I like having vegetables without them being cooked in a lot of bitter and grease. And, they change up the evening offerings every several months.

Overall the foods were greatThe ribs were tough but the fried chicken was outstanding ! Best of all the waitress who was assigned to the area where we were seated was just an outstanding individual who represented the company as well as one could do. She had the best attitude and was very cheerful. She was like that with everyone that she serviced. The one big downside was that the mens bathroom was so nasty and with the smell of strong urine just made one feel as if they would throw up. Whoevers responsible for the sanitation of the bathroom should definitely be fired. However, I still give it a 5 star based on the foods and the outstanding efforts of the workers.

This is a nice clean golden corral. We hadnt been to one in a long time. The food was good enough but we found that if we didnt tell them items were out, they were not being filled back up. This seemed to be true for at least butter, bourbon chicken, fried shrimp. It was almost too much work to get get the food you wanted to eat. We really enjoy all you eat but we never eat enough for the cost.

Great service, food is always hot and fresh. Never been disappointed. Definitely recommend. Used to not come to this location months ago because I always had a bad experience. The last few months have been great. I bring my family here at least once a week. They all love it.

I love Golden Corral because I can eat anything I like in the quantity I want and take as much time as I need. They are having their Shrimp and Sirloin special again which is wonderful. The smoked roasted sirloin is great! You have 3 types of shrimp from which to choose. The fact you can add anything else you want makes it even better.

The food was always cooked and prepped fresh. The waitress also did a great job taking care of all of us, drinks were always full and when we was done with our plates she was always there taking them from the tables. Thank God for all the people at The Golden Corral to make our visit very comfortable.

Ive always loved Golden Corral. I love the wide variety of comfort food. Ive always encountered decent staff at this location. Some of the food is worth skipping, but for the most part Ive always had a pleasant experience. Other than the fact the price is fairly high; $43 for my husband, myself, and our 5 year old boy.. For the quality.

We reserved a room for 30 for our daughters College graduation celebration. The food was good and our waitress, Amber was great. We arrived at 6:00 and closed the place at 9:30. The best part was that everyone ate what they wanted and we didnt have to clean up. It was a great party.

Good. Not great. Crowds aside, which was expected, the food was just OK. Would have liked to see a greater selection. What they did have was mostly tasty. The stuffing was too wet, almost standing in liquid and the mashed potatoes were better suited for a spoon than a fork.Nothing was bad enough to keep me from returning but not my first choice.

The hostess had a great attitude and the restaurant was clean. The only thing that I absolutely dislike is a majority of the vegetables are seasoned with pork. I understand this is the south however not everyone eats pork. So unfortunately I had to bypass the vegetables.

I am in here now, this buffet was the worst today. There was NO desserts and the food looks as if it had been sitting all day. No pizzas either. The ONLY things that looked good were the salad, steak and baked chicken by the tacos. These were the ONLY things i ate. A total waste of 15 dollars. The bathrooms were also terrible. I cant believe this because the ones up here are usually very good. I wanted my money back!!!!! Disappointed!!!

Exactly what you’d expect from a Golden Coral buffet. They had cotton candy which my partner hadn’t seen before, and all the food was notably fresh despite being pre-after-church rush on a Sunday.Andrea was an absolutely great hostess and definitely made my first Golden Coral experience remarkably pleasant. Would recommend this location!

It was really good. I had a build a burger (with crisp lettuce and tomato) which was cooked just right! And my son loved the corn bread and biscuits...he always chooses lots of bread lol... I only wish they had creamed spinach which would have made my day....and our waitress was super nice and checked on us several times,which is important to me. The lady at the cash register acted like we were old friends come home to eat! I love people with joyful personality!!

First visit. Found it to be very good. I tried a steak and it was just the way I liked it. The waitress was also very pleasant. I will certainly go back again. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal!

This is the great of the golden corrals in the area. Food is good and fresh, service is excellent. The only negative is the ice cream machine never works properly.

The person that greeted us acted like we were bothering him and I didnt feel like my business was appreciate other then that the service was ok I will not be going back to this particular Golden Corral for that reason. I hope management gets to see this because thats a situation they should address. Especially when Im spending my her my hard-earned money.

The food didnt seem fresh. I was so happy with the location in Greensboro, i had high expectations for this one. It was extremely disappointing. The contrast between the two is very noticeable. The food at Greensboro was fresh, flavorful, the service was great. They were very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had about the food. At the Wake Forest the food looked like its been sitting a while. The steak was pre cooked where at the other location it was cooked fresh in front of you. I asked for a well done steak and it was still pink all throughout. If you have never been to a golden corral you might like it. But once you have seen how good it could be then see this place its sad. Its overpriced too. The Greensboro location cost less than $20 for two adults, it cost over $30 here for two adults. I wont be returning here. I hate inconsistency in restaurant chains. They need to step it up and take some pointers from the other location.

