I dropped my truck off on Tuesday (8/17/2021) at 7am with some issues shifting after a recent computer reset and was told I would hear from someone the next day. I never heard anything from anyone and called in the following Thursday (8/19/2021) and left a message with the service operator for an update. I was told my service advisor would call me back. I never heard back. I called back three times over the next week and was finally told the following Thursday (8/26/2021) that my truck was completed and ready for pick up. The woman I spoke with was rude and seemed inconvenienced by my asking what the issue was. She informed me that they were unable to replicate the issues I was experiencing. I said after 9 days of having my truck and never receiving an update or call back that was frustrating to me. She then informed me that my truck had been completed on the first Thursday (8/19/2021) that I had called in and was given no information. I actually even showed up that day to retrieve some keys I needed for work from my truck and was given zero information . I let her know I had called in multiple times and was never given any information nor did I receive a call at any time. She said they had driven and tested my truck “extensively” and that “abnormal shifting was normal”. That makes zero sense to me. When I was finally able to pick my truck back up I saw they had only driven it a total of less than 4 miles and performed no actual service or repair to remedy my issues. Their customer service is horrible and so is their service in general. I bought the truck (2021 F250) at a different dealer because I had issues with the sales department about a year prior when helping my younger brother look for a truck and at that time and I didn’t want to give them any business. They are close to me and I decided to give their service department a chance and regret it now. They were totally unapologetic and did not care that I was understandably upset about their lack of communication. On top of all that my truck was far dirtier than it was upon dropping it off. I had just had it cleaned and it was covered in dust and dirt when I picked it up. I wish I could leave 0 stars but will have to settle for a 1 star review.
If I could give a higher rating I definitely would! My vehicle purchase was so smooth from start to finish. Tim M ensured that not only I was completed satisfied in the vehicle I was looking for but that I also didn’t leave the dealer with any unanswered questions or concerns. Tim’s customer service was world class, taking the stress out of buying a vehicle. If you or a friend are looking to make a purchase and you’re not sure where to go, please please please visit North County Ford and look for Tim M. He’ll definitely take care you! I was able get my dream car smiling from ear to ear on the drive home. Thank you so much Tim for the great experience, I truly appreciate it!-Erving L.
Great customer service. Calen and Cory helped fix a problem with my Ford Edge this morning. They were knowledgeable and efficient and went above and beyond to make sure my car was in working order in a timely manner. Thank you for your expertise!
Not the place to go for tire installation, with 35 bays of busy mechanics, they do not communicate with the front on when they will be ready. My agent Mark handled it with grace and humor after waiting 1/2 h hour- day one, just to find that the tires were not there, though parts said the tires were in. Day two, appointment took 1.5h. Mark still cheerfulness great with customers.
They were friendly and helpful. Got a gorgeous used F150 and traded my Tundra, lease was up.
I just bought a car with them, and everyone was awesome! I worked with Oscar, Randi, Tim, Omar, Mike, George, and Trevor. They were very pleasant to be around, and helped me get the best vehicle for me. I would highly recommend giving this dealership a try next time youre looking for a car. They will work with you. Thanks everyone!
Service quick & efficient. Havent used this dealer in several years. Great to see some of the ling time service folks still working in the same dealer shows continued satisfaction with management and customer service.
This was my first time at North County Ford and I had a great experience. The salesman Tim was great. He satisfactorily answered every question that I had. Worked with me diligently to get the vehicle that I wanted at a price that was acceptable to me. In addition, the finance manager, Omar was very helpful in ensuring that I understood all the ins and outs of our lease agreement. I will definitely tell people about my great experience at North County Ford.
Okay prices for car rental and they werw helpful to make sure the rental process went smooth...
Always dependable and ready to provide high quality service---friendly, extremely helpful, and professional in all respects. Weve used their services for over 20 years without a complaint! Well done!
Tim McCullough was amazing and deserves a raise! He was respectful and considerate! Gave us what we asked for and was completely upfront with us. He never lied or tried to deceive us like Quality Chevy did with their fishing numbers, they put a discount online and then said it wasnt right. Tim us upfront and helped us navigate. I would recommend him and North County Ford for all your vehicle needs!
