I can NOT say enough GOOD things about Brooks and the rest of the staff at this store! They are ALWAYS friendly, always helpful and are always going out of their way to make sure I have everything I need before leaving the store. They make Amazon returns very easy (but remember they make no money off this…so buy something before you leave to help a small business that is privately owned). I send my clients their to get things notarized with a friendly reminder to MAKE an APPOINTMENT. No matter what is going on, they are professional and friendly. For those of you going into stores in this Covid world we live in…remember everyone is short staffed. Be patient, be kind and be grateful these kinds of businesses are open! We need them!
Thank you Brooks!I don’t understand why there are so many negative comments towards this location. I came in today looking to get a print job done and Brooks was beyond helpful and respectful to me. I have had nothing be great experiences while coming inside this store. The staff is very respectful and always willing to help take care of anything that I need help with. Thank you again Brooks. You are AWESOME
The manager at this store is surprisingly rude, condescending, and lacking in common courtesy. As someone who has worked in customer service extensively and with small business owners, I’m amazed. We will not be patronizing this UPS store again.I would like to be clear that at no point during our two disappointing experiences, did we take issue with the policies, challenge them, or request any staff member to break policy. We understood and complied with the policies without argument. It was the unnecessarily combative interactions that left us wide-eyed.
This UPS Store is outstanding!! The workers are extremely patient and helpful!! I had an Amazon return and they are sometimes very annoying, but with the help of the workers here it is very relaxed! Thank you to all of you for what you do!!
I just walked in to get something notarized and was going to use your services to mail it out. There was only ONE customer in the store and was rudely told that a notary is done by appointment only. I asked what time the next appointment was and a guy named “Brooks” slams the book on the counter and rudely tells me that it’ll be 2:30 after acting like i was bothering him. I walked out in amazement and started replaying what had just happened in my head. So I went back in and questioned the employee to customer ratio. I figured that I’d be told that I could be next in line. Nope! The rudeness went to a whole new level, so I asked for the manager and was told by “Brooks” that he was the manager. I then asked for the owners number. He refused to give me anything. When I asked his name all he would say was Brooks. I come here often with Amazon returns and all of my shipping needs. I don’t think that I’ll be returning. I’d love to hear from the actual owner. This was ridiculous. Looking through the reviews, I’d say that you have a problem in your manager on your hands.
I just left and feel like I just got taken advantage of. I brought in some Amazon returns and after the sales clerk checked me out he then told me he would have to charge me for tape because they weren’t taped up on top. When I asked why he didn’t tell me before he said that he was afraid I would walk out… It’s very off putting they charged me without telling me at the beginning. Sounds like this is a common practice looking at the other comments. Will not return to this location. The point is they were not upfront that I was going to be charged- not that I was charged for tape. I understand it’s a business but don’t be shady. They didn’t give me a chance to provide my own tape.
If I wanted lousy service and a surprising gotcha Id use USPS. Walked in with an account code. Nope not good enough (I was told brusquely by a manager-dude who acted like hed rather be anywhere but helping me). I gotta go to a hub for this. Not in-plan this morning, Ill pay for it out of pocket. The cashier dude tells me: $11.60. (not great - but wont break the bank). So he proceeds to write things up, and punches the price in: $26.10. ??!!?? You said $11.60 ... he answers It spiked (????) Seriously? USPS in the future.
The other reviews about no support from staff are odd. I walked in and received top notch support. The people were very friendly and really worked to get it right.Update: my international shipment was having delivery problems and Brooks the manager was involved the whole way helping get it resolved. Easily could have pitched me to a 800 number.I’ll be coming back for sure! TY
Staff are unwilling to help or answer questions. They mock and make fun of customers. They are sarcastic and uncaring. Do not be fooled by this location in Wake Forest. I would rather drive further distances then deal with this location ever again. UPS needs to do an intervention here. Multiple bad instances. Poor customer service.
Honestly, fairly non consistent service and poorly run from a management perspective. The employees run the show and arbitrary rules like having only 3 people at a time inside the store (but they can have 6 employees behind the counter though). They can take 5 Amazon Returns some days, but 10 others. Once a fed ex is accessible in the area they will clean up. Theyre only making money because of how bad USPS actually is and the fact you really dont have much of a choice.Unfortunately, its unlikely to change as the owner of the two franchises has no SOPs in place and no pulse on what is happening at other locations.
