Bought a mustang from a dealership and turned out to be a dud. they got me in right after i spoke on the phone about what i thought was a bad water pump, turned out to be a cracked thermo housing. hit a pot hole a couple weeks later and thought my rack and pinion were shot, no they found out my bearings and shocks were bad they also found a few other bad things going on. both times i dropped my car off they had my car ready for me the following day. absolutely fast and reliable work. i live nearly 40 minutes away but it’s well worth a drive knowing these professionals are going to take good care of my car. i further plan on taking my mustang and any other vehicle in the future to this auto shop.

I have used London Bridge Auto and Transmission repair two times in the last year. Once for my husbands truck and once for my own car. Each time they have gone above and beyond in terms of communication and service. With my husband away for work, I have only ever worked with them on my own and they have been more than patient explaining what is going on and being honest of what the repair should be. I cant say this enough, but the honesty and service level is so refreshing. We are now forever customers and will be recommending anyone and everyone!

My husbands Equinox needed a new headlamp so I decided to have both replaced and had my son follow me so that I could drop the car off for repair. Amy the Service Manager let me know that it could be done while I waited, even though it was about an an hour to closing time. They had the part ordered and installed while I waited. I was so pleased. This is the second time we have used London Bridge Auto and Transmission Repair. We are happy customers who will be back! I never make reviews, but for the amazing service I received at London Bridge Auto it’s worth my time! I called to make an appointment and they got me right in! I believe the lady who helped me the entire time was named Amy. She was super friendly and very sweet. I typically feel uneasy bringing my car into a shop and trying to explain what is wrong, but Amy was extremely welcoming and patient with me. The waiting area is super cozy and clean too which is a plus. They have nice furniture, a flat screen tv, toys for kids, and a little coffee area. The bathroom is also really clean and nice. Amy called to explain to me what was wrong with my car and how they fixed it. Most car shops, in my opinion, try their hardest to make the most money out of you, not this shop! I will definitely be bringing my car here for now on. 10/10 review from me, and a big thanks to Amy and the mechanics. (I really hope her name was Amy lol)

As a female who doesn’t know cars we tend to feel that we will get taken for our money. I feel so incredibly at home here. I walked in and sat at the desk after a long 12.5 hour overnight at work and Nick who has seen me a couple times before asked me “if I was ok” and “how are you doing?” I knew it was genuine and the mechanics are worth the money. This company is military friendly too, huge plus in this area!

Repair was fast and was able to have my car done in the time quoted. Wish that repair communication was better and company policies was more clear on warranty and 20% off labor for your own new parts. A heads up would have been nice.

After three visits and spending over $1,250, they never were able to correctly diagnosis or fix my truck. It was running so rough when I drove it in, it almost wouldnt keep running. (2002 F-150 XL pick up with a 4.2 six cylinder).Among other things, they SAID they dropped the gas tank because it had bad gas? They kept it over two weeks the last visit, of the three I took it in for the same problem. (They also said it was still running a little rough because of its age the last visit and charged me over $900 that time.)I stopped at Food Lion on the way home and had to get a jump started to limp home with my groceries.Three strikes youre out.I took it to another mechanic yesterday. They diagnosed it and then installed new ignition wires, plugs and two weakcoils. $670. Drove it all afternoon. Its now running smooth, and I had it back in 24 hrs.London Bridge Auto and Trans. seemed like they wanted to fix the truck and were very polite, but just werent able to diagnosis it properly or fix it and I just kept spending money and losing time, with no results. I love the truck and have kept up with the maintenance over the 8 yrs Ive owned it. I almost resolved to buy a new motor I was so desperate. ($5,000+). Glad I took it to Cavalier Garage who fixed it the first time.

Unfortunately I have replaced two transmissions from two cars and if I had to do it again it would be with London Bridge because of Amy and her excellent customer service and when they say that there going to finish your car on a certain day they.will....

Nevermind my first post, I acted out of pure emotion because as a black man I dont want to feel like Ive been over charged based on my race, and because I thought my friend was fired unfairly, Im not playing the race card but it does happen that way . I think they are a good auto mechanic shop as long as everyone is on the same page. Sorry for any confusion on my part . I will square up my bill as soon as possible.