My 78-year-old father took his 2013 Ford Fusion to the service department for an oil change and vehicle checkup the day before heading from San Diego to Oakland for an Easter road trip (4/1). Seemingly the experience was good; but for a total wait time of 2 hours and 24 minutes. The service advisor, Kevin Galaviz, was very kind considering the long wait and offered the complete service complimentary. Great, right? Not quite, and lets keep in mind the North County Ford promise YOU CAN COUNT ON US! My elderly parents left for the long drive early the next morning (4/2). About 5 hours into the drive, coming down a grade the brake pedal hit the floor, no brakes! Fortunately, my father was able to safely get the vehicle off interstate 5 and call AAA. They called me next and believe me I was very concerned. The Ford Fusion was towed to Los Banos, A & A All Pro Auto Repair with an additional mileage charge of $90 due to their remote breakdown. They had to leave the car there and have my sister leave work to drive an 1hr 30min one way to pick them up. Another round trip was made to pick-up the vehicle from the repair shop. The service station found the left front brake hose had failed. $220.45 repair and they were on the road by Monday; I made sure my Dad kept the parts for Ford.On Tuesday (4/6), both parents went to the Ford dealership and waited oven ONE HOUR to talk to the service manager Shawn about their ordeal. In their opinion, the manager was dismissive without time to deal with them. He said a rock broke the brake line and said its not Fords problem. Look at the photo and tell me a rock hit that brake line then ask yourself if that were likely Ford would have a recall, right? Fast answer is not the right answer Shawn.Upon word of this I picked up the receipts, brake hose and Ford Fusion the following day (4/7) to find out what could be done. Also, I photographed new oil leaks on their driveway that appeared after their Ford service appointment 4/1, under their front left brake assembly. The service department was busy and it took about 15 minutes to speak with the service advisor Kevin Galaviz (nice guy). I inquired about the YBK brake measurement indicated on the invoice and check-up sheet. How did Jaime Aldrete Lic#3995 check the brakes? Did he remove the caliper for a precise 3-5mm measurement, possibly rupturing the brake hose if he dropped it? They could not say, but had me wait for Shawn - The Service ManagerAbout a half hour later I asked, how much longer? hes very busy which looked to me like an open door meeting with a female employee and sounded like useless banter. Customers first right? wrong! I grabbed my receipts and brake line and left my number to schedule a appointment Well, I was called back and guess what Im scheduled to see Shawn at 9am on Tuesday (4/13) six days later. Lets see how dismissive the service manager is when hes not dealing with a senior citizen with Parkinsons! Buckle up North County Ford lets see if we can Count on You!On another note: I take both my vehicles to other service departments with great customer service and quality mechanical work I can trust: Carlsbad Toyota for the Toyota Prius and Quality Chevrolet for the Chevy Tahoe. My 78 year old father always told me that it might cost a little more at the dealership but you get genuine parts that are backed by the cars manufacturer. Hes a Ford guy, his father drove tractor trailers full of Fords his whole life. Guess each dealership is only as good as the management chosen by its ownership.See you Tuesday! Lets make sure the General Manager is available!
Oscar was a pleasure to work with. He understood what I wanted and helped me get into my new Ranger. I never felt pressured and he was 100% professional. I will recommend him to all my family and friends when they are looking for a new car or truck. Thank you Oscar
I had a horrible experience taking my wifes car in for service here. I had originally scheduled it for an oil change and a factory recall, however a couple days before bringing our car in, the car started beeping to indicate low battery. When I went to replace the batter the car would no longer start or register the key. When I took the car in they said that the keys were no longer able to be reprogrammed and that I needed to replace the key fob that is imperative for the the car to run.Furthermore, we paid for the car to be washed and when we got it back the top light had grease marks and was broken and the light assembly was broken on the bottom and the light switch was pushed in.Avoid this dealership at all costs. This was the worst service experience Ive ever had.Update as of January 11th,I called this number immediately thinking it was a direct line. When I called it was the automated number of the whole dealership, I asked multiple people to speak to the manager and was told I would be called back. When I didnt hear back for two weeks, I called again and was told the same thing.Avoid this dealership at all costs
Calen Leyco was extremely effective in resolving the concern I had with the splash shields on my F-150, as was the tech who worked on my vehicle. They were much more helpful than a nearby Ford dealership.
Let me just start off by saying 1 out of 4 times we called the service department they don’t answer their phones. You have to talk to an operator go on hold than wait for them to “call you back”. So that was annoying so I just had to go in to make an appointment. Which honestly is difficult when you have a new born baby and a broken knee. It’s not easy getting around..Also I asked more than once nicely for my car to be “sprayed down” or washed quickly with water. Was told it would be complimentary. They did shuttle me to and from the place and I was greeted by a very friendly service advisor named Marc Mitchell who went above and beyond as far as I’m concerned making sure I got in and out as quickly and smoothly as possible and was probably one of the only honest people that worked there. He’s the only reason I’m even giving three stars people. Because upon getting my vehicle it was pretty obvious to me that the “Jose Haro” (who I never met) that reportedly did the work on the vehicle never cleaned or so much spilled a single drop of water on my car. Which I’ll say maybe it was an oversight BUT makes you wonder what else was rushed and what else did this “Haro Jose” as it’s written in the paperwork not do that he said he would? I mean a little concerning and I’ve never spend my money there but never the less I had recalls that needed tending to. But goes to show not all dealerships are honest and even though “it’s In the notes” doesn’t mean its “in the car”. If I had more time I would have said something. But none the less I have a family and my wife needed to get picked up from work and grandma needed to be relieved from baby sitting a 6 month old. Guys this is just not something I needed to worry about. Kinda sets me over the edge sometimes…
Always a good experience with Jim. He has been looking after my cars for years.
