Very unprofessional. Was referred to Dr. Martin through military onesource for couples counseling. Military life, transitions and the pandemic put some strain on our marriage and we wanted to get some tools to help cope with conflict more effectively. Our first appointment, we called and confirmed our appointment with him only to show up and have him seem surprised to see us. Supposedly his assistant had cancelled all his appointments for the day and had tried to contact us (she didnt? We received no calls or texts about a cancelation). We had to wait but he saw us anyway. At our second appointment he did little else but print us out a marriage preparation workbook which had us discuss things like favorite movies and family backgrounds. All things we know about each other having been married for quite some time now. Our third appointment he didnt even show up. When we reached out he said he was sure he had called all his patients and I guess we just hadnt been on his contact list. My husband and I had given him our contact information multiple times so this, to me, is just careless. We will not be returning.
None of the phone numbers on his site, nor the number that comes up on google, work. I had his whole form filled out, just wanted to call ahead before submitting. All dead lines, didnt even ring. Decided against seeing someone whos office I cant even reach.
Amazing therapy! Really got the help I needed. Dr Martin was very professional and kind. He explained everything in detail . Highly recommended!
My wife and I went to around 6 counseling appointments with Walter . We went once a week for a hour each week and Walter never helped us out he actually gave my wife the worst advice possible after 6 sessions he basically recommended we divorce. Be careful with this counselor
