This was my first time at the location at 1251 Austin Highway in San Antonio and I had a great experience. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The receptionist was very helpful with looking into my insurance for me. Ashley did a really great job with my X-rays and explaining the process. Leisha, the dental hygienist, went above and beyond with my cancer screening and my teeth cleaning. Dr. Castillo did a wonderful job informing me on what work I I needed done and how she would approach it. Last, but not least, the young lady who helped me with billing did an awesome job assisting me with my payments. I’m thankful I was able to get the right care for a great price.

I was greeted by my first name when I arrived for my extractions. Everyone from beginning to end treated me like they truly cared. Dr. Cioch is awesome, and so are her assistants. I highly recommend Aspen Dental In Waco, TX. I have found my lifetime dental office.

Edit: Spoke with their Patient Satisfaction team, so Im temporarily removing my negative review to give them a chance to solve the issue, so no one has to experience what I did in the future.Short version: Made an emergency appointment to get a bad tooth pulled, and they said they accepted my savings plan- All the way until it came time to pay for the service to be done, when apparently they didnt have a dentist in my network.With a dental savings plan, if they dont have a dentist in your network, then they do NOT accept that savings plan.The extraction was also a renamed simple extraction w/ a price of $284.I got it done at another dentist that actually took my plan, who didnt randomly rename it, and only payed $60(my plans simple extraction rate).

I’m in dire need of repairing teeth that were once fixed after a car accident. I’ve been too embarrassed and low on money to go. But once I walked in they were the most wonderful staff! I thought at first I’d just get a consultation that was going to be a sky rocket high quote. I thought I’ll probably just send it to a dentist in Mexico and go there for cheaper services. But here, they educated me on buying cheap insurance, knocking half off the bill. Gave me other discounts and coupons. They’ve made it so affordable that I get to stay right here and finally get my teeth fixed!!!! They’re the best!!!!!

I recently went in for a cleaning and was blown away by the kind Hygienist Cassidey. She was so gentle, professional and very courteous. I left there feeling very well taken care of. I am hoping that when I go back, shell be able to do my cleaning again. Cassidey was absolutely amazing!

I made an appointment for a cleaning and a hour and 15 minutes later I had x-rays and a drs inspection. I then waited and waited and waited still no hygienist. My time is just as valuable and I was on unpaid time from my job to be there. I dont appreciate my time being wasted. Never did get to see the hygienist before I left. I will never be back to this location. Ps. The doctor also had a very dirty mask on.

I had dentures made in Texas and I live in Topeka now and I promise you that the dentist and staff are some of the best people I have ever met. He made my dentures fit the FIRST TIME HE DID THEM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Appointment booked for 04/21/21. Then they call to reschedule because there is a double booking. Ok, no problem. Rescheduled to 4/28/21. Received call on 4/27/21. They asked what I was going in for, then suprise suprise, they claim they needed reschedule again due to being double booked again. Pretty sure they decided that there wasnt enough money in my visit for them. Dont waste your time with these folks.

Most of the staff were courteous however I felt like many of them were trying to sell me something other than what I came in for. I waited right at 2 hours in the chair before seeing a frazzled dentist who was not good at explaining things. (This was after she mistakenly went to the next room over thinking it was me)Every step of the way someone was trying to sell me something; from toothbrushes to cleanings (for teeth that were going to be pulled - all on the bottom), etc.Also, I ask about the discount plan before I purchased it and they were not honest with me. It wasnt until I got there that I found out the new patient exam was NOT going to be free.Few times have I been so disappointed with a dentist. I was in pain and needed help. They offered very little and wanted to push treatments that totaled over $5K. Find another dentist to work with.

Had a appointment at 11 I was put in a room and the dentist didnt come in until 12 and was told nothing about the wait no one checked on me to tell me what was going on

The partial put a hole in my gum. The partial is so cheap looking. I will never go back there again. They charged me almost 3,000 dollars for poor quality work. They trick you into getting a Genesis Credit Card that you can only use at Aspen Dental. But I must say that the staff is very friendly. Aspen Dental is not in my network. So I’m going back to my dentist since they have reopened their office.

