ZIPS care. To my surprise, Im charged for items that arent even cleaned!Third, getting dressed for work, Ive noticed numerous expensive shirts have shrunk (and these were shirts I recently purchased).STAND CLEAR OF THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY & YOUR ITEMS!
Staff is pretty cool. They are easy to talk to and offer the occasional joke. They have a sign for alterations, but they dont do alterations. Yet, I would recommend the cleaning service.
Waste of money. I dropped off $60 worth of clothes to be cleaned. 1/4 of the items had to be recleaned (it looked like they didnt clean thwm at all) and pressed. When I came to pick up the remaining items, two of the garments still had the same stains and they damaged my suit jacket! The $1.99 isnt worth the poor service.

8 Men’s Shirts to launder. 1 Suit to clean. Shirts had wrinkles ironed into them. Most looked like they had not been pressed at all. Called and left message for manager to discuss. Received no call back. Will NEVER EVER use this company again. Wish I could leave a -5 stars they are so unacceptable with poor customer service. I noticed when I was dropping off several people going over their laundry piece by piece. This should be a warning to all.
Ruined a $100 silk DVF cami, it was shrunk and color bled. Do not let this location dry clean your quality garments.

Had 2 uniforms for work taken to Zips at the recommendation of a coworker. I had explicitly asked them to crease the sleeve and NOT the patch. I even watched them notate the account as such. When my uniforms came back, they were stiff as a board, the patches were creased on one shirt and the other shirt sleeves weren’t creased at all. To top it all off, they shrank my pants in the process and I ended up needing to purchase new pants ($60+ a piece). While the price and convenience of drop off and pick up were nice, you get what you pay for; cheap service and no guarantees your items will come back as they were when you dropped them off. I would not recommend this or any other location of this chain. I will pay a bit more and wait a little longer for a quality job than deal with this business ever again.

Please be advised I just recently moved into the Waldorf, Maryland and I was in search for a Dry Cleaners. Well just recently I took some of my dress shirts to be clean. Needless to say my Suede Dress Shirt was damaged and destroyed. My Suede shirt was placed on a pressing machine and the fibers in was destroyed. Now the shirt looks so shiney as if someone put grease on it. I need to be compensated.
I will NEVER be bringing my clothes to this zips again! I put in a Faux-Fur coat that specifically has to be dry cleaned. I got it back and the fur on my hood coat was completely burnt/ damaged. My boyfriends works here and he put my coat in under his name because family and friends get a discount. His manager told him that he doesnt have to pay for it as well. He puts the coat and a worker in the back puts my coat in the dryer. When I went to pick up and saw the damage I went in the store to asked someone how does the process work to clean this type of and she said that they put in some type of machine where they put the chemicals on it and then it is suppose to air dry but the worker in the back put it in the dryer. When I asked to speak to the manager, she did not come up and sent her associates to handle the situation. After a few of other associates told her to come up she finally came. She was no help. She gave me the GM number and she NEVER answered the phone. So I had to track her down a figure out when she was going to be in the store. Basically she told me because it was my under boyfriends name, they couldnt do anything. So my whole thing yall dont care about yall employees or their close? Thats how I took it, and the guy who put my coat in the dryer isnt being held responsible at all even when he KNOWS not to put coats like mines in the dryer. WORST service ever!!!!!
Service was awful I would never go back here again I took a pair of pants to get a zipper put on and was told they would be ready later on that week I went to pick them up and was told to come back the next day I went two days after that and they couldn’t find my pants I called and spoke with a manager who told me she’ll call me back she’ll see if she can find them called me back with some lame excuse that was my first and last time going there. This was the WORSE SERVICE EVER.

Ruined my son’s Jos A Bank suit. Returned it with huge rip with no explanation or apology. Management continued to make attempts to duck my son’s fiancé’s attempts to seek compensation. This went on for weeks. Then the manager, who blamed the owner, offered a fraction of what the suit was worth. Never use this service unless you are willing to risk the loss of your garment.
I had a coupon that I gave them and they forgot to give me the sale price until I reminded them that I gave them a coupon, and even then, the sales clerk told me to just use it the next time I came. The only problem is that the coupon was about to expire. One of the two dresses I took, still had deodorant stains on it which is why I took it in. They charged me for cleaning a dress they never even touched! A lady in front of me had the same problem and had to leave garments there because they were not clean when she came to pick them up. I will NEVER bring another garment to them.