Had my Chevy Silverado transmission rebuilt there and also got my Jeep differentials serviced. Good people and good quality service. They actually rebuild the transmissions there onsite, versus swapping it out for a remanufactured one. They back up their work with a good warranty.

I dont usually post reviews, but on this one, I have to. I have NEVER EVER had a BETTER customer service experience than I have had with London Bridge Auto and Transmission. Jared and his guys are hands-down THE BEST. They rebuilt my 20-year-old Jeeps motor which was plain worn out. When they finished it (incredibly fast!), it felt like it had doubled the power, cut the sound in half, and everything just ran so much more smoothly. Well, that was what I agreed to pay them for, right?What I didnt pay them for was to completely check out the transmission and adjust everything that needed adjusting. I didnt pay them to find a leaking pinion seal and fix it, and I didnt pay them to recognize that the previous mechanic had improperly installed the clutch, which would have caused catastrophic damage to the engine in short order, replacing the seal, the clutch AND the crankshaft for a price so low Im scared to even type it! And they did ALL of that! And oh yeah....beat the other guys price by a country mile.Heres the best part: the engine developed a tiny leak around the head gasket. Not a big deal. Since the motor was cranking out way more power and compression than it ever had in its life, it comes with the territory. But I called Jared anyway. Not only did Jared come and get the Jeep to save me the trip, but he pulled it apart, replaced the gasket, put it back together, and just because he wanted to be extra safe, he tapped out and put in all new oil pan bolts so they wouldnt leak. AND THEN he found a little leak in the power steering switch that had nothing to do with anything they did, and he just fixed it anyway. And when he was done? HE DELIVERED IT BACK TO ME.This is how you do business folks. I will never go anywhere else. Jared and everybody at London Bridge have my business for life, and I will spread the word. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PRICES, AND THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK 1000%. You wont go wrong taking your ride to London Bridge Auto and Transmission. I know I didnt.

After moving to a new area and looking for a reliable shop we find London Bridge. They took great care of me and my wife with our van and truck. They didn’t over charge and are fast. If you want to get your vehicle taken care of by a trusted shop and not be over charged or ripped of I recommend London Bridge. We have gone there 3 different time for completely different issues dealing with brakes, sharp plugs and blown fuses. Thanks again London Bridge.

Terrible customer service! The customer service at the London Bridge location was horrific. Paul the employee who works at the front desk clearly knew nothing about being a mechanic and should stick to answering the phones, ONLY. When I dropped off my vehicle to have two major repairs done he assured me the labor and parts were 100% guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever came first. When I went to pick up my vehicle not only was the work not completed after he told me it was but he tried to tell me it was and make me take my car off the lot. The mechanic who worked on my car the first time looked like he was tweaking and was definitely high on something.I explained to Paul that the mechanic who did the initial work was not to lay a hand on my vehicle again or my lawyer would be involved. Instead there was another mechanic in the shop who I knew was passionate about fixing imports, his name was Timmy. If you should have to get work done at the shop for any reason at all request that Timmy do the work. I have a feeling that Timmy may open his own shop eventually hes smart and passionate about being a mechanic and I can see him going places.If you do absolutely have to get work done there double check the work they do and make sure your receipt says 100% parts AND labor guarantee...... mine did not and I had to make Paul change it.I would recommend just not going there at all.

These guys will go above and beyond, take the time to get it right, and are fairly priced. Theyve rebuilt my engine, changed my fluids, and even offered a ride home. This place knows solid customer service and has taken great care of my vehicle over the years. Highly recommend.

On Oct. 23, 2018 my whole life changed, when I called London Bridge Auto & Trans Repair !! If I could give them TEN STARS, I would do it!!I have a SLS Cadillac which I had taken to 6, yes, 6 Dealers in the area, to no avail...I had spent a fortune trying to get the problem solved, and all they said was We dont know what the problem is !!On the 23rd of Oct. I called London Bridge Auto, etc. and I took my car over to them !! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE BEST !!! Nick is a very nice and cool guy. Knowledgeable shop overall. Had my truck there for transmission repairs... end up going with AAMCO on Battlefield Blvd to finish the job but I would still recommend this shop for less major repairs then what I had going on. I would really give them 3.5 stars if i could!

