Our either new or relief carrier in Wake Forest has folded and stuffed a hardcover book my wife ordered for a college class, bending the cover, and no longer delivers large packages to our door, only leaving them at the foot of our mailbox beside the road. Cannot even get someone to answer the phone at the Post Office to launch a complaint.

Our last postal carrier was excellent, but the one we’ve had for the last couple of months is kind of terrible. He skips pick up requests, delivers neighbors’ mail to us and our mail to neighbors, and does stuff like this picture when he doesn’t feel like walking all the way to our front door.I’ve tried to complain to the post office, but no one ever answers the phone.Very frustrating and disappointing

Friendly, NO LINE! What a refreshing place- got my package mailed without waiting at all. There were three available postal clerks at their stations ready to help and a self-serve station for packages near the mailboxes. Beautiful facility, too.

Package Delivered - Lies - I am SO tired of getting alerts stating my packaged was delivered to door/porch at 2:21 pm - when I am home all day in the front office and NOTHING is delivered!!! Please dont try to call the phone tag line either to get support as it is just as useless. When did Customer Service become SO poor and laughable? Very, very sad - why cant people and workers just do the right thing and deliver the mail to the right address?

I have never had an issue with the USPS, and always stood up for their employees.... That is until today. My wife and I have made several orders through Amazon over the past several months. All the ones coming via Amazon for UPS or FedEx always seem to arrive when theyre supposed to, with a few exceptions. The last three orders in a row from USPS have been stated as having been delivered, yet we did not get any items. The Wake Forest, NC postmaster general has got to be one of the most incompetent people in the history of incompetent people. Either he has surrounded himself with very incompetent people working for him, or he is surrounded himself with people who have extremely sticky fingers, or both. Someone really needs to look in to whats going on at this post office.

The rout driver on week days for lillie liles rd leaves mail boxes open, continuously leaves mail in my box that is bot mine even after writing on the mail letting them know its not mine, and using the flag. I have litterslly written messages on someones mail for weeks to the carrier until they finally took it back from my box. I legally cannot take their mail. Why wont yall pick it up!? Id love to meet these people some day.

I went to this post office today in order to apply for a passport. I got through the line quickly, and my appointment started on time and was finished within 15 minutes. The person helping me was named Jim and he was very kind and patient, and explained everything he was doing very thoroughly. It was a very good experience.

I had to go to the main location today to pickup a parcel because a slip was left in my box. To be fair, I was home at the time but had I not gone in I would have missed the opportunity to meet the friendliest postal employee I have ever met! His name is Ronald and he was helping people move through the lines more efficiently by directing people where to go. He had the biggest and most wonderful smile and the happiest attitude that I completely got over the fact that I had to go in to get my package instead of sign at my door. Having this experience with Ronald made the whole event worth it. Seems like the post office is really looking to improve their image and I hope they continue on that path. You definitely need more people like Ronald. He is a real boon to your location!

This postal branch was built and staffed to handle a town of 5,000 not 50,000. Im sure they try, but they seem overwhelmed.The place is a mess, disorganized, staff cannot find packages, the phone is rarely if ever answered. UPS uses them for the last mile delivery and God help you if the carrier puts a delivery attempt notification in the wrong mailbox.Ive left 3 written instructions to deliver a package of medical supplies Ive been trying to get for a week. Still no package. UPS says USPS problem, contact them. If only.I pay for shipping and delivery, so how is it my problem to figure out why the last-mile USPS delivery chain is broken so badly? Finally resorted to re-ordering the supplies through a FedEx delivery system. Where did my original order end up? Who the heck knows.

There’s a guy that works here and I don’t know what his name is, but he was extremely helpful. Although he put me on hold a couple times to check on my package, he always came back and told me exactly what was going on and where we were at. I believe he said he had worked for this post office for 22 years. I don’t know his name but he really changed how I feel about the post office.

Years ago they were tolerable and most of the employees did their best to be pleasant and efficient. Then I switched to using the automated machine outside of the lobby. That was easier. Nowadays this place is a trainwreck and the wait time is typically 20 to 30 minutes. Other options? Well Rolesville USPS is a cruel joke so I usually drive to Youngsville to ship my packages. They are are bit antiquated but not crowded. Its worth the gas and time to avoid this WF branch. I have many wild stories to share about clueless Wake Forest mail carriers but theres enough info here already for people to get the gist of things we suffer in this town just trying to send and receive the US Mail.

