I understand that the garage area gets busy. And I say that to say, I am very happy that they fixed all my issues and very well. But I was a little concerned about the length of time they had my car. I dropped it off on a Monday morning, it wasn’t ready until that Thursday at 3:18. I really didn’t have a problem with how long it took, I had an issue with not knowing how long it was going to take so I could make proper arrangements on my end. I ended up having to leave my car until Saturday because I had business to attend to and we live in NC. We really need better timelines. But I will say this experience was 10 times better than the first. A sincere thank you too, the service department, the assigned agents in the garage and the sales people who answer general questions! They made the experience pleasant.
After several calls for a key fob a GM finally called me back. She was very helpful in getting me pricing but still paid nearly $370 when all said and done. I own a 2011 LR and only wish prices were much cheaper. $170 for an oil change seems outrages to those middle class working people who own older models. I feel like Land Rover can do better. Overall, service is great and the team was attentive. Also the new shop on VB Blvd. is clean and the revamp waiting area is gorgeous. Drop those service prices Checkered Flag LR and you will get more repeat customers!
Hands down, the best experience ive ever had at a dealership! Esteban went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and i were comfortable the whole time we were there. he showed us options that we didnt even think of while respecting of our overall budget when making recommendations! Amazing experience! The dealership compares to a 5 star hotel. It’s beautiful. Daniel, our sales representative was fantastic! I am deeply upset on how my service maintenance is going right now. Yesterday my car got towed to Land Rover Virginia Beach due to having the following faults: loss of stability control, park brake fault, hdc not available, and atpc not available. Land Rover Road Assistance operator indicated that a motherboard was a possibility and he requested a tow to Land Rover Virginia. Today (April 1), I called them at about 0800 in the morning and they told me that they were going to take a look at the car at about 1000, I called them around noon and they informed me that they had not taken a look at the car, finally I called them around 3pm and they told me that they were going to take a look at the car within 2-3 business days. They indicated that they do not have a loaner vehicle and that the most they can do is a Toyota for 20-25 dollars a day. This is completely unacceptable due to the fact that they dont know how long is going to take to fix and is going to take them 2-3 business days to even take a look at it. Right now I have no car and Im in the military. Im forced to take a rental car out of pocket for an undetermined time due to the fact that they dont know how long is going to take them to fix the car. I payed a lot of money for this car and I expect at least a timeline of when my car is going to get fixed and a better solution for providing a car while my car gets fixed. Again, Im in the military and I cant just Uber my way to work. All I ask is for a better solution to this problem and not be lied on when my car is going to get fixed.