Wrong, Ive I never had issues at other ups stores, you just send the store a 20 sec email and the UPS STORE WILL PROVIDE YOU A LABEL AGAIN TAKES 20 SEC... AND WHEN I WAS HERE AT ROGERS RD...THERE WASNT ANYONE IN LINE...PLEASE DONT LIE TO THE PUBLIC...I ONLY RATE YOU AS YOUR SERVICE IS...IF YOU WANT A BETTER RATE...GET BETTER SERVICE...DONT BLAME YOUR CUSTOMERS...I SHIP LOTS OF UPS...I KNOW WHAT IM DOING...ITS OK IF YOU NEEDED TO CLOSE EARLY, BE HONEST was there 45 minutes before closing, but yet they still could not print a label for me, told me they had already shut down there print machine..THEY SHOULD NOT BE OPEN IF CAN NOT DO THE JOB !!, WHICH UPS DOESNT CARE, HAVE NO COMPETITION..,THE EMPLOYEES TODAY ONLY CARE ABOUT WHAT TIME THEY GET OFF WORK...NOT AT ALL ABOUT HELPING CUSTOMER CARE!! SERIOUSLY...if they reply this fast, that tells me they are use to bad service..gotta get better, bottom line...
Always a great experience and the staff is always friendly...but this time they OUT DID themselves!! I asked Brooks (the awesome manager) if he could print some maps of NYC to complete my NY theme garage decor. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money because again...it’s only a garage. He went over and beyond to make them exactly what I wanted. If you ever need big posters printed definitely give them a call!!
This place is a joke as far as Amazon returns! If I have the items all packed up ready to send back to Amazon and I just need to print the return label they are charging $4 plus how ever much to “copy” it lol WOW! No thank you!
Terrible customer service! I called told them I had 4 documents needing to be notarized one has 2 people’s signatures plus notary needed. They said no problem. We get there and they turn us away because they won’t notarize anything that needs 2 people’s signatures due to their own rule allowing 3 customers in the store at a time! The specific orders by the governor at the time was 50% capacity allowed in the store! Your specific capacity is not 3 people therefore you chose to make rules you weren’t consistently following or communicating. The amount of time spent explaining it to us she could have notarized the document! Also follow your own rules there were more than three customers in the store when we walked in!Congratulations for losing sales we had to also ship the documents which you needed to charge us for. We will be sure to never support your business again! Some advice communicate properly and you won’t lose loyal customers! We happily went to the UPS store a few miles away where they happily served us and we will go there moving forward!
Excellent service! Hunter answered my questions, gave great advice to save money. Will continue to visit this location. HIGHLY recommend!
Amazon states that you can return items free without a box. However, I was charged and I noticed someone after me wasnt. Also, it was a little awkward that the rep referred to me as his ex wife. I have no idea who he was, but if he really thought I was his ex wife, perhaps thats what I was charged...
Bad customer service, the associate was very unprofessional and acted childish. She repeatedly was saying have a nice day and laughed like a little girl instead of helping the customer. Disgusting
Very disappointing with the lack of customer service and basic empathy. I live in a rural area so this was the closest location to me, an hour + away. The associates claimed that they closed in 5 minutes and it would take at least 15 mins to prepare my package but I can come back Monday. No thank you. I guess FedEx will get my business yet again and from now on.
Very overpriced. Wanted to $75 to package and ship a canvas painting. Was told it would still cost $40 if I packaged it. I found my own box and took it to FedEx store and they charged me $23
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Both the gentlemen working there are extremely rude and unprofessional. I will drive 2 miles further if I have to in the future. This was probably the worst customer service I have ever experience in my life
Great service. I appreciate them taking covid seriously.
Extremely rude!!!! I had misread packaging instructions for a return, an honest mistake and he was so rude with a major attitude!!!
5 Star Customer Service. The staff is truly amazing!
I came into the store with several small items to ship and that also needed repackaging. Unfortunately, things changed at the last minute due to budget reasons and I couldnt use their services to ship everything. Brooks and his team were very patient and respectful of the situation and worked with me until we figured out a plan. They were kind and efficient and gave me the best customer service. I go there for any and all shipments needs and will continue to do so!
