I had a fire in Chesapeake, Va it was absolutely devastating. I was extremely exhausted and also hospitalized. Selecting Servpro of Virginia Beach was the best thing I could have done. If you do select them as the clean up, request DWAYNE! This man was exceptional!!! This man handled EVERYTHING. He was always professional, everything was handled on time and I never had an issue that he couldn’t solve. He always kept in close contact. Always answered and everything was completed exactly how it was supposed to be. Dwayne is amazing

This company is extremely unprofessional I’m deployed proud to be serving the greatest country on earth. My parked truck was hit with servpro service vehicle the owner came out and assessed the damages and agreed to pay for the repairs. My wife took him at his word. She took time out of her busy schedule to get my truck assessed for the repair as per request of owner. Servpro refused to pay and said they don’t know what she is talking about? We have pictures and witnesses testimony and that’s now for the insurance to handle. I don’t care that the truck was damaged but the lies I do care about especially to my wife who is alone while I’m deployed and who trusted a fellow American, it’s sad. Please think twice before doing business with a company like this.

Thank you ServePro for sending Justin to assess our leak in the kitchen that extended to the 2nd floor bathroom. Justin was super knowledgeable and explained the process every step of the way. We were so impressed with Brian and Zach they too were very knowledgeable and explained the demo process of my kitchen floor which was 5-6 layers deep of ceramic tile and layers of linoleum to get to the subfloor to dry. They were very clean with the demo, we could not have asked for more! Dre and Dexter worked under the house with the insulation removal they too were fantastic! Having said all that, Serve Pro Oceana of Virginia Beach, we feel have gone above and beyond to train their staff on GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! From start to finish, it was a very easy and professional experience. The workers who came to work on my house know exactly what to do and walked me through step by step. They were knowledgeable and were able to answer any question I had. The follow up service was thorough as well.

Amazing, detail-oriented and thorough are three words that I would use to describe Duane PC, Katherine (assistant), Dre and Dexter crew! They came to the house immediately after our water supply line caved and caused tremendous water damage in the house. They walked me through the process of what was happening and what would happen. They explained the different phases and the moisture levels. This is the first time my family has experienced this and I was scared that we would be taken advantage of. We were not and Im so glad that our insurance contacted ServPro in Virginia Beach, who allowed the team to work with us. They are phenomenal!

We had significant water damage in our kitchen from the leaky dishwasher. Our Insurance suggested ServPro to complete demolition of the damaged kitchen island cabinets, floor, moldy drywall and provide mold mitigation work. Duane and his crew are the best. Duane clearly explained the whole process on the first appointment. We expected the demolition of our lovely kitchen would be a painful process. He listened to all our concerns and went above and beyond to make sure we are not disappointed.His crew carefully removed all the damaged moldy pieces, dried all the wet areas and tested for moisture and mold multiple times to make sure everything is dry and mold free. They propped the granite countertop to make sure it stays in place until new cabinets arrived and installed. All the mess was cleaned up and hauled away. Duane was there 75% of the time to oversee the whole process. If he had to go to another site he was always just a phone call away. I hope no one would experience the water damage like this in the kitchen but if you do ServPro are the best people to clean it up.

Excellent service and communication! Justin was amazing through the whole process, from start to finish! He was prompt with everything and all the contractors he recommended were fantastic! Throughout the entire process Justin kept me updated on every step and was the perfect liaison between the insurance company and all the contractors. This is the second time weve used Justin and both times have been super professional and amazing quality. When something needed to be done he was on it immediately and had the appropriate contractor out same day!! All the technicians were also very professional and really cared about our belongings and made sure everything was packed well and stored properly. The staff are very friendly and field staff responsive to a point. Problem came from communication with scheduling and office staff. Due to internal communication failures I had over three weeks added to initial remediation. Finally moved to another company after office didnt respond to request from myself and adjuster for clarification on estimates. They have been dropped from my insurance provider due to these issues.Thank you for your response, but my job did not fall behind. It was dropped repeatedly and finally simply abandoned. Im choosing to believe my insurance adjusters statement regarding who they recommend as they have been frustrated by this office as well. Perhaps a better response would be to provide assurances that your internal issues were being fixed so others dont have the same experience.

Production Manager, Duane D. came out to assess a potential problem at my house and was extremely professional and went above and beyond his job duties to ensure that my familys concerns were taken care of. I Highly Recommend using Servpro on anything that might need mitigation and restoration on your home! Justin and the crew team (Dre and Jared) have been absolutely phenomenal. We had a dishwasher leak that required mitigation. Duane Dickinson was the “first responder” on the scene. From the first time we spoke on the phone, I felt as though we were had gone with the right service to take care of the issue. He is courteous and knowledgeable. And his follow-up and follow-through has been impeccable! He and his team made the experience of water damage a little less painful. Hands-down, this is our go-to guy for all things moisture and crawl-space!

