They really told me over the phone that they would be able to do electrical work for me just to tell me that it seemed easier that expected and that he can’t do it without looking at the car gave me a phone number and walked away, made me pay a few hundred just to be towing my car around town.

Allen is the only place you should ever take your vehicle to. Guys got alot of integrity, and I consider him a good friend. Most shops will take you for all youve got but not Allen. He will always charge you less than what others will charge you, and if theres an issue with the work he does he will fix it. I always make it a point to steer anyone towards his shop.

It might look a little messy, dirty and crowded but,.. thats because Allen the Owner is the MAN in charge and he has so much business that there is no where to park. No he does not store cars at his business, all those cars you see is a Customer getting in line for repairs. Because Allen is the backbone of his business, checking up on every job or repair being done to make sure the job is being done efficiently, correctly and in good timing. He does not put one Customer above another, he treats everyone equally fair and honest. He is constantly running and working hard to please his Customers completely. Ive been taking my business to Allen for years. Hes always been professional and honest. If theres an issue hell make it right. Definitely worth the drive to vista from Escondido.

Service was fast and at a great value. They explain what the issue is and fix it. They do not yet to sell you more services beyond what you asked. So if you need more than one thing done, let them know because they talk fast! I think thats a big party of the efficiency though and they are a nice group of people. They also showed me the damaged part so I could see the issue.

This place is always busy and full of cars but I can see why now! This place charges decent prices and they get the job done fast! I went in to get my front Axels replaced, get my AC fixed and to get an electrical problem with my tail light fixed. They only do what is asked or needed which I really liked. All the workers were working hard AF. I got a 1 yr warranty on the AC compressor and the Axels. The only thing that was iffy was that I didnt get an actual warranty form, the guy just wrote 1 yr warranty on the paper that lists what was done In pen. When I got in my car my AC was working, Axels no longer clicked and my tail light was no longer having electrical issues. I was very happy! Thanks Allen and staff!

Lens Auto took on a difficult project of updating and retrofitting my 2007 Lexus with a more of an updated look to a 2015 front body enhancement and headlight replacement. The service rep Andy continuously informed me of the ongoing status and I could not be happier with the end results.

Quick service. Only did what I asked, only suggested necessity items. I asked him to check my brakes... He walked up touched the rotor and caliper... Said I had about 50-60% left and to come back if I noticed any performance issues. Done in 10 seconds. No charge. First time I went in. After that, I got my oil changed, he said 30 min. It was done in 30 min.

Allen’s Auto has far surpassed pricing and quotes from other dealers and repair shops. The is the only place I ever coming again. I was quoted 700 on something and he did it for 300. I’m willing to drive from San Clemente just for his honest and great pricing!

Passing by this place seeing all the vehicles out in the front, I never thought Id actually go there, when I finally did I realized why it looked the way it did out in the front (because everyone wants to go here!). Me and Allen had this long conversation about Members Only jackets, because I was wearing one, and well lets just say, the repair was so easy for him he didnt charge me a dime for it!

For years I worked at a car dealer that used Allen to work on our cars and got to know him and his crew very well. Always kind, never trying to pull a fast one on someone with less mechanical experience. Planned or not, he has lifetime customers. Where can I begin? Wow! Allen’s Auto Repair in Vista, CA is probably the cheapest and most honest Mechanic shop in North County, if not San Diego. I have been dealing with Allen now for more than 6 years. He has worked on 5 of my vehicles. I remembered the first time I went to Allen’s, because I had previously had a quote from another mechanic that I felt was high. Allen not only quoted me lower, he told me that I didn’t need to fix unnecessary things at that time. He has always been honest. It definitely shows too because his business is always booming. His lot is continuously full of cars being repaired.Allen will never try to get you to repair a part on your vehicle that is not necessary. If your brakes are bad, he will tell you. If you only need the front done right away but you still have time and can save money that day, he will also tell you. Allen not only once your business, he wants it forever.I recently had a friend that needed to have an over haul on his jeep. He had been to 3 mechanics who had all quoted him over $2,000 on the total repairs including parts and labor. I told him to go to Allen’s Auto Repair because Allen would take care of him and give him the best price in town. My friend later told me that not only did he take my advice but that I was right about Allen. He said that Allen did his repairs for around $1500 which was hundreds less than the other 3 mechanics had quoted him. He said that Allen had done a wonderful job on his jeep and that it ran great. I love going to Allens and has been going there for 3 years or more. Allen has always been honest and up front. I thought going to him at first being a woman he was going to try to rip me off. He did not, in fact I told him I needed new brakes (which was true) and I made up something else being wrong with the car. Allen took a look said yes you need brakes but nothing else. He is a good hones mechanic which is hard to find.

BEWARE!This business is too cheap to purchase space to park their customers cars. They will take your car and park it on busy side streets (sometimes illegally) leaving your vehicle at jeopardy of being damaged or ticketed.This is the last place I will ever take a vehicle again.

You guys are amazing. The President of The San Diego Chapter of the Cadillac has his own shop and access to others... I had multiple issues, needed replacement parts, unknown (problems the dealership charged hundreds for but ultimately Couldnt fix and said that was how is was going to be...) -and other issues that needed diagnostics and it was just a mess... I couldnt work without the car and needed all the work done that day when it finally wouldnt turn on for half a day after dying on me. My buddy (The President of the Cadillac Kings) was going to pay for the work and said TAKE IT TO ALLENS. Allens did everything it needed and addressed all the issues we were scared with... it was all done and was ready to be picked up before I was ready to get it. The price we got from other places was 4 times (4X) or (400%) higher and they were only going to do half of the work he did... I was amazed. I then took my Moms car there after she was going to take it to her lifetime mechanic... same thing, 25% of the cost... 1/4 of the cost she was quoted with her guy...and they werent going to do all the work Allen quoted. Then my girlfriends car blew... it already sounded REALLY bad... she was rough with it and it had multiple issues when she got it though they got worse and worse... finally it was smoking badly and leaking everywhere... the engine had blown and there was coolant in the oil... like all these expensive components had blown so badly they were inside each other... this was the end of the vehicle any where else on Earth, he did all the work in one week. I dont know what happened but she said it was $1,000... blown engine and radiator, gaskets, lines... God knows what else... adjustments up the wazoo... radiator, engine and more... for a grand. Thats nuts. Thanks Allen!!! Your shop is crammed, jammed with tools and oily sockets piled a million deep in every toolbox and bucket... your mechanics are busy and all in grease covered work overalls, theres no seating for while you wait... you have a real shop... not somewhere where more time is put into cleaning the floor and stocking finance opportunity literature. Your mechanics remind me of all my friends from Military School (we had 40% international...a lot of Asians haha - they taught me a lot I even have chop-sticks in my bag or briefcase in case I get noodles somewhere!
