Worked in this space for about a year amid COVID and have nothing negative to say. Kathy and team were great and very accommodating! Space was perfect and affordable, location was also very nice for lunch or coffee. Will definitely be back for more co-working at some point soon!
Great work environment.Really supportive staff.24 x 7.Affordable. Value for Money. To add cherry on the Cake they have excellent free amenities like Coffee, chips, chocolates, etc.
Ive been working remotely from Hatch over a year and half now, and its been absolutely wonderful. I cant say enough about what a great space it is, and how wonderful Kathy and her team have been. Theyre always very accommodating and helpful with whatever special circumstances you might have. The rates are incredibly reasonable, especially for the location. Its right in downtown Wake Forest, near anything you might need. The building itself is very charming and well decorated as well, with a good mix of startup vibes, along with old school elements. I recommend it to everyone I come across that needs a similar working or studying situation.
Ive been a happy Hatchling for a couple years. The office is perfect for what I need - a semi-private, dedicated desk with 24 hour access. The staff is top notch.Doesnt hurt that there are several options for food and coffee within walking distance!
Great business offices! Even if you have a home-based business you sometimes need a professional place to meet someone, do a presentation, or hold a meeting or project. Hatch can be that great place! We hold a small group meeting here monthly and have plenty room for a mini-training session.Need a small office ongoing? They have that covered too!
Ive worked at Hatch for the last 2 years. Its a great environment with friendly people in the heart of downtown Wake Forest.
Finishing my first week here and it is great! I have access whenever I need it, and I can work some odd hours.Aside from the space itself, I like being in the WF downtown. This is way better than working at home for me.I use the shared space. As with any open work environment a good set of noise canceling headphones is advised. For the price, I am super happy!
As I write this, Ive only rented a dedicated desk for a couple of weeks but I already love it. The environment is very conducive to working, very professional, visually appealing, quiet, and conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants, a pharmacy, etc. The AC works great, there are several bathrooms, access to a printer, snacks, coffee, water, a very nice sitting area, and a large conference room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the internet is very fast. I highly recommend this if youre looking to an alternative to your home office.
When I couldn’t handle working from home anymore, Hatch was my salvation for nearly a year. My company is opening an office locally, so I will be there now instead, but I loved working at Hatch. Everyone was friendly, and the the work space was very comfortable. I will miss it!
Being at Hatch for almost 4 months now, there hasn’t been a day that I haven’t felt lucky to be a part of it. Popular opinion: Kathy is the best. There’s always coffee and the members are so helpful and kind. I love being able to take a 2 min walk to my favorite shops, restaurants, and cafes. My favorite part about Hatch is the space. No, the building is not new, it’s historic which means it has life and character (which I much prefer). Liz and Kathy have done a beautiful job of honoring the time of the building while giving it modern comforts. I wish I knew about this place sooner!
Best word to describe Hatch is leaky. We moved to a larger private office inside the building that had previously suffered water damage in one corner of the room. No significant repairs have been made to the space. That was over a year ago.The downstairs kitchen/common space area is constantly leaking. Towels lining the walls have become part of the room decor. And the walls are covered with a gross brown water stain.During Florence, a couple rooms had parts of their ceilings cave in from water damage (although I know one of the tenants reported water damage before their ceilings tile collapsed in). Its been about a month now and there have been no efforts to fix the issues in our offices.Heating and Air is terrible. The rooms get really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. My employer had to purchase several portable ac units to keep the place cool. This not a nice place to conduct business in.
Hatch is such a fantastic space nestled in downtown Wake Forest. The accommodations offer different options to suit your needs. Highly recommend if you are mobile/home office!
I spent several months at Hatch working on a solo software project, and my productivity jumped compared to working at home, the library, a coffee shop, or any of the other places I tried. Hatch provides a quiet, cosy, distraction-free place where one can focus and get things done. The staff is wonderful, very attentive and professional. My co-Co-workers were also very friendly. They were working on a variety of projects and jobs, which make Hatch a unique networking opportunity to meet people you might not normally spend time with. Lastly, downtown Wake Forest offers a lot within walking distance, so taking care of errands or just taking a break from working and exploring are easily to do. Id strongly recommend Hatch to anyone who is working on their own and looking to try a new setting.
The Pope Conference Room is a great meeting space. Its wonderful to have this affordable and convenient space right in downtown Wake Forest. Thanks, Kathy, for making it so easy to reserve!
I spent a few months at Hatch while I was finalizing my home office. It was a welcoming environment with great coworking members. Very competitive membership rates as well.
I give Hatch Co-working Office my highest recommendation. This is by far the best place to go and get work done filled with a nice and caring owner. I recommended Hatch over and over again. Hatch, you deserve the best clients!
I have been in the building for some time now and during my stay two ceilings have collapsed revealing mold growth. The roof has had issues for the entirety of my stay and the owners have yet to fix the issues. I have seen leaks from the roof create puddles in main work area which often leads to a dank work space. Marks can be seen on walls where water has come through. In addition there are visible signs of water damage on the ceilings in many rooms. There have also been issues with breakers tripping causing computers to crash resulting in lost work. Had a faulty electrical outlet melt a plug which created a horrid smell.Overall I would not recommend using this work space.
The Hatch Coworking Office in Downtown Wake Forest offers incredible value in an amazing location. My office suite is awesome and all the coworkers are great! Great coworking space for businesses.
A beautiful and professional asheville co-working space for any entrepreneur or business owner to work from. Quiet, natural light, private offices, conference room, and even a small kitchen with coffee on hand! I highly recommend this coworking space for anyone working on the go.
:: ROOF & WINDOW LEAKS, ELECTRICAL ISSUES, TERRIBLE MAINTENANCE ::- Roof Leaks - the roof is bad and leaks in multiple offices, and in a few rooms the ceilings have collapsed- Window Leaks - windows leak water, some places you could fit fingers through holes to the outside- Wall Leaks - some of the walls leak water, causing gross stains, mold, and various types of water damage.- Bad Repairs - parts of the roof were flying off, so they “repaired” it by putting paver stones on top to keep the roof together. But they didn’t seal any of the cracks or holes.- Hot & Cold - heating and cooling is terrible, so in the summer it was above 90, and in winter it was below 60. Be prepared to bring AC units and heaters- Electrical Issues - one outlet got so hot it melted plastic. Wiring is so old that the breakers trip and you lose power, and some of the lights don’t work. And they tried to make us pay for the repairs.- Terrible Maintenance - multiple tenants have reported leaks and water damage, but the landlord did not repair them properly, promptly, or at all. In one case, the ceiling eventually collapsed with tons of mold inside.- Damages - although the landlord admits the building leaks and has problems, he refuses to take responsibility for any damage to tenant property. They also didn’t warn some of the tenants of the buildings problems and poor repairs prior to moving in.- Terrible Reputation - after talking with several tenants, I’ve learned the landlord has a terrible reputation for not maintaining his buildings to a satisfactory level. Multiple people from different buildings have REPEATEDLY experienced leaks, mold, and water damage.
Great environment and location. I highly recommend.
Awesome space. Great location. Professional atmosphere.
Great space to sit and buckle down to work.
Great place to work!
I was very disappointed in the space.
Noisy environment, but space is cheap.