I had some bad pain from three crowns done at another dentist. Dr. Crow worked on my mouth for about 15 minutes and was able to fix all of the problems and my pain went away and my bite down is so much better! So thankful she helped me!

Recently changed dentist office and started here. Love that you have early morning time and Saturdays, it makes it easier for working folks to get in without missing too much work. First appointment was great, everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly. Billing was reported up front so that you knew exactly what your portion would be. And they will work with you on payment plans if needed.

One of the worst dentists I have EVER been in!!! The female dentist and the receptionist were two of the most disrespectful people Ive had to be around! I have two abscessed teeth and I had to ask if I did, then I had to ask if she could pull them. She told me shed have to make sure she has time on her schedule even though my appointment was set for an extraction!! Completely disappointed ☹️

I only go to the dentist when I absolutely have too, but my experience at Aspen Dental was very pleasant. I asked lots of questions, and Bree answered them all patiently. I will be having my dental work performed there.

I think it is really cool that they offer a free exam for new patients with no insurance. The dentist assistant I had was so sweet and nice, the dentist was great too! I would have given 5 stars, other than the end of my visit. After my exam they said my teeth were fine but I should come back for a routine cleaning. The girl making my appointment told me the cost and it was almost twice the amount listed online! I was confused and felt like I was being taken advantage of. When I asked about the price difference the girl offered me a “discount”? If I had not checked the price online I would have been charged so much more and I feel like a lot of people are being charged incorrectly here.

Guys!! It looks to me like they tell everyone to come at the same time. I got here 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment to complete paperwork. Its now 30 minutes past my appointment time and the office staff just told me that I still have awhile to wait because 3 patients are still in line ahead of me. They said that the long wait is caused by covid restrictions and they have no intention of changing their scheduling practices.

I HIGHLY recommend you stay clear of this practice for many reasons. The only reason I would say this practice should be praised is the kind people in the front when you are there. Besides that, there is very little to trust about this office.On two occasions, including the very first appointment that was scheduled, they had to reschedule because the correct person I was to see was not going to be in the office the day of my appointment. Instead of knowing this ahead of time and notifying me well ahead of the date, they called the day before my appointment to tell me and reschedule. I had to rearrange my things to make sure I was available on the day of the appointment, but they could not do the courtesy to notify me more than the day before.On one occasion I had a major tooth emergency. They told me that they could do nothing for me until two days out. I got into Central Texas Endodontics (I highly recommend them), and while they could not repair the tooth that same day, they did look at it and prescribe me medication to take care of the major pain until they could fix it. It took the Central Texas Endodontics doctor five minutes to look and prescribe something to me so I was no longer in pain. Aspen Dental could not spare me five minutes.Finally, upon telling them on this last straw after making sure I was in town for the appointment they then cancelled the day before, they tell me that I have money sitting on my account for months. Instead of refunding me money right away, they let it sit on the account until I brought something up where they then said it would be refunded.It seems from Corporate to the store, this place cannot be trusted to assist the patient so it is my recommendation to stay very clear of them!

Posting for my 80 year old mother-in-law who can still drive and is still sharp. This office set an appointment with her for a cleaning but they didnt do a cleaning. They tried to sell her electronic toothbrushes and cancer screens. She had to come back later that afternoon for what she thought would be her cleaning. NOPE. They told her she needed a crown. She has now made two trips to this office and still has to return a third time for a cleaning. She is only using this office because of insurance.

I really like the employees here. From the moment I walked in they were fast, professional and kind. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes even if I came early. The first visit they explained insurance financing clearly and in a way I could understand. They always answer all my questions. I especially like Yevettd. She is very nice and caring. This is a great dental service.