He listened intently and took extra precautions to make sure he fully understood my concerns regarding my vehicle. He made me feel as if I was his only customer - He certainly gave VIP level service. The service department is by far the worst ever! They will give you a run for your money. No one ever returns phone calls, including service manager. You pay for a Range Rover and they sort of refuse to give you a loaner and if they do you will get a Toyota Corolla. My frustration with them was so great that I just traded in my car, so I would not have to deal with them ever again!
I loved the quickness and convenience I had with scheduling maintenance and receiving a loaner. Damian had me in and out as well as addressed every concern I had with explanation. I ran two diags on my car and I k ow exactly what’s going on with it. That’s the best feeling ever. I felt like the team there genuinely cared. Everyone was so friendly and I was able to make small talk and feel welcomed my entire duration of being there.
Dan was a great help to me and my husband. We came in super frustrated with what was going on with our Range Rover and felt like we were stuck with a vehicle that caused too many issues. Unfortunately, we purchased our Rover from another dealership that did us wrong so we thought this dealership wouldnt work with us. Dan proved us wrong. He listened to us and definitely heard what we wanted and needed. He took care of our Rover and we were able to get out of it and into a newer vehicle. Dan even went as far as retrieving the specific vehicle we wanted from a different location, he cleaned it up and set us up with everything. Range Rover Sport:Went in for a service light and state inspection. Was given a report in Red stating brakes were bad and needed immediate replacement. Questioned how I got a state inspection sticker. Service manager stated the Red was a mistake and should have been a (Yellow) recommendation. Was also told both batteries were bad in addition to three other codes that they stated showed up. All total just shy of $7,000. Took it for a second opinion. There was only one code showing, brakes and battery were fine. Total for service $350.Code analysis: They charged for an initial code check and then indicated a more expensive analysis will need to be done to determine the issue with the service light.This is my third Range Rover purchased from them and will be my last.
Can’t get anyone to call us back about our car in service, have left numerous messages with the manager and she still does not call back. Our car has been in the service for 29 days and we still don’t know what’s going on with it. Our service representative is apparently not our service representative anymore so we are having a hard time contacting anyone. We have bought over six cars from checkered flag-I have spent a lot of money on cars Porsches Jaguars and now a Land Rovers and still no phone call.
I purchased a 2020 Velar S R dynamic2 weeks ago. The salesman didn’t show us any of the features and was texting the whole time we were test driving. This happened on two test drives. I had to bring the car back two days later for the “pro pack”, wash and InControl set-up. The salesman was off that day I brought the car back so the sales manager took the car to get the services done. The salesman was supposed to have some ready to help me with this but failed to do so. I asked the sales manager if he knew that my salesman is supposed to set everything up and he’s answer is no. They gave me a three year old loaner which is not comparable to the car I purchased. I called next day to follow-up and they could not locate my car. I called five times until I got an answer. When I picked up my car, I noticed some kind of over spray and pointed it out to the manager. He took the car back and to clean it up. Ten minutes later he said it’s all done. He never bothered to check the car. I looked and the over spray was still there and when I asked him about it he said he has to order the panel. I followed up two days later and the panel was never ordered.I asked the manager that I still need the InControl he said I have to wait for the salesman to come back to work to show me. I texted the salesman and he said he was moving and I have to wait until the next day. Next day comes, texted the salesman again and he said his internet is not set-up so I have to wait. I told him I am not happy with the customer service I got and he texted me back with an attitude. He gave me the link to incontrol and set it up myself. I called the retailer’s general manager and left a massage but I never got a call back.I would say this is the worse car buying experience I ever had especially considering the caliber of the car. They are disorganized, unprofessional and it’s clear not even the general manager cares enough to follow up with a customer concern. It starts at the top.One good thing about the experience is the no haggle negotiation. The finance guy we worked with was very accommodating.***update 9/16***After this review the general manager finally called. He claimed he never got a message. Then accused us of doing “air strike” on him. I don’t even know what that means. He was aggressive and unapologetic. It starts at the top. Now we know why Danielle is rude as well.

Best service from a dealer. I had ordered a sunroof for my velar and it got cracked during delivery. My body shop got to my car after a month and they informed me about the broken windshield. Erik and Leslie were super kind and wonderful to help me get a brand new sunroof (even after a month). I mean who does that in this day and age. I wish I had more stars to give to these guys and the awesome operation they run out from Virginia beach. Erik was always top of my issue, sent me updates, tracking and I felt like a valuable customer even though i was 6000 miles away. Kudos to the team!

This dealership is awesome. I purchased a 2016 RR Sport supercharged in April. Dan Mowry-Croft was my salesman. Awesome guy, and he made it easy as possible. A month after purchasing that vehicle a lady totaled it while texting and driving, putting me right back in the market. Dan was my first phone call while still sitting at the crash site, and I advised him I’d need another vehicle much sooner than planned. Within about a week he identified, had me test drive, and sold me a 2020 Supercharged Sport. He and the Checkered Flag Land Rover dealership made a difficult situation turn out even better than things were before. HIGHLY recommend him and the folks over there for your next car. Great people and great products. Can’t beat that.