I dont have any sweeping political statements to make but they did lose my package, so theres that. They left a delivery slip at 1130 AM, I came in at 430 PM, they had me step to the side, then told me they couldnt find the $650 package I ordered from ebay. They didnt seem the slightest bit concerned or apologetic that my package was nowhere to be found. They took my name and number and said they would call me today, still waiting for the call. Ill update the review based on whether I actually ever see my package, or whether it turns out the carrier has a mysterious new phone.

This office was extremely helpful!! My wife was expecting a package, but accidentally made a typo in the shipping address, so the tracking info said the package would be returned to sender. My wife went to the office to try to remedy the situation, but the person in charge of that sort of thing was not there, so my wife left her number for them to call her when it was sorted out. Only a couple hours later, we received a call saying our mailman would be delivering us the package the following day. We were surprised they called back so quickly and that they were able to retrieve the package before it was sent back.

Im new here by only 3 months...and Ive had 2 packages returned as undeliverable due to the apt# being left off the address label generated by the Post Office. ...Funny thing is, the senders info had it correct, UPS had it correct, it was the Post Offices own label it was left off of...TWICE!!! Then they returned it because of their own lncompetance! IM BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!! ...I will ship everything I can through another means!

Maybe I should have looked at the reviews before trying to send my daughter a birthday present. Wesley from the Post Office called after I left a request to know why she never received the package. My confirmation was that it was delivered October 8 & left on the porch (Hurricane Matthew here in the Raleigh area). Wesley said that they did deliver the package on October 8 and tied it to the door. Have never had a package tied to my door from the P.O. but OK. He did leave a phone number for me to call him back but it didnt work (fast busy)...just a little disappointed my daughter never got her birthday present & that the Post Office would just leave a package on the door during a hurricane without knocking on the door.

This has been the WORST post office. They consistently do not deliver packages to my building and the only way we know they are at the post office is by calling when we havent received our packages. However, if you track your package they always say the package was delivered. Multiple people in my building have complained and the people who work there are rude to us all and offer no help.However, one woman named Brandy is absolutely AMAZING and kind and actually helpful. After yet another occurrence of my package being delivered yet not actually delivered, I went directly to the post office and my package was not there and the people working there were of NO help. I called two days later looking for my package and was told they would call me later in the day. I never got call back so I called the next day and was told the same thing. Again, I did not receive a call so I called the third day and spoke with Brandy. She apologized for the terrible service I had been receiving and for being given the run-around so many times. She walked me through the process I needed to take and we determined my package was probably just lost in the mail. But she followed up with me the next day and was absolutely wonderful.Overall, this post office needs better management and better staff with the exception of Brandy.

If I could give them zero stars I would! From day one dealing with this current mail carrier has been a nightmare. We have to go on a hunt for our mail. We have to check the mailbox, then outside the front of our garage, then the property. Reason for the mail hunt is the mail carrier leaves our mail in different areas depending on her mood. We have com home to our mail flying around our property. We are not even sure exactly how much mail we have lost due to her unorthodox and negligent way of delivering our mail. We have packages missing, packages destroyed. She also has automatically put the, Sorry we missed you! tag in the mailbox, instead of coming to the door! We have watched her do it many times! We have cameras on our property and get notification when our doorbell is rung and werent notified of anyone being at the door. We have many times come out to the note and checked the time and realized we were home at the time and the doorbell never was rung or door knocked on.When we have called the Wake Forest postal office it is a continuation of that nightmare! They pick up the phone and sound as though they either just woke up or are angry without even hearing what you have to say. They are rude, unprofessional, condescending and downright abusive over the phone. We have placed numerous complaints. When you try to explain what the issue is they cut you off and yell over you. They act as though they are doing you a favor by talking to you. They always claim they will speak to the mail carrier. Nothing has changed. They should be ashamed!

This used to be an excellent office. Ive never seen a business go down hill as quickly as this one has. Its my understanding the old Postmaster retired. Ive had multiple items lost/delivered to the wrong location in the past year or so. Also, having them pick up your packages when theyre supposed to is hit and miss. If you own a small business and depend on reliable postal service, consider moving to another town or getting a PO box in another town. Its a shame. This USED to be a fine office staffed by more or less quality people. The carriers were fine as well. Its now full of sloppy people who dont care whether they do their job right or not.

