Kathy Hershey...who happens to be our realtor, has lied on more than one occasion. Now she is trying to charge us $75 for a service call because the ac froze over...when in fact we have been here more than a year, and have complained about how hot it has been in the upper part of the condo. Her response was that heat rises and that is the way the ventilation system is set up. When the gentleman came out to look at it when it was froze over he informed me that the reason. It has been hot upstairs for over a year is because the shutters in the attic were closed. He corrected the issue, which I knew was an issue simply because Ive had several places. Which tells me, had they been open the power bill would not have been so high. Ive had to constantly keep it cool in hopes of cooling the whole place down. Not saying Century 21 is a bad company, just saying get a different agent. The bad thing is that she thinks Im not intelligent, but I have a pretty good rapport with the actual owner.
As of today, Century 21 Top Producers is being investigated for fraud for the HUD. Their property manager Glen Ryder allegedly has kept for himself security deposits, stating that the tenant never paid it and kept to himself money for repairs presenting doctored invoices and leases. Making me loose upwards of $3000DeEtta Gavin (Century 21 Top Producers broker for Mr Ryder) does not answer questions.Contact me to get copies of email, texts, doctored documents and call logs.
This company is very unprofessional. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.I have been trying to get an issue resolved to no avail! Ive even written an email of complaint to the manager and havent gotten a response. This was months ago! My advice? Work with a different company. You wont regret it.
I would not recommend this group as a property manager. I cannot comment on the sales side. We had Linda Richie who was one of the worst that we dealt with. Not very organized nor did she communicate well with issues that came up. I would look at other agents first. This is not a complaint because we did not get our deposit back as we got our full deposit back as we left the house in better shape than we received it. The front door was broken the whole year that we rented. The compacter never worked. The fireplace did not work correctly many times. We had to get everything repaired. She did nothing.