I absolutely love this place. The people working there are always so friendly and provide excellent customer service!!! My husbands car had a problem with the transmission that would of cost him $600 something to fix but Kevin went above and beyond and doubled checked to see if it would be covered under warranty or if there was a discount he could provide and in the end we didnt have to pay a dime. It was covered! He was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I absolutely love this place. I would definitely recommend going here to get your vehicle serviced because they always provide excellent customer service.
I strongly recommend seeing Lorena and getting a clear coat applied to your paint. The results are amazing and better than any wax I have ever used!
These guys were absolutely zero help. The rep helping at service desk tried to charge me for an engine light diagnostic for $170, my engine light was not even on. They also overcharged an elderly gentleman who noticed after he paid. They are dishonest and unhelpful. The rep was stumbling over his words when I called him out. It’s a joke
I took my 250 Super Duty in for service on steering dampeners. I dropped it off at NCF to Rob Helms. He was very polite and helpful. Said he would call me soon as my truck was done. My appointment was at 8:00 AM. At 9:48 he called and said my vehicle was ready for pick up. I arrived several hours later and drove away. The steering was so much better. It appears NCF did a good job and completed the job in a timely manner. Seems like NCF starting to get their act together. Keep up the good work.
I brought my car in because there was a leak. I was initially told that the car would be fixed within 2-3 days. The initial problem was fixed but then they found another leak which ended up taking over 2 weeks to complete. My main complaint is that they didnt update me on the status of the repair and didnt return any of my phone calls. Getting a hold of anyone in the service department is impossible. The repair was thankfully covered under warranty but we needed to pay a $100 deposit, but they didnt collect this payment when I picked up the car. Of course, they called me non-stop to get the payment, but couldnt bother to return any of my calls.
Excellent customer service. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make my buying experience top notch. Left with my new truck feeling like I was appreciated. I highly recommend North County Ford.
My go to dealer for service on my Ford trucks. Work is always done as promised. On time and on budget.Calen in service is great to work with!
Always get my car serviced here. Mark (my most recent service advisor) was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I was very disappointed this time tho as it was standard scheduled maintenance and it took 3 hours and 15 minutes from drop of to the car being ready which is ridiculous. Previous times it would be 90 minutes to two hours max. Had I not enquired as to where my car was I would of Beene airing even longer. Before you hand over your keys, ask how long will the service be and ask the staff to keep you updated. It wasn’t even that busy last week. As I said, Mark was great and check in fast and once we knew my car was ready he checked me out fast
Honestly the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Richard “Bigfoot” was just amazing. Gave me all the information i needed over the phone and Kept in contact with me since I drove down from LA. Will highly recommend to anyone. ASK FOR BIGFOOT!
Service department is a joke! They rarely answer the phone then if they do you won’t get a straight answer. Had to visit the office twice just to speak with someone about my car. (They had it for 7 days)Left messages and calls, never returned. Charged more than quoted then when I questioned it I was made to feel like it was my fault for not knowing. Mark’s response to the overcharge was “ give me a break I’m new here” what a D-bag! Asked to talk to manager, surprise not there…. Left him a voicemail, surprise never called back… save yourself the frustration of dealing with these guys and take your car somewhere else.
This place is a joke. I called to make an appointment for a recall. The service writer told me it would take no longer than a week to get the parts. 2 weeks later still no call so I call them. They tell me they are still waiting on parts. I talk to the service manager a week later and he tells me the work will be done one the following Monday. A week later they tell me they it will be a few more weeks till they can do the work.
I have now leased two cars from North County Ford and I have been highly impressed with each experience. Tim McCullough was honest, straight forward, very patient and even keel, and not at all pushy or aggressive. He made the entire experience seamless and comfortable. Cameron Oxberry was extremely easy to work with in handling the financial aspect of the process, for which I also have to give credit to the sales manager who when I could see him was very calm and collected. Cameron and Tim worked diligently to try to combined the type of car I wanted with the budget I provided them. I honestly could not have been happier with my experience here as people just seemed to want to provide the best experience possible. Thank you to everyone at North County Ford, Im sure Ill be back for a third in a few years!