Today was the 1st Holiday that I have NOT been with my family for dinner....it was extremely busy but the entire staff worked endlessly to be sure each guest was taken care of ...the food was amazing and the atmosphere was peaceful....thank you so much for your service...I salute you all for making those of us who did not cook feel at HOME...

I love this place, the staff is always friendly and the food is great, wether its breakfast, lunch or supper, its all great.So, if you leave feeling hungry its your on fault, theres plenty to choose from... Enjoy!

Arrived around 7:30pm and it looked like they were already done putting out fresh food 2 hours before closing. By the time we got dessert at 8:15, they already took in the silverware. The hot food was ok, but the desserts looked like they hadnt been changed in hours. Im an ice cream fan, but I didnt get any because the machine was a mess. We will go to other Golden Corrals in the future.

Wife and I visited here on Valentines day. Not what probably comes to mind first, but they offer a wide selection, the food is prepared ahead, so you can see what you like before taking some, the person staffing the grill cooked me a steak (not sure if thats on the menu everyday). If you easily overeat, walk around first to see what they have. If you dont, you will eat way too much. I did like how they seemed to put a fair amount of effort into keeping the stations nice. Im sure patrons do not make that part easy.

I like take out. Especially convenient if you need some extra sides for grilling/cooking at home. Dont go for steak but other meat options are tasty. Gets the job done.

If I could give 0 stars i would. Visited this location last Golden Corral had always been a go to buffet for my family but we will never visit this location again. I emailed about the experience and no one has reached out at all. Rethinking going to any of these restaurants again.

The place is always pristine. I think they over advertise the quality of their food, however. To be fair, they serve local items, and Im from the Southwest, not the South, so theyre generally not serving things I like, but for the things Ive tasted they seem highly over advertised in quality. Pizza is always weird there, but if you like options, at least they have it. You know, theyre not pizza specialists (personally I think they could do better).

Food and variety was good but service left a lot to be desired. Ten in our party. Birthday for grandfather turning 69. We left excellent tip and gave her a large amount of ice cream cake. Wish wed picked another place. First time for a family b-day wont do it again.

This is one of the better Golden Corrals Ive been to. Good food, the price is a little much now, they keep going up. But they never seem to add anything new to the menu. Over all experience with this restaurant was positive.

Management always is a factor in the satisfaction of its customers. Here, the employees are always busy, but also willing to help! The food tastes much better at this location than any I have been to in other states. Going back! I dont go there for quantity, but...quality.

Buffet was good today as was the dessert bar. Usually if you are in line before 4pm, they usually give you the lunch special discount, but not today!

The food was great service was great just some of my favorites were missing like the sweet potato pie and the strawberries to dip in chocolate but those might be seasonal items!

Golden Corral used to be better than it is now. Im not a big fan of the food anymore. The bread rolls have decreased in quality and taste. Sadly, this restaurant is starting to go downhill. But, the customer service here gives it some points. Everyone is nice to you here for the most part. Even if the food isnt that good, at least it has a large selection for you to choose from.

My Son and I went here for Thanksgiving, we really didnt think anyone else would be there but the place was packed!Im very grateful they were open for Thanksgiving and almost every employee was super nice! We were soooo happy that Kim was our server, she is so wonderful and always happy and always makes my Son laugh. The food today was soooooo goooooood! We were able to enjoy steak, ham, fried chicken, fried fish, meatloaf, bread, salad, cake and so much more! Yep, we are definitely full :)Thank you!

Disappointed with our meal xperience this trip. No macaroni and cheese at all for my kids. Pizza was cold and tasteless. No parmesan cheese for spaghetti. No white meat fried chicken, just thighs and legs. Hush puppies were way too greasy. Dessert bar was a solid mess with little kids playing in the food. Our total bill was $68.00 for three adults and 2 kindergarten age children. We will. Probably not go back.

Very disappointed! When my family and I choose to go to Golden Corral we always go to the Wake Forest location...because the food is usually fresh and the staff were usually very experienced and nice to deal with - We all went yesterday and OMG its was so nasty as far as the food and it seemed like someone forgot to do the ordering because there was not much to choose from no chicken breast was available, pot roast had no flavor and was watery, macaroni and cheese was tasteless, fries were good though and fresh rolls but Id rather not pay $14 per person for good fries and fresh rolls....All the food that was available was either tasteless or completely dried up (the rice was so dry that it had a crunch to it)....i didnt even speak on our so called waitress - but lets just say I had to go behind the work station to get our refills on drinks....FLAT OUT WORST EXPERIENCE!!!

