Sheela & Dr. Amina are always so fabulous and thorough in my dental care! Sheela ALWAYS goes above and beyond to be such a warm and friendly welcome to every visit. I used to be petrified of the dentist going up & these 2 women have completely changed my POV on going to the dentist. These ladies work so hard & am always so appreciative to their kindness.

I would definitely not recommend Gentle Dental. They constantly were pushing me to get things done on my teeth that I did not need. First it was my wisdom teeth and then I got those removed (not medically necessary). As soon as they were removed they started pushing me about needing braces again because my teeth were shifting (which multiple people and my new dentist have told me was not needed). Ever since I started going to them I was constantly needing to get fillings done, which I never needed before. I was told these werent necessary by another dentist. On top of all this, when I would go in to get my cleanings done if I didnt explicitly say to them I did not want a fluoride treatment they would provide it to me during the cleaning which I would then have to pay out of pocket for. I also had multiple dentists tell me that was not needed. Needless to say switching to another dentist was the best decision I made for my teeth.

I had an amazing experience! Sheela was very caring and made me feel very comfortable in the office she took care of my ex rays!! Dr. Amin made me a treatment plan and I will be back soon to follow up with them! I definitely recommend gentle dental of wakefield!

I had what turned out to be a loose crown. Staff did an excellent job, as this crown was quite difficult to remove safely without damaging it. It’s great to be a patient of professionals, who have the time and the care to do an excellent job.

Gentle Dental Is Open in Wakefield!!!!!What a blessing it is,to find the right Dentist for your kids and adults. Ive had bad experiences with dentist in the past and traumatized. I explained to Tenzin,Dr.Amin,Dee that Ive been traumatized is the past with needles. I had to get my teeth cleaned and scaling twice. Tenzin was very gentle and professional with the anesthesia she took her time. I didnt feel no pain threw the scalling process I had no fear just really relaxed. When I went back for my second scalling I was looking forward to go to the dentist and humble. My teeth and gums are feeling clean and complete, happy satisfied with their work. My appointment would start with a warm greeting from Sheela, my dental technician. One of the nicest persons I ever met. She made the whole process so easy. Working together with DMD Amin. I cant say enough good things about the staff and quality of care I have received since beginning treatment at Gentle Dental Wakefield. I started going about a month ago after persistent dental issues had gotten so bad I could no longer ignore them but severe anxiety kept from taking any action. When I was finally able to work up the nerve to go in, I explained my issues and emphasized how nervous I was. The staff was amazing from the beginning and continues to provide me with top care treatment and service every time I show up. Dee and Jessie at the front desk have gone above and beyond in helping me figure out my payment options and insurance issues and always greet me with a smile when I walk in. My latest appointment was with Sheela and Dr. Amin for a temporary crown and it was one of the most pleasant experiences Ive ever had at a dentist. Theyre nice, gentle, funny and friendly, and perhaps most importantly: they do incredible work! This review is for all the people who, like myself, fear the dentist. I did not go to the dentist for 20 years. As a result I found myself in pain every day and I finally decided to get my teeth fixed. If this sounds like you, call and make an appointment. You will not regret it. I had a consultation at Gentle Dental Wakefield with Dr. Gupta. She put me at ease immediately and after an examination and a cleaning a treatment plan was put together for me. A few hours ago I got home from phase one of my treatment. I walked into the office terrified. I was having 4 teeth extracted that were decayed beyond saving. Dr. Colon was the oral surgeon who performed my surgery. After I was good and numb he got started. He did a deep cleaning on the good teeth on my left side where the extractions were being done. When he told me the first tooth was out, I couldnt believe it. 30 minutes later and with very little discomfort my 4 extractions were done. My fear of the dentist is GONE. I should have called the pros years ago. Looking forward to my new smile and enjoying some of my favorite foods that I havent eaten in years. Ill update this review after my next appointment where I will be having more deep cleaning done and a few extra teeth removed (supernumerary teeth) that grew behind my adult teeth in a double row. Finished up my extractions. 2 supernumerary teeth I grew out of nowhere and 2 that were beyond saving. Again, Dr Colon was great. Like I said, Im taking the time to write for people like me who fear the dentist. In graphic detail Im going to describe my experience having 4 teeth extracted by this guy. He numbed the areas where the local anesthetic was to be used. I barely felt the needle. A little pressure, thats it. He took off for little bit when he came back he made sure I was numb... heres a little more for the bottom. I closed my eyes and he got to work. In way to short a time he said the first one is out. I thought he was working on the second when he said one more left. The fourth was a wisdom tooth and it took a few minutes, lol, didnt feel it . A little pressure and I could feel the back and forth motion, but not pain. Joanne was on point assisting Dr Colon. Worth it. I actually walked in completely relaxed this time. I had full confidence in my doctor walking in the door. Sarah, Joanne, Dr. Colon.... thank you. You guys really care and it shows.

Everyone was very attentive. I was treated by Sheela and Dr. Saheef and they took very good care of me. Place is clean, and they are very flexible with appointments. Having weekends and late week nights appointments is definitely a plus.

