Foods a little meh but what do you expect when your paying for unlimited food on a budget; quality is definitely not a priority. But to be fair where else will you find steaks, pizza, fried chicken, meatloaf, catfish, burgers, ice cream, pie, and much more in one place? Little Jimmy and Aunt Carol will definitely find what theyre looking for here. If you expect Michelin five star cuisine you will be surely disappointed but if you come here wanting to gorge a little and not have yet another quarrel with the family on where to eat then this is the place for you. You and the whole school bus load of kids and family will leave satisfied and continue pretending like you enjoy being around each other.

The best...I am with The Senior Kiwanis Club. We meet there every Wednesday.....and most eat there. Golden Corral...is my favorite place to eat. I have moved a lot so I have eaten in many cities.....will day the one in Waco is now my favorite. Food is outstanding.... just a wonderful friendly ....everyone there are very friendly.... helpful... look forward to eating every Wednesday!!!!!!!

This one of the best places to go during school release times, just go in and get a to go plate and boom, on your way home in minutes. No 45min wait the the fast food lines with all the other parents. Win-Win!!

Were finally able to set n self service. Best feeling ever. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful, food was good, only one thing, they ran out of my liver n onions. You know it good when its all gone. Thank you all for wearing your mask when you preparing your plates. Lets keep each other Safe.

It was our first time there. We live in Temple, TxThe food was amazing!!!!I was sad because I didn’t see any Lima Beans but everything else was great. Customer service was great also.When we’re in the area we most definitely will be going back!!

This location is alright. I wish they would have put bigger portions on the bar. After 3 people hit the same item it would be gone. Also wish the place was a bit more clean. The floors mainly. The staff were all pretty great though and the food I could get was great.

Good place to eat but has a hard time keeping up with the flow of people. Often out of one food or the other. It needs more variety for a buffet. Tea, water needs to come with the meal.

Love the senior discount. They always have a great variety. Get out for under 10 including gratuity.

The Waco Golden corral is always been pretty good a lot of my standards for food should taste like come from this Golden corral until I went to another Golden corral somewhere else and I now give it four stars instead of just three

I did not have to wait in line at all. I got there about 6:15p.m. all the food I got was hot if it was suppose to be hot & cold if it was suppose to be cold. The drinks was filled as soon as our glasses was empty. All I did is raise my glass up & the waitress was there. I like that kind of service. Only disappointment I had is there was no watermelon but plenty of other fresh fruit.

Clean and food items were well stocked andwere at the right serving temps. Good quality for the price point. Service could have been more attentive.

Came to Golden Corral tonight for dinner and was not disappointed! Greens, meatloaf, steak (shout out to the man on the grill!!), stuffing, catfish, fried chicken, blueberry pie, carrot cake and the ice cream was ice cream and not ice milk! Thanks for a great experience tonight! All the staff were kind and accommodating from the cashier to all the cooks and servers!

We went for dinner, earlier tonight, at this restaurant, and, found that 90% of the employees were wearing their mask, under their chins! These were the people stirring the food and the man cooking over the grill!! They were right over the food... no protection!! I guess Golden Corral knows better than the scientist..... I mean, I am sure that they care about their customers, that are spending their hard-earned money, enough, to protect them from a deadly pandemic, so, they must have been advised that wearing a mask underneath your chin and on your neck protected people. I had not been made aware of that yet! We made it to the cash register and asked the girl why this was and very quickly she let us know that they did not even have to wear them and believe me it was not said nicely! We left without eating! We will not spend our money at a business that does not care enough to protect its customers! It is a selfish act to not wear a mask; it is saying to others, I do not care what happens to you, I do not care if I am carrying the virus, without even knowing it, because, my comfort level and my need to do what I want to do, is more important than your life! Shame on Golden Corral!

Family wanted to eat here and we realized that a person with food allergies this is not a place to go. I have a wheat allergy and my husband thought I could eat steak from the grill until we seen them heating totillas on the same grill. As I went thru there really wasnt anything that was safe that I could guarantee hadnt been cross contaminated. The rest of my family enjoyed their meal

Good hot food! Steak & fried chicken were excellent! Peach & apple cobblers were not that great! No complaints though. Will return.

I brought my kids here Sunday evening to enjoy a nice buffet, as it has been quite some time since we have had the opportunity. We were not disappointed in the food quality, which was quite good. The staff was friendly, and the plate carts as well as the buffet itself never seemed to be empty, despite the restaurant being fairly busy.

Food is fresh. Service is great. Restaurant is spotless. Workers wear mask at all times.

This is a large buffet featuring home-style American cuisine. They feature an indoor made to order gas grill with fresh steaks and chops, many standing roasts and hams with all the sides you would care to want!

Roast was wonderful! Desserts were ok. A fly in the sour cream.

Food was good to many employees working could not find a table for the employees walking in front of us and cutting us off from sitting down at a table. Same problem when we were coming back with our food.

Ok if you like buffets. Usual food, nothing special. The place not that clean.

Food was not seasoned like it use to be. Did not taste great. Maybe it was an off day. The corn on the cob was the only thing I could eat that tasted right or okay. Too mluch money for what we got.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my wife, my two kids and her family out to eat there Thursday night May 6th. That night all of us were vomiting out of both ends. Then today we all spent laying in bed feeling like we are dying. Only one of my kids didnt get sick and thats because he only ate their fruit and nothing else.

I brought my family here and it was a decent experience. A lot of the food had been overcooked (pretty bad) which kinda killed my appetite, Sundays I realize are when its best to eat here. Elderly saviors, to my rescue!!

Huge disappointment. Have not been here in close to a year. Took my mom and brother for mothers day breakfast. Apparently they no longer offer a breakfast buffet. There were no more than 6 holders with breakfast items. And everything I did get was overcooked or burnt. Will not go back. Extremely disapointing.

Steak cooked to order! So many yummy comfort foods to choose from, and lots of delicious healthy choices available. Fish, chicken, BBQ, and more...And did I mention the steaks?! Beautiful Texas steak!

One of my favorite places - currently I only get my food to go. They have gloves and to go containers available at the door. You make your own plate - pay the cashier - and go.

We havent been since pre-Covid. The new regulations due to covid werent bad, but the lack of food was. Waited almost 20 mins for bacon and when it finally came out it was so overcooked it was rock hard. Theyve definitely taken quite a few things off their menu. Our waitress was wonderful though, very attentive and kept checking on us.

Very friendly server and the food was really good and fresh. I enjoyed this location. The only problem was apparently a toilet in the ladies room over flowed out on to the carpet as you walk into the restroom. It wasnt properly mopped up in the restroom either. The carpet at the doorway was VERY wet. Nasty.

Greater experience than expected.My own skepticism for dinning here on a weekend especially during the pandemic has generally not considered golden corral as a choice of dine-in but my experience here lately was very enjoyable. Quality of buffet line was excellent & the staff/waitresses were very nice and helpful. I will gladly be returning soon! Thank you.

I usually find something wrong with eggs anywhere other than home but they were perfect everything was delicious I had 3rds. Daughter had been disappointed at the absence of the chocolate fountain but they made it right with the pre dipped marshmallows

No social distancing and people standing over the buffet screaming and talking over the food. I had already advised my husband that I did not want to eat at this location. We ended up walking out. Just disgusting.

Th I s is my preferred Golden Corral, even tho 45 miles from me.I like the variety.Tried barbecued chicken for 1st time->tasted more like barbecued weenies.Was sad after going there for their delicious chocolate icebox pie & there was none.Hopefully next time.