Straight to Golden Corral right after church on Sunday makes my day. Love the food especially the sweet potato casserole. Sometimes the raspberry tea is too weak. But, I keep informed when this happens.

This place was AMAZING! Justine our server was so pleasant and sweet. She was so attentive to our needs (and it was 16 of us) The manager Devon (hope Im spelling that right) came to our table to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. That was the first time a manager came and even cared how we felt. The food, I couldnt complain about anything I ate. This all in all, was a very good experience. I will definately be making this my top and only Golden Corral

FANTASTIC!!! You know what, this Golden Corral (in Raleigh, NC) took me by surprise. I have always enjoyed Golden Corral, but this particular dining experience was just absolutely exceptional! The food was hot, fresh, and replenished in a very timely manner. The customer service was hands-down the VERY BEST I have EVER experienced in my WHOLE LIFE!!! Ms. Kim was our waitress, this lady was so amazing. Our drinks were never empty, she was personable and charismatic, she was very polite and courteous, never overbearing, and very knowledgeable about the food being served. They had some type of fish on the buffet (OMG DELICIOUS I HAD TO GET THREE OR FOR HELPINGS!!!) Now, I dont eat a lot of fish, I cant stand that fishy sea food flavor at all, and I particularly do not care for catfish but as it turns out, this was a type of catfish!!! Its called a Basa Fish apparently. How do I know?? I asked our wonderful waitress about it and she had already looked at the packaging earlier that day to find out what it was in case customers asked!!! OMG!!! Golden Corral needs to promote her to management with a quickness!! This lady really truly cares about the service she provides to her guests and she takes pride in her work! I would hire this lady on at my hotel in a HEART BEAT if only she lived in my town! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Aside from that, the property was very clean, the menu selection was fantastic. I am just SO IMPRESSED!! I have worked in the food/hospitality industry for nearly 20 years and this was by far one of the most delightful dining experiences I have ever had. YOU NEED TO GO EAT HERE, ASK FOR MS KIM TO BE YOUR WAITRESS, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

A friend told us to try out this franchise. My daughter, and I went for breakfast and I was disappointed in most of the foods. The chicken tasted like it was not fully cooked. I expected there to be more variety on the salad bar.Many tiny things I did not like. Im sure this place is great for others, but my family and I did not.

The waitress was very the nice, the food, not so much. Went there for breakfast on a Saturday with family. Breakfast meats too salty, the scrambled eggs were watery. I liked the French toast.

They should close their doors. The food selection was limited. The food that was available was mediocre at best. I was really disappointed. My mom loves this place so my husband and I took her and the kids. In addition to the food being terrible our service was not what it use to be. I really feel like I wasted $65. 😕

If I could give no stars that wouldn’t be enough justice for this place. I called and reserved a seating for 30 people. The manager at this Golden Corral placed me and my large party in a tight corner where everyone was close together with no space what so ever. If they cared for fire code, they wouldn’t have placed us the way we were. The manager done nothing to fix the problem. There are two party rooms in this Golden Corral and yet they thought it was right to place a party of 30 in a tight corner. Also to include the bathroom was not cleaned at all. Piss all over the floors and toilet seat. You’d think you were at a Waffle House the way the bathroom looked. Sad to say Waffle House never disappointed me like this Golden Corral has. I won’t be back to eat here and won’t bring a large party here ever again. I will not recommend this place to others now or in the future!

Vegetables fresh...salads fresh...chicken and pot roast tasted good but the steak was so tough that I couldnt eat any of it. To me I wasted my money because I wanted steak...not chicken and vegetables. Service good

Havent been in such a long time, but it this place still has great service and a comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress was so damn nice, asked us frequently if we wanted more soda (we wouldnt have been able to finish more), was very cheerful and polite. First section to the left, burnett lady, supper attentive. Awesome sevice.

It was good. The yellow rice not so much, some of the other things werent very good. If you want something fast with unlimited buffet, the corral is for you. The food isnt bad but it isnt amazing, its the slightest bit above average.

I love this place what can I say? I probably would give it 5 stars had me and my dad not tried to only deplete the buffet of fried fish! It was amazing, hot and fresh!

