I have been having issues with my 1990 vette since I bought it second hand. I went in and they easily set an appointment and I brought it in at 8:00 this morning for installation of all new injectors.Only 3 1/2 hours later, I got a call at 11:30 and they had my baby done and running like it is a brand new car!It is running better than it has since I bought it!! 😀I am very happy, happy, happy.I scheduled another appointment for installation of new headlight motors and door spring. And they quickly got me an appointment that will work great for me.Great people and very professional!!!!I will recommend them to anyone who needs help with their vehicle and I will happily bring my vette in when I need work done to it.THANK YOU!!!

We were running a bit late and they said no problem and still fit us in! Due to only having one vehicle, we waited at the shop. And they were nice enough to offer food and drinks to us while we waited! Above and beyond nice!Came in for a brake change just to be safe and to check everything was fine for our working Truck. Turns out brakes were in great condition and Alan didnt even charge us to inspect it! He said he charges for repairs and that wasnt needed today. Wow. Definitely a customer for life and thankful for his honesty! I cant believe the kindness here and how taken care of we were. Thank you so very much you guys!!

Best service I’ve found on maui! Most places give you the run around and take hours and hours just for an oil change. After dropping off my vehicle they gave me a guaranteed finish time and ended up being early. They’re extremely professional, kind and timely. 10/10 do recommend!!

Theyre honest thorough and do it right the the first time with no surprises or hidden charges. U would recommend them to anyone! I only heard of them a couple weeks ago but since then Ive taken 3 different vehicles in all with different problems...so far theres nothing they cant fix and they always call first before doing the wo r so theres no surprises. I called about a Prius I was considering buying. I wanted an inspection, and especially the battery checked out. The mechanic I talked to was very transparent about what I should do and even recommended against providing the service I was requesting because he was pretty confident I shouldnt buy the car after I described it to him.

Super convenient and very professional work once again! Just an oil change and safety check, but it’s one stop shopping. I would usually go to the store to buy my oil and filter, go home to change aforementioned products and would still need to dispose of the old stuff. Visiting Island Automotive eliminates all those unnecessary steps for my oil change and I get my safety done at the same time, all while supporting local!!!

Alan and the mechanics here are top notch. Other shops in the area seem to overcharge and offer subpar customer service. Island auto crew are straightforward with their prices and very down to earth. Work seems to be professional top quality. I would recommend them over any other Wailuku auto shops I have used. Mahalo.

Alan and the crew took care of my Jeep. From when I was there and listening to Alan take calls and also when assisting me, you can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants to take care of every one of his customers. I bought/brought my own parts to get installed due to issues I had in my car and they were willing to install without question. Once I walked in and telling Alan what issues I had he already knew I had the wrong parts. Gave me a suggestion and also gave me several options to choose from. I choose the option that needed more work on their part and low risk on my end-- Alan was willing to help me no matter what. He even went above and beyond to get things straight with the company I bought parts from. Alan kept in contact with me throughout the process giving me quotes prior to doing the work, kept me updated on the progress and also let me know what issues they ran into while working on the car. At the end of all of this they got the issues I came in with fixed. I also had another issue that I did not mention to them because another mechanic told me that specific issue came from the body lift I applied to my car- which I did not know wether to believe the past mechanic or not. Alan showed me proof as to why that issue is happening and printed out a quote for part and labor to get that issues taken car of. Overall Alan and the crew is top of the line- no BS and like I said earlier they GENUINELY want to take care of anyone who walks into their shop. My Jeep will not see anyone else but Alan and Scott of ISLAND AUTOMOTIVE!

Alans customer service is excellent. He thoroughly explains the mechanical issue and gives an accurate estimate before doing the work. Scott is the best in his field with such a thorough understanding of the mechanics of a car. Island Automotive Center is number one!

Heard from a friend about this new shop that opened up. Everythings new and nice. Air conditioning went out and this heat has just been killing me. So finally decided to get it fixed. Spoke to Alan on the phone. He got me fitted in on the schedule. Prices are very affordable. I dont know why i waited so long to get it fixed. Wish I called this place sooner. The shop is easy to find. Staff is very knowledgeable and cooperative. Will definitely make this my new one stop shop for everything I need for my vehicles. Two thumbs up and Ill recommend to anyone and everyone.

Island Auto is very busy, but Alan and his guys are never too busy to be courteous and efficient.

Alan always explains exactly what needs to be done and gets my car fixed quick. What I like most is that they do not do any work without my approval, so I never get charged more than expected. The mechanics Scott and Colby, are very knowledgable and are the type to get the job done right. Been going to them since they opened and nothing but positive experiences! Very honest and hard-working mechanics

Very happy i found these guys!!! i was actually referred to them by another shop because i have a 2010 Toyota Prius and to be honest, not many people work on them. The place was real easy to find with big signs road side and a big private parking lot. When I got into the check in office, everything was super clean and nice, and they had a lot of seating, and a flat screen tv on the wall. Very comfortable to wait for your car. Alan was behind and checked me in. I told him I had a red triangle on my dash board and my brakes were making noise. He even asked when I wanted my car back by.... I told him asap.. He then gave me a down to the cent estimate within 5 minutes and my car was done in about 2 hours. I honestly did not expect that, as I took the day off work. He explained everything thoroughly and I felt like I understood exactly what they were doing to my car, and that I could trust them. After he explained what part I needed installed ( a high voltage water pump) and a brake job, I gave him the OK. I called 3 other auto shops for estimates on the same work, and they were the cheapest..They also let me speak with the person working on my car, Scott, found out he worked at maui Toyota for 4 years and was Prius certified!!! I found my new mechanics! I will definitely be coming here from now on, and I highly recommend them, these guys are awesome.