I never write reviews but when you get experiences like this, you want to share with others. I am very disappointing with the service. This was my first time using them. I requested an appointment online and also asked them to make sure they took my insurance. I got a late response from two people since one of them did not work there anymore. I was confirmed by email and phone call that they took my insurance and i was fine going for the appointment. I went a few time for different appointments and each time i was confirmed that my insurance was fine and the Dentist was in network. They gave me an estimate each time and i paid the difference. When i was done with my services i got a bill at home that i had to pay a lot of money. I called and the lady on the phone (very rude and unprofessional) told me that the dentist was not in network and i have to pay the difference. We are not talking about a few $. I was very upset and stressed because this is not what they told me each time i went to an appointment. i was confirmed each time that i was fine. Im not sure if they dont know what their doing or they are doing it on purpose. But im sure of something, i will never go at that location again and i will not recommend it to anyone that has more that just a cleaning appointment.

All I can say is if a place can get me in for a root canal and perform at such a level of excellence and ease with the end result of myself leaving with a positive feeling...A+ in my book!

Asmaa exercised great care during my visit. She gave me safety goggles so flecks of toothpaste wouldnt fly into my eye. She used the plaque scraper in a way that was effective and painless. She answered my questions on periodontal disease.

I have a lot of anxiety about getting dental work done, so I searched and read and searched and read many testimonials from many different dentists and eventually went to Gentle dental few weeks back. Everyone in staff is very friendly & courteous. I went in pain and had an exam done by Dr. Amin who I think was aware that I had anxiety, & put me at ease throughout. I feel like Ive found my new dentist here and will be going back.

While in the area I had an emergency and had to see a dentist. Googled for dentists and ended up here. I was really worried since Id not been to a dentist in quite a few years. However, they were gentle as they claim :) informative, helpful, got the job done and really nice. Maybe its my insurance, but for dentists, they are affordable, too. Saved my vacation plans as well. I had a very unpleasant experience with Gental Dental in Wakefield. They dd not make me feel comfortable. I am assured it is because of my skin color. The front desk lady (Serrina) treated me very bad. She wouldnt even look into my eye when i had questions on my cleaning.They had me wait in the waiting room for ever with no services saying the file wasnt loading and when i went to talk to front desk, Serrina she wouldnt care to talk or make eye contact.My 6 yr old could figure out how disappointed I was with the service and asked me if I was ok.I had send in my Xrays before scheduling appointment and ON the appointment day they mention the Xray is old and that i would have to pay $57 for new patient special for new Xrays. They had me leave without any services done. So rude and disappointing.Definitely would not be recommending anyone to Gentle Dental.

I recently saw Dr. Amin and her hygienist Bri couple of times so far; first for consultation, x-rays and cleaning, and later for fillings. The doctor was very warm, welcoming and patiently answered all my anxious questions. The facility is fairly clean and front desk was no-nonsense and accommodating. I do not have dental insurance, and the prices are probably as expensive as you will find in Wakefield, but overall for me it has been well worth the cost.

Experience was not good. Told assistant had to use collar to cover thyroid before taking xray, took xray anyway without collar. Permanent crown didnt fit right fell off shortly after being put in and had to be cemented on again. Questionable on sterility as instruments were just laying out open air not covered and not sure how one can assume they werent already used. Dental assistants seemed disorganized.

FYI - I’m writing this review on behalf of my ma, who insisted I do so. Mum’s 75 and has been visiting Gentle Dental, Wakefield for past couple of years now. She recently got her root canal done here and has been extremely pleased with the results.Every visit she saw Dr. Amin, who has been very personable, caring and straightforward with explanation of what she was doing. She not only gave tips on what to do in the future, but also explained why. Ma feels she has learned many a new things about maintaining her dental health! On couple of instances Dr. Amin even called her as a follow-up after major dental work to make sure everything was ok. In her book, thats above and beyond any other dentist she’s ever had.The staff here is amazing too! They are friendly, professional and efficient. All of the appointments have always been on time. This is ma’s dental clinic of choice for the foreseeable future and she cant recommend it strongly enough.And obviously, now she insists I switch my dentist as well! :)

The woman at the front desk by the name of Suelen acknowledged me immediately, was very friendly, informative, and made me feel at ease. Dr. Ciancarelli did a remarkable job! I would highly recommend Gentle Dental of Wakefield to anyone who is searching for a new dental home.

Gentle Dental is a great place if you are looking for the best treatment. I had 8 cavities and had half of them done at a different place, they did a really bad job so I picked Gentle Dental to do the rest of the fillings. The front desk were friendly and answers any questions I have. Dr Amin and her assistant did a very nice job filling my other cavities (which didnt hurt at all and shes always checking if I was doing ok).Then I went back to them had my wisdom teeth taken out. I went to consult with Dr Robert and he explained the treatment plan in detail and the risks of wisdom tooth extraction which is reassuring because oral surgery is quite scary. The surgery went very well. I went back for following up and they made sure I was recovering ok. Im very happy with all the work theyve done. This is the best dental clinic!

Dr. Amin and the staff at Gentle Dentle in Wakefield are great. They have flexible scheduling and quick service. I used to hate going to the dentist before Dr. Amin, but now Im looking forward to going back!