Nick and crew have been great with our major car repairs. They have tried to help us find ways to keep our expenses down, instead of gouging us at every opportunity. Very communicative and helpful. Repairs stick and dont have to be redone. Knowledgeable and competent.

Great and expedient service. Got my son’s car in on short notice and turned it around in less than 24 hours. Took the time afterwards to explain some potential issues we may need to address in the future and then walked me through their products and processes. Went in for a radiator replacement on a 2009 Kia Spectra, left with knowing I have found the garage I will use in the future.Just wanted to provide an update to this great establishment. They got me in quick, diagnosed the problem which turned out to be covered under manufacturer recall warranty. Instead of taking my money they told me what I needed and sent me on my way to the dealership. You can’t find a more honest group of people than those who work at London Bridge Auto.

My first experience with them was over the phone, I was worried about having my Ma take my car in while I was at work, but they were COMPLETELY honest with her and explained things very well. Second time they replaced my rack and pinion and did a great job, down the road they threw on another one under warranty out of good faith. Third time they got my car in an out in less than 20 minutes when they were slammed on a Friday. These guys have taken great care of my family and my car. I wouldn’t recommend any other company to my friends.

I have an 2002, Ford F250. It needed major work done to it like, new head gaskets, front seal, transmission flush, alternator and tune up just to name a few! The truck never ran better after London Bridge Auto fixed everything. Paul, the manager, was a true professional and showed great customer service. The mechanics are above grade technicians. I went for a diagnostics and got the BEST information to aid me in what is the option towards repair.

My wifes 2005 Xterra had the dreaded transmission problem that is infamous among 05-10 Nissan owners. Called around to many shops to get pricing and London Bridge Auto came in $1,000 less! There was a slight problem with the transmission a couple of months after the repair, and they fixed it no charge. Nick is great, great attitude and these are very honest people. Highly recommend!

They seem to like taking lots of your money to tell stories later that are different from what services were promised after used motor issues arise afterwards, but will give you assurance next time will be better for thousands more?!? Thats not how warranty was explained before agreeing to use them.

I took my car over to London Bridge Auto and Transmission for a second opinion after another local shop told me that I needed to spend a little over $5,000 to have my transmission rebuilt. I was a little weary about spending that much money as my car is only 2 years old and I really didnt find it possible that a new car needed its transmission redone. I know very little about car stuff so before I spent that much money I wanted to get another opinion. Two of my co-workers referred me over to Paul at London Bridge and said that he would help me out. When I got there I was expecting to wait for hours just to have it diagnosed, but he had a mechanic take a look at it right away. To my surprise, it wasnt the transmission at all. Paul took his time explaining everything to me to make sure I understood what the real problem was. I was evidently over due for a tune up and my engine was misfiring really bad! I am so thankful for everyone over at London Bridge Auto and Transmission. They saved me a bunch of money that I did not have to spend, did an amazing job and I had my car back within hours. I will never go anywhere else to have my car fixed!

I started hearing loud noises from my car a few weeks ago. The first auto service place I went to told me that it was because my transmission was failing and that I needed to get it replaced/rebuilt which they said would cost me around $3500-$5500. The next day, my dad found this place online so we decided to take my car here to get it checked. They were really honest and told me that there was nothing wrong with my transmission and that the noise was actually coming from my ac compressor. They also recommended to get my sway bar links and harmonic balancer fixed. I went back there after a few days to get everything fixed. Now, my car runs smoothly and the annoying noise from my car is gone! I truly appreciate how honest and nice they are to their customers. Thank you so much!