This location is probably actually the nicest location Ive been to. The food/buffet areas are all kept clean and organized. Staff is helpful for the most part, but servers arent very attentive after finding a seat/table. I would still prefer visiting this specific location because of the clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Food has gotten better over the years, as the prices have gone up. Id love to see a sushi station though.

Came here for breakfast with my family. My wife was trying to do something nice for me. No soda was avalbile. The good tasted like rubber, and to boot after not having what we wanted they still charged us full price for everything.

Selection and food was good. The banana pudding was not made well, it barely had bananas or cookies in it. It was more whipped cream than anything. That was very disappointing for the wrap up of my meal.

Price at $15 and they dont even cook steak fresh anymore.

The food was okay. When we got there I saw a lot of empty food pans on the buffet. The rolls seem to run out very quicky and wasnt replaced fast enough. Our waiter was amazing! He was attentive, nice, and did a great job. I think his name was Joey or Jonsy but he was truly amazing!

So gross. I didnt eat or drink anything. Asked for my money back & they refunded it. My BF ate as I sat and waited for the food poisoning to hit him.

Usually I love this place but unfortunately today I was unpleased. Behind the register was absolutely filty. Things were on the floor like it hadnt been swept all day. The floor also looked like it hadnt been mopped in some time, almost dangerous to walk on because it looked very slippery. They also ran out of clean silverware on one side of the room. Im sure someone was put in charge of replenishing silverware as its being used. Lastly, I love their meatloaf but the bottom was burnt today which left me very disappointed.

Fresh food hot and delicious. A large variety of choices. Family and wheelchair friendly. Our church senior group meets here every third Saturday each month.

Typical buffet food. It is clean and the staff are friendly. The baked potatoes could have more toppings to choose from. Over all ok.

No tables that seat 4 people. They roped off a whole section on a Saturday for a party n consequently we had to squeeze into a 2seater. but the food was good n our server was decent

My only complaint is that its so cold inside youre food gets cold super quick. So Im not able to finish my whole plate before it gets cold. Its almost like they dont want you to sit down take youre time and really enjoy your meal.

We loooove to come here for breakfast...there are so many choices (from oldies like fatback and corned beef hash to custom-made as you watch omelets to a bar of crisp, cold fresh fruit) that everyone in the family fills up. Very clean and popular but not too crowded. On our last visit, a lady was sitting by the door telling customers thank you as we left and giving out $1 off coupons! Check the website to find out when kids get cheap or free meals...I cant remember off the top of my head.

We got a refund. The manager just smiled at us. And told us there was a problem,not. Then she said sorry in a rude way. The young hispanic female cashier. Told me we lied. And not a senior citizen. And she tried to stick her sharp fingernails into the skin of my hand. And would walk away in the middle of wait on me. And not come back.

If youre looking for more food than you can possibly eat Golden corral is for you. Probably not the healthiest of options out there but once again when quantity is King this is the place for you. The Golden corrals that Ive been to have all had really nice staff and are always eager to help.

Watched a child drop food on the floor then pick it up and put it back on the buffet. No one is paying attention to what is going on. I have to wonder how many times that happens on any given day...

It was really 0 stars. I planned a nice late afternoon with my son after school, so we went to GC for an early dinner then bowling, Well I was super disappointed with the WF GC it was dirty, sticky, food prep was unacceptable. I wasn’t the only one complaining about it. We both got sick while we were bowling so we ended up going home spending the night on the toilet. I highly recommend you avoid this establishment. The hamburger was all gristle, the desserts were not appealing and I spent $30 with tip on the worse food I’ve ever seen or eaten, my poor son was miserable, it ended up being a bad night. Thanks Golden Corral for a wonderful evening. Will not eat there again matter of fact I might go ask for my money back. I will report this to the wake county inspections office.

I like buffets and I like Golden Corral. This one is, in my opinion, a cut above in quality of food. Its not that other Golden Corral restaurants are bad, because they are not, but this one seems just a bit tastier. The staff is great as well.

I visited this place on a Saturday afternoon and it seemed have a decent selection of southern cuisine. The sirloin was a bit tough because of the way it was cut against the grain and they seemed to run out of fried fish and slow to restock some items.

The cook who makes the omlets at breakfast needs a serious haircut and beard trim. Hes cooking our food and theres hair everywhere. At least have him utilize a hair/beard net. Otherwise, I like it here, I just question the sanitary aspect.

Not as good as it used to be under the old management. It used to be spectacular, but there is now no variety and the quality is poor.

Its a good plave for variety, the tea is good, nice dessert bar. I gave 4 stars because I think they need to do a better job keeping the food available for customers.