Ask for: George Bolanos at North County Ford!!!He made it happen for me twice. He is honest and fare. I went with attention on just looking and uncertain of my financial situation. I wanted a truck but came out with a Ford Fusion. With a great and affordable deal. Later on when I reached some goals I went back for a Ford Ranger truck and honestly he got me a great deal on a 2020 Ford F-150. Because he new that later on I would want a bigger and better truck. George Bolanos has been with North County Ford for many years and he is the one who could work out a great deal for you!
I was very lucky to get on touch with Alex Baghaei in North County Ford to be able to save huge amount of money on my new purchase of 55K truck. No other Ford dealers in LA/OC would be able to match or get even near North county ford prices!I made a trip and had a great experience with Alex and his team at North County Ford. They fulfill all my requirements during the handover, I even purchased an extended 5 years warranty as the offer was too good to miss.I have been to several Ford dealers my my purchase and I would say that this place is something else in terms of negotiations and ease dealing with these guys. Thanks to Alex, Michael, Mike and Chanty.
Ive been meaning to write a review about the service department at north county ford. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else, ANYWHERE else. I brought back my vehicle 4 different times due to the same DTC code after the BUTCHERS (techs) at north county ford swapped out the cylinder heads on my 2017 F150. After that the vehicle has had a myriad of DTC codes due to the incompetence of NCF butchers. Everything inside the engine: sensors, ignition coils, wires seem to have been ripped off and just jammed back Together in the blink of an eye which is surprising since they kept my vehicle for over 2 months. I took my vehicle to Ken Grody Ford in Carlsbad, and they fixed the problem in 2 hours. Something that North County ford couldn’t accomplish in 4 visits which totaled over 60 days. WOWMaybe they should send their techs BACK over Meat supplier JBS, I hear they have a shortage of Butchers.but all jabs aside go somewhere else, once you get the first warranty you are stuck there since they are responsible for their mistakes, which by the way, they wont correct you can call the tech manager to no avail and the general manager will argue that it’s not his department even though he is the general manager of the entire place.Ford wont do anything about it either, they are going bankrupt for a reason, they make trash!Very expensive trash at that.
I was looking at financing a 2021 mustang Mach-e. They ran my credit mentioned my credit was good and quoted me a really high monthly payment, but they were “un-sure” what the interest rate would be on this loan. Made no sense. Had the typical experience where sales rep go to fight with sales manager and neither of them were able to make a deal happen. I get it, it’s a sellers market right now with low inventory on new cars, but still felt like my business was not good enough for them.
I used their car buying service and it was exceptional! They provided me great flexibility with the drop off, paperwork was simple, and the gave me a private sale price.
When North County Ford didnt have the truck I wanted they ordered it to my exact request. They told me how much it would cost and when it would arrive. It turned out exactly as they told me. That is what happens when you deal with Richard who has been there for 20 years and Trevor who knows how the system works. I had shopped all over and they offered me the best deal I could find.
I brought my minivan there to sell. The staff and management (Rick and Nick) were knowledgeable and treated me fairly, without the stereotypical car dealership hard sell tactics.I left with a fair price for my vehicle.I wouldnt hesitate to visit again.
Robert, was really on top of the recall service done. He called me about the status of the car, what can I say he is a asset to the company. Thanks to Rob
They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Jim was very professional and went above and beyond expectations. He definitely is a great asset to Ford. Thank you so much for all your shared knowledge and recommendations.
My 2016 F150 started over heating on Tuesday. I called and Robert the Service Advisor listened to my concern. I explained that I needed my truck this week since my daughter had a horse competition up north in Orange County. He immediately fit me into his schedule and had my truck repaired and ready for pick up by 1:00 the next afternoon. He gave me exceptional service and listened to my concerns. I was very pleased with my Service Advisor and appreciate all the assistance he gave me.
I had a very great and easy experience buying my new bronco from the salesman Bigfoot. He made everything very simple for me.
Randi was amazing. She did a great job going over what I can afford. She worked with me and I was able to walk away with the vehicle I wanted. She was professional, nice, and willing to answer all my questions. No pressure sales is what I liked most. Thank you North County Ford.
The service center did not have complete transparency. Of the two issues I brought my car in to have fixed only one was actually fixed. At one point my service advisor told me that someone brought a car worth more than mine so they were able to jump ahead of me in line for repairs. The multiple days I was informed it should be done, it took me to call the service center and ask if it was going to be done. I reccomend calling often to remind them of what is needed. They do have a lot of customers and seem a bit under staffed.
Fantastic Team! You will appreciate the professional approach and assistance in your buying experience.
Made appointment on line for 7:30 on a Saturday. When we got there all gates were locked and hours on service door said they opened at 8. Not one apology after discussing with the tech. Had to call at 12:30 to see if oil change was done. Said they were busy. Yes, that’s why I made an appointment. Don’t think an oil change should take 5 hours. Did reset the car for the next oil change. Work seems good but customer service and getting work done when you have an appointment needs work!
