Love LOWES! The customer service has improved over the years and have become VERY helpful and friendly. I just made two big purchases and am very happy with both. They accommodate if you need help and returns are a breeze if needed. They also will meet or beat another competitors price.

I’ve been wanting to write this review for a while but today was exceptionally good. My veteran father was in town visiting and we went to Lowe’s. Merrick was so friendly and helpful to my dad who is hard of hearing. He was in training but didn’t act like it! 10/10.

Worst installation experience ever. I used to love Lowes. I purchased an installation and it has been months and still no one can install. They charged me 40$ for measurements and no one ever took measurements . I called to speak to multiple managers . They said they would reach back to me and no one has ever called me back.It has been hilarious bad. Definitely never purchasing installation ever again. Probably never shop with Lowes either unless only option. The best part is it is super easy installation range hood.

I have been very stressed out by incompetent contractors for the last 5 months. My bathroom is almost finished, now there were two little pieces missing to get the glass sliding door for the shower installed. I was sent from Escondido to Vista because they had 3 doors in stock.I was going there hoping they could just pull the missing parts out of an existing box and send me my way. I was so afraid to run into trouble with unwilling staff, that I was so very much relieved, when the assistant store manager Chris just went to the aisle, grabbed the pieces out of the box as if it were no big deal. It was A VERY BIG DEAL FOR ME. Completly exhausted from incompetent people delaying my projects, this was a huge relief. Things so small should not cost us sleep. But unfortunately these little things are what gives us grey hair.A big, big thanks to assistent store manager Chris.You absolutely made my day. I hope your management appreciates you. I for a fact do.

I should have gone to Home Depot. The Vista Lowes is poorly managed, has been for years. Empty shelves. No staff. A garden section thats a mess with a poor selection of plants and limited garden fertilizers.Then, to top it off, there was only one cashier, one broken self service register, and one self service register that only accepted cards on a random basis. I continue to be amazed that this store hasnt been closed and will only shop here if absolutely necessary.

Rose, Ernest and Tommy went well out of their way to assist me with finding the Gas line I needed for my dryer. The hose I was initially sent to get was backordered and Rose (in Lumber) could have simply left it at that. Instead, she went into the back to double check that they were out, and, when seeing that they were, confirmed with other departments (Ernest in plumbing) and Tommy that there was an alternative product we could use and that it would be the correct fit. I cant say how refreshing it was to have someone truly care about helping a customer and not just go through the motions. I will be doing all of my future home construction and product shopping here. Thank you three once again!

Although I havent actually measured, I feel like this Lowes is way bigger than others Ive been into. Ive only recently started going to this Lowes instead of an orange store near my house which I no longer wish to support. However, I havent bought much wood from this particular store yet. As an amateur woodworker, being able to get some decent whitewood when I need it is important to me, and I can say another local Lowes always has the worst lumber Ive ever seen. So, when my broken arm heels and I begin woodworking again, Ill update this review based on their lumber selection.

I prefer Lowes over home Depot as a pro. The staff in the pro department know me by name and always greet me when I enter the building. They are always very well stocked. If you need a lumber cart or flatbed they are always parked in the lumber department unlike home Depot where you have to walk through the parking lot for 10 minutes just to find one.

Want to shout out Trevor from the pro desk he is, and always has been excellent. He is always willing to help you with whatever you need. It’s the customer service that he gives that makes me want to shop at the vista Lowe’s location. Not sure what he’s paid but he’s worth his weight in gold

Waited over an hour to get lumber cut. Then the employee had an attitude with me when I told him he cut the wrong decision on the first piece of plywood. I used to work for lowes for almost 5 years in lumber and then another 4 as a 3rd party flatbed driver. I have never witnessed worse service!!!! When I worked for lowes I took pride in my work and treated everyone with respect no matter how I felt about a customer.

Wonder why retail is dead, go to this Lowes. No employees available to assist customers, long lines, self check out registers that dont work. Online pick-ups where they make you come in the store and then get you order wrong even though they say it is ready. Covid is not an excuse for poor customer service.

The salt for the Water Softener was in an obscure location and blocked by forklift and other carts- Actually had to ask a customer to help me since their were no associates anywhere. After I bought it I had to ask 3 times to get someone to help me load into the back of my car. Then it started spilling from holes in the bag all over my car. I ask the associate if he could get me another bag and he said Is it ok if I tape it? I said yes because I thought he had the tape with him. Had to wait for him to go back into the store. I never have these kind of problems with the other two Lowes stores in the area.

Many thanks to Fatima & Mario in appliances for helping my husband and I with a complicated situation yesterday / Sunday. We were supposed to have 3 appliances delivered on Sunday and only 2 were delivered . . . These were appliances we ordered online and not from their store. However, they helped us order the missing fridge which was not delivered (because they had one in stock in their store they could get to us) and helped get it delivered to us the next day- Monday the 25th. If they had not helped us, we would have had to wait until July 31st, to get the fridge that was supposed to be delivered on July 25th. Thanks to them - and Kyle from the Murrieta store - we received it July 26th. Thanks again!

