Cindy was incredible helping us find our first home! We were looking for a fixer-upper and she understood our vision and helped us find the perfect fit. We loved the entire process and couldn’t have been happier with the person who helped us through it. Thanks Cindy!
I will start with the very few good things we experienced with this company. We are property owners, as well as renters (with another agency). When we first started the process after renting out our home, they made time to show us houses for us to move in to on very short notice, they were very accommodating. Contact with anyone throughout our experience was professional when it was received. Our continued relationship went downhill from there. Most payments were received late, at the end of the month, without any explanation. Emails were answered but very cryptic WHEN they were answered, many times they were not, without several follow up emails. We did not find out our renters never re-signed the lease agreement after their lease was up, until 6 months later (they were staying month-to-month) when we spoke to the renters at a walk-through.This was our first time dealing with a rental agency and have since decided to do it on our own and save ourselves money spent for nothing. We would never recommend this company.
We rented a property managed by Wake Residential Rentals. During our time there, we didnt make many requests, but when we did it was clear from the tone and slow response time that we were bothering them. When we moved out, the automatic billing system charged us for the next month. I was (rudely) told that this had happened with other tenants and the best way to reverse the charge was to request a stop payment with my bank. Instead of fixing a recurring problem or warning tenants about it, Wake Residentials solution was to keep letting it happen, leaving tenants with a bank fee as their final impression of the rental company. We felt Wake Residential was a company staffed by people who just did not care. We couldnt help feeling that everything would have been much easier if we could have dealt directly with the owner without the middleman. There are probably worse rental companies out there, but we would never rent with them again.
I just left my rental home and moved to a new town. Wake Residential was great to have as a landlord. I lived in a home owned by another person and Wake Residential was a great middle man between me and the owner. They immediately addressed any repairs issues with the home and replied back to any general emails or calls within 24 hours. One thing I liked is that Wake Residential never intruded into my life........no walk through....no check up phone calls......no drive bys......they just let us live and I am thankful for it. It was also nice to know that the people you deal with...are the owners of the company. Paying rent and entering repair requests can all be done online too. Awesome!
I used them to rent my house, horrible experience. Be cautious, you get trapped and it’s hard to get out. House was left in bad shape, no proactive management or overseeing of the property. Every time I inquired, Cindy assured me she had been by and everything was in good shape. Renters told me she never came by. For the fee I paid every month, the property should have been looked after. Expensive fee to collect the rent, and being paid to me in a very inconsistent manner.
Worst Rental Agency I have every Dealt with. I wish I could give this rating NO STARS. I moved into a beautiful rental in Wake Forest, and throught we had found a gem. From the month we moved in, we started having trouble with the rental agency repairing things that were broken when we moved in, as well as broke right after we moved in. Everything we complained about was deemed a non-emergency and we had to wait up to two weeks to get anything fixed - even a toilet that wouldnt flush. I finally lost my patience and yelled until I got a repair guy here with a $10 part. Then the well water started smelling bad and tasting bad in November 2014. I sent in a order to have it looked at which was ignored. I finally got in touch with the property owner directly who agreed that the rental agency had very poor communication skills and he was not aware of the problem. He changed the water heater, put a sulfur filter on the well, which did nothing. Then one day the rental agent Cindy came to the house and proclaimed the water fine, it only smelled in one shower (untrue) and that we should activate the salt filter to get the bad taste out of the water, among other platitudes and outright lies. I contacted a professional plumber (who happens to be my client) who told me to move out and that Cindy was lying and full of it.Do not do business with this company, they have complaints against them for a reason and will take your money and do nothing but lie to you. I am looking for a new place to live, and we are sick from the water, heed my warning!!!!!
I currently rent from this firm and I have had the worse experience with them! They dont want to replace items that are not up to par. They do not call/respond to emails in a timely manner. Yet alone answer the phone when you call. There have been maintenance issue for the last 5 months that have yet to be fixed. Its ridiculous that you pay rent each month and they do not take care of theirs residents. If your looking for a place to rent go somewhere else with a company that wants to provide good customer service and a comfortable place for your family to live.
Cindy and her crew are great to work with. I will continue to use them for all of my future needs.
These folks do a WONDERFUL Job at locating quality rentals.