Fantastic Experience ! Great dealership, warm welcome from multiple staff, No pressure sales and walked out with a Truck in 2 hours!
FORD Representative Angelo D. was very attentive to my needs for servicing my car. I will be driving to Phoenix AZ soon. I asked Representative Angelo D. what was needed to get my car up to date. I am happy to report my car merely needed minor detailed work. I am always confident with FORD service, and I can always sense that the mechanic completed the work with utmost care and complete knowledge. My car runs super great! FORD does their job well: RING THAT BELL!
This place is absolutely terrible.I bought my car here a few years ago and the whole experience was so painful. The financing aspect was a nightmare, and the whole experience felt so gross. I remember being in and out of there at least four times over the span of a week which was so unnecessary.Fast forward to now... made an appointment and dropped my car for service--which SHOULD have been under the expensive, multi-year warranty we paid for. Took herculean efforts to get a human on the phone to tell me the status of my car. No one ever called me, and its was there for 24 hours. Spent far too much time on hold trying to get in touch with someone in the service department and after multiple call backs finally corralled someone in the front to literally walk to the other building to pin someone down. The ONLY reason I took it there was because I was hoping the repair would be under warranty. It wasnt. Forget it, I am done with this place. Such a rip off.
Bigfoot was great to deal with. Car Salesman have a very bad reputation but Bigfoot put that theory to sleep. He was and continue to be even after he has my money. I would recommend him and I would buy from him again.
This is my second truck with North County Ford and the staff is always top tier and professional. This time we worked with Big Foot and he did an excellent job in the sale of our new truck. He is honest and trustworthy and we are overall very satisfied.
Tried to get information on my warranty 3 times prior to bringing in my car. Arrived at 8 AM the day of my appointment and they have to order a part. Poor customer service 😔
Worst car buying experience of our lives… and we have been living a long time. We were helping our son (who is a Marine) buy a used car. He had a large chunk of cash for down payment, he has great credit so he was pre-approved by Navy Fed for with a great rate. He walked in with pre-approval in hand from Navy Federal, a large cash down payment and he had a solid budget. All financial bases were covered.1) The car he was there to look at was listed at $17950.00 the contract they pushed him to sign was written for $25,000.00 +. With unwanted addendum items and extended dealership warranty listed. We asked them to remove many items and were able to work a price that met our son’s budget.2) His pre-approval check required the dealership to call his financing partner…. a simple phone call, from the dealer- to Navy Federal. The check he had would not be valid without interaction between dealership and financial institution. Upon completion of car review from dealership to financial institution the bank would then give the dealer a 4 digit code to write on the check for financing validation and payment. Not a new system of checks and balances.3) Every single person we dealt with (manager Tim, “finance guy” Omar and salesman Jesus) straight up refused to call Navy Federal! Even though Navy Fed gave our son a physical check, along with a giant, bright orange, bold font, note to dealer that a call was required.4) Tim, the manager said he did not have the power to make such a call yet proceeded to obtain social security number, salary, references without telling our son that he was running a credit check. Then pushed a paper in front of our son for a credit check. Our son refused to sign it and said “Please call Navy Federal”.5) 2 hours later, when we finally saw Omar the “finance guy” who pushed a contract in front of our son with a 19.9% finance rate urging him to sign… when questioned about the 19.9% rate Omar said “Well you wouldn’t let us run a credit report”… our son refused again and asked Omar to call Navy Fed. Omar waved his hands and said “I am not doing that”. He went on to tell us how knowledgeable he was in car sales and how inexperienced we were. I am 43, my husband is 56. We’ve bought our fair share of cars and houses. Omar actually called us defensive and told us he had another customer to work with and pushed us out of his office when our son refused to sign dealership financing contract at 19.9%!6) We were pushed back to the salesman Jesus, who also refused to call Navy Federal…. So we called them ourselves, put them on speaker and the Navy Fed agent reiterated to the dealership that they must call from a landline, business number in order for this check to be validated (it’s a safety protocol for their customer, our son).7) Jesus finally gave up, shook his head and called Navy Fed. We finalized the deal with the same financing our son walked in with 4 hours prior.Total we spent over 7 hours working with these clowns on a deal that was already financed before we walked in the door. This dealership preys on people and treated us like we were just dropped on planet Earth. This is the exact reason we were there to help our son. We expected as much but this place took it to a whole new level. They are bully’s, liars and thieves. They try to mark up price and push under cover credit checks and outrageous financing on unsuspecting buyers, particularly young military personnel
I have always gone to Ford for everything even as little as an oil change. The most recent time, I was a bit uncomfortable with the gentlemens attitude when I asked him for a price breakdown on cost for my car. It seemed expensive so rightfully so I wanted to know why. He was a bit snooty when telling me the price breakdowns. Other than that Im always happy with Fords service.