I sent two bills via the mail at my office which is in Wake Forest well in advance of their due dates. Neither arrived at their location. That is two different utility companies (one of which doesnt have online pay and the other which charges to pay online) that did not receive my payments. That is two late fees.Not only that, we have had a number of patrons send us shipments and put tracking numbers on them. They say they are delivered on the tracking number, but they are not. Our mail is securely delivered to our door.Also, the USPS in general, has had several of our packages bounce back from Greensboro to Jacksonville, FL, back to Greensboro, back to Jacksonville, etc. etc. The package sometimes is destined for the Midwest and it does this. We have had several packages bounce back and forth, some for over a month. We contact the Wake Forest USPS and they get back with us weeks later. It matters not whether we call or visit in person. We sometimes never receive any type of feedback.As a former USPS employee I am disappointed in the Wake Forest USPS.

Ive always had great service with this post office. The people have always been friendly and the service rather quick. They have even let my little ones use the potty when we have been caught out. Issues weve had with carriers have been resolved, albeit a bit slowly at times, and that is why a 4 instead of 5 star.

I ordered something on Amazon and have been waiting for days to get it. I finally get a update saying that it was delivered an hour ago. All of my mail came, except the package I was expecting. I would call them and ask where it is, but someone decided that being open for only two hours on a Saturday is a good idea. Disappointed.

Ditto to all the negative comments! This is the absolute WORST post office. I have many of the same issues described in the earlier reviews and now the latest is...mailed my tax returns with checks for taxes owed on 4/15/15 and wouldnt you know it, neither the Federal or State returns were received. Now...if one were not received, I would chalk it up to a mistake. However, two missing returns/checks. Now I know it was this sorry #@! post office again!!!!! Something has to be done!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shutem down...theyre not worth it!

Everyone on my street gets my mail. The mail runs on the weekend here and there. They didn’t even run yesterday, a Friday which will cause my bills to go in late. What is wrong with this postal service. They can’t read, they totally skip Green Farm Lane on some Fridays and Saturday. I’m always scared when I order something that it will go to someone else after I have paid for it. I suggest you hold your mail people accountable. If my bills are late I am legally coming after the postal service. I have asked all my packages to be insured due to the incompetence of the postal service!

Luckily found a we missed you notification for a certified letter under my front door mat. Waited for a good fifteen minutes while they searched for the letter but they couldnt find it. Absolutely useless. A complete waste of my time.I got outside and despite parking away from the entrance, some moron had opened their door onto my car door and left a nice big red scratch on it.USPS was definitely a subtraction to my quality of life today and I think it would benefit everyone if they were just replaced by the private sector who would probably try again to deliver certified letters/legal documents.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I called about a problem with my package that was sent their for a friend and the lady was just rude. She thought I was crazy for even asking a question. She didnt help me or even try to fix the problem. They are also now charging people extra money for the package. My package was supposed to go to their house but it went to the post office instead and now for my friend to pick it up he has to pay money to get it . I would recommend using other post office near by to send your mail or packages too.

Carrier (USPS) forwarded a shipment twice and then returned to sender. Each time I received a notification it was delivered to my PO Box and showed up to pick it up (each time) but the package was in fact re-forwarded and then marked undeliverable. Spoke with the postmaster about it (it was never resolved) nice lady but it is apparent anything that requires more than minimum effort of the staff will not get solved at the Wake Forest office. I have had other issues with this office as well but will not go into them.Go UPS or as a last resort FedEx but be forewarned some FedEx packages use the USPS and you end up paying more for the same poor service.Overall a nice staff but less than competent in executing their job, when the customer has a greater knowledge of USPS procedure you have a problem that needs to be addressed by senior leadership

