Being costumer for 4 yrs of this business. I spent thousands of dollars on new tools from them. But 3 months ago I rented a pressure wash from them and it kept shutting off I went back the gave me another one, and it was acting the same way. This week went and rent another pressure wash from them and this one didnt had pressure at all it took me more than 4 hours. Went back I recorded a video show it to the front desk guy he say he was going to check it and told me he was going to give me a discount. An hour later he call me saying that everything was working well . I dont know why didnt he check it in front of me, but her charged my card with a full price. This place is getting rediculous .. I wont ever going back there . The front desk guy was told me I can go somewhere else if didnt like it. I wouldnt say that to a costumer. I recommend Sunbelt or home Depot..

Rented a pressure washer. It leaked so bad at both the wand and unit I took it back. It was worthless. I wasted 4 hours. No apology, just I didnt charge you anything. Test it before you leave or go to Sunbelt. Everything looked worn out. I wont return.

Easy rentals and working equipment.

Customer service (or any help) has been terrible here the last 18-24 months.I was a customer for 8+ years, spent thousands of dollars supporting this business, but will never go back.I am tired of being treated rudely (3 consecutive visits). Ive purchased multiple saws and blowers here, the Stihl person is helpful with sales, but when post -purchase is complete youre at the mercy of the rude person at the desk. Regular customers are not their priority, and they let you know it.Helping customers not a priority to management either, based on my conversation today.After this last visit, I will not return. I wonder how many customers they lose this way?

Had one coat of paint on my deck i put on five years ago and was peeling off. Asked triad what would be a great way to remove. I suggested the stand up orbital sander yet 3 guys in the store said to use the stand up square pad sander 20 grit. Never removed my paint the 20 grit would gum up and become ineffective. My wife seen on you tube from many videos, that only a drum sander is the perfect tool for removing paint and restoring the wood with one swipe. Triad would not rent this to me because they said the customers dont set the nails and tare the belt. If they knew this why rent me a tool they knew would not work. They charged me 87.00 for 3 hour use of a tool they knew would not do the job. lesson learned is research many sites for the job your doing and the perfect tool to use and let know one give you anything different. 1 stars are for them being nice and plenty of staff.

Will not rent from this business again. Twice they failed to keep agreements they made with me. Once on a reservation and once on an agreement to resolve the first issue. I reserved a stump grinder over a long weekend as I had over a dozen stumps to take care of. When I showed up I was told the equipment had been rented out even though I had a reservation. The representative was apologetic and offered to rent me the equipment on another date at a reduced price. It wasnt so much the price but the timing. I set aside the long weekend for enough time to complete the work. He understood and said I could pick up the equipment early on Sat and keep till Monday for a one day price. His suggestion, which I agreed to.Fast forward to the day before pick-up. I called to confirm my reservation and discount (based on my prior experience). The store manager now tells me he can not (will not) honor the discount agreed to. If I want to rent the equipment it will be at full price. He claims there is no record of the discount agreement but can see I had a rental that was issued to someone else. Im not asking something for nothing just that businesses honor their agreements. I know mistakes happen (rent out equipment already reserved) but this was not a mistake. They deliberately decided not to honor the agreement made to resolve a prior mistake. I refuse to do business with those I can not trust and will take my business elsewhere. I hope Triad uses this as a coaching opportunity and improves their integrity in the future.In full disclosure, I did rent the stump grinder once before and had excellent service. The staff ensured I was comfortable with the equipment and was extremely helpful throughout the rental process. One mistake I get but errors in integrity are hard to get over.

Came to the store knowing what I was looking for, a STIHL MS271 Farm Boss. Pete understood that I was on a mission to get outfitted and on my way. He fueled up the saw, ran it, and helped me grab a few accessories. I also learned they also offer equipment rentals and other products. Pete was a straight shooter and they make it really easy to do business at Triad Equipment.

I have been going here for years. The guys alway take good care of me. The equipment I rent always performs as it should. Chris, Curtis, and Bernie are the guys I interact with most and they are all stand up folks. I recommend highly.

This past Saturday rented a tile cutter but they gave me one that was too small they were already closed so I couldn’t return it the same day. I brought it back On Monday i explain to them the situation they ended up charging me $23 but for two more dollars I went to Lowe’s and bought one that I needed I feel as since they gave me the wrong tile cutter they shouldn’t have charged me nothing. I’m not the type to get into arguments and stuff so I just paid and moved on but I won’t be coming here no more. And it’s crazy how can you charge someone more per day for a rent fee on a tile cutter if you could just go buy one for literally almost the same price you pay for when you rent one for one day.

The first time I rented there was great, the equipment was in good condition and the cost was more than reasonable. Second time (same type of equipment), and the machine was in poor condition, to the point I brought it back an hour and a half early without finishing the work. There was no offer to exchange it for another one. As convenient as this location is, I’ll be renting tools elsewhere.

