Very disheartening at the level of professionalism from the manager Catherine at this particular location. I have used and LOVED Sports Clips all over America..... literally. I travel for work so being available to get to these fantastic places are a must for me!I stopped by this location to get a haircut (MVP) and as soon as I walked in I noticed the sign stating you are REQUIRED to wear a mask to enter. I look around the room and notice 2 patrons and an employee who are adorning a mask but not wearing it properly. I shrugged it off as it appears to be that way every where you go nowadays.I place my mask on and sign myself in. Wait about 20 min until Im called for my cut. This is where things get REALLY interesting! My barber tells me that his boss(the only employee I mentioned earlier not properly wearing her mask) is going to make me wear my mask properly. She overhears our conversation and comes over with her mask barely covering her mouth and tells me I need to wear my properly and pull it up. I explained to her that I observed several other people as well as herself not adhering to the same guidelines that she is imposing on myself.Thats when she pulled her mask up, mumbled something, and aggressively started taking off my cape yanking on my neck causing me discomfort. She then yelled at me and told me to GET OUT of her store!The barber that helped me apologized and was then scolded by Catherine and told to NOT BE SORRY! other vulgar phrases were still being mumbled by Catherine as I was leaving the establishment. I have never in my life felt so belittled and just completely embarrassed by a business that I frequented quite often.I recommend checking out the 2 other locations within 2 miles of them. Downright SHAMEFUL of Catherine to act this way. I hope management or the owners address her lack of basic social interaction skills when corporate calls them about my complaint.

Staff was all very friendly. My husbands first time getting a cut by an all woman crew. Nice experience for him to get pampered for once. I will tell you the products are expensive. We walked out spending $80 (that was with a $15 tip) was worth every penny.

The first time I went here It was great but the second time was horrible. I had to shave my head afterwards!!!!!!!!!!!

I love coming here, my favorite stylist is Sydney. I learned today to always just wait when Sydney is there to cut my hair. Im not going to put names here but I went in there today to get my hair cut and unfortunately Sydney was off at the moment so I tried another stylist. Shes Hispanic and o boy, she butchered my hair. I think she might use to shave sheep as a living or something. She grabbed the clippers and wjust went all around my head, as if she was giving a hair cut to a kid. Will never go to her again. She noticed I was clearly mortified and gave me a discount which I appreciated. Love you Sydney!

Sports Clips is pretty good in there and cut oh, I was going to Flat Top and its hard to find a hairdresser that can cut a flat top but its giving day they had one on duty but was a plus she did okay no complaints thank you

I have been going here for awhile now and the staff there is super awesome! Friendly and helpful. I always get my hair done by Melissa and she is the best! Nails it everytime!! If you need to relax and treat yourself while you are getting a spiffy new look I would highly recommend going here.

I went with my husband to get his hair cut and the woman with bright red hair made me feel very unwelcome. We were wearing masks and distancing ourselves from others but when I sat next to my husband she singled me out in front of everyone and made me get up so she could move my chair and measure out six feet between us. I understand having guidelines, and my family and I are very safe and accommodating to follow procedures, but to single someone out and make them feel like a nuisance when they are just trying to sit next to their own husband, I thought was very rude and uncalled for. It is not right to treat people like a nuisance unless they are violating social distancing or mask wearing requirements, which I wasn’t. Very rude.

My husband and I are new to the waco area so decided to come to sports clips as a safe bet since weve never been let down at other locations, but this was a horrible experience and will not be back. Karina was his stylist and I attached a picture of the back. Looks like she started a fade but had no idea what she was doing.

Worst hair cut experience ever. Even after we asked for someone who know what to do with longer hair and how to cut It shorter.. Now we are going to have to really cut it for it to look ok. Very disappointed. Didn’t even trim the top or measure the sides. Just cut all the underside hair and left top floppy not even a tidy up trim. Won’t ever go back. They said they had a special schooling for male hair cuts and knew exactly what to do. The lady we had just wanted us gone ASAP. They were all nice but that doesn’t help our hair problems now. Very sad my son lost his long locks and now has a chili bowl cut. It is ok to walk when your unsure. So wish we would have.

My little guy loves this place! My 7 year old is hooked on the little MVP treatment. Its a little pricey but the experience is worth it.The staff here is pretty good, a little disorganized and sometimes you have a lengthy wait because it seems just a bit, there really is no telling!I suggest looking for coupons as well before you splurge on a MVP, but this is a wonderful addition to Waco!

Had a terrible experience. I usually get my haircut at sports clips nothing special just a medium fade for work every weekend. My haircut was terrible and my wife suggest that they fix it. I had to shave my head it looked so silly. Dont get a fade management sucks. Said well thats the nest we can do.

For a guy, it’s the place to get your haircut! The waiting area is comfortable, and they have a very large TV with sports on. Each of the cutting stations also has TVs to watch with sports on. The scalp massage and hot towel are a great addition that makes this a very relaxing experience.

It is good but, Ive had 2 bad haircuts due to new stylist. They dont tell you they are new till they already cut a chunk of your hair. Just be weary who you pick and ask before picking.

The lady that was cutting my hair was very nice, and she seem to know what she was doing at first until she had other girls working on me to fix her mistakes, and even then, they still made my fade terrible, they edged my hair and it was Jagged she spent almost an hour cutting my hair, when it came time for checkout it came out to be $20! and then on top of that the screen said $5 $10 $15 $20 tip, no...... no...... no...... Im sorry, but NO was nice enough to give her a $3 tip, for the dam price i could have gone to a barber shop to get that exact same haircut, but done correctly, of my whole time since I been going to haircut place that is by far the worst hairhai ive ever had in a legit professional setting I apologize if I come off as rude, but its the truth only reason I would love to go here is because of the massage and the towel treatment other than that I wouldnt come, I will never come to a sports clips again this is the worst place to get your haircut dont come here! I used to go to the Waco store for haircuts then I moved back to Wisconsin. I was down by the Waco store for busy and stopped in for a haircut and the lady gave me my haircut and took a small chunk of hair and trimmed my.beard with out asking how I want it trimmed. Dont plan on going back there again when I am down in Waco tx

The first visit was awesome and seemed worth the 25 bucks for a haircut. The 2nd through my 7-8th visit has made me take up buzzing my head by myself before i let those women screw up my head again. Worst haircut my child has ever had !!! Regular stylist, Miranda was not available so another one filled in. She totally disregarded the printed instructions in the computer. She gave my child a buzz leaving his entire hair length 1/4 inch all over his head. He was devastated. Now has major anxiety when he needs a haircut. Never received an explanation from stylist nor an apology. Wish the system didnt make me choose any star at all. One MOD was sweet n apologetic, the other butted into the issue and was arrogant and rude.