The store itself is great. Been in there several times to shop in person with no problem. BUT, the contactLESS pickup is actually not contactless because they require you to provide a drivers license when getting your order. (This is not mentioned when you place the order online) it is mentioned afterwards so you find yourself being unexpectedly asked for a license when you arrive and thats even if you have your license with you at the time. Not to mention the name thats on your order has to match the name on your drivers license or else you cant pick it up. Again this was not mentioned when you placed the order but was mentioned afterwards. So my last name that the order was under differed from the one on my drivers license because as Ive said multiple times they dont tell you about the drivers license ahead of time! Point is I would not have done this type of service with them had I known that the drivers license was required and that contact was required.

More and more junk in the main isles, I get marketing but not being able to push a lumber cart to a cash register is a pain. I dread this place on weekends and around the holidays. Memorial day junk, how do they expect shopping carts or lumber carts to get down these isles. So frustrating. Only getting worse. Cannot push lumber cart through the store.

I had been dealing with American Home Shield about my refrigerator for two months. My husband is deployed and we have four little kids. I finally get them to agree replace the refrigerator and get the gift card to use at Lowe’s. I spent hours researching the fridges and made pros and cons lists. One of the most important things to me was getting it delivered ASAP (you can imagine, 4 kids at home and no fridge to cook out of has been a treat). I choose one that said it would be delivered on Thursday 5/20, I clicked buy and thought we were all set. Two hours pass and I get a message that it won’t be here until 5/23 between 9-1:30pm. Wow. Frustrating, but I can work with it. Sunday rolls around and I wait and wait. They finally arrive around 2:30 pm and come in pretty much immediately to tell me the refrigerator is damaged. You’ve got to be kidding me. The delivery driver is really forceful trying to get me to take it anyway with a large dent in the front and side of the refrigerator. Spent thousands of dollars on a new refrigerator, they damage it and want me to just accept it. I told them I can’t. That’s not fair to myself or my husband who spent all that money on. He says “okay well, you call the Lowe’s to get new one. We not take the old one. Bye”! Okay… great. I didn’t even know what number to call, the store it came from? Corporate? A warehouse it came from? No information and the man didn’t really seem to understand much English so I was on my own. I called corporate and was on hold for almost a full hour. When my call was finally taken the woman was very kind and helpful, even offered me a discount for the absurd experience thus far. I was very grateful and she told me I would get a call no later than 48 hours from the attempted delivery and a new one would be sent immediately. I thanked her, and we hung up. The next day I called the store because I got nervous having not heard from them. I can’t imagine not getting in touch with someone when your company was the one who screwed up the delivery on such an expensive item. I spoke to a woman in appliances at the Vista store and she was very kind, looked it up and saw my order. I explained my situation and she explained that their trucks only come this way Wednesdays and Sundays. She assured me that I would receive a call first thing today 5/25 to schedule my new delivery and my refrigerator would be on the 5/26 truck. Okay, no problem. I waited all day, no call. I call at 6:00 pm when I realized I was never contacted. The girl in appliances was new and left to work alone. She had no idea how to even pull up an order, let alone schedule a delivery. I started to panic when she couldn’t find any of my information. Then she got Betsy on the phone. Betsy told me I just needed to be patient and they would give me a call tomorrow at some point before one.. Reassuring. I explained that isn’t helpful at all since the truck will be gone by then and I won’t have a refrigerator. She said she understands but they need at least another 15 hours to process my order through another department. She told me if I didn’t get a call tomorrow (again, how reassuring) I could just call her back. Why would I do that? She’s been so helpful this far. I told her corporate promised me this wouldn’t happen and that the stores had at MAXIMUM 48 hours to process these things and turn around. She said she understands that’s the rule but they just do it differently. Okay…. I asked that the general manager call me tomorrow morning. I’ll update the review if they even bother or if they make an attempt to make it right. What a nightmare. If you’re buying appliances go anywhere but here.Edited to update—I know this will come as a huge surprise but no call from Betsy, General Manager, or the schedulers for delivery. However, the very next day around 4:30pm someone rang my doorbell. It was the delivery crew. No appointment but did have my refrigerator, thank goodness I was at home! Took about an hour to install and were out of my hair. Received the discount card promised and it was about $125 short.

I placed an order for 2 slabs of granite on the Lowes website and after waiting a month checked on my order only to be told that the items are not available and they dont know how I ordered it and that they would send out the vendor for a price tag of $99 to measure my countertops and then give me a price for the granite. They then cancelled my order without my permission. If this is not a bait and switch then I dont know what is. My contractor wanted me to buy everything at Home Depot and not Lowes. After spending a lot of time and effort and waiting for answers (it took them a month to tell me my order could not be fulfilled), I understand why most contractors prefer Home Depot.

