They were able to turn around a rig that needed to be resized in less than 24 hours. The price was very reasonable (I even thought to price I was given was just for the resize, I was surprised that it was also for the rhodium coating). My ring looks better than it did the day of the proposal, and now it fits. Will definitely be back for cleaning and any other jewelry needs.

After being married 30 years, I needed my wedding ring to go up a size so I could comfortably remove it when gardening, etc. I was referred to John Shakarian Jeweler and they did an awesome job. I have my engagement ring which sits down between two rows of gold and diamonds, so they had three bands to size. It fits wonderfully now and you cant even tell theres been any work done. I have been visiting Johns shop for many years. In the past, my visits were usually to have a watch battery replaced or to have a piece I already owned fixed (anything from getting a new jump ring on a necklace to getting a ring resized). Even though it was small work, John always took excellent care of me. Recently, I was in the market to design a couple of nice pieces for myself. I knew exactly where to go, having admired Johns work for many years at that point. I came in with loose stones and John worked with me to create a classic pair of earrings and a unique and beautiful ring. He worked with me to make sure I was happy with the idea throughout the process. He even sent me a high quality image of exactly what the pieces would look like to get my final approval before moving forward to making it. AND in the end, he came in right on budget for the one of the pieces and under budget on the other. I couldnt be happier.John is an excellent jeweler. We are very lucky to have him in our neighborhood.