Hours show till 6:30. Its 5:30 and the doors are locked and nobodys here, except me and a few other customers who wasted time coming to this UPS store. Thank you for your Covid Response excuse.I understand the fear that has been created around covid... I also see other stores open and people working. Regarding Covid as of today (12/23/2020) there has been 318, 569 deaths and 17,974,303 reported cases (U.S.). Doing the math, we stand a .00177 % chance of expiring due to covid. What that means is we have a 99.9823% percent chance of not dying... Its more dangerous to drive on Capitol Blvd. between 4 and 6 PM. But lets close the road down and make people stop driving, lets put the world population in a bubble instead of the one whos immune system is compromised. The math doesnt justify the fear. Not opinion, its math.
My husband and I needed important papers notarized on weds the 30th of sept. We made an appointment prior to arriving. Upon arrival we were greeted by a group of men who were energetic and very willing to help us in any way they could. Michael the notary was exceptionally helpful they took care of our business expeditiously. It was evident they were experienced and well trained. All of them worked together. We had to return the following day and had the same experience please acknowledge all of your staff working those 2 days Posie and Pat
Staff are very efficient and work fast
I have lived in this area for 5 years now- This UPS store has always been helpful with my returns and newbie questions regarding packaging and how to mail things in one piece. Anything that cannot be handled is done with grace and humor. I had to return something and I did not notice the return label was USPS. I think it was Brooks who said If it wasnt for that last S we would have had you covered. Thanks for being human, and helping, me return stuff.
I was disappointed to be greeted very rudely today as I tried to drop off a package. If you’re going to require masks, please be kind about it and don’t snap at your customers because you are making this situation far worse for us. It’s already a turn off. Also please remember that some have health conditions and can’t wear a mask, so either accommodate those people, offer to come outside to take the package from us, or place a drop box outside for us. I’ve completely lost my respect for UPS.
The employees at this location are extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Have tried to use this location multiple times. They offer no solutions/help just a rude attitude. Watched an employee drop an entire cartload of packages in the street ... Hope no one was shipping anything fragile. Will not be back.
What happened to kindness and respect? I went to have two packages returned and needed assistance. At one point a male employee walked over to assist the female employee who was helping me. He barked out some procedural guidelines and when I went to respond to him, he just turned and walked away. I asked, ”am I supposed to be talking to him or you.” When is it every okay to just turn and walk away from someone when they are talking to you. Especially when that person is a customer and you are running a business. People do have a choice where they spend their money. My suggestion is that you have your employees go through some type of customer service etiquette training. Assuming you care about your employee-customer relationship.
The staff here are beyond helpful! Returning packages are my least favorite part of online shopping because it’s always such a hassle. Not here! They were extremely helpful and patient. Will definitely be back!
I had to mail a package right before the store was closing. The staff member (Meghan) was very helpful and patient with me as I changed my mind a few times. She had several other customers that also came in right before closing and she provided us excellent customer service. I really appreciated her help!
Great store. I was the fifth customer when I walked in and within 2 minutes I was at the front. The speed with which they helped all others in the store was staggering. Brooks assisted me with my printing, notary, and shipping needs, while being extremely personable. I also witnessed the other associates in the store being polite, professional, and efficient with the customers who came in after me. I haven’t always had a good experience at my regular location, but the experience today at store 5596 has made me switch.
I went in today to have some bidding plans printed. Not being extra smart about my smart phone and how to email them this store to print I of course asked for assistance. No one Except Hunter would even attempt to assist me with that. I finally gave up and left extremely frustrated that the customer service could be soooo BAD. AT a time when everyone is trying to survive, why would you allow customers to be so disrespected?
Had tons of amazon returns after Christmas. Brooks was super patient and helpful as I struggled to pull up labels and barcodes on my phone and their computer. So much smoother a process than I thought. This is the only place to go in WF for all your shipping needs!!! Thank you for everything!!!
Customer service poor at best. Mailed a package there because of the convenience, they tried to hard sell on shipping options wanting an exuberant amount of money that had I gone to the post office would have paid 3/4of the amount. Paid double for two day shipping and after a trip around the state got the package delivered to my home address and no ones accountable. Save your money and your time!
Prices for boxes are ridiculous. Bought two and it cost nearly $30. Their shipping costs are a lot more than they should be as well.
Excellent service! I went in to return several items to Amazon, and I didnt have a clue what I was doing. They were patient and helpful and efficient. I will go back!
As someone that works out of their home office, this store has been a great help to me over the years. Brooks, the manager, has always gone out of his way to help with my printing, faxing, and copying needs. To be able to email the store for assistance on projects has saved me so much time! I would recommend this store for everything from package and shipping needs to faxing, copying, printing, and notarizing.
