If you are looking for an honest mechanic; you found him. Not only did he work with me and my time schedule, but he also answered all my questions. Even after hours. I went in dead set on a valve cover gasket repair but after a quick look he informed me that the gasket was fine, it was actually a different area that was the problem. He showed me where the problem area was and thoroughly explained to me the details of how and why. Great work, great price, and great timing. Id recommend him to anyone.

Best mechanics in all of north county. Honest, hard working and customer service is real here! They saved me $1200.00 that a dealership was going to charge for stuff I didn’t need! A customer forever. It took a while to find ‘the one’ but never will I trust my car to anyone else.

Brought our Truck with cabover camper with some oil leaks in and to get checked out. Joaquin had such great customer service he told me what was wrong with the truck, wasnt able to do it the work, because the truck with to heavy for his lift. Got very helpfull (cost saving) advice from Joaquin to fix a stuck horn on my car. Did the work myself seeing how it wasnt the poorly diagnosed clockspring. Split and cramping a wire, $10 auto part store type of fix.

Ive been to Alpha Auto several times this year (bought a $1500 VW beetle without getting any sort of mechanic check first.... my fault!). Every time Ive been by Frank and Joaquin have been able to help and get me on the road quickly. They are incredibly fair priced, honest and efficient. I am new to San Diego area and am so glad I found these guys! Highly recommend!

Youre probably not sorting through reviews if you had a pleasant experience with your last mechanic. Save yourself the agony and take your car here. Trust me, Ive been through the drill and car troubles suck. From the get I was treated by Joaquin and Anna with a friendly, professional and honest approach. My Mercedes S500 had a unique problem that Joaquin outlined and walked me through my options in a brother-like way. I wont hesitate to tell my wife and daughters to take their non European cars here as well. Its nice to know that value-added service still exists.

Frank and Alpha European Auto has been taking care of my cars for years, first with my Volvo and now my Audi A4. For my A4 Frank and Alpha Euro literally saved me thousands. My car was getting close to ending its pre-owned warranty and Frank noticed that it was consuming a lot of oil. I had told the dealer about that before but they had said it was not big deal. Franks advice was to take it to the dealer again before the warranty expires, which I did and the dealer ended up doing a major engine repair to fix the oil issue, all covered under the warranty. I feel that Alpha Euro is always looking out for me and whats the best maintenance for my car. I wont take my car anywhere else.

If you dont feel like reading a novel, Ill cut to the chase. Frank is the most honest and ethical mechanic Ive come across and I will be happy to bring my car to him again when needed. His staff communicates well and kept me informed the whole time. I have a 2013 Volkswagen GLI autobahn that had a check engine light on. The car was running rough and I had no idea what the trouble was. Frank diagnosed a bad intake manifold and had the car back to me the next day. He communicated the whole time, and texted pictures of the repair. I left happy, good experience but no less than I would expect. Heres why I commend his honesty and ethics. Frank only uses dealer parts, no third party bits. A few days after I took the car home, a sensor on the new Volkswagen part failed setting off the check engine light again. To be clear this was a fault with Volkswagens parts, not Franks workmanship. I called Frank who had me bring in the car. Without even asking he gave me a loaner car for free while he looked at the car, and replaced the defective sensor for free! My car has a lot of miles on it and he could have told me anything was wrong. The car feels like new! He stood by his work, got the car fixed, and did it with a great attitude and no hassle. Very happy I found this place.