This place is the best. I went in knowing I had to have a lot of work done and they made me feel at ease and also approved me for a 3,000 dollar limit to help pay for my dental work. Best place ever😊

My husband and I both had first time visits here, because our regular place couldnt get us in for months, and we figured it would be an ordinary dental place. However, that was far from the truth. The staff was EXTRAordinary. The doctors were so extremely kind and cheerful. You can tell this is one place that truly enjoys their jobs! We have not stopped talking about the wonderful care and experience we have had, each having visits on separate days with different staff. This place was a real blessing! I prayed that my husband and I could get in somewhere to help with his mouth pain and my own minor issues. God answered our prayers as well as blessed us with these amazing people!

Asked before going would my insurance cover what I was coming in for. Was never told anything and had a huge bill to thank for it. I believe the payment lady thought I left and went to restroom and she couldn’t wait to talk about it with the ladies at the front desk. Waaaaaay too expensive. For what they wanted to do to me and have me pay I could just buy an entirely new smile. Not for anyone on a budget!

I had my first appt with Aspen Dental in Waco, Tx. I loved it. The staff were plesant ans accommodating. I felt that they were viewing as a person, rather than just another body. I highly recommend them.

They messed my teeth up worse than they were to begin with. Never see the same dentist. Staff was friendly enough, but after admitting mistakes that were made with my care the flat refused to do anything about it.

The front desk person was difficult to deal with. Kept trying to get a minor to provide his drivers license that he doesnt have, sign paperwork hes not legally able to sign, and make financial decisions hes not responsible for. Then when I decided to use a different dentist, they refused to send the xrays to the other provider for 2 weeks. Thankfully the other provider got my son in the same day and did another set of xrays at no charge so broken tooth could be dealt with and root canal and crown could start right away.I used this same office for my own issues and my tooth is still sensitive and instead of figuring out why my crown didnt sit correctly, they drilled out a huge bowl shape out so it doesnt function for chewing. I gave up on my dental insurance and decided to go outside and purchase my own dental program and use a dentist who actually cares about his patients and how to help them get through their pain quickly and as inexpensively as possible. Also broke the amount into 4 payments. Not Aspen.

All the employees here have always been great at making me feel at ease and accommodating to ensure I was happy with my partials. The new dentist even spoke with me personally to help in correcting the issue I was having. Their attention to the customer is great, awesome. My concern is with the amount of money I’ve spent and the product itself. But I can appreciate that they are doing everything within their power to make it right. I would definitely say give them a try and see for yourself.

My first time to actually pick a dentist and this office has been great. The staff has been very helpful and kind. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and informed me of alot of things to do to protect my smile and what I need to work on as a patient. The main doctor she was totally amazing and very informative to tell me what would be done to get my smile back in order. I am very pleased with my service and look forward to my treatment with this facility

First time coming here and enjoyed my experience! They called and informed that I could come in earlier, which I did. They took me back did my x-rays and seen the dentist within thirty minutes. Definitely will continue coming to Aspen.

I didnt have any procedures done, it was just X-rays and a consultation, but they were super nice and made me feel quite comfortable, which is great because Im a nervous wreck at the dentist. Definitely going to keep going there.

Friendly staff, I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled a couple weeks ago and Dr. Baugh did a wonderful job! The only thing I would suggest is not having multiple doctors work on one patient...a different Dr. tried to come in and start without knowing what was going on....just a small (thankfully) problem that was quickly fixed.

My dental experience with this office has been good for both my wife and me, especially after we had a terrible experience at a different office in the Hewitt/ Woodway area.Recently, however, I had two different emergencies which both occurred on a Friday afternoon (Aspen closes at 1:00). When I called for help each time I was told to go to the Emergency Room! Imagine what that cost—and wait— would be!! Apparently Aspen provides no service to their clients between 1:00 pm Friday and Monday morning.

