I love shopping at this store. It’s sometimes like a treasure hunt .. I have never had a negative experience. The produce is excellent. I highly recommend shopping there. I’ve told many people and friends about this store. .

The cashier was rude. At least have fun while your at work. If the customer(s) dont respond, ignore it. Move on, scan as you go.The part that I didnt like is when she put the money on the table instead of handing you the change. Looked away and didnt even bother to say have a good day.Why is she still there? I dont knowI think her name was Alma

I do not recommend anybody going to this store. We are in a middle of a pandemic, and they are not taking any precautions! Employees do not wear their mask, they do not sanitize their carts, and they let customers walk into the store without a mask. This is unacceptable, if you want to be safe, please go to another 99 cent store.

I liked it a lot better when everything was .99 and there were no surprises at the register. As far as the store goes its organized and the produce is always pretty fresh.

Going into this store was my worst mistake. I witnessed dead roaches, and I believe a rat. I tried looking for my necessities as quick as I can, and I had a store manager tell me “well damn B-word, calm down.” I left with nothing. If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. 0/10 do NOT go inside.

Me and my grandma decided to come in here looking for gardening tools & floral arrangements. Very upsetting to see the employees could not help her as she struggles to speak in English, so they pointed to a general direction of the tools she was looking for and I had to step in. The employee just walked away, we wanted to talk to a manager but there was none present at the time.

Love this store as it has everything! Ive been able to find good quality baskets, well-priced bacon, all sorts of my favorite Mexican candies, and essential household items with good prices and without compromising quality. Not eveything is 99 cents, but its still well priced (e.g. oat milk at 2 or 3 bucks). With the pandemic, it has been complying with some regulations, it could be a bit better. Regardless its my favorite to-go neighborhood store🙌🏽

Very rude management, very crowded during the pandemic & no one was social distancing nor were there any enforcement from employees, some people even came in with no masks or masks down! Unbelievable. No concerns for the safety of customers or employees, never shopping here again.

I Dont live in Vista but is looking for a relative who has not been heard from in over a year but I received a call from a friend who told me that he shops in your store all the time, especially around the first of the month. I have tried calling your store several times but no one ever answers the phone there. Not even a voicemail so that a message can be left. If you have caller id, my number will be a Tx # ending in 4399. He is a black male in his 50s, bald, has a pipe and was on the thin side when last seen. If you know or seen this person in your store please have him call me, or his mother, neice, or sisters. Thank you for any help in locating him. I will be checking back here for a response.

Very organized.

I went there the other day and I was asking questions (as a customer should) because I needed help with something. And the manager named Josephine I believe was being so rude for no reasons. I tried to go to another worker that was around her name was Veronica I think. She was also very rude. They were both laughing and making jokes and I felt very offended. As a customer I want the employees to be able to help me not make me feel out of place. I love the store but those 2 workers there are so rude and don’t deserve a job! 😡 If I could rate my experience with them negative stars I would!!!

They always carry different things so the store is always changing. The fruit and veggies always seem old so be careful when you buy. Also the lines are always so long and only 2 registers open.

This location needs to get it together for health and safety rules. I found the customers were the worst. The lady behind my wife and I did not keep 6 feet away and was invading our space, even after my wife asked her to practice safe distance. She blow it off and acted like she could care less. She had catus plants in her basket. No food.Was back at this store 12/07/2020, too many customers at the check our lanes no social distancing. Dont think Ill be back to this location.

Like mostplaces these days, there were several bare shelves. I did, however score some bargains on fresh produce.

This store has poor service. I always go into a 99 cent and it always always has one register open . They were going to close and I waited 20 min in line trying to only get a price check . This is ridiculous. The box I had was open and the lady couldn’t do anything about it how ridiculous.

Place is clean most of the time. Staff is nice and friendly. They are always willing to help if your need it. You can find mostly everything in here. They have some good stuff for a dollar that goes for much more at regular stores. They also have things that are more than a dollar.