We’ve purchased a 2017 Chevy Bolt and paid on Friday, I have sent them proof all money has been deducted out of my account, and it’s been 6 days they won’t deliver the car. How hard is to log into their account and check? They can call the bank, they have all my info, social, address, DL, work info, I wouldn’t give them any of that info if I was gonna steal the car, if that’s what they think. They know this car is for work, and only answer I get is I’ll check
Fast and friendly service from everyone at North County Ford. We were from Wisconsin and were treated wonderfully by Rob our service advisor. Very happy with service.
Love this place. They dis an oil change on my truck. Fast and friendly.
These dudes are the best. Definitely overworked and swamped with appointments but they make sure everything is done right and they keep you informed about your vehicle. The price is expensive as you expect at a dealership but you will be satisfied with the results. Thanks
My experience at North County Ford was very pleasant. Michael was amazing! He showed me several vehicles and did a wonderful job answering my questions.I purchased from this dealership about 10 years ago and will likely buy from them again.Overall, North County Ford is a Five-Star dealership with Five-Star Sales Reps! 👍
George our sales guy was awesome. However Michael the finance guy was very rude. He was trying to force a warranty on me which I did not like even his tone was rude. I was excited about buying my husband his dream car and he ruined the moment. Also a few days later I noticed that my credit was ran twice. I put money down and had my own loan through my bank so I have no idea. I have called and they said they would get back to me but havent. Im honestly going to contact as many people as I can because this was unacceptable.
Great diagnosis of my AC problem, some rodents apparently chewed through the relay wire also got the best deal around for my wife’s SUV’ new tires.
Went in for a simple oil change. Very easily scheduled and when I arrived, I was helped immediately. I was a waiter so I went to the lounge. No free coffee (COVID) but several vending machines available. Service took less time than I expected and all was completed professionally. I did not get any pressure for other services (I appreciate not being badgered about service). Overall, very enjoyable.
Saturday appt for brake inspection, submitted coupon for free brake inspection online. The service rep Calen indicated the inspection was actually $165 as had to pay mechanic for his time, but would credit towards cost if I chose to proceed. The cost to replace the brake pads / rotor was $180 per axle. My 2013 Taurus with 102,000 miles had original brakes. $165 to check the brakes is outrageous, but I had already decided to replace the brakes. Calen promised about 3.5 hours and the car was ready when expected. The new brakes are a huge improvement. I didnt drive on Sunday, on Monday my car would not start. AAA to the rescue, testing revealed near dead battery. Easy replacement, yet its hard to imagine NCF mechanic actually tested my battery on Saturday. All in all, I got what I paid for and am pleased with the brakes. Their prices for other routine stuff - - oil change, tune up, filters is 50-75% higher than local shops like Meineke. Their GM asserts their mechanics are more qualified and are paid more. Perhaps, but Im not willing to pay $100 + for any diagnostics or significantly higher prices for routine maintenance. But for brakes, the extra cost and claimed better quality provides peace of mind.
Everyone was great from the start, thank you all for your help!
Bought a Bronco Sport with help from Michael G. He was great to work with and helped me explore lots of options. No pressure to rush to a sale and great at following up through text to help me land on what I wanted.
If youre looking to get your car fixed, BUYER BE WORNED.
Ummm...it is a car dealership. I went to sit in a Mustang Mach e. The sales team was in a meeting, but they unlocked the car so I could sit in it. Inventory was very low like most car dealerships now.
There was a discrepancy with the payment rate. I was led to believe that the cost of the diagnostic would be put toward the cost of the repair only to find that it was in addition. Also, as I was next in line waiting at the counter, a young man walked in and was immediately served before me by the person at the desk. The name on his station was Kevin. As I am a black woman, it was definitely noticed by two other people who were waiting as well. And I DID take it personally. Although my technician, TJ, was very kind and accommodating about the rate misunderstanding, I doubt I will ever return for service nor recommend North County Ford to anyone I know because of the personal insult from the other person.
Marc in the service department is really friendly, and helpful in a really stressful situation.
I bought a challenger scatpack from them. My experience was perfect which is rare for a dealership. Cody was very very helpful and nice, he didnt use any sale tactics on me, he let me fully inspect and test the car without any hassle. Oscar was the one that did the the financing and paperwork. He tried his best to get me the highest pay for my old car and the lowest interest on the new loan. Thank you so much for being the best dealership in Cali.
Great customer service. Huge Selection to choose from in San Diego. North County Ford had the best selection of Expeditions over all the other Ford dealerships.