The staff at Aspen Dental were professional and friendly. Everyone that had a part in my evaluation were knowledgeable about their area, explained what they would be doing and what would happen next. At the end of the evaluation, I was taken to the office where the results of the evaluation were reviewed with the cost after insurance. Then my next three appointments were made. This seemed like a regular dental office and they took my husbands insurance. It appears they prey on people with no insurance and know how to bill them. On my last visit I was told in front of the entire waiting room that II owed several hundred dollars more even though, I paid what they required at each visit. I have premium dental insurance. Very displeased, I have never been treated with such disrespect. They did a bridge for me and screwed it up requiring several more visits. Their office was 30 minutes away. Go somewhere else if you have a choice.

Friendly staff that takes the time to explain your options. Payment plans available with easy scheduling. Dr. Daftary is really personable, and makes going to the dentist a calming experience. Highly recommend, and was well worth my hour drive to see them.

Ive never been to a national chain dentist, and wasnt sure what Id think. When I saw the dentist all concerns were put to bed. Every member of the staff was professional and friendly. They were attentive and considerate of my concerns. I recieved recommendations for my particular areas needing treatment. A plan was made and then the costs were discussed so I could make an informed decision. And all this was in my first visit which was at NO COST! I expect to be coming to Aspen in Waco for a very long time. They are focused on having patients long term, and they are doing what it will take to keep patients coming back.They also offered a financing option for procedures that are more costly like Crowns, root canals and dentures.

I was greeted and made welcome for m visit . Everyone was pleasant and friendly. We were all very safe from the covid. I will be visiting this facility again for services when it is opened for full service.

My experience this time was far better than all of my previous experiences. Everyone was timely and I was in and out within 30-40 min! That has NEVER happened before! They even gave me a bag of toothpaste, dental floss, tooth brush and mouth wash. They have also never done that before. I was very pleased this time.

I was in horrible pain when I called them becasue of a wisdom tooth problem. They got me in that afternoon to see what they could do. The next morning I had an appointment for getting them pulled. Other places I called said it would be 600-900 for 1 tooth. They only charged 330 (or around that.) I have never been to a dentist so kind and caring. They will always have my repeat business.

The staff was amazing. So sweet and friendly. They really cared about my pain and they offer payment plans for major work. The dr was extremely cautious with me due to other illnesses, but she was so thorough with explaining what needed to be done and how we could do it best saving me money! I had previously went to stonehaven and it was going to cost 10000.00 for my treatment. At aspen all the above is only 1060.00! That includes a partial and tons of other work. I LOVE this place totally reccomend it!

I need some very extensive work on my teeth, therefore, I have gotten 3 different opinions. Aspen Dental Waco office has been the most kind and efficient if the three.They have made me feel very comfortable with their services and I look forward to them restoring my teeth.

Dr. Baugh did not stop until she had all the pieces out of my gums. I definitely recommend them for your dentist needs. Also Irene was great and patient care rep Bree and I’m not sure if the other lady. I’m not sure the dental assistant that did my X-rays but they were all awesome!!!!

I went in for extractions and dentures and I honestly must report that I had the best experience imaginable. From check-in through follow-up, I received warm and personable care from ALL the staff. The procedure was an emotional ordeal for me in thought but after mustering enough courage to have it done, I dont believe I could have found a better facility with better staff than Aspen Dental. Seeing my new smile for the first time brought tears to my eyes. I was overjoyed by the outcome.Dr. Hussain is amazing with excellent bedside manners. He made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire procedure. The various dental assistants that tended to me were remarkable. I regret not getting each of their names to give them each a shout-out. Joanna was patient and precise when explaining my financial options. She probably left the biggest impression on me. Edith shared with me valuable information necessary for my decision making. Yvette made me feel like she had known me all of her life. I recommend Aspen Dental to anyone in the Waco area needing dental work. They are AWESOME!!!