There are not a lot of people on the floor, so they are understaffed. This makes it difficult to get help or a long time to wait or hunt someone down. Great above and beyond service from Heidi. I was having trouble finding a hose that the website said there were a lot of. They werent where they were supposed to be and I was ready to give up when Heidi walked through the door. I asked if she could help and she immediately stopped and assisted. She verified that there was stock on hand and got help to find them. A few minutes a couple of guys that worked in that section came along and qfter some searching in the upper shelves found the hoses and put them out. Much appreciated.

This Lowes store is my favorite of the nearby ones for North County residents. Escondido and Oceanside are crazy busy however this one not too bad probably because it is tucked away and doesnt have much other retail in the same parking lot.

Purchased 180sq ft of Statuario Porcelain tile 12x24 with Dustin from flooring at this location. The quality of the tile was poor, stains and foot prints which did not come out with scrubbing/cleaning the tile. Many of the pieces were also chipped/broken. We returned this tile and were promised Dustin would call the warehouse and get a new pallet of tile. This was on Saturday. Today Tuesday Dustin needed to follow up with us and he did not. We had to call him numerous times today and he was frustrated to take our calls and deal with our situation of getting the new pallet from the warehouse. One time I was even hung up on. After numerous calls from me to Dustin he called a few other Lowe’s in our area to see if they had the tile in stock (since the wear-house told him they can’t order more of the tile we bought). The Escondido Lowe’s on 620 W Mission ave location had this tile in stock. Justin who works in there flooring department was supposed to have 12 boxes ready for us. Upon arrival a pallet of tile was waiting for us. We asked Justin for assistance to open the boxes and look at the tile before purchasing (due to the low quality of the first batch, and not wanting to deal with another return). He said he can’t help us as his back is bad and there is NO other employees to help due to staffing. My husband and I opened all 20 boxes alone and went through the tile piece by piece. Justin left the department as he did not want to even be bothered to help us open the boxes and to cut off the tape. Numerous Lowe’s employees walked by numerous times looking at my husband and I struggling and not a single one offered help. Yet they were short staffed for help? The store manager Jay at the Escondido Lowe’s refused us a discount and he was not helpful either as he said he was busy “with other customers”. Justin even refused to reband/secure our tile boxes so we can transport them home safely. Worst customer service and quality of tile I have ever received/seen. We were not offered help to the car for the 12 boxes of tile. DO NOT BUY TILE FROM HERE. The quality is very poor and you will be treated even more poorly!

They deserve no stars. Their costumer service is terrible. These guys left me with no fridge, no dishwasher and no hood range for over 2 weeks. Items on my order were cancelled without approval. I have no idea why my order was cancelled. Their delivery service is also terrible no phone call to schedule delivery and when they did call they were outside. No communication to let me know my fridge and other items were not being delivered. I was asked to purchase a new fridge in the meantime until they could figure out when I would receive the fridge I ordered and they went ahead and cancelled my fridge order. Did they not expect me to notice they cancelled it or where they hoping I would forget I had a fridge on order. How do they expect you to install a dishwasher without the hoses needed?

I had the pleasure of shopping at this Lowe’s location recently and it was, without exaggeration, one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I was in the market for a washer and dryer, and unfortunately I tried contacting a few other stores that are similar in product offer first due to proximity and/or to compare prices.. Needless to say, after a series of let-downs and disappointments from said stores, I contacted Bob from vista’s Lowe’s Appliance department. This gentleman was truly formidable and was instrumental to my amazing shopping experience! I came in and stated my case, and he immediately began to go above and beyond, truly bending over backwards to ensure I left the store satisfied. I appreciated his benevolence a great deal, his genuine care, patience, his appreciation for military personnel, his humor and calm-speaking manner. Bob reminded me of why it is still better to have human interactions at a store instead of shopping online. In the end, they did not have the electric washer and dryer that I needed, but I was willing to place an order and wait for it because Bob made me want to give my business to this store.Excellent work selecting such an employee, and thank you, Bob, for taking care of us! We will be shopping there more for sure!

I called at 6:50 pm. Apparently there is a shift change at 7:00. I was on hold for 8 minutes and then “customer service” picked back up. I asked if anyone was really working in the department that I was asking to be transferred to. They put me on hold again. It was after seven then. I decided to drive to the store while I was on hold. I got to the store and still hadn’t been able to get connected with anyone in plumbing. I hang up when I get to the store. Oh. No wonder. It’s a skeleton crew. Nobody knows anything about what is available in plumbing. II keep hearing on the speaker “special” assistance in the paint department. Special? It’s just someone that needs Regular “ assistance. And that’s not the department I’m looking for but I just thought it was awkward. I asked for the manager. Apparently the fill-in managers name is Rose. But she was busy helping someone get some thing down from the upper shelf (stocking?) and couldn’t talk to me for another five minutes. I did finally make it to the Plumbing area and nobody works there after seven at night apparently.
