I cannot recommend John & Jacob from Custom Tile Work enough. If I could give 10 stars, I would. John helped us with our bid, initial questions, and during our tile/fixtures selection. Jacob took over the job for the demolition and installation. We are truly ecstatic with the job from start to finish. Both John and Jacob were true professionals, and it was obvious they both possess an incredible amount of knowledge around their craft. These guys dont mess around, which is exactly what we were looking for.I think the pictures speak for themselves, but Jacobs attention to detail is second to none. For example, without even asking him, he tiled the dam to exactly match the back wall - a whole days work in itself. He worked very efficiently, never complained about the amount of stairs we have, accommodated last minute requests, and answered all our questions and concerns. He also kept the work area neat and cleaned up after himself every single day.You wont get this high-level work from the big box stores.

There was a small hiccup with a missing part from the shower system, but Jake made sure to track down the part and took care of it all. The shower works perfect and the bathroom looks amazing. I could not be happier with the service and the final product. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for custom tile work, and if I do this again on another home, I would definitely hire this company again.

This is the first remodel we have done to the house and it was an absolutely painless experience. We had heard horror stories from our neighbors from the contractors they used for their jobs. Going into this, I had that fear but Jacob delivered exactly as he promised.We received a quote from Jacob shortly after he came and did an initial assessment of our old bathroom. We needed an entire demo and remodel. Jacob asked for my preferences, gave me his thoughts about what we wanted to do, and we tailored our job based on his expertise. We trusted him with the suggestions he gave us and we are ecstatic with the outcome.From start to finish, Jacob always kept communication clear and steady. On days work was going to need to start earlier or later, he let us know. He always communicated when he was leaving or when he would be adjusting the work days. He was patient and answered my questions regarding methods they were using, what specific things they were doing, etc. I was completely interested in their craft and had admired the work they did from the photos they posted on their website, and from customer reviews.Jacob finished on time and kept to his timeline that he initially gave us. Nothing was a surprise. I will say that when we had small details we were nit-picky about, Jacob quickly addressed them and changed it to our preference.What I really appreciated was how clean the work area was kept through the entire process. Our remodel took 3 weeks and it was well worth it. I cant say enough good things about Jacob and Johns company. John visited several times to check out the work and chat a bit.Im not sure when our next remodel is - but we will definitely be asking Jacob to come back - as well as referring Custom Tile to others. The finished product speaks for itself. He completely went above our expectations.I will add that there were small things we noticed a few weeks after - and Jacob was quick to respond to our questions. He gave advice on how to upkeep the grout (since we have white grout and white tiles) and patched some things that had shifted due to natural land movement.Thank you to Custom Tile for taking such good care of our home during this renovation, and for changing our bathroom experience. Jacob made our bathroom feel like a resort.

They did a fantastic job. They ripped out the old carpet and installed new tile in 2 days, working 7:30 to 4:30. They were fast, clean and professional. I would absolutely recommend them to friends.

If it is quality work and tile expertise you want then Customer Tile Work Company is the one to choose. Jacob responded to our call for a quote right away. He listened to what we wanted with our Shower remodel and took down all the information he needed to provide us a quote. The quote included what they would be doing in detail; which we appreciated very much. We scheduled for the work to be done and Jacob came out and started on the date he stated. Jacob is very nice to work with and knowledgeable about the work to be done. He helped us refine our design and the work he and his crew did was excellent. He provided guidance on where to position the 3 accent lines we wanted and advised us on the pebble floor selection. They installed the shower slider bar and the 2 shelf bars and one support bar. Everything looks Awesome. It is truly a spa shower. Jacob even arranged for the glass shower enclosure; which will be here tomorrow (only 2 days after we ordered it)...WOW.We also asked Jacob to do a Tile surround on our Master Bedroom Fireplace and it looks fantastic...it looks so good we now will look to upgrade the fireplace glass doors to complete the new look. It no longer is a fireplace stuck in the wall; it now stands out as a special center piece to our Master Bedroom.

Totally Satisfied, WOW! A friend of mine who is a general contractor recommended Custom Tile Work Company. This is the tile contractor he uses on his projects. He spoke very highly of this company and he said, they did great work. I looked at their website and really liked the pictures in their photo gallery as well as the testimonials I read. I decided to call and schedule for a bid. John was very knowledgeable about the tile installation. The price was a little high however I was tiling the entire bottom floor of my house and didnt want to take any chances. I am so glad I used this company, John and his sons Jacob and Daniel did exactly what they said they would do. They showed up on time and were very clean and organized. I give them 10 stars.

In January of 2015, John and his son Jacob, installed quartzite tile in my patio and did a fantastic job! They attended to the small details, were very knowledgeable, punctual, hard workers, friendly but professional, had the job done on time, and I honestly couldnt be happier! :D

We decided to freshen up both bathrooms from the drabby fiberglass inserts to custom tile. John promptly came out to provide estimates that were very reasonable. Shortly thereafter work began on both bathrooms back to back. The results are amazing, my wife and I could not be more thrilled. We have had two bathrooms completed by John and his team at Custom Tile Work - and we couldnt be happier.There a no corners cut with these guys. John and Jacocb are knowledgeable, friendly and the finished product speaks for its self!Our first project was our master bath 2 yeas ago, a tub conversion to a large walk in shower and John walks you though the whole precess - I had lots of questions about tile choices and types of materials and they were able to make sure our vision came to life. The second project is the hall bath, they handles installed a large soaker tub, tiled the walls, face of the tub and installed new fixtures and hardware.If we had a third room to tile there is no doubt of who Id call.

Custom Tile Work (John & his son) recently completed a shower for us (bare studs to finished tile, built bench, moved drain, supply plumbing, etc.) and it came out looking amazing. He was very helpful each step of the way and available to answer questions and work with us regarding choices for construction, materials, and methods. He was not put off by the fact that we wanted to do some of the prep (carpentry) and finishing work (ceiling, door) to save a bit of money and was great about advice and input. The finished shower looks incredible and he really has an eye for detail which is evident the finished product and backed up from his decades of experience. Of three bids we received, his was the lowest and I seriously doubt any other outfit would have / could have done a better job. No BS with him - Just a skilled tradesman and his son who are both hard working and efficient. Each day the jobsite (AKA our lived-in house) was left clean which was appreciated as well. Would definitely recommend Custom Tile to a friend or anyone looking for a really nice tile job.

I called custom tile to give me a bid on my 1600 sf floor to have travertine installed. They then gave me a timely bid for the labor, materials and told me exactly how many days it would take. They installed the travertine so tight together there was virtually no great lines and so flat that it looks like one solid surface. It looks AMAZING!!!!They also did it in exactly how many days they said it would be done on the bid while showing up every day with great attitudes and being very professional, curtious and made great progress day after day while keeping their work area very clean. They were top notch professionals.

Stay away from Custom Tile Work John varela, This guy is very moody with poor communication and will try to up sale you after he gives you a quote, He feels like a snake oil salesman. Move on to another tile guy if you dont want a emotional headache. He will also stall you job and never get off the site.BEWARE youve been warned! OMG what a nightmare.
