Mechanics sent from god, hands down the most honest men I have ever met. Stopped me from spending 900$ on a part just to do me a favor. You want these two working on your vehicle

I have an older model Honda Pilot that I have literally taken to 4 other mechanics (to include the dealer!) and no one could sort out an engine issue. These guys did it on the first try. They also did it on a last minute basis, spent extra time explaining the situation to my wife who took the car in and then actually followed up several times to make sure things were okay still. I have NEVER seen that. Simply the best shop Ive ever been in contact with. Anywhere.

Ive had an issue with my car for years, took it to various Pep Boys locations across the US, and the issue was never solved and I paid more than double for Pep Boys not to fix the issue than I did at S&R to not only fix the problem but also with a faster turnaround time and with high quality, American-made parts. I was recommended S&R by family and was assured theyd take good care of me so I drove my car out here from Texas and while on vacation, S&R got it done.

Its always a pleasurable experience when getting my car serviced. Niko has been working on our cars for years. Hes honest, dependable, and fair. All around quality service. I couldnt ask for anything more.

Niko provides professional service and practices least cost troubleshooting/repair options. He carefully explains the details of the issue with expert level knowledge. His level of communication is top notch! He was able to rectify an emissions issue that I was having in a much less expensive way compared to what the Honda dealership quoted me. I was so impressed that I took my wifes car there for emissions work as well. Both cars passed the smog test without issue. I highly recommend!

Honestly I dont know why I never gave a review until now. I have a 2013 Chevy silverado 1500 and my wife has a 2006 Chevy Malibu. Niko is probably the only mechanic I have ever been to that didnt try and upsell and tell me I need to replace more than what is actually needed. I completely trust him and basically whatever he suggests is what I go with. He has never tried to lie, coerce, or convince me into doing anything I didnt want done. Probably the only mechanic in california that really cares more about taking care of people rather than making money.

Was having some problems with my back door on my 2006 Acura TL. All the dealerships and a lot of places were charging me an arm and a leg to get just a simple piece replaced. I came in to S and R service Center and Nico took care of me right away. Super knowledgeable guy. Took the time to help me out with no one else would. Definitely bringing all my Hondas and Acuras here for life. Thank you guys so much!!!

Nico and his staff are straight arrow guys. Hard to find. Mechanic that you can trust. My timing belt and Valve adjustment was perfect.

I was searching for an honest mechanic for a while as it’s hard to find trustworthy auto shops and I came across S&R. I have to say this is the best shop I’ve ever been to, Niko has to be one of the most knowledgeable and friendly mechanics in San Diego.He took care of me right from the beginning and never hid anything from me and kept me informed the entire time. I needed a new clutch for my Subaru WRX, and he helped me pick one out that fit my driving style. He told me it would take 2 days and I dropped my car off, and sure enough 2 days later he gave me a call and told me I could pick it up. He even showed me my old clutch and why it needed to be replaced, which most mechanics won’t do, and my car drove perfectly.I would reccomend this shop to anyone looking for reliable work on your car and I will be going here for every repair

Just had my altinator replaced by Niko and he did a great job and saved me hundreds $$$ from the dealer quote. He is very knowledgeable in his business and I highly recommend his work.

Called a few weeks ago asking about installing my roof racks. Was told they would have to see them. Brought them down this morning and the guy said lets see....showed him the racks then asked what kind they were and if I had the instructions! They were Honda racks bought from Honda. You should know how to install Honda racks if you say you work with Honda cars. They the guy said oh we have to take everything apart and it would be $300! Say what! What a bunch of frauds. Dont go this place. Went to Honda in Carlsbad and it cost $120 to install.

I originally went to another shop in the same center. I made an appointment the day prior. When I showed up I was told that no one would be able to work on my car for at least an hour, and he was rude. I called into another shop that had 5 stars on yelp and they were not taking any buisness for the day because of Christmas Eve. The owner referred me to Niko.I’m super glad that he did. Niko not only inspected my brakes but his attention to detail helped entail the safety of my car. My brakes were about to fail and he even showed them to me afterwards. Niko is one of the rare, trustworthy mechanics that I trust with any automobile.

Needed to get my clutch fixed, price was on par with most other shops. Richard was who I delt with. He was the owner and operator, didnt notice any other staff. Richard was very straightforward and polite. He told me he was going to need a full day to diagnose and mabey another to fix the problem.He was very informative and professional, by calling me several times to update me on his progress, and he also gave me over the phone quotes on other suggested services. I told him no, just finish the clutch job. That was the last he said about any extra work, no hustle.. a major plus to me. On the secont day Richard called and said Your all set, you can come and get your car when your ready. Work was excelent, couldnt be happier. Thanks Richard. Well done
