Great service with a competitive price for a Smog check.

I was pleased with this place. Was in and out within 20 minutes. Customer service was good (does not accept check in coupons) and offered meet in the middle discount. Parking is very rough, but I still recommend this location.

Ive been using x-ray smog since they started, Gabriel and Cesar have been doing my smogs for 15 years, they are honest upfront and worth every penny!

I called before bringing my vehicle back for a retest. Asked if the 2nd test is free. They said no, its just half the price. I bring my vehicle back and they hand me a full price bill. I asked the dude, he pretended he wasnt aware that a retest was half the price, and charged me half. I asked him if half price for retest was not standard, he said the 3rd test is hull price again.This feels shady. Im not coming back.

This should have been a quick and easy pass, instead of throwing away $70 in 20 mins. Called before hand to get a quote for the smog before I even got there. they quoted me $60 out the door. There is not a lot of parking and its a pain in the but to enter the area. Talked to the customer representative and let them know that I need a smog done. They said that I passed everything, but the visual inspection. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BEFORE HAND in order to see if it will pass. Therefore, you could tell the customer that it will not pass for whatever reason. In my case they did it last and failed me for a piece of tubing that didnt look factory. lastly, to kick while Im down and they offered me $20 off my retest. Like I would ever come back here. I am not someone that knows nothing about car by the way. I have gone to school for automotive repairs. I unfortunately do not have my smog license to do it myself. This is not a place to get your car smog. Go elsewhere.

Just had my 1990 Volvo 240 smogged. The service was quick, they knew what to look for with older Volvos (believe me, some places dont) and the guy at the desk was courteous. Thanks!

Becase good review I take car 1991 for smog test ..They should do visual test before do the computer test (I was missing preheater hose) A easy fix part i forgot to install) So the do the computer test first I pass.. But visual test missing ( preheater hose) I have to re- test and re- pay againt... They give me 20% off for second test. Im no to happy with that..is not okay

My minivan failed a smog check here because another shop had installed the wrong kind of catalytic converter on my van. The man at this shop was super helpful, calling the repair shop to find out what the mistake was about. It turns out the repair shop saved a buck by putting in the wrong kind and figured theyd never see me again (because Im new to town and theyre near the DMV). The man at X-Ray Smog said the other place could get in big trouble for doing that kind of thing. Anyway all this goes to say that I highly recommend this shop! Very trustworthy and helpful.

This place works on the entire fleet of my work vehicles I take my personal vehicle there and my friends and taking them there too I find them relatively cheap for them with excellent work and the guys are upfront and they have made payment schedules just help people that dont have enough money to pay up front great place

No waiting to get car smog checked. Owner young, but experienced. Office and waiting room are clean. Prices for services posted. During smog check, Gabriel connected disconnected hoses at no charge. I will return for next smog check.

Cant say enough good about Gabriel and his staff. Been going to him for service my Nissan and previous vehicles for years. The service is honest, fair in price and they keep you informed of future possible service issues, like how much brake pad is left or when filters should be replaced. Fast, Friendly and they know service.

While waiting for my car, I was really impressed with Gabriels interaction with customers and my own situation taking time to explain the work being performed. Then when done showed me the bad part with explanation I (non auto mechanically minded) understood clearly. X-Ray Smog & Auto Repair is now my go to auto repair place as well as my family!