I purchased my first Land Rover last week, and I must say I was actually a little intimidated when I pulled up in my “gently used” 2009 Nissan Ultima. Thankfully sales executive Daniel Croft was on duty. Daniel was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions completely so I knew exactly what I was getting. As a long time Nissan customer, Land Rover was definitely unexplored territory for me. However Daniel made sure I was at the end of the everything educated on what I was about to purchase. There was no pressure and no question that was dumb that went unanswered ... and trust me I’m sure I asked about 2 dumb questions. Crooked Flag. Spent $799.00 on a pre-paid maintenance plan when I purchased my Land Rover Discovery. When I took the vehicle in for the scheduled 10,000 mile oil change, Checkered Flag said I didnt have a maintenance plan and charged me $477.00. Lease specifically shows the plan payment. Just received the declaration page for the maintenance plan and guess what - it covers oil changes. It took over a year to get Checkered Flag to fix the infotainment system on this vehicle. Wonder how long it will take them to refund the fraudulent charges for an oil change? This place is void of ANY customer service!!

I bought my Range Rover on Mar 23rd 2017 with the great help from Michael Wood and Tommy Suggs. I started by contacting Michael of my interests and price range. He ran some numbers, offered different financing options. Once I liked what he sent me, Michael got Tommy Suggs to get the process started. Tommy was always available by phone, email and text. I went to the dealership on the 21st of March to test drive the Rang Rover Evoque. My husband and I were sold! I contacted Tommy to say we were ready to buy! Tommy started the paperwork and buying process immediately that morning. We went to the dealership that evening and most of the paperwork was done! We closed our deal with Karla Lewis who was efficient, patient and answered all our questions with a smile. My overall experience with this team is a TEN! I have owned my Evoque for 4 days now and Tommy is right there to answer my questions about the car and even took the time to spend with me showing me all the features of the car. He decided to go the extra step ajd see what sister dealerships had in the area and boom. He found me my perfect vehicle. He had a 2017 F150 loaded transfered from another location for me. I didnt have to leave the lot. He went over, got the truck. Brought it to me and even had it cleaned, detailed and gassed up the next day for me.He treated me like family versus another sale. He never once pressured me into buying a vehicle. He asked every question I wanted him to, he got to know what kind of vehicle I truly wanted and that would make me the happiest.I usually get nervous going into a car dealership because most of the time I feel pressured to buy or at least seem interested enough to start the application for a car. Not with Daniel. He didnt ever pressure me. Make me feel like a burden. Was never rude or pushy. Even when I said I was possibly going to sleep on it. He still stood behind my choice and told me if I needed him he was here for me when I was ready to buyWhether youre shopping for a vehicle or not. This is the person to see. This folks are real pros, in every area: sales, service and parts. I was looking for a used Evoque convertible. And they did not have one in stock. But I found a convertible Evoque out of state. And they offered to still have me come by to see a similar model so I could be comfortable with the one I was buying out of state. Wow what kindness. Hunter Nolan, their sales professional, encouraged us to call him with any questions as we considering buying from another dealer. And when we took him up on that, he answered our phone calls with the promptness and thoroughness as if he was selling us the car.

I bought a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport in September 2019 for approximately $92,000.00. The sales experience was great. However, within a few months of buying the vehicle, I began experiencing issues with the Lane Keep Assistance feature and the Forward Collision Alert. The vehicle has now been in the service department four times for the same issue and each time it has been in service for about a week. I am given a loaner to use that is not at all comparable to the vehicle I purchased. The service advisor, Belen, is very nice but she does not possess the knowledge to correct the problems. The service manager, Amanda, was initially responsive, but after returning one of my phone calls, did not return my later calls to her and she has not reached out at all during this frustrating process. I would not recommend purchasing from this dealership because they cannot deliver when it comes to servicing vehicles and providing quality customer service. They will happily sell you a $90k luxury vehicle but they do not seem to have the expertise, ability or desire to provide any service after they get your money.

I recently traded in a range rover for a newer Range Rover. I had a completely enjoyable experience. Between Hunter and Terrence, they were prompt courteous and informative and responsive. Moreover, the process for purchasing a vehicle is much more simplified now and it was just a couple years ago.

