After my 2 year old TV died I was torn between just buying a new one (what Id normally do) and trying to have it repaired. Ive never taken any electronics into a repair shop and was hesitant the entire process because I had to pay the diagnostic fee up front.End result was that my TV works fine now and it cost half of what it would have been to buy a new one. Im sold.

An old school repair shop that can actually fix things instead of just replacing everything. I brought in my tape/cd player and it was fixed promptly for a reasonable price. I am glad this kind of shop still exists.

Terry the gentleman i spoke to this morning regarding an issue with my TV and New refurbished DVD player was way more than helpful. Easy to communicate with and to talk to . I didn’t have any services done personally but terry spoke with me over the phone about my tv and gave me the up front honest truth about how to handle my repair needs he was super helpful and knowledgeable.

I do not recommend  Vista Electronics. Took my high-end Yamaha receiver to him for repair and had to pay $80 up front. He quoted me 10-14 days to fix it. Over 2 months later, it didnt get fixed and Im out $80. He NEVER returns phone calls. I left over the course of 2 months at least 10 voice mails with him, not one response. I would have to continually call until Id luckily get him on the phone. Each time hed assure me he was working on it and would have a response for me soon...which Id never get. Pleasant guy, had a reputable-looking shop...but bottom line is Id stay away...terrible service, didnt do what he said. Im not even sure he ever did any work on my receiver.

This guy is one of the few left in this world that is an honest one!!I took a circuit board in to him off of my TV that got “zapped” by lightening in Colorado, because I was told it was the main board that needed repair.He asked if I had ever tried turning it on after resetting the receiver it was connected to? I said I don’t know. He told me to go back and put it back together and try it.Well.... guess what??? He saved me a lot of money, and didn’t charge me for it!I’m going to go back to him and compensate him for that huge advice as well as savings!Thanks Terry!!!

When is the last time a repair came in UNDER the estimate? I took my big screen television in for repair, and It turned out that the problem was not as serious as he first diagnosed. The part it needed was cheaper than the part he initially thought he was going to have to replace. How is that for honesty on top of skill and competence? My TV was home and working in just a few days. I am SO glad I found this repair shop. I highly recommend it!!

Terry provided an estimate up front. He then called me back with two courses of action. I chose the cheaper route. He resolved the power supply and replaced parts on one of the boards. I went to Terry on the referral from a friend. I highly reccomend Vista Electronics and will be going back for my future electronics needs. Another bonus, he did not go over his estimate.

I needed a capacitor for my tv. That wasnt available at frys. I called up terry told him what i needed he had the part shipped next day. Tv now works wonderful. My little brother is happy again!Thanks Terry!

What a great find! One of our tvs HD port was not working and we needed to change wires to connect dvd or Fire--a pain! I thought it would need replacing but when I called Terry he said there was a less expensive way to fix the problem. We scheduled an appt the following day and he arrived right on time and ran some magical wires and all three components now work. Terry is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I will recommend him to all my family and friends. Couldnt be more satisfied!