Had to make an appointment (for an hour later) and done back for a notary to sign one document. Only three people allowed in store, so presumably the notary was there already...🤷♂️ Poor customer service, all things considered.
Such amazing custom service comes from this store. The management really cares about providing the best service they can and has been extremely helpful in the marketing of a brand new small business. I would highly recommend their services.
Went in to print a return label 1 sheet cost me $4.91.. The one in chapel hill charges .25 cents.. what a huge difference. The min amount to make a copy it $4.. find a different location they are crooks ..
I Want To Experience Some Service RecoveryAs a near 20 year customer of Gregs business, I have seen great customer service in the past. This morning was a different story. I entered the Rogers Road Store with Brooks assisting me.I brought in two small cat toys, a washcloth, a card made from a piece of construction paper and a piece of cardboard. Brooks told me immediately that I needed a box to protect the card. He brought out a box the size of a small bankers box! I asked if there was something smaller. No, then your card will be ruined. The total cost was $22.04 to mail. He suggested that I place the card under the cardboard on the bottom. I replied that I wanted to make sure the recipient saw the card, since there was a $25 gift card attached to it. Brooks replied brusquely, We dont cover gift cards. I hadnt asked him in the first place. My reply was that I wanted to watch him pack the box. It was obvious that he took that negatively. As I began to exit, I noticed a box far smaller and much more appropriate for my items. I asked him about it. He replied, Your card wouldnt do well in there. I asked how much the difference was, had I used that box. He shrugged and said, Not much less, five dollars or so. I left (without my tracking information, by the way). I made a call to Greg and let him know that I had experienced less than decent customer service. He answered, What do you need? Wow! I suggested that we talk when it was more convenient for him. He replied that it was ok right now. I told him what had happened exactly as you are seeing above. His take - Well, Im sorry about that. Ill talk to Brooks. Greg and Brooks - heres what I need - Id like the difference between what it cost me this AM to mail the package and what it would have cost, had my items been mailed with a more appropriately sized box. Id like my tracking number as well. Im willing to give the business another chance, but I am looking for service recovery. Customer service counts heavily.
Nice employees, knowledgeable about printing and copying. Theyve saved me a few times when they let me hook up my laptop and print from their printer for a very minimal charge. They also offer notary.
I recently talking to the manager on the phone and I asked him to hold because I needed to consult with my mother-in-law. I overheard an employee ask the manager a question about what is going on and the manager responded saying that I put him on hold and the employee said something and then the line ended. VERY POOR SERVICE over the phone!!!!!!! If only I could give zero stars but NEVER again and very sad!
Always friendly and helpful!
Very impressed with the customer service at this location. I regularly drop items off here without a problem, but recently got some wedding items printed- and they went above and beyond to help me! Had professional opinions and recommendations, very speedy and cost appropriate. Will continue to go back!
This store is terrible. Years ago I remember not going back because they charged me for a small amount of tape that THEY used to secure my package. I go to the one on Fall of Neuse normally, hey have never charge me for tape or for needing to log into gmail to print a label. The lady who helped was nice. Out of convenience, today, I went to heritage station and they charged me for 15 minutes of time on their computer while I printed labels for a very confusing order. (Not their fault at all) It cost me six dollars and change to print some labels and use their computer and I walked out with some boxes that I had to take somewhere else, because while they are a UPS store, they don’t process refused packages... (?)
We love this store! Brooks and his team are fabulous and always very helpful. We use this service for business and personal shipments. It is great to have it in the neighborhood.Johanna and Rob Miller
I am appreciative to Brooks and the team. I depend on them to pack and ship the contents of an entire condo every mlb offseason! Not only do they help me make the best economical decisions on insurance and shipping, but.....they help with the little things like bringing packages to and from my vehicle:) thank you:)
If I had the option for -5 stars I would give that. This place is a joke. Their computer is suuuuper slow, not sure if on purpose or not, charging 3$ for 10 minutes. I tried to print one page from the USB and clicked twice on print because the computer froze after I clicked the first time. Then, their setting for print (on the computer, not the copier) is color by default. Who always prints color? It is my fault for not paying attention, however I have never seen color as default setting anywhere on any computer. On top of that, the page I tried to print did not have any color on it, it was black and white. So, they ended up charging me 4.60$ for using the garbage computer for 2 minutes and printing 1 black and white page, the copy that was printed by mistake because their computer froze...yes, he charged me for that too, color copy price. Again, even though there is nothing colored on the page. Completely ridiculous, what business are you running? They are playing the victim and will not take responsibility for anything, not even for being rude and ignorant. Will go to a different location than keeping them in business.
