It took a village to take care of my dental needs, from anxiety reduction, to helping me gain financial assistance and helping to prioritise my dental wants and needs, to exceptional pain management with local anesthesia, my deep cleaning split up over the course of two visits to make it easier, crown prep and delivery, referral for a root canal by an endodontist— where they called and asked for the tooth to be saved if at all possible, speedy and complete treatment of any decay, and finally the piece de resistance, beautiful dental bonding with a set of six chair side veneers redone on my six front teeth, better than before. Every step of the way has been meticulous dental care, and I plan to come back to this office for many years to come. Take it from someone who has been very distrusting of dentists from childhood, from someone who has a history of being difficult to numb, who metabolises anesthesia fast, who has TMJ limitations, yet who has very high hopes for perfect teeth and does cosmetic dermatatology for a living—Adriatic Dental and each of its staff member is worth their weight in gold, and not only met my expectations, but far exceeded them! I was extremely excited to visit Adriatic Dental based on all the positive reviews Ive read. Sadly, my experience has been absolutely terrible.Ill start with the good - the people at this office are friendly and welcoming.Now for the not so good:- My initial consultation took 3 hours with most of that time being me sitting at the chair. They did make it a point to keep sending over people to talk to me while I was waiting, but this did not make the experience better.- After my initial consultation, I called and asked if I could sign up for their membership program and apply it towards the cleaning Ive had and will have. They confirmed that I can do that over the phone. Their pricing is very high and so I relied on this piece of information when deciding to come back to them but when I arrived in person they said that they made a mistake and that I cant use their membership option. Misleading billing practices here and not standing behind the promise of their team members.- Dr Obradovic recommended that I get a deep cleaning, 3 fillings, and an onlay. They quoted me over three thousand dollars for this treatment plan before insurance. This office is out of network for all dental insurance providers, meaning you pay for the whole amount and then they submit to insurance to see what you can get back. This appointment took 2.5 hours without actual treatment being done yet. Needless to say, I run out of there.- I then went to get a second opinion at another dentist. This dentist run their own Xrays and exam and said I only need 1 filling and do not need a deep cleaning or any of the other treatments. The new dentist quoted me $200 for everything.My experience at this dentist office has been that they push unneeded treatment and use misleading billing practices.I could not be more disappointed with my experience at this location and would not recommend it to anyone, especially if you have any kind of dental insurance plan.