Went in to have a tooth extraction done as a walk in. The staff was courteous and professional. I was nervous due to this being my first extraction and surprisingly it went better than I expected. The Doctor was great! He completed the procedure quickly and with no pain. I recommend Aspen Dental to anyone nervous about dental visits because they make you feel welcome and comfortable.

I had a horrible experience! I had extreme tooth pain. I called and told them everything they needed to determine possible treatments. All of treatments include a specialist. Which they knew was not on staff. But the booked my appt anyway. So I had a co pay and I still had extreme tooth pain. So no I would not recommend Aspen Dental. I think they are a corporate dentist and they certainly act that way.

I was treated kindly by the staff from my first call for an appt. I needed a crown and was not familiar with that procedure-everything was explained in detail down to the cost. It took 2 visits and finished today. There was a small problem getting my partial to fit properly but Mari and Jim spent an hour working to get it fitted properly. Great job. I would recommend calling for an appt.

It was a very nice visit it all I had done was a tooth pulled and it was very quick and simple. The staff was so friendly and kept me busy why I waited on the dentist bc my only down fall was that I waited almost an hr and a half after my actually appt to get my tooth pulled and at least an hr of that was just sitting in my room waiting for the dentist. But other than that the staff are great and they got it done quickly and for a reasonable price even though I didnt have insurance.

I was very comfortable with everything that was having to be done since it was my first visit. Yvette, my Tech, was very friendly and full of smiles. I was also happy with the rest of the office personnel who were also smiling and very friendly. I had scheduled the appoint for 11:00, arrived 15 minutes early (10:45) as requested, was asked to fill out paperwork I had already filled out online, and wasnt called into the back to begin my X-Rays until 11:35. The entire visit felt very rushed, with me seeing the dentist for 10 minutes, and the hygienist for 10 minutes but with so much waiting in between each step that I didnt leave until 1:30 PM (So a total of 2.5 hours in the office). I had a dental probing done and most of my periodontal pockets were in a healthy range, besides a couple of molars on each side being 4mm. I was told I would need a deep cleaning done for what was diagnosed as gingivitis. I was told no advice on what home care to do until my next appointment only you need a deep cleaning and well give you a toothbrush and a rinse at your next appointment I had to research after the appointment myself to find out how to take care of myself until then. Finally, when checking out with the office manager, I asked if what I needed would be a dental saline, to which I was told no however, on my care plan for my next appoint WAS IN FACT a dental scaling for my entire mouth, which can cause more harm than good for my many teeth that were 1mm-3mm healthy periodontal pockets. All-in-all my appointment was rushed, and it really seems as if everyone is too busy to 1) give you the correct information and 2) care about your dental health. Aspen Dental is more focused on giving you whatever treatments they can to squeeze a buck out of you vs giving their patients the advice and care they need for healthy happy teeth. I will not being having any more appointments here, and will be getting a second opinion from a private dentist. Aspen Dental has made me lose all faith in corporate dental agencies.

This is a wonderful place to get your dental work completed. Staff is awesome!! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Explained everything up front on what services would cost. No pressure to do all at one time. Highly recommend. Makes going to the dentist not bad at all,

Thought I would never smile again, yes I was a mess and thought the worse. Then I saw a different dentist, a woman, and I don’t think I will ever pronounce her name right but she is wonderful. Dr. Daftary! I had a bad tooth abscess, she gave me antibiotics and came in later to get it pulled. Never looked back since. Dr. Daftary is gifted, caring, and knowledgeable. Took time to discuss dental health and plans for improving issues. Willing to work with the individuals whole mouth not just an individual issue. She is very detailed and a perfectionist!Very pleased with my smile and the complements for my denture are never ending! Thank you Aspen and Dr. Daftary truly life changing for me. I would recommend o anyone, especially those who have fears of dental work.

I really enjoyed the employees! They are very personable and care about more than just my teeth. Ive always disliked going to the dentist, but Aspen makes that fear dissipate!
