Definition of a UNTRUSTWORTHY Shop! Put Rebuilt and Used parts in my car after telling me I was paying for new parts. They will show the parts to you and to any normal eye they look new, but they aren’t! They will lock you into a way higher price on paper VS what they tell you verbally. I have no idea how this run down place is still operating! Disgrace to hardworking mechanics.

Under new management, service was not great. I being going to Teds for 10 years and now I have to find mechanic.. I don’t feel confident in there work. Over priced ..

They was able to check my car an bring me a diagnostic and estimated for fix my car, when they get done with my car they show me the parts they replaced, very recommended!

{{ DO NOT GO HERE! }}: They installed a Compressor for my cars A/C, with a “ 1 Year Warranty” but a few months after it was installed the A/C stopped working and it turns out the compressor went bad but when I went back in to get it replaced under Warranty they told me “We don’t know where we got the part so all we can do is make you pay for a new part but not charge for labor”. When I questioned them on what we can do to find out where the part came from they got mad and told me to LEAVE. They Are Putting USED parts in customers cars and charging the price for new parts!This Shop is FRAUDULENT!

Was able to help me on short notice while I was 90 miles away

Told me the estimate was $850 but after it was done and I went in to pick it up, they tried to tell me it was $1,500! I refused to pay and called the police. Now it’s going to a be stretched out situation in court just because I didn’t read the reviews on this place.

Teds Auto is the only place I trust to work on my Toyota Tundra and Highlander. I have been coming to here since 2012. Ted, the owner, is normally there and is very knowledgeable and personable. The shop is not flashy but they are honest and do great work at a fair price.

Ted is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. This guy knows his cars. He can work on on European Asian cars, any car. He can even fix tractors and heavy equipment.His prices are literally 30% less than anybody elseI have recommended all my friends and family to Teds and everybody loves him

I am new in town, and a neighbor suggested I go here. I owe him a root beer (hes mormon) for such a great reference. I called ahead to make sure they had capacity. They quickly diagnosed my oil leak as an incorrect transmission replacement from a garage in Utah and fixed it for a good price over 2 days. I asked for a suggestion about my tires and brakes since the dealership recently suggested I replace both. Ted told me to rotate the tires and no hurry on the brakes. Now thats an honest mechanic! As a bonus, the shop is next to the Sprinter so you can take transit or easily grab a cab.A year later, Ive returned with my other car. Ted remembers me and saved me nearly a grand vs Bob Baker. Hes honest about what needs to be done with the car.

Teds Auto Repair should get 10 stars. They fixed both our cars recently. They were very honest and fair. One of the parts they replaced was defective (not their fault) so I brought it back in and they replaced the defective part right away and even stayed after hours to make sure my car was ready when I needed it for a trip. They have excellent customer service. I will use them again and again! Thank you!!

If I can I would like give them 0 star I used check sheet from other workshop as reference and asked them to help me check my caR. After I picked my car the problem still there. And next day I called the ted auto repair, the landlady told me I asked them to change the parts only, didnt told them to check the problem. And it cost 500$. And the labor fee cost 288$ even expensive than other store. I hope everyone can see this review and avoid some little tricks in this store, especially the receipt, double check what they wrote on paper.

Teds auto is a pleasant surprise. honest, fast and no add on BS the dealerships do. They fixed my sons Civic A/C system for one forth what the Honda dealer wanted to do the same. if you need a shop you can trust ... you found it.

Went to get an evaluation on my ac compressor. It was bad and I asked him how much it would cost and when he said $850 I told him ok I can’t do that I’ll pick up the car later (I work in Temecula). Went to pick up the car and he told me ok $850. I looked at him and said I told you not to I can’t afford this, take it out and put the old compressor in. He told me I thought you said yes and that he wasn’t recording the call (I found out only if you call the 800 number it gives you the recording warning) Regardless you are supposed to tell someone that they are being recorded due to legal issues. He eventually just charged me for the part. However, the belt is now too tight and I had to take it to another mechanic because Ted wouldn’t take accountability for his mechanics mistake and said it’s the brakes, he broke two lug nuts on my car, and when I was trying to explain everything he talked over me and wouldn’t listen. Also, when you fill out the paperwork, he only has you fill in your name address and phone number and you sign. When you pick your car up when finished, HE FILLS IN THE BLANKS OF STUFF YOU DIDNT SIGN FOR!