Waited 2 days now for wedding rings rings for this weekend. The mailman was too lazy to get out of the car and put my package in my mailbox and wrote the delivery note as “couldn’t access the address”. Lady carrier was suppose to deliver 2 packages, but only delivered one package, then later in day she claims no one was home when she attempted to deliver the package and she left a notice...Both Lies!! Now I have to make a trip to the post office to get my package....I called the wake forest post office but only get answer machine saying to call the 800 number....ALL LOSERS!!! Post Master and carriers are paid way too much money for poor service. I see there are many complaints about this post office and yet they still have losers running it....What a waste. We deserve better service for our money. Update - No stars here. Signs on the door for Covid-19 that read No Mask - No Service. Yet customers with no mask received service today!!! Oh, yeah, one customer without a mask cut the line too!!!!!Apparently, the USPS in Wake Forest does not care about health, State Orders requiring masks, or customer satisfaction.Still the slowest post office I have ever seen. I never have seen it without a line out the door. People are so frustrated they are sometimes fighting each other for service. Staff does not know what they are doing. Mail has been lost and they have no clue.

This review is for the Wake Forest, NC Post Office. The mail carrier for Stony Hill Rd repeatedly leaves mail in the wrong mailboxes and leaves mailboxes open (in the rain!). These are not one-time occurrences, this is an ongoing issue that the Wake Forest Post Master will not address. This office is the typical instance of government workers circling the wagons to protect their government jobs.

The carrier has been delivering envelopes ripped and opened without the content .if an item bigger than the mailbox is being delivered they automatically put the, sorry we missed you tag in the mailbox, instead of coming to the door, have watched them do it many times.Also I have been waiting to resume mail delivery after a hold mail request for 3 days now, but no sign of my accumulated Mail, maybe they throw it out. Hate to give such a bad review; but, this post office consistently gets things wrong. Multiple times my package was delivered to different neighbors. Porch pick ups are a day late.... Try to call them and you have to call 15-20 times before you get someone. So different from the post offices Ive had before in western Kentucky & Cary, NC. =(

I have had to packages say they are out for delivery and then updated to say they can not be delivered due to the address. The address is correct. I have now lost out on $200 worth of items and no one wants to help. USPS just points the finger to the sender. It is not the companies i am ordering from but usps. This is not acceptable!

The worst postal service I have ever had in any state, city I have lived in. Packages lost, never delivered. Hold mail and other on line features never get to them. They say the try to deliver packages but nobody came to my door all day. I was here waiting. UPS never has a problem. They leave my delivery ever month. This is awful. I cannot select how I want amazon to deliver my packages so I am left with problems whenever amazon ships usps. I know my one email wont make a difference but someone has to say something.

The staff at the Wake Forest post office is very courtesy and patient. They show great professionalism given the USPS being short-changed and short-staffed by a GOP congress that works to discredit the agency so we might all eventually pay a lot more at UPS or FEDEX. Republicans have required the USPS to fund its pensions for 70 years, something no other corporation has to do, in an attempt to undermine it, just like theyre doing with the funding of Social Security offices.

Worst post office EVER. We moved to Wake Forest from Raleigh in May, and my experience with this post office has been terrible since we moved. First, at least 2-3 times a week we get packages or mail for another address. I have to wonder how much of our mail is going to other addresses. Also multiple times the carrier will leave a slip saying signature required for items that did not require a signature. This is because some of the drivers REFUSE to get out of the truck to bring anything to your door. I also had one occasion where instead of leaving it at the door, or doing a slip they just crammed it all the box, crushed a package and folded a bubble mailer. I had to pry the package out of the box.

We have been dealing with a nightmare! If I could give them a zero I would give them zero stars! My problem is this, I have NO idea where my mail is at and the carrier doesnt seem to come to our neighborhood at all. My husband and I have our birthdays three weeks apart. He has not received any birthday cards from relatives when they sent them about two weeks ago- all his relatives reside in North Carolina. My family is from Virginia, they stated that they sent me items a week ago and I still have not gotten them. Its not so much to post office building that is a problem....but our mail delivery has degenerated to a point that for over two months now we dont get mail delivered until well after 6:00 pm. and quite often its after 10:00 pm. This week I had a certified return receipt package for which the delivery person failed to leave the notice of attempted delivery. I had to call them to find out where the package was and then go sign for it. Not sure who is in charge but clearly they have lost control!!

The worst post office ever! Several packages were dropped off and never left this post office. Tracking indicated it never left the facility. After open cases and hours on hold, their supervisor Jose, quits. I was ne er called back after leaving several messages. Now after my third in person visit I am told they have to start over and will have to pay to have the packages located!!! What?