Dont let the one star reviews deter you. It is a great store to do business with. I use them frequently to send our product.Looks like the one star reviews are coming from the folks that were looking for some free stuff.
I have been dropping items off at UPS stores for years and sometimes ask if they would seal packages with tape. This was my first time at this location and I could not believe they wanted to charge me $1 apiece to tape up my pre-labeled boxes. I wont be returning to this location if they want to nickel and dime customers for something as simple as tape... Upon going to another location, I asked if it was a UPS policy to charge for tape. He replied no, and that it was absurd for any location to charge for something so silly. I will be sure to go out of my way to give business to other locations that actually value customer service.
I just left the store. These guys are great. Brooks was very professional and actually saved me some money. I will come back!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean neat store and excellent location.
I had my package there before truck left and it didnt and up going on the truck. Never had a problem before. I was not happy. And if that was going to happen they shouldve said something. Be careful!!
I appreciate this store upholding the high tape and safe packaging standards we expect from UPS. I do not appreciate being told that:1. We are running a business, tape costs money!2. UPS does not profit one cent from the storesI would love to spend the morning writing up a breakdown for the owners about the absurdity of these two statements but I have a business to run ;)The 1 star is for the smells you receive from Stewarts (5 star) next door. the aroma really helps with the disappointment.
Great and fast service
Ive used this store as my mailing address and to ship occasional packages for two years. Never a slip up, always cheerful and reliable service. Were very pleased with their service.
Been few times myself, but my granddaughter went in and after having tuff experience at staples, she says she got the best customer service. More then plesant, very helpful. Id recommend them highly.
Excellent advice on how to design booklets and brochures. They are fast and professional in their print work.
We recently had packets made (copied, sorted and stapled). All items were perfect and the staff helpful and professional. The work was done ahead of schedule.
Employees were nice. To expensive! $103 for a box of beanie babies. Crazy!!!
The worst customer service. Brooks was rude and wouldnt help me tape a package... Told me to buy a roll of tape and tape it up myself. Other option ... Buying a new bag. :-/ I have always had great service at the Cary UPS store but dont go to this one at Heritage... Customer service obviously isnt priority.
Awesome to drop off Amazon returns
$50 for two unassembled boxes, and dismissive no help. $22.60 for an expandable box with foam corners and cheerful assistance at Public Storage on Atlantic Ave
I took a package in an open box to this store. I requested more packing material to be added to the box before shipping. Imagine my 13 year old grandsons reaction when he opened it and it contained only packing material but no AirPods. Very unhappy with the response from the supervisor when I returned to the store.
I work from home and sometimes need to ship products. This UPS is very similar to other locations, the staff is friendly and the environment is good.
I use the UPS store multiple times a week and I get the best customer service.
On October 14,2014 I had a 22 pages document faxed and the next day the people who were supposed to receive the fax said they never got it. It cost me 27 dollars to send the fax but I paid because it was very important that I faxed the document. I came back the next day and told the employee at the time that the fax had not gone through he told me that is not my problem and the machine told him that it went through. He said that I could re-send the fax for another 27 dollars but why would I do that when it obviously didnt work the first time. All in all I feel that the employee was very rude and that he robbed me of my money. When I told the employee that I would never go back to his store he said he did not care. I want the UPS store in wake forest on Rogers Rd to know that you stole $27 from me and to the readers please I BEG YOU DO NOT GIVE THAT UPS STORE YOUR MONEY they dont care about you... If the owner care to know who the employee is the date I went back to the store was 10/14/14 around 1:00pm he said he was the manager when I ask to speak with one.
I had to return a package and used the original box it was sent in. I asked the clerk for an additional piece of tape on the bottom of the package and he refused, stating that drop off packages only get ONE PIECE OF TAPE. WHAT??!!He was rude and dismissive. Terrible Service!
My experience dealing with this store two different times has been HORIBLE. The guys at the front desk are rude and not helpful. It is like they hate their jobs! I will never visit or call that store ever again and I suggest that others do not go there as well. Going there or speaking with them will just get frustrate you!
Horrible customer service. Condescending and extremely rude man at the counter. If I could give it zero stars I would.
Friendly staff, many other services other than shipping
Rude
These folks charge EXORBITANT prices for their packing materials and services. Example: $17 to pack an inkjet printer. Another example: $24 to pack a boom-box radio/CD player.