Thank you to Richard Castaneda for all your hard work and helping us the past 2 times we’ve come here. Richard is very patient, kind and have given my family and I great options. My mom doesn’t speaking English and he’s very patient with me translating and involve her in our conversation. I recommend anyone who comes to purchase or trade in anything to ask for Richard himself. I’m sure he’d take great care of you. (:
Great Dealer for all things Ford. I use their Service Department regularly and have always been satisfied.
Excellent service by Jim. Took care of my truck maintenance & issues on the same day. Much appreciated. Thank you guys...:)
I recently took my 2017 Ford Explorer to another dealership while traveling because it started lighting up on its own and the door locks unlocked and locked periodically and I was worried about the battery. They tried to help me but ordered the wrong part, then said they would send it to me. Needless to say after a month of this going on and me still not having the right part, my battery was dying. We took our car into North County Ford, where we purchased it, and they had the part in stock and it was replaced in 2 hours even though we walked in. The best part was they covered it under warranty. We are still waiting for a refund from the other dealership on the part that never worked.Thank you North County Ford and Service Tech Kevin!
Had an oil change done on my vehicle, 1st time I booked my appointment on line, it was so easy to do!My service writer was Jim G. extremely polite & helpful! I highly recommend North County Ford as they have always been helpful whether purchasing a vehicle or service or repairs.
Trevor was helpful without being pressuring. The car we got was good although we couldve been given a better discount for what the car is, low mileage but already going on 4 years.
Truck was serviced professionally and on-time. Jim recommended new wipers for the upcoming rain. Thanks Jim!
This is the only 5 star review Ive ever written on here, so the fact that Im writing this helps show how impressive the experience was here. This was one of the best dealership experiences Ive ever had. I negotiated a price over the phone, and they honored that price without any hidden fees or other tricks. Very upfront and honest. A special thanks to Jesus and Cameron for their integrity, professionalism, and quality customer service. I wont be in the market for another vehicle for a long time, but I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new/used vehicle to shop here.
I have been an over 15 year loyal cust of North County Ford sales and service department. Unfortunately my longtime service advisor Alex is no longer with North County Ford. What do I do was my dilemma? Well I went to Service Advisor Jim Godine. My goodness, he was exceptional. He had my 2010 Ford Focus diagnosed, gave me an accurate estimate and had my Focus done the very next morning.. My focus now runs excellant. Thanks again to Jim and North County Ford.
Great, friendly service.
Bad service and over promise and under deliver. I recommend any other dealership over these clowns.
Brought truck in for 1st oil change. Waited in line for 15 minutes. Took 2 hours, but honored the free car wash they promised when I bought it. I tried to pay for a tire rotation, but they couldnt find a wheel lug lock... it was never provided with the truck... email sent to dealership, waiting for a response. Also, waited for 15 minutes in line once the truck was ready. Service desk guys were nice.
Friendly sales crew and finance crew. Made it easy to make decisions and were flexible enough to give me a better deal on the financing.
Purchased a used F-150 from Jesus and Trevor at North County Ford, the whole experience was great! The negotiation was painless, and everything down to the delivery was beyond exceptional!
Very professional and timely. In and out. Only good things to say.
Great service! Worked fast and did everything they could to help me with money. Very satisfied.
Ive been a big fan of North County Ford for years. There are other dealerships closer to home where I can get service for both of my Fords but I am happy to drive 20 mikes out of my way just because the people at North County are friendly and still believe in customer service. Two gentlemen in particular are very helpful, Angelo Denys and Cory Roberts. Today, they went out of their way to make sure I had my vehicle serviced quickly even though there were issues with scheduling appointments. They could have done nothing special and it would have been fine but they give that bit of extra effort to keep their customers happy. Plus theyre just genuinely nice people.Thats how everyone is at North County Ford and thats why I drive 20 miles out of my way to do business with them.
First of all, it was an above average buying experience. The used Ford Edge we purchased was in great condition and well priced, our salesperson, Randy was new, but very pleasant and helpful. Not your typical overpowering salesperson. There was no negotiation in price since it was just discounted which was disappointing. Omar in Finance was also more professional than most car dealerships.
Terrible customer service. Made an 8:30 A.M. appointment for a recall notice 2 weeks in advance. Took the day off work, dropped car off @ 8:30 a.m. Finally got a call at 3:30 p.m. and they did not get a chance to repair my vehicle. The best they could do was promise by end of next day. This wasnt the fist time they have done this to me, but it will be the last.
From the moment we spoke to Robert, Salesman @ the dealership it was very comfortable. He communicated with us before we arrived and gave us lots of details about the vehicle we were interested in. He texted us when we were on our way and even came in on his day off. We found our dream jeep and cant be happier. We would be happy to refer family and friends to this dealership. Great service and made the buying experience a pleasure. Ask for Robert if you go in. He was awesome!