Usps is a very irritating entity to deal with in general, Ive had my mail stolen, lost and damaged in transit.BUT, the usps in wake forest is for the most part a good team of people. I try to use the electronic check out for most of my packages and only go to the counter when I have to. They get things done always get my mail where it needs to go.

Horrible and slow services at the station. The mail persons from the station are also very lazy. For instance, when the mail person was supposed to deliver a package to me today (1/13/16), the mail person did not bother to ring my door bell even when I was home the whole time. Instead, the mail person left a note in my mail box.Id rather pay more postage and have the USPS raise its standard of services. Its really quite unacceptable.

Today is 1/10/2017 and I am writing this at 1:30 pm. I have received no mail since 1/6/2017 due to winter weather. My problem is I have no way to contact the post office to find out when delivery will resume or if I could go pick it up there. No website posting, twitter posting, hot line number, and they WILL NOT answer the phone. Beyond that, I regularly receive my neighbors mail. I assume they receive mine as well. My mail carrier speeds dangerously though my neighborhood as if it were a race and daily delivery that was once around 12:30 now runs around 3:00-4:00 on average. But then, this is a unionized, government run operation so I guess this service is to be expected!

Terrible service. If this wasnt a part of the inept U.S.P.S., they would have been out of business years ago. Try stopping your mail while you are out of town. This branch cannot do it. Completely inept.

I am on the phone as I write this. Complaining to the post office of course. I did a change of address online, I received a confirmation that they have processed the change. Mail is still being delivered to the old address. I called and the supervisor said that the change of address is in the system correctly and that the they will notify the carrier that they need to forward the mail. DUH!! If you walk in just ignore the bad attitudes, depressed employees, and lack of customer service....

I would give a zero star but it wouldnt let me. I received a notice from my mail carrier that my mail box was full, he took all of my mail out and left a note that he was sending back to the sender. WHY TAKE MY MAIL THAT YOU ALREADY PUT IN MY BOX??? And, my door is about 50 feet away, why couldnt you just stop by and hand it to me telling me my box was full. Mostly junk mail but you also took my 1st Class mail and returned it. What a joke the government system is.

This is the worst post office i have ever encountered. I have lived in wake forest for 10 months and they have lost 5 of my packages. Two of my packages were sent priority mail and were suppose to arrive in two days. After disputing it and arguing with the post office about it never being received. I finally got it a week later and the box was damaged and partially opened. I just got a package in the mail on 9.23.15 in a parcel locker at my complex and couldnt access it because they placed the wrong locker key in my mail box. After calling they said someone would come out and provide the right key and they did not. Im going to file a complaint with the company.

This is a rare occurrence but Im actually going to say something positive about the Wake Forest Postal Service I had a package to come through Amazon was too be delivered by 8 p.m. tonight and it was brought to my door at 10:30 this morning I was floored couldnt believe it I wish they would always take care of their business like they did today

On average, I get 20 pieces of mail at my house that are for other houses, sometimes very far away. Delivery also never gets out of the vehicle when there is a signature required item, instead forcing me to drive 20 minutes each way to the PO to pick things up. LAZY. SLOPPY.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Theres never more than 2 people working (if that many), even during the busiest times. They are not friendly most of the time, and are not considerate of your time. This post office is poorly run, messy, and unprofessional. I only go when I MUST.

Some of my UPS are transferred to the USPS for final delivery. That means I have to go to the post office to pick them up. Once I go, they can not find the package (time after time after time). The USPS has served its purpose and needs to be terminated.

Phone is always busy! My mail is constantly misdelivered and I receive neighbor mail on a constant basis. My mail holds are messed up regularly. Grrrr! Soooo frustrating!!

This is a terrible location with a new post master who care nothing for you as a customer. One of his employees threw my package 8 ft onto my concrete porch (which contained a Canon DSLR camera) and the post master told me that it is not his fault and that the sender should have bought more insurance. Their delivery drivers are allowed to do whatever they want to a package and we will suffer the consequences. Avoid this location like the plague, USPS is simply trying to get you to buy more of their terrible services or pay when they make a mistake.

Wrong mail delivered all the time. They Lie on Delivery confirmations. They are Lazy, I only get my packages if I meet them in person at my driveway, and have to tell them per delivery confirmation says they have it, thats if Im lucky. I Got proof, cameras, they dont care.
