Set an appointment for cleaning and inspection for 8am, driver got there at 7:55, I got there at 8:07, but by 8:05 he was gone. no calls from the driver saying Im on my way, no calls from the front office, just left. This company clearly is operating under the idea that we - the people paying for the service - are an inconvenience and should be treated as such.
Claim same day service on the website, first available service 5-days out.
Used J and J to inspect/certify our septic before our house could be sold. They did the inspection and gave us what I thought of the certification, but it said they wasn’t able to certify. They of course charged us for the certification. After several phone calls the company still could not explain why it was not certified. They said they could come back, but would have to charge us again. We ended up calling American Construction and Septic they knew right away what needed to be done and got the job done the next day. There are other septic companies in the Vista area and I recommend any of them after dealing with J and J.
Our septic tank needed to be pumped so I uncovered the lids and looked inside. To my surprise the first tank had a blanket of baby wipes about 6-9 thick. We dont use baby wipes. Our septic had been pumped at the time of escrow by Abbott septic service, but apparently they didnt bother to deal with the baby wipes. I called JJ septic and by chance the owner/president answered and I explained the problem. He said they could take care of it and clean them out. The guy that arrived was Dan and he looked at it and said hed do his best, not exactly what I was told but I went ahead. He got it completely clean/empty! All the baby wipes gone and Im a happy camper!!!!!
Was there on time, service was as expected, cheaper than some and had a coupon! Will use again.
These guys SUCK! DO NOT USE! If I could give them no stars I would, but the system makes you choose at least one. Service technician was rude and gave wrong information regarding code requirements of our septic system. Service Manager Scott also gave me old San Diego County code information that was incorrect. We verified with the code requirements with the County of San Diego. When I explained our situation and asked for a partial credit, Service Manager Scott said he does not have to work with people like me. Really? You call that Customer Service!
RUDE and do not even give a usable certification... STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!
