We had our entire home refinished by Beach Hardwood Flooring company. We quickly became very frustrated working with the owners/operators of Beach Hardwood Floors. The communication and follow through was horrendous. It was challenging to receive timely return calls, did not communicate clearly when we could/could not walk on floors during the process, and told us we could not stay in the home for one night, when it ended up being two. We repeatedly asked when we (a family of 5) should be out of the house and not walk on the floors. The foreman spent very little time at the house, acted like it was not worth his time, and it was clear nothing was noted in writing, so we had to repeat requests and communicate to the workers ourselves. The crew was very nice and communicated with us well; however, they were either being rushed by ownership or lacked help. 7-8 places were missing stain and/or poly. There are specs in the poly as if it was either dirty or the floors were not properly vacuumed. The space under the refrigerator wasn’t sanded, stained or poly applied, even though they charge extra for pulling out the refrigerator. They came back and repaired/finished most of it but only after multiple calls, being ignored on the day they no showed on us. They definitely made an already stressful situation more stressful. We will not use them again on any of our properties.

We had an awesome experience with Beach Hardwood! They installed over 1600 square feet in our home, including stairs, and we are very pleased with the work! The workers were friendly and worked hard. We had a great experience with the owners, Jay and Brad, and we would use them again.

Outstanding company. Brad and Jay are fantastic. We used them recently to replace about 1200 sq ft. of engineered hardwood that had sustained water damage. We replaced with Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP). We shopped around and got about 5 different quotes. Beach Hardwood Floors came in as one of the most competitive quotes, but what really drove our decision was Brads professionalism and knowledge when he came out to do the estimate. It was clear he knew his stuff and we would be in good hands.They worked with us and got us on the schedule ahead of their original anticipated timeline because of another cancellation. It was about 2.5 weeks from when I paid my deposit that they started work, and they completed the job in only 3 days. The on-site crew showed up on time every day, took only a short lunch, and were all around very professional. I highly recommend this company!

An excellent job! The floors turned out beautifully. They helped me figure out what would work best given what I wanted, advised me throughout, accommodated my schedule, and ensured that the final result was perfect. Jay and Brad oversaw the process and their teams were wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

We used Beach Hardwood to install flooring in three rooms to match the hardwood we had in the other parts of the house. From start to finish they were very professional and helpful. It was clear they care about the quality of their work. Marshall and his team came in, answered all of my questions and got after it! They even replaced two thresholds in another part of the house that they noticed were cracked. I cannot possibly speak highly enough of them. I’ve already recommended their services to other friends and neighbors!

We worked directly with one of the owners, Brad, and he was extremely professional and patient, helped us pick the best value for our budget, and worked with us along the way even through a few last minute changes we had to make. The crew worked hard and they worked quickly getting our floors done in less time than we expected and the finished product is nothing short of amazing. Beach Hardwood Floors and More installed new floors in our local insurance agency, we were looking for a little face lift and because we are a busy office, the timing was key. They were more than accommodating with our schedule, the work was done quickly and professional and the floors turned out amazing! Great Work at a fair price! They took some old hardwood floors and made them look better than when they were new. The stain was exactly what we were looking for and the job started and finished when they said it would. The work included lacing in some new wood where we had removed a wall and after the work was complete it is impossible to tell where the patch was done. The workers were professional & polite and kept us informed as each step was completed.

I called and asked Beach Hardwood to install hardwoods for our MBR and upstairs before moving in. They did a great job in helping me select a matching product and completing the work before move-in. We used Facetime to help me see products and did a great job with the installation. Beach Hardwood was phenomenal and come highly recommended.

I recently had Engineered Hardwood floors installed throughout my Condo by Beach Hardwood Floors. They were, hands down, the best company I have ever dealt with. From their owners, to their entire installation team, they did an outstanding job. One of the owners, Brad, explained the entire installation process, and measured the condo for materials needed.The Installation Team showed up on time everyday, and their Lead Installer, Marshall, took the time to explain what they would accomplish each day. Marshall worked with his team and took the time to pour through boxes of pre-finished Hardwood to ensure the mixture of stained colors on the Hardwood, matched perfectly throughout the condo. They did an outstanding job installing the floor, and cutting each piece of flooring to perfectly fit against the cabinets, baseboards, and fireplace. The staining they did on the quarter round was an exact match to the stain on the floors. When the job was completed, they did a thorough job cleaning and buffing the floor.I couldn’t be happier with the job they did, and I highly recommend Beach Hardwood Floors for any of your flooring needs. I will not use another company from this point forward!

Beach Hardwood Floors installed new floors with a walnut accent in our front entry and living room, removed carpet and stained a set of stairs, and stripped and refinished a kitchen, dining room and hallway. We were very happy with their work, and with the people who did the work. Helpful suggestions were offered for our consideration along the way. We also appreciated that Brad kept us informed, was responsive to any inquiries, and came back for a small touch-up. We would highly recommend them to others.

During a bathroom remodel, we discovered the builder had extended the bathroom floor only to where the original vanity from 1987 sat. Once we removed the old vanity and went to install the new one, we had a large gap of exposed floor showing. Our condo unit was flooded in November 2016. We got a good recommendation from another condo unit owner who said Beach Hardwood Floors had done an excellent job for he and his wife. And...BHF did an excellent job on our place, too. The product recommended by BHF is better than the original flooring - waterproof, a softer finish, nice color and grain. The installation was perfect. Then the movers came in and gouged the floor. Dammit! BHF came back, pulled out the damaged boards and made it all perfect again. Job well done! We have no complaints and highly recommend Beach Hardwood Floors of Virginia Beach.