When i first moved to Waldorf I glad it was a ZIP Cleaners nearby but after the last couple of visits I think I need to take the drive to Crofton or find another cleaners. I have taken shirts there and gotten them back badly wrinkle or still wet in the past. But after yesterday I will not be back got there at 8:45 am didn’t get waited on until around 9:10 then was told i guess we can get them to you after 5 i had a 2 pc suit 3 shirts and a pair of slacks. When I picked up my clothes they had to find the suit then when I got home to get dress the shirt I wanted to it had a spot on the back also it was badly wrinkled had to wear something. Then this morning was getting dress for a wedding the suit it’s wrinkle the pants look like they have never been around a iron or steamer. It’s seems to me thats it’s all about the volume and not the quality of work. Please steer clear if you don’t want to work around wrinkle after paying money to have your clothes pressed and cleaned

Went to retrieve one of my white laundered shirts that were dry cleaned by this Zips location and found two sizeable and visable blood stains on the front where an employee must have bled on it. Disgusting! I will be looking for another cleaners!
I’ve given this place several times to get my Military creases right in my blouses, if anyone with eyes even glanced at the creases you could tell they were jacked up. Took my daughters uniforms in for school to be dry cleaned and pressed and they look like they were just washed and dried in a dryer. Not a single crease in them. Not to mention several of them have brown spots on them now and they were white when I took them in. I don’t know who is supervising the cleaning and pressing of garments but I have given this location my final cent as a customer.

I am dissatisfied Everytime I get my clothes back from Zips. I was using it because of its price only and this is why. Everytime my clothes are returned they have this old smell to them. Also, they have previous wear wrinkles, meaning, under the arms and between the legs are still wrinkled. I questioned them to clarify if they are using used or old water which is giving my clothes a smell that they did not have when I originally took them there. I am having to spray a little more cologne on to surpress the smell of old water. Please advise, if anyone else is having the same problem.I am beginning to believe that it is not worth the saving if I have to endure the smell, wrinkles and also the stains that are not cleaned off the clothes. The staff is great but I dont go to Cleaners to make friends, o go to get my clothes cleaned. Am I wrong to expect clean,pressed clothes.

Beware: If you have a problem, not only will they NOT fix it. But the manager will go out the way to argue with you to show you who is in charge!

My first time using Zips cleaners and right off the bat they lose my pants thay goes with Saks Fifth Avenue suit. The coat to the suit was extremely wrinkled. Im still waiting on them to find my pants. I hope they do because the suit cost $450.
The employees are friendly... however I hate it when they crease my husband and my pants with a side cease....a creasing should always be in the front of pants...
Got my blues shirts back in worse condition than I brought them. Wrinkles all over the place and my rank was pressed way off center and looks ridiculous.
Terrible customer service! BEWARE!!!!! Management and employees could care less about these issues. Every time my husband goes here they do not have his clothes ready. He always drops them off before 9 am and they are suppose to guarantee they will be done by 5 pm. Not at this location. He literally has come to expect them to not be ready and doesnt even bother going to get them after 5 pm and waits it out another day. They still sometimes..... do not have them ready UGH!!!! They have lost his clothes several times, they dont send the dry cleaning bag back with his order or they give him someone elses clothes. He has taken back a t-shirt that is not his twice now and they keep putting it back with his order. If your missing a black Pink Floyd t-shirt we have it and will try to give it back AGAIN! Oh and almost every single shirt they have cleaned, the sleeve buttons are either cracked in half or have broken off due to their sub-par cleaning. My husband is at his breaking point with this location.

Way too busy for the amount of staff on duty. Lines out the door on multiple visits, LONG time to get waited on, especially by folks that were just putting in their time. No Courtesy! Not happy with the multiple creases put into the laundered shirts and the trousers = sloppy!

This dry cleaner really need to do something about the long lines.
On 2 occasions they have handed me clothes that were not mine and on my last visit they lost my shirt and it still hasnt been located . I have been told a manager was going to call me and it hasnt happened yet. My shirt has been MIA for 2 weeks. I will never use this establishment again.
