Emerald Auto helped us through the death of our 2007 Jeep saying not to put money towards resuscitation. We felt fortunate with their honesty. I actually have gone in a few times to have something checked out...expecting to pay out the wazoo, but they assured it was not critical and could wait for a later date to put together with oil or brake change to save on labor.

I was told that I need a new transmission. A $3500 solution not counting labor. I took my car to another mechanic who told me it was a sensor issue that cost me $350.00 to get fixed and my car is running fine. I dont trust them and would not recommend them.

Many, many thanks to Kevin who went out of his way to have our Ford Transit van ignition key programed. Being a 2018 van the shop had not programed one yet. It took Kevin several shops and 4 or more hours to find someone who could reprogram the key. To our surprise we were treated to a second programed key at no charge. Tenacity, patience and customer satisfaction is what you will find at the Emerald Auto Service Center. Highest of marks go to the service desk and especially to Kevin for not giving up on us.

My husband has worked in auto repair industry his ENTIRE life so he knows sales tactics and B.S so when we moved here we needed a new mechanic.Emerald was very honest, no pressure at all, gave us a full evaluation and estimate and allowed us to decide what service we wanted without the normal guilt trip that some other places will give if you decline a service.We have since brought ALL 4 vehicles in our family as well as our nephews truck.He was here on a 72 hour from the army in Arizona, when he truck broke and we told emerald that he needed to be back for morning formation they got him fixed up and out the door in time to make the drive back.Knowledgeable, efficient, and also offer a military discount. Not open on weekends

Went for an oil change and come out with a fender bender. The mechanic himself got my car hit AT the parking lot as he was backing up, to me thats being careless. It was minor but the pain of scheduling things and get my car fix was a major headache. It was UNPROFESSIONAL. It was supposed to be an hour of boring sitting down and a lot of waiting, but instead it turns out to be a 3 days asking the boss if i can get off work early to take my car to a body shop. Lets be honest, it was an accident but careless nonetheless. This should be 1, but ill give it a 2 for nice customer service. I recommended this shop to one of my friends, now Im going to have to contact him to not go here anymore cause I dont want his car get wrecked too and hate me for it. One last thing, this was my 1st car maintenance since i bought my car, so thank you for a wonderful experience. (SARCASM)

A good friend of mine told me about Emerald Auto, Since he is a good friend I took his word, and took my vehicle to Emerald Auto for some repairs and service... I had a coolant leak and i wanted it looked at Immediately.When I arrived i was greeted by Shannon. Kevin and his staff has treat my family and I very well over the years. I dont trust anyone else to work on my vehicles, only here at Emerald auto. The staff here is always consistent, no turn overs, and has the highest integrity. The owner treats his employees with respect and great care, so you will always have the same technician, and managers to help you and only make the necessary repairs. No up sales, or was I ever put in a uncomfortable situation to purchase something. Only the repairs that was necessary. Everybody always takes great care of you here. This place is like the old TV show Cheers where everybody here knows your name! I wish I can give 10 stars!

Clutch needed to be replaced. These guys took us in right away when I broke down on a busy week day. Price was expensive, but honest for a VW-much cheaper than if we were to go to a dealership. I called for a quote on getting a timing belt replacement service for my 1995 Honda Civic DX car since I am currently a customer of S & R Service Center. The owner and mechanic, (Nico Bosi) quoted me the price of $750.00 to do the full installation of the timing belt replacement kit.I wanted to compare what the quote would be at Emerald Auto Service Center. I spoke to Hector this service writer he quoted me the price of $635.00 for the timing belt replacement. Emerald Auto Service Centers quote is much lower because it is just the timing belt replacement not the complete installation of the timing belt replacement kit with the factory brand parts which is a reasonable quote of $750.00. The timing belt replacement is supposed to be done at the 70,000 or 90,000 mile service.Hector told me since my car is 24 years old even though my car has low mileage (41,000), I need to bring my car into his automotive repair shop as soon as possible because it is a wear and tear issue. It could be a wear and tear issue, I appreciate that Hector made me more aware of a potential problem. I wont know for sure until I get a diagnostic check at another automotive repair shop in the future.

Had a great experience fixing my sons Scion XB, prompt service in proper timing and manner. I recommend my friends and family to use Emerald auto service ctr. as their main shop for all their needs for all of the cars in the family.... if you are reading this you are at the right place.

