I highly recommend this excellent school in Vista. Mark and Martin are top-notch professors and have given personal attention to our now 6 year old. He has gained a great amount of core strength and confidence, invaluable for a boy with some special needs.

Awesome Jiu Jitsu school! Mark and Martin are wonderful coaches who are super knowledgeable in the sport. Multiple high level practitioners of all skill levels present. Wonderful place to learn how to defend yourself or get a good workout.

Have been training here for about a year with my 5 year old son. Professor Figueroa is a great instructor and is always willing to put in the time and extra effort to help you learn effective BJJ technique and enjoy the overall experience.Whatever your goal is - fitness, self defense, martial arts, etc. - I highly recommend training at Figueroa Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu... And if you’re not ready to commit yet, I believe they offer free trial classes now.

I usually at ninenineHQ in Clairmont. When I moved to Escondido, I didnt know where to go to train. This gym is a NineNine affiliate and they are incredible! Martin is very knowledgeable and is huge name in Jiu-Jitsu! I suggest anyone and everyone to try this gym out.

The contract is for six months apparently; so be ready for at least $600 plus initial sign up fee, plus gear...theyre still billing me; Ive asked them to stop...but trying to find who is now billing me has also been an adventure as the place that signs up new recruits and takes your credit card info, doesnt know how to stop taking my money apparently or produce the legal contract. Ive notified my bank and will continue to take legal steps to stop the billing.
