Best company I’ve ever worked for! Great management and staff, they reward you for the hard work you do, very understanding, appreciate the NLA family!
This is a terrible company. I called for service due to brown spots on my lawn. I called three times to ensure that they call when on the way. I was assured that they would. They didn’t call and still haven’t. Apparently they evaluated the lawn yesterday and left a note with someone.Find another company!
Yard is the worst I have seen it in 10 years repeatedly asked for sevice and told they would take care of the problems at the next visit. They tell you to give it two to three weeks and then let them know when you do they tell you Ok we are so close to the next scheduled visit we will take care of it then and charge you for it. The service techs are great and knowledgable but the product really are unreliable and stink! Overpriced and under deliver! TRUGREEN is about 20% cheaper and follow up just ask my next store neighbor. Really wish they could fix the mess they left me.
Worst lawn company out there. Had requested service to rid my yard of chinch bugs and all that they did was kill off all of my st Augustine grass and replace it with at least 50 different weeds. I tried to cancel my service twice and both times the company basic refused to cancel me and came up with some BS story to keep me on. During the second attempt to cancel I once again complained about the garbage service and the manager came out to see my lawn and said that their company did a horrible job and he would make it right at no charge to me. One month later the company comes out and treats the lawn and even more weeds are growing still and still no change. Yes I realize it is winter but my side lawn is still green so doormat grass is not the case quite yet. Long story short the company came out yesterday Jan 6, 2021 and gives my lawn another treatment but instead of doing what they said they would do and repair the lawn with no charge, the company charges my CC. After a phone call with the manager who promised to make it right lied to me and say oh I promised one free service and a free aerate in the spring. Not what I signed up for. DONT call this company worst product that I have ever seen.
Turned my lawn around quick!
Natural Lawn of America has transformed my disaster of a lawn, riddled with weeds and moles/voles to an almost flawless green lushes lawn in just under 2 years. They responded quickly for in-between treatments when weeds tried to come back. I opted for the organic treatment due to my dogs. Its well worth the money! The office personnel is friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend them!
We’ve been using Natural Lawn of America service for 2 years now. The improvement in my lawn is fantastic! The cost is reasonable compared to me trying to do it all in the past. All I do is mow, according to their instructions, and make sure it’s watered. That’s it! Kudos to you their professional staff! I’m one VERY happy customer!!Steve BedellVirginia Beach, Va
Timely very good job .Im very happy with service.
Great company for all your lawn care needs. On time, knowledgable, and friendly.
Good services with good results. Scheduling can be a bit difficult though
Very satisfied with the customer service and of course the lawn service. My lawn has never looked better and the price is definitely fair with many different options available. Ive used them for almost 3 years now, and I would recommend.
Great service all the time.
Great service and less chemicals with better results
I have more weeds since I started all summer
BLUF: Natural Lawn killed large sections of my lawn by failing to properly treat for and control weeds that eventually overran the yard.Natural Lawn was recommended by a friend who had a great lawn. I had been caring for my lawn on my own for years, and in the interest of saving time, I decided to turn my lawn over to Natural Lawn. The initial phone call in early Feb 2018 went well, and they got me set up for service. Their technicians showed up on time a few days later and applied the fertilizer as advertised. They showed up again each month and applied fertilizer. Each time they would leave a note on the door with recommendations which I followed. Unfortunately, by June my lawn was becoming overrun with yellow nutsedge, which their weed control is supposed to treat. I emailed them in June, July, and again in August about treating the yellow sedge and other broadleaf weeds that were invading large sections of my lawn. Im not sure why I had to contact them about the weeds each time, as it would have been obvious to their technician who applied the fertilizer that the weeds were a problem. One would think they would just treat for the weeds when the fertilizer is applied. By September, the weeds had taken over large portions of the yard and squeezed out the grass. In other parts of the yard, the grass was not thriving at all. I finally had a manager come out so we could discuss the condition of the yard. He first told me that we were cutting the grass too short. I explained the yard had not been cut in 6 weeks; the reason the grass was short was because the grass was not thriving. Next excuse was the blades on the lawnmower were not sharp. Nope, I sharpened them myself twice – once in April and again in August. So then he wanted to see the lawnmower, which I showed him with the deck height set on the top setting (a 3” cut). He then claimed my lawnmower was too old and couldn’t cut high enough. Ok, fair enough, it is an old lawnmower; but it is well maintained and a 3” cut should be high enough for tall fescue. Next excuse, I was using the low quality seed. Wrong again – I get Southern Belle from Turf and Garden which is a high quality fescue blend. Then it was the yard needs to be aerated. I own a core aerator, so the yard gets aerated. At no point did he address the fact that the weeds had taken over the yard due to their failure to properly apply weed control or the fact that the grass was not thriving. Everything bad about the lawn was blamed on me (cut too short, old lawnmower, no aeration, etc.). I asked about the soil sample they took back in February and the pH of the lawn. He stated that the pH was a little acidic and they would be treating for that with lime, and that could explain why the lawn wasn’t thriving. He stated once the lime was applied the lawn would likely do better and they would get things better during the cool months, and it was hard to fix a lawn over the summer. Well if you couldn’t get my lawn to thrive over the summer, then what was I paying for? And why wasn’t the pH corrected months ago if it was keeping the grass from thriving. I can honestly say that this summer was the worst my lawn has been in the 3 years since I started putting an effort into making my lawn look good. At the end of September, I had to put down Round Up to kill off all of the weeds and invasive Bermuda grass, and then dethatch, aerate, and reseed in October. I have decided to go back to caring for my own yard as I cannot afford to pay over $1,000 a year for a service that does not perform as advertised.Closing thoughts: I have a large, challenging lawn – I’ll be the first to admit that. But if you are not up to the task, then tell me. I’ve used the same lawnmower, aerator, and sprinkler system to care for my yard for the past several years with good results. The only thing that changed this year was that I let Natural Lawn take care of fertilization and weed control with very poor results.
This is a reliable, responsible and professional company. They do what they say, they dont over promise and are appropriately priced.
Great, consistent service!
After 2 years and 2 seedlings worse my lawn has ever looked. What is sad that it’s no bigger than a postage stamp.
They dont serve my area...
