SHe did a great job fixing the mistake person did in NY. I am having her do my nipple tattoos & my eyebrows in the near future I will be going to other location when she moves to her other location. I felt really comfortable with Lisa, she asked how was feeling as she was doing my eyeliner. Pictures are day after & I am beyond happy. I absolutely loved this spa as soon as I walked in! The atmosphere is tranquil and so relaxing. As we were signing in, we waited in a gorgeous cozy room. They had fresh hot tea, and comfortable seating. There was peaceful music playing throughout the whole spa. Lisa took me back and showed me the color options for the new Henna Brows. I chose a nice dark brown. She explained he whole process to me, it was quick and painless. I was so comfortable during the whole process, and now I have gorgeous brows! I absolutely love them, and I would definitely get them done again! Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! After receiving a gift certificate from a friend I had a good facial here. There was a $104 balance on that gift certificate which I had forgotten about.. When I moved out of the area I found the gift certificate and called to see if a friend could use it. They informed me that not only are they not transferable, but that the certificate was no longer valid. Granted it was awhile, over a year from the first use. I was receiving emails from them regarding all their promotions and deals going on...Never one that my gift certificate was due to expire. I must have missed that one. this is a cheap way to take money from customers you are trying to keep..shame on you.

This place is awesome! Its like a piece of heaven! The atmosphere is very relaxing and everyone is super nice. Ive had a few facials and she spent the time explaining to me different things that can make my skin better. She truly listened and my skin is looking better than ever! Its the best hour ever and I wish it could last forever!! The Skin Spa is also reasonably priced and worth it! I cant wait until my next appointment. For Valentines Day my husband got me a gift card for a 50 minute deep tissue massage and a 50 minute facial. The Skin Spa of Wake Forest did a great job of making feel special and cozy the whole time. It started with Jessica who listened to my specific problem areas and did a great job rubbing them out! Then I was given a plush robe to hang out in while I wait for my next treatment in their lounge (which was kept nice, clean, and warm and was given water to drink). Then I met with Jennifer who gave me an awesome European facial (my first ever). Jennifer took time to evaluate my skin and determine which treatments would be best for me. She also gave me great advice on what to do to help my skin to continue looking fresh and young. The whole staff was very warm and friendly and made this experience very relaxing!!! Im not really a spa guy, but my wife bought us a message and facial package for our 15th anniversary. We finally got around to using it this week. I was very impressed and enjoyed the entire experience. The place is small enough that you get individual attention. The waiting lounge is comfortable and refreshments are provided. The services themselves were expertly delivered, with just the right attention to detail and comfort.

Lisa was wonderful! I was super anxious about getting my eyebrows microbladed for the first time but immediately upon meeting Lisa I started to feel at ease. She makes it as painfree as possible and is easy to talk to about personal preferences. The final result is better than I had imagined!! Would definitely recommend her to anyone who has considered getting their brows done and wants to wake up with beautiful natural brows! So excited to not have to fill them in daily!!

I had a total relaxation experience today. The Skin Spa was amazing!! My massage was just perfect. The right amount of pressure in just the right spots. I also had a facial. It just about put me to sleep. My skin feels baby soft. This was my first time getting a body wrap ever. I didnt know what to expect, but it was great. She explained what she was doing every step of the way. My whole body feels amazing. I will be going back there for sure.

I have had 8-10 massages this year and 4+ facials. This facility is the very best Wake Forest and North Raleigh has to offer. The client is truly most valued here. You really need to know they offer so many services....not just massages and facials. This is THE place. You have to try them.

I love to come here to relax very nice staff the Building is very clean the only thing I dont like is that you pay for a certain amount of time and the sessions never last for the length of time you paid for so if you request a session that is lets say $75 dollars for 50 minutes at 3 o clock they will come get you at 3:05 or 3:10 then you will change out of your cloths then after a few minutes they will come back by then its probably 3:15 or a couple minutes after so then the person will start and it might last 35 minutes if your lucky.

It was very relaxing. I almost fell asleep during my facial. Jana did an excellent job, she was very personable. My face feels and looks much younger. I will be coming back. A very relaxing atmosphere.

Nice patient people but this place is so dirty, atleast the room for microblading was oh my! They left the door open for my appointment and I was baffled the girl doing my brows and the reception were yelling back and forth if she could do a wax. My eyebrows came out with 1 higher than the other omg; it wasn’t even on my hair line. I won’t be returning for my touch up.