I shop here almost daily after my workout at Jazzercise. Great produce and prices on some name brand items. Today the employees loaded up carts with their summer water toys and party items, brought them to the front of the store, and put FREE on all the carts. It doesn’t get any better than that.Thank you 99 !!!

What can you say about 99 Cent Stores? Well theyve got a lot of good products real inexpensive! There is a difference in between some of the 99 Cent Stores. Some stores depending upon the area carry different items than the other one I just left the Escondido store in about a week ago it had certain things that the Vista store doesnt have. Thats alright though the Vista store has things that the Escondido store doesnt have so depending upon what my needs are I want have to choose it that time which store to go to but Ill definitely be going back to the Vista one because it has a great selection of a lot of different things in there! Its wheelchair accessible handicap parking out front the store carries a lot of good merchandise and the cashiers in the workers are are very very friendly and help you find what you looking for!

Although they have allot of cool stuff, the San Marcos 99 has much more. So I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for, but thats ok right!? You win some you lose some

Has a lot of random stuff that you could use all the time. Seasonal selection is always good. But dont get tricked.... Not EVERYTHING is 99 cents. Its 99 cents and up store.

Has anything you could ever want. Well not really, but its got a lot of things for really cheap. What more could you ask for? Its 99 cents you know? The store itself is OK and not as well-kept as it could be. Its serviceable. A lot of good deals here as well. You cant go wrong.

Most dollar stores have only cheap stuff made in China or real small sizes of the real product or item. This store is different; they actually carry some 1st quality items at really low prices. As an example. I found quart bottles of major brand fully synthetic motor oil for only $3.00 per quart, whereas I pay over $4.00 per quart at Walmart. You have to know what you are looking for, but real bargains are available. Also, fresh and frozen food is available!

This store has pretty much everything you can think of literally. Its great for getting odds and ends or 1 time use things. Everything in the store is mostly 99 cents, and they sometimes have great buys if you hit it at the right time

Its a 99 cent store... This one is actually a cut above the rest. I think that they do a good job sourcing local produce, and actually end up with some organic products sometimes. I dont go in here unless Im with someone who wants to go.

They have too many items that are not $.99 cents! I think they need to rename it! What used to be an easy shopping trip turned out into make sure its not $3.99 its ridiculous. I rarely shop here anymore for that reason it defeats the whole .99 cent store shopping experience.

The only reason I didnt give it a five stars because they were completely out of the product that I need it. However I clerk told me where I could find it in another store that was two and a half miles away so thats the four star.

Good place to shop, they have name brands on some days. Go early morning when the trucks unload products is best time to get good things there.

I always buy my foil and wraps here, as well as aluminum baking pans. I bake frequently and its much cheaper to buy my dairy here, and they now carry feta and parmesan cheese.

All in all good shelves were changed but the isle were well labeled to direct you to your needs

The GF, like to come here just to look around, or to get things cheaply. I dont suggest getting and food items. However if you need household items, this is a store to get something on the cheap.

All prices END in 99¢, but a lot of things are now more than 99¢. You have to look closely at each item to see if theres another little price sticker on there. Too much hassle! Ill go to Walmart (where they now stock a lot of 99¢ items) and everything is clearly marked on the shelf.

Great Friendly Staff..Con: no more Left turn and you have to make Right turn then try go far Left lane so you need U-Turn but major sucks is when is heavy traffic during the work week or Saturdays.

I use to purchase the powder drink Wylers peach sugar free. $10 a wk. $40 a month or, one dollar per box. Recently I noticed you are selling a different brand Snapple Diet. The difference between the sugar free and Diet is, Im a diabetic. I no longer can buy the sugar free drink I so much enjoyed. Please reconsider selling the Wylers Peach sugar free again so I can go shopping there and buy my favorite flavor. Its such a clean, busy store and I miss it. Thank you for your time.

Nowadays it is hard to find the 99cent items in the 99 cent store. Today I got the small bag of peach. It was end up 5 dollars per bag, 1.99 per pound.And their service is still bad. Many employees are very rude.