I went to Triad to rent a wheelbarrow cement mixer. The price and service that I received were top notch. They were friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me. The parts manager Pat helped me out and I could not have been more pleased with the service he provided. I would highly recommend Triad for any of your rental needs.

Staff was really nice. I rented a tractor with front loader and backhoe. It decided to rain 4 out of 7 days so I only got to use 19hrs.... they wouldnt make an allowance or discount.

These guys have always been great, the equipment is always in good condition. The one time I had an issue they took care of me. Focusing on how the customer feels is always a win in my book.

Carl and company at Triad Equipment are easy to get along with, they help me get hitched to the lift, and now for the third time the Genie lift has helped me get my job done. I have not had occasion to rent a lot of other things, but I basically consider Triad my extended super tool shed. Most things I need for my small business, Carl has a Triad Equipment, in good shape and priced right.

Took my mower in for service. They have had it for 2 months. They have not called or made any contact. My husband went in and they told him they were just about to call him. That was a month ago. We still do not have our mower. I will NEVER use them again.

I havent bought anything from yet, have only really dealt with service for my Stihl equipment. I just picked up my Kombi system from service today after dropping it off on the previous Saturday. When I first was told the price for the tune up I was taken aback a bit because the labor was $88/hour. However once the unit came out and I could see it, I was perfectly happy to pay that price. It came out looking brand new, not almost 9 years old. It was completely cleaned top to bottom. It started up first pull once I got it home as well. The people there have always been nice and friendly and even today the guy ringing me out told me about a self service grease tube I could get for the weed eater head that I could do myself and save some money for next time. Great place use them again and again. I wish I could post before/after pictures, really did a great job cleaning the unit.

I went there previously to look into getting a new Stihl weed eater Kobe System the first guy was very knowledgeable on how it all works Etc once my Weedeater died I went back there to buy a new one there was a different guy at the front desk at the Stihl counter and he was just as knowledgeable very nice and I was in and out with a tested fully gassed fully warranted Stihl Weedeater in 10 minutes I will be back

They are great for rentals and are definitely they only guys I go to for small engine repair. They really deliver without ripping you off. They support both lawn service companies and weekend warriers -giving advice but never condesending.

I mow for a living. Ive used triad for years. I am hard on my stuff, but I can trust triad to fix what can be fixed, to have the parts when I do the work myself. When they tell me its not worth repair, I believe them. Ive bought three big mowers from them and countless handheld. Im not always esy to deal with, especially whn my rig is broke. They handle it though, and I like that, and owe them this note.

Without a doubt, the most unorganized and unresponsive service department. Dropped off Stihl edger 2 weeks ago, said it would be ready in a week. Starting calling at two weeks, learned service department is not open on Saturday, but was promised a phone call back from one of the girls in a few minutes (that was 4 hours ago). I was told that they were really busy this morning which tells me that they have no time, sense of urgency or purpose to walk back to the repair department to see if the edger has even been looked at. If you walk in there, the counter is a mess, drink cups all over the counter, papers laying everywhere-it looks like lots of room for improvement and customer service training.

Troybilt Mower has been in for a simple gear repair in steering column. Triad ordered wrong part even when I highlighted the correct part on the parts list for them off of Troybilts website. They left my mower outside(covered) for two weeks and fixed the gear then I called for a status report. They said my mower would not start and needed a valve adjustment. We reluctantly allowed it, but even after this the mower wont start. Perry offered a free delivery to my home since it has been so long in their shop. When my husband spoke with Pat today he cant seem to tell us what the mower is doing(ie. turning over or what). This valve adjustment was supposed to take care of it! Haha.....We also took in our Stihl blower for repair and were told it was not worth fixing so we purchased a new one. Two weeks later my husband was tinkering with our old Stihl blower and adjusted the carburetor and magically it works perfectly. I guess its easier to sell a new blower than the fix an older one.Last Fall we rented a wood splitter and split wood until we noticed an hydraulic hose leaking heavily. We took it back and told them of the problem, they said they would repair it. We tried to rent it again two weeks later and it still was not even touched. NO REPAIR.Bottom line this place is ran by a sad group of staff - they are dishonest and lacking knowledge in small engine repair, communication and customer service. Carry your equipment to Louisburg Tractor instead and buy from Home Depot or Lowes.PS - Mr. Solomon, Store Manager. Please dont bother to write a politically correct rebuttal to this post because it is clear you are aware of these issues or you would not have offered to refund the money we spent for the new Stihl blower we purchased. Spend the time training your staff appropriately and hiring trained technicians instead.

I have dealt with Triad equipment for many years through the rental division and purchasing new landscape equipment. I have always been more than satisfied with the products as well as service.

I will never do business with them again. Replaced unnecessary parts and took a ridiculously long time to repair in addition to an astronomical labor rate
