I called them about the 🌳 on the street generating poison ivy all over the fence and into the backyard, the said theyll send someone to take care of it, it never happened.I called 4 times about my trash 🗑 that was damaged by their truck 🚚 it is top less thanks to the truck... we pay at least $88 every month ... they keep telling me that a supervisor will call me back but Im still waiting 😒
I work for HRSD. Theyre a great company to work for and They are great at what they do.Every one at HRSD is dedicated to keeping our waterways clean and eliminating many disease causing pathogens through Sewage Treatment .
Nice move VA Beach city council as always you found a way to pick pocket residents out of there hard working money by moving billing charges from a bi-monthly or every two month to a monthly basis and as a consequence now Im paying more than 30% more. Please be more cost-cutting conscious and keep your hands out of my pocket. Thanks

New billing system in effect last November 2017? NO email correspondence? My 3 year auto bill pay terminated this July and this state mafia company cancelled my payments. NO phone calls but sent someone to my house to give me a late bill notice. Called Caroline and Dawn who were the customer service rep and supervisor. Caroline passed the buck and Dawn just apologized 17 times. Thanks VA, cant wait to move!!!!
After purchasing a rental property, I had water service started via Newport News Waterworks. I was not told that this also created an HRSD account. Since I didnt live at the address, I didnt know about the account and did not receive a bill until it was turned over to a collections agency. While the customer service reps were extremely nice, the auto photo service was infuriating. The first rep that I talked to explained the account and charges and then directed me to the auto pay by phone. However, she didnt give me my account number so I couldnt make a payment. There was no way to get back to a customer service rep without hanging up and making a new call. I called back and got my account number and was transferred to the auto payment again. This time I didnt have the amount and I couldnt get back to the start menu. I called back a THIRD time and was able to use the automated service to get my account balance and make a payment. Not a user friendly process.

The trash pickup service is ok but the workers themselves dont care about customer service in the least. If I could hire another company I would buy since I have water with Newport news I have no choice.