I went to Emerald Auto Service for the Transmission Fluid flush and power steering fluid. After 3 hours of waiting, they said all is complete, I paid over 300 dollars and left. Next oil change I was told that the transmission fluid is very bad and has to be changed (at a different location), I decided to take my car to Honda and ask them about transmission fluid and they said the same thing. Obviously they never changed the transmission fluid, they just charged me for it. Despite the admin being very nice, the service is horrible and I do not recommend anyone going to them, unless you check every step of their work. You can not trust them.

Kevin, service mgr. is the best at customer service. Their work is excellent but for all of that youd better make an appt.

I needed a battery and I found them on the AAA site as an approved service center. I made an appt. got there a little early they didnt make me wait until my scheduled appt. time they took me in. Kevin and the employees have great customer service. Kevin recommended the battery that best suited my situation. Needless to say I was in and out in a timely manner and on the road. I would use their service again.

I took my car in for noise that it was making and they try to sell me a new alternator and told me that I had to replace all three pulleys on my vehicle when its a 2011 Jeep Patriot afterwards I took it to a very good mechanic friend of mine that had his own shop he told me theyre kind of overpriced me and theyre trying to sell me things that I didnt need now the alternator than I do have to last me for another two years or year-and-a-half but it wasnt necessary thing to replace at the moment they were trying to charge me $900 to do a job that wasnt even needed at the moment and I still got charged $110 for an inspection fee also I was told that they took off the shocks the struts and some other stuff that wasnt necessary to take off and that they were going to charge me $575 just for that please save your money and go to somebody else that you could actually trust and thats honest enough to tell you whats really wrong with your vehicle.

How this place keeps getting rid of all the bad reviews they have been racking up over the coarse of time (listed on different web pages IE:Google/ Yahoo) amazes me. See for yourself. Still some on there. The good ones? Most likely friends of the owner? parents of kids on the baseball team this shop sponsors and buys uniforms for? Most likely with their logo on the jersey. Why not? Free Advertisement, phony image, and what the hey the money isnt coming out of his pockets. Im sure Im not the only one of his customers that paid for a few seasons worth of uniforms with the overcharged bill they racked up on me. New fictional air conditioner parts, Freon, and a cornucopia of fantasy repair hours. I would have had better luck and results taking my car to Disneyland and asking them to repair it! The only positive note about this place, As another reviewer noted on Google,is they have friendly shuttle service.Maybe they should go into a cab service. But as far as auto repair goes I was absolutely hosed on an air conditioner job then juiced again when i took it back. Rather then them honor the warranty. They should keep their warranties wrapped up around the toilet tissue holders in the restrooms at least then they would be usable and worth something then! They claimed it was a different problem and charged me again but hit me up for the same part twice (the same exact temperature sensor) listed on both invoices caught by the mechanic at a different repair shop I had to take the car to finally get it fixed! He also informed me and noted it was impossible to have charged my A/C with as much freon as they listed. The compressor wasnt capable of holding that much. Got a grudge against your money go ahead and use these people. Like to reference Vermin instead but posting policy prohibits. You too can have an air conditioner that doesnt work after paying them to the tune of $1,444.13. Rather then apologies and making things right the owner tried to stick it to me for shocks as I definitely didnt need. (after his so called free customer complimentary inspection) How do I know I didnt need them? I just had new ones installed all the way around week prior. If you do decide to use this place make darn sure you dont smile if you have any gold fillings and take a good size jar of Vaseline with you.. NO HONESTY, NO INTEGRITY, NO CONSCIENCE!! They ought to be in jail instead of running an auto repair shop.ITS YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS and your decision to do whatever you desire. However, JUST DONT SAY YOU WERENT WARNED about this place!

We had an air conditioning system replaced on an older Buick about 10 months ago using a NAPA compressor. When the compressor failed in Austin Texas last month NAPA said they would replace the compressor but not pay for the nearly thousand dollars in labor costs. It seemed to me and to Mike at Golden Wrench that the labor was not the issue but the compressor was but NAPA would not warranty the labor even though the installation was not the problem. Mike at Golden Wrench really stepped up and took care of the labor even though it was not technically his problem the problem was with NAPA. The problem took several weeks to solve but after a lot of persistence by both Mike and myself the garage in Texas replaced the failed compressor and Golden Wrench picked up the labor charge. I really respect the way Mike and Golden Wrench stepped up and handled the problem rather than hiding behind technicalities the way NAPA did. Golden Wrench was great but NAPA has sadly gone the way of most huge corporate entities that farm out their work to cheap Chinese companies who couldnt care less about quality. Avoid NAPA at all costs but dont lump Golden Wrench into that category. Excellent Garage!
