This place is great! Charles and his team have fantastic programs for kids. When we started our 3.5 year old son, I didn’t know what to expect. He quickly adapted to the classes and now loves going. Our 2 year old son loves watching and will start as well as soon as he turns 3. Innovative Martial arts also hosted their birthday parties. The kids had a blast doing different activities throughout the birthday party. Can’t say enough good things about this place, and what they teach!

IMAA is a great karate dojo in Wake Forest. They have helped my 4 year old daughter focus, learn self respect, and learn to love being active while teaching the basics of being a lilninja. The owner is former military and really cares for the development of the kids in the class.The pricing is great as well as we can go to an unlimited number of classes per week for the same price that other dojos are charging for 1 class per week.

Innovative Martial Arts Academy (IMAA) is the best place to take martial arts. Charles Falk, the owner, and his staff do a great job teaching martial arts to the students and teaching each student to be confident and disciplined. My son has been with IMAA for eight years - he has earned one black belt and is working on his second. :)

Charles is excellent working with kids, communicating with them and motivating them, Charles and the team teach strong values and set an excellent example.

Great school with wonderful teachers. My daughter has a great time learning and everyone is friendly. There is even an adult class that allowed me to try to see if I liked it and everyone was very patient with me. I am thankful to have my daughter be a part of the Innovative Martial Arts Academy in Wake Forest and know she is benefiting from it in more than one way. It amazes me how fast she is learning and how hard she is trying. They have her trying to develop at her fullest with her mind, body, and spirit. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in martial arts.

Not only are the staff amazing, but there is a mix of fun and learning in the curriculum. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this school. She has learned respect and many other aspects making her more focused and well behaved. I definitely recommend this school for you or your child.

Wonderful place for not only skill development but also personal development. Owner and instructors genuinely get to know students and families and care about them. The lessons learned will provide character growth as well as martial art skills. The owner is also a long time student of many different martial arts, he didnt just buy a franchise, and tries very hard to live what he teaches the students. Proud to have been in this dojo family for 6+ years and proud of the friendships we have made there!

My son has adhd as well as some other issues. He has been having a really ROUGH time in school. My husband brought him here after having to pick him up early one day and decided to sign him up for classes. I was hesitant because I didnt want it to seem like we were rewarding him, but after having him in classes here for the last couple weeks, the change we have seen is astonishing. He is doing better in school, his therapist and psychiatrist both agreed this was a great idea. The teachers here are AWESOME! I would strongly recommend them to anyone. And another bonus it helps him fall asleep at night and stay asleep!So I want to do an update. My son has now been coming here for almost a year. He has really changed in school. We dont have any of the problems we used to have and I know that this has a lot to do with IMAA. At the beginning of the school year I had asked Sensei Charles to talk with him and whatever he said I think really made an impact. I love this place and everyone who works there is awesome!

Weve enjoyed watching our kids grow and learn here. Senior instructors are great and the student instructors are very mature but relatable to the kids.

I enjoyed the training that I received at Innovative martial arts, the Dojo is very nice and really like all the instructors. The kids that come there seem to really enjoy the classes, and in talking with the parents there they seem very happy as well. Highly recommended!

We have had two children go through the program at IMAA. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The dojo balances serious martial arts with a warm, family-like atmosphere in which all children are known and related to individually. Wed never go anywhere else. If youre thinking about martial arts, come to IMAA!

I have been attending adult aikido classes at Innovative for nearly two years, and most of my local family members have taken classes there as well. We think very highly of the school, Sensei Falk, the employees, volunteers and other participants. Great, enthusiastic group of folks!

Innovative Martial Arts is a fabulous school! It has been far more then we expected for karate lessons for our 5 year old! He is learning so much and is always excited to go to lessons!

My son attends IMAA and loves it. The teachers are wonderful and work so well with the kids. We just had his 6th birthday party there as well and all of the kids (and parents) had a blast!

This school changed my childhood for the better. If I hadn’t learned the disciplines and lessons from Sensei Falk and his amazing staff I wouldn’t have just graduated high school or been accepted into my dream university. Thank you Sensei Falk and thank you Innovative Martial Arts Academy.

Not good with children...karate is an extra curricular sport!! The teachers take this way too seriously and actually made my child cry when she came off the mat to get her asthma inhaler!!! REALLYYY!!! Get over it!! The contracts are like indentured servitude!! DO NOT SIGN ONE!!!

Dont sign a contract with these folks! You will be in debt to them for a long time. For what you get, its waaay too expensive!! You will be stuck with no way out. This was a horrible experience!