Then I had two keys in the car I know this for sure I moved out of my house today and I took my range rover key just got it on Saturday my range rover put my other key in the car there’s nothing else in the car except two keys and some napkins I’d get my car serviced get ripped off get my car back there’s a key missing they can’t find it anywhere I have called the manager they still have not Responded. I am hoping they are going to supply me with a new key fob because they are very expensive I make plenty of money every week to afford my range rover and they want to rip you off I love my range rover but this dealership is always ripping people off there is nothing wrong with the ball joint on my car it was just done 5000 miles ago I have the paperwork and the documents from the dealership they are a rip off if you need any suggestions on where to take your range rover please message me or comment on this comment and I would be more than glad to save you thousands of dollars on each repair these people at our NG auto Behind Krispy Kreme on Virginia Beach Blvd. are very honest they diagnosed a problem fixed it well guess what it was the wrong fix so they did not charge me labor to fix the new part they fixed it out of their own Goodwill. Plus they thought that it was something else one time said it was going to be 600 once they got into it it wasn’t that problem it was something much more affordable like 200 they called me and said hey it’s only gonna be 200 now not 600 very honest and good people they are very busy so be prepared to wait two weeks to get an appointment but trust me it’s worth it.
I had an awesome experience at Land Rover Virginia Beach. Thomas was my salesperson. There was no haggling at all and he wasnt pushy. He has lots of knowledge which was very helpful in me making my decision. I would definitely use Thomas again for my next purchase. I am very pleased with my overall experience and purchase.
This has been a rare and wonderful car buying experience! We had been to quite a few dealers and were surprised to find the Land Rover dealership to be the most welcoming and accommodating folks. Some dealers are pretentious and hard to work with, but they are not. Tony & Mike were very helpful.

I recently brought a newly purchased 2013 LR4 to checked flag Land Rover on or about May 13, 2020. In the past 22 years I have owned upwards of 13 different Pre owned land rovers and have collectively dealt with over 12 different authorized JLR dealerships in the United States. In any event I was assigned to Mr. Huy Vo who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I was completely satisfied and appraised of everything that was going on. In fact Mr. Vo interrupted his lunch Break to go over the repair estimate in detail. I truly wish there were more service advisors like Mr. Vo. Like Mr. Vo I am also in the hospitality business and understand that ever guest is different and every guest has diverse needs and expectations. Mr. Vo exceeded my expectations and was very professional and courteous and patient throughout the process. I have personally dealt with Phillips Land Rover and The old Checkered flag location in the past. Unfortunately everyone I have grown to know dating back to 1998 is no longer with said company. At the outset I was a bit apprehensive since I didn’t initially recognize anyone at said dealership, but Mr. Vo immediately calmed my nerves and worked diligently to provide a seamless experience from the initial contact to the finish. Additionally Mr. Vo introduced me to the service technician Mr. John Phillips who was available to answer any questions and/or concerns I had inref to said vehicle. Congratulations for a job well done and thank you for your service. I highly recommend both Mr. Vo and Service technician Mr. Phillips to anyone who is considering repairs and maintenance for their range rovers and land rovers. JLR is lucky to have these two fine gentlemen onboard. I look forward to future endeavors and services at JLR. Absolute the best experience. When I walked in, immediately I felt comfortable. I was making a very large purchase and needed a more seasoned dealership as well as Salesperson. Robert Smith eased all my concerns, answered all my questions and got me into a 2017 Range Rover with the payment I wanted!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE.I took my Landrover there and spoke with a mechanic and told him and even showed him where the sound was coming from. The mechanic agreed he heard the sound and said, he knew exactly what it was. Well... A WHOLE MONTH LATER the problem is still there and they wouldnt let me have my car until I paid a bill of 519.00 for something they didnt even fix. The service manager was extremely rude and demanded that pay or I wouldnt be getting my car back.