As a mother of three boys under the age of 10, I needed a relaxing massage and facial. When I walked in I was greeted, taken to the relaxation room, and fixed tea. The relaxation room was quiet, clean, and inviting. I was taken back for my facial and it was wonderful!!! She used the right pressure and the soap, mask, and moisturizer smelled wonderful. It was just what I needed. Then I went in for the massage. The stress was worked out of my muscles. I left the massage room so much lighter and relaxed. I love coming to the Skin Spa. I would recommend their services to anyone!!

I paid a lot of money for one of the facial and body massage packages for 2 full hours. The facial was first and it was great, she called me back right on the dot and it lasted pretty close to an hour. But I was disappointed with the body massage. She called me back 10 minutes after, then with the consultation and getting undressed, it took another 10 minutes or so and the massage itself was not even 30 minutes. Close to, but...I thought it was supposed to be almost an hour...I was not very happy when I left.

Such a warm and inviting atmosphere. My esthetician was gentle and calming and it was such a treat just being there and being pampered. The pedicure was also fun and my toes still look great a few weeks later!! Loved every minute of it. Highly recommend

Ive had very good luck getting scheduled at the last minute for massages on two occasions. The pressure of deep tissue massage was not therapeutic but was relaxing. I wish I would have requested a Swedish massage with aromatherapy and saved a few bucks.Also, doing a fair amount of weightlifting, I asked that he concentrate on my back which he did well albeit not deep tissue therapy. However, the time spent on my legs and arms did not include any work on my quads, hamstrings, or biceps. Almost felt like he was uncomfortable getting too close to the sheet. Sort of odd.

My wife had given me a facial as a just because present to The Skin Spa of Wake Forest. I had only had one in my life and was honestly a little hesitant. When I arrived I felt relieved as the staff was warm and welcoming. After the initial paperwork was completed I was taken to the treatment room and I was so relaxed. I never knew a facial could feel that therapuetic. She took her time and used various scrubs and lotions as well as hot towels. Then at one point she started with my pimples and it was not the most relaxing part of the facial but definitely needed. After I went home and my skin was looking great. I told my wife how great my experience was and told her if you get me another facial I would like to go back to the Skin Spa.

I was given the express facial as a gift....and it was really express! My face washed,masked in like less 30 minutes....I paid a little extra for blackhead removal but they really werent all removed. I was not impress with what I received...I will not be going back.

OK, I admit it, I am a facial junkie. For over thirty years, I have had a facial, on average, every other week. Seriously. I have been to some of the finest spas in the US and beyond. None have been better or more relaxing than the facials I have received at The Skin Spa. Each facial is customized to the particular concern my skin is currently exhibiting--whether it be dry from too much sun, hormonal fluctuations, or clogged pores from too many have to wear make up days that week. The product selection is excellent, and most importantly, even though many of the products are The Skin Spas private label, there is NO HARD SELL! In fact, the owner always makes herself available to answer my skin care questions, including reviewing the ingredients on various products (Skinceuticals, Boscia, Eminence, etc.) that I am interested in trying and advising me as to whether they are right for my skin type.In addition to my bi-weekly facials, I get the usual tinting, waxing, and an occasional massage. The treatments are always exceptional. (I could go on and on about the deep tissue massages, but then you will think that all I do is pamper myself--I really do have a job!)In addition to being highly competent, the staff is very helpful, engaging, and customer focused. I highly recommend this spa.

Ive gone to the Skin Spa several time for massages, skin treatments and head to toe pampering. The service is always friendly and very knowledgeable. I have a tendency to breakout, so having an aesthetician that can analyze my skin and adjust my facial to meet the specific needs of my skin is a great relief. Ive never had a breakout after a treatment and truthfully I can walk out right after my treatment with no makeup and not worry about having a red, blotchy, irritated face.Next thing on my list is to go in a try the pregnancy massage!