This is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. The employees are not on one accord and they seem to not be communicating with eachother. It took them a week to move 4 of bedrooms. Water pipe busted on the 1st floor due to being frozen in the winter. Our homeowners insurance company Hanover Ins.. suggested that Servpro handle the whole restoration/repair process. We agreed and we are so happy that we did.. Servpro is an amazing company to handle this kind of life issue. They offer restoration and repair clientele to take care of everything...even the plumber. All the Servpro clientele were so kind and so willing to work around our own availability. It takes awhile to accomplish all that needs to be done but they made it flow so nicely and left with everything looking wonderful. Every person I spoke to or came to our home was someone that I could sit down with and have a nice meal with....thats how pleasant all the staff is. Amazing people.

This company deserves more than 5 stars! We had a drainage leak in our crawlspace and Duane, the production manager from ServPro, came out to take a look. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Duane explained what the whole process would entail and sent me photos he took while he was under the house. I had a major leak in my home my entire flooring downstairs. 2 plumbers and a insurance representative came out and couldnt fine the leak. They recommend a leak detector which i had schedule. My insurance company suggests calling a restoration company to come out once the leak is detected so i called Servpro. Duane the production manager came out to assess what needs to be done after the leak is detected. During his inspection he moved my refrigerator and water was shooting everywhere, all this time it was my icemaker line. Thanks to Duane I was able to save hundreds if not thousands of dollars.The guys that remove damage flooring was very helpful as well. Duane is a great asset to your company you are lucky to have his on board.

Servpro did an great job of mitigating the water damage at our house. They came in after another team failed, and were excellent in both work performance and custormer satisfaction. Too bad the other teams we dealt with were not so great.

Don’t waste your time! We needed an estimate for a FEMA appeal after our home was flooded in Hurricane Matthew. Since it was an appeal, we were given a 14 day time frame to submit an estimate from a contractor on the damage or we would automatically be denied any assistance. We called Servpro immediately and they sent out Tim a few days later. We thought we were good to go as we still had over a week and a half for them to get the estimate back to us. However, that did not end up being the case. The customer service at the office was absolutely horrible as they gave us the run around anytime we called, stating anyone who could help us was always busy and therefore they promised to have someone call us back, but no one ever did. We also called Tim’s direct line and left messages, but he never returned those either. As we approached the end of our deadline and began to lose faith in them doing the job they told us they would, we reached out to First Atlantic Restoration. Luckily for us, First Atlantic Restoration was the complete opposite as Servpro and they bent over backwards to help us when Servpro left us stranded. Servpro has yet to give us an estimate, even though we are long past the deadline. Don’t waste your time with Servepro. (But I would highly recommend First Atlantic Restoration—they are amazing if you want a company that actually takes care of you).

I had water damage in my Kitchen from a faulty dishwasher. After contacting Shannon she quickly put me in contact with Duane. Duane was polite, quick, efficient and thorough! (he was so thorough that I barley had any questions.) Having this been my first homeowners claim, Duane and his team made me help very comfortable and confident in their work. Anytime I had a question I got an answer almost immediately. God forbid I ever have any more water damage, but if I do, ServePro VB is who I will call !

Servpro came to our rescue. We live in an upside down house near the bay in Virginia Beach and we had a leak in our dishwasher which is in in our 2nd floor kitchen which caused the ceiling in the first floor bedroom to say and soak the walls and carpet. Sevrpro took the bedroom down to outside walls and bare floors in the bedroom and installed fans, heaters and dehumidifier to dry out and prevent mold and mildew. The kitchen was stripped of cabinets and told flooring dried out. An affiliated contractor restored both rooms to better than new and Servpro cleaned up after all work and its like brand new rooms in 30 year old house.

Dainan Gibson with SEVPRO of Virginia Beach is awesome. We had water damage related to an overflow of a clogged dishwasher. I called her directly on a weekend. She sent out a crew to look at our situation. The crew took care of us. We were very satisfied by having a professional who cares for our well being of my family during this tough situation. She is quality and she makes sure stuff is done. I highly recommend them not only for water damage but for fire, mold, and biohazard. You will not go wrong by calling her and using her company.

This was the worst company ever. The store manager Jason and his so called office secretary have no professionalism. They back talk their customers and like to argue when a customer makes a complaint. Like I mean yelling on the phone and belittling their customers. They accused us of lying when their employee never showed up to our house. The employees of the company have no knowledge of the correct company procedures to follow when doing demo, restoration, as well as pack-outs. (We did our research and also had a family member that used to work for this company in another town.) They promised us many things would get complete during the process and afterwards we were left fighting with our insurance company to settle things with Servpro to get their things fixed back to prior damage. This company is the worst. I dont see how they can remain in business with their customer service.