I arrived alil early and when I walked in service building and waited to be helped. One of the employees looks at me and says we will be right with you (mind you Im the only customer there at the time) and starts to argue with another employee that was off shift I believe ( not in uniform and had his child with him) about who gets credit for a sale to the point the what I assume was a manager came out a settled the argument. I ended up being help by someone else that told me my car was going to take an hour and half to finish (I was waiting not getting a lyft) well 30-45 min pass and I see a car just like mine in the done area but didnt think it was mine cuz they said 1.5 hrs and that they would let me know when it was done. Well after an hour of waiting the finally come get me saying my car is done. It was the car my car that was done over 30 min before they let me know. So they let me sit there for another 30 min for no reason at all especially since I expressed I had my kids to pick up from school. I will go to another place to get an oil change from now on! They like wasting your time
I regret buying my ford Edge 2020 down here in North County Ford!! and will never ever buy a car from here again. The customer service is horrible. Since I bought the Edge 2020 this April, i spent most the time on the service department. I wanted to talk with the General Manager in sales but guess what he is too busy.Them I call customers service Ford to complain about my car that I want to returned and looks like they dont care about my concerns since I called back in July and still for somebody reaching outBut nothing my case still open. In sales department They’re great when they’re selling you the car but holding up when you are having issues with a new car its a complete disaster. Don’t waste your time or money! If you are looking for a new car without any issues I strongly suggest to never ever buy a Ford. pure lies to steal your money, BRAND NEW FORD EDGE 2020 THAT I BOUGHT IN APRIL 2020 A LOT OF ISSUES WITH THE CAR AND GUESS WHAT? NOBODY CARES INCLUDE THE 1800 FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR COMPLAINTS, THEY ARE WORKING FROM HOME BUT NOBODYS FOLLOWING UP THE COMPLAINTS. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME MONEY AND ENERGY. I WILL POST IN ALL SOCIAL UNTIL SOMEONE CARES AND FINALLY CONTACT ME. YES I WANT TO RETURNED THE CAR I DONT WANT TO SEE A FORD CAR PARKED IN MY GARAGE. I WISH I CAN GIVE YOU ZERO STAR.
Unprofessional saying you are approved wasting time then end up saying you need to put a bigger down payment weeks later... I do not recommend, many hidden fees as well
Best deals ever.
Terrible experience. Made a weekend appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation for a work vehicle. About 30 minutes after I dropped it off they called me to ask I come pick up the vehicle and reschedule because they were running behind and couldn’t honor my appointment. After some negotiations they were able to keep it and get it back to me two days later....for an oil change. When I picked it up it was double parked and took an additional 15 minutes to get the car. No discount, nothing really to make amends for messing up my busy work schedule. The service tech did give a “sorry about that mix up” as I paid $70 for an oil change and services I ultimately did not receive. To add insult to injury, after driving the vehicle for about 10 miles the tire pressure light came on. All 4 tires were under inflated the recommended psi, a service I paid for, so I stopped and spent another 15 minutes getting that in order. I think they also messed up the sensor because it will not turn off so I get the nice beeping reminder of North County Fords incompetence every time I get in the vehicle. Probably not their fault though, I bet my car has covid or something out of their control because these guys will not take any responsibility for their own incompetence.Gave one extra star because the vehicle was actually able to drive off the lot following their service, however I may have to amend that in the coming days given my experience of issues after service at this place.....Taking my business fleet to a new shop.
Don’t bother making an appointment here, they canceled mine and never called to tell me. I drove all the way over here to test drive a c Max and they sold it a day before.
Great experience. Got in a day early, cost was as promised and minimal wait time. Thank you!!
I had service done with my vehicle (oil change, tire rotation).. when I received my vehicle back the left head light was randomly not working. While trying to make an appointment and advice the service department of the issue they didn’t seem to care and said “bring it in whenever”, without making a legitimate appointment.North County Ford offers a Lyft service to take you back and forth to your home while servicing your vehicle. While attempting to get a ride back after hearing that my vehicle was ready I had to call north county Ford a total of 17 total times to get someone on the line, and to assist me. Every time I attempted to contact the service department no one would answer and their voicemail was full. Anytime I contacted a different department they said you need the service department, transferred me and then again it went to the voicemail, which was full. After multiple times of explaining that I simply needed a Lyft to come back and get my vehicle, the employees seemed as if I was asking them to fly to the moon and back.As a customer of North County Ford for multiple years and purchasing and leasing 4 cars from them, I’m disappointed in the lack of service and customer care each employee has for a customer. Not once did anyone seem to genuinely want to assist me except for one guy in the Parts Department.. and again he just transferred me to a department with, surprise, a full voicemail.I definitely cannot wait to end my lease with NCF and will sadly never buy or lease from them again.