I desperately wanted a facial for extractions because my pores and blackheads (mainly on my nose) were getting out of control. The reservation process was quick and pleasant. The receptionist was very patient with all my questions and I was able to book an appointment the day of. I decided to order the European Facial ($65) because it includes a full on extraction session.As I walked into the Skin Spa of Wake Forest, I was taken aback by how compact and dark it was. It looked like there were 2-3 rooms and the lights were very dim - Im guessing to help customers relax. After checking in, I was led into a small waiting room, across from the receptionist table, filled with chic southern decor and furniture. Water was offered and not soon afterwards my esthetician greeted me and showed me my room.I was asked to take off my shirt because the European Facial includes a neck massage. For those who are unfamiliar with getting facials or a little conscious of taking clothes off in front of other people, dont worry. Your esthetician leaves the room while you take off your shirt and lower your bra straps (so nothing is blocking your shoulders for the massage). You are then expected to lay under the covers and relax. The covers were extremely comfortable and clean, and the room was very relaxing.The European Facial includes everything that is listed on the website and is your basic full-on facial. It includes cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage, extraction, neck and shoulder massage, and hydrating hand treatment. The hand treatment is very interesting because they wrap your hands up in a plastic bag and place them inside heated gloves. My esthetician was very pleasant to talk with and the whole process felt very relaxing.Before I give my review of the actual facial, I want to tell you more of what I was expecting. This is the second time I have ever gotten a facial. My first time was at a very very fancy spa in Shanghai. I dont remember how much I paid for the facial, but it was basically the European Facial. There are however a few key differences between my spa experience in Shanghai (SH) and at the Skin Spa of Wake Forest (WF).1) In SH, my esthetician had the steamer on while she was extracting my blackheads with extraction tools. As a result, she did a VERY thorough job with the removal, but went a little too far on one section which was a little bruised.In WF, my esthetician had the steamer on while she was cleaning and exfoliating, but turned off the steam a little before extracting my blackheads. Im not an expert, but I think having the steamer on makes the extraction process better? She also used her fingers rather than tools.Overall, I felt my extraction experience in SH was more thorough, but my WF extraction process was gentler.2) In SH, I left the facial with my face glowing and skin feeling soft FOR WEEKS after leaving. In WF, I didnt see of feel that glow and softness.Overall, I think the Skin Spa of Wake Forest is not a bad place to go for a facial, but it is a little overpriced for the services it gives you. I recommend going on GroupOn and seeing if they have any deals before going. I also think they can use higher quality products and spend more time on the facial, specifically the massage portion.Lastly, for first timers, dont forget that you should leave at least a 15% tip for your esthetician!

When moving from NJ down to NC, I was searching and had tried a couple of spas in raleigh but come to realize that they were just too far from heritage. Thats when I discovered the Skin Spa of Wake Forest. I called and they got me in on the same day for a waxing service. I was more than pleased with the customer service as well as the professional waxing that I had received. Since then I have been back for facials (that by the way are out of this world) and deep tissue massages.They also made it very affordable to treat myself to a monthly spa treatment.

I went in for a microdermabrasion facial and an hour massage. The massage was first, I was taken to the room on time, but by the time the consult was over and I was done changing 15min hac passed by (the consult was only 3min....). My 1hr massage was only 30-35min long if that. The massage therapist did a good job at paying special attention to my problem areas, but I was disappointed at the fact that it was so short. When we were done, she told me to change and go back to the relaxation room... never saw her again... maybe its just me being picky but, Im used to them talking to you after, giving you suggestions on what to do to ease the tension or relaxation tips.... something since it was so short! As I waited the esthetician came hot me, didnt really do a consult... it was my first time getting a microdermabrasion done so I wanted to know the process. She explained it an left the room so I could get ready. Once she started it was great! Except that the room was so small, she kept jumping over her equipment and had to leave the room 3-4 times because she was out of what she needed. Once she was done, she literallySaid ok your done and left. Never saw her again. No suggestions, no info on the product she used.... nothing. Overall, the experience was ok, but I dont think I will go back.

I bought a groupon for The Skin Spa. I figured it was a good way to try the place out for the first time. Except - for a month I tried unsuccessfully to book an appointment. (Maybe I should never have mentioned I had a Groupon.) When it came to crunch time - the last week before the Groupon expired, they were downright rude and told me Id just have to use it at face value after it expired.Never again.

The beauty of Groupon is discovering new places and thank goodness I had purchased a Groupon for The Skin Spa of Wake Forest. I had a deep tissue massage with Stephanie and it was absolutely one of the best massages Ive ever had. I have had multiple massages at different spas in the Triangle area and on various vacations and she outdid all but one of them (and that was a close tie). The Just Neem mask used during my facial was so great, I bought a jar on my way out (and I usually never buy products afterwards). All staff members were courteous, kind, and knowledgeable.