They are incredible I was a little nervous at first because its hard to find an respectable auto shop but I found one they are very good reasonable and back up their work I was so relieved after they fix my car they had to replace a very difficult alternator I thought several things were wrong with it but they diagnosed it and told me that it was the alternator and repaired it and save me $4,000 on a transmission that I thought I needed and didnt I definitely recommend them for their outstanding work and ethical business

I had 2 vehicles worked on at London Bridge Auto and I thought the customer service was great. I brought my truck in to repair the hub bearings followed by my fiancé’s Escape. We had an issue pin pointing exactly where the problem was on her car but Paul was very helpful and customer orientated, which more than made up for the inconvenience of having to bring it back a couple of times. Each time I came in he was very attentive to my issue making me a priority. London Bridge was my second shop and a drastic improvement from the first. I am very pleased with the speed and quality of service received as well as the pricing.

Be careful about these reviews they offer a free oil change for good reviews. They offered us one after they messed up. We have a 2001 Ford Torus, they were running a deal to have the transmission pulled to look at whats wrong to give a quote of how much to repair. Well little did we know their deal did not include putting the transmission back in if you decided not to get work done. No it was not in the paper work at all! So pretty much they said either pay to have them put it back in or come have it towed and theyll put it in the trunk. So it made no since to pay double and not get the transmission rebuilt. Long story short after they rebuilt the transmission we still had problems with it and took it back to them three times where they had it for several days to wait on new parts. After that it still messed up. Finally took it somewhere else to find out they didnt rebuild the transmission they were replacing parts from picknpulls (found the item numbers) so not even getting new parts. Lovely, $2000 (which they stressed was a deal) down the drain for a point A to point B car that we didnt want to put money into but forced since they would not put back in the transmission. It worked better before they touched it but they said it was totally useless hmmmm interesting. Attorney said its hard to fight these types of merchants so we let it go.

Missed a broken part first time they worked on car. Took several days to order the part. Once the part came in it was the wrong part. Took several more days to get the right part. Took about 2 weeks total to fix my car.

They fixed my 2001 Subaru! --- which had been overheating. Bottom line, this is an honest and friendly shop that will work diligently to fix your problem. By my experience, they were straight arrows who charged a fair price and stood by their work with a 12k mile 12 month warranty.

Took my vehicle on for a standard oil change and came to pick up and they put full synthetic oil in it.. now I have to use synthetic oil and I cant afford that.. if I wanted synthetic I would have asked for it... cant trust them.

Ive been using LBAS for over 20 years. Eric is an excellent manager and calls me by name as soon as I walk in the door regardless of how long its been. They take of your problem at a fraction of the dealership price and dont go searching for other things that may need repair unless you ask them to. They stay very busy but always get my car in and out as advertised.

London Bridge Transmission and Indian River Transmission are both owned by a man name Travis. Both establishments are ran by inexperienced technicians. They bait you in then charge you for work that does not resolve your car problems/issues. The owner makes verbal promises to customers that are not upheld nor honored. Do not trust these businesses to work on your transmissions or perform any major work to your vehicles. My husband and I had two cars services with these companies and had major issues with the work allegedly perform. When asked for our money back for the work that was performed that did not resolve our specific transmission issues, we were promised proper service to correct the existing and continuous issue that we originally took the cars in for service. To no avail, the transmission work performed DID NOT fix the existing transmission problem. If you have issues with either one of these companies, file a court case against them, do not allow them to re- fix or try to repair your car for a 2nd or 3rd time. Do not trust any promises or verbal agreements because they will not honor them and they will try to get you to sign off on work not completed/done and agree not to pursue to court case. They have a law firm agent representing the two companies called Wolcott| Rivers| Gates. The companies agent is David M. Banstians at 301 Bendix Road, Suite 500 Virginia Beach 23452. If you receive any written correspondence from this agency concerning London Bridge Transmission or Indian River Transmission, do not settle out of court. Take your case to court for trial. We were lied to over the telephone, and we put our trust in the untrustworthy hands. Their word is NOT BOND.

03/08/2017..Still here one 8days later, they tell me a rebuild trasmicion would cost me 2000. yesterday they call me and says 3600$ went they got my trasmicion on the flor 😡😡😡they said they dont know it it was manual transmit .you profesional, if you tell me 2000$ you cant charge me now 3600.i hope everything work out whit this guys 🤦🏽‍♂️
