We intended to just go in to get my vehicle inspected for the state exam, however the car needed a replacement battery as we needed to jump it to even get it there. The team was friendly, responsive and gave us a nice itemized list of everything that was suggested. We didnt feel pressured or pushed into accepting anything we didnt want. Would definitely consult again if we needed repairs. Everything was done well and the car felt great back on the road.

I have personally done automotive repair myself for many years being in the used car business. Due to recent disability, I am no longer able to do the work. I Never thought I would find a shop out there that I could trust again to do the job right at a reasonable price. I recently took to them a truck I had just purchased that needed a significant repair. First Landing did the repair properly and the service was outstanding. The truck runs excellent! The price was more than fair for the type of repair and labor. They gave me one of the most detailed courtesy check reports that I have ever seen with many pictures of what my vehicle may need. They did not try to upsell me or take advantage of me with the repairs done. I cant believe that Ive found a place I can trust again but I have! First Landing is the only place Ill go to have my car looked at. They can usually fit me in in a timely manner. They provide pictures, cost estimates, and an explanation of what is needed BEFORE you consent to work theyve found. Their prices are reasonably balanced. Theyre not as cheap as a drive-up chain, but they also dont push additional services as a way to up the cost.

No complaints at all. Inspection results were very detailed oriented with pictures included. Additionally, I wasn’t pressured in any way to obtain service for any of the recommended services for my vehicle. I got what I needed for $16 and left fully satisfied.

Wanted to charge me so much money for something I could get done cheaper. Not the place to go if you aren’t loaded with money.

These people are awesome! I took my car in yesterday at 8am for an inspection and some overheating issues and a couple of other issues. They talked me through what they needed to do and the pricing for the inspections and some different possibilities that could be causing the problems. Within 3 hours they sent me a very detailed link that explained everything they found during inspections, complete with photos and a phone call to discuss pricing. Unfortunately, the cost to repair everything was too high and my husband and I decided we would be better off just getting a new car. They were very understanding of this and even though we decided not to get the work done they still took time out of their day to come pick me and my son up to pick up the car. Looking over the papers and quoted pricing, I feel like, although the price was too high for us, the price was fair considering how much work my car would need. A lot of places will fix a thing or two knowing you will have to bring it back in a short while to fix something else. This place lets you know EVERYTHING including what may need to be taken care of in the near future. You have to appreciate how thorough and honest that is. The negative reviews that complain about pricing I feel are people that are looking to get something for free. The people at First Landing have families to support like the rest of us and overhead and taxes to pay like all other businesses. Personally, I feel like paying for quality work from honest upfront people is better than paying about the same or less for shotty work from somewhere else. I will definitely be returning to First Landing Auto Care and I would recommend them based on my own personal experience.

Just recently discovered this hidden gem. The customer service is outstanding! They are busy but the couple times my boyfriend and I have been here, theyve been polite and took their time talking to us making sure we understood everything. They arent rude like Bayside Auto up the street. They made recommendations for other service but they didnt try to push it on us like car salesmen. We really enjoyed our experiences here and will definitely be using this place in the future!

I am very happy that I called the First Landing Auto Care at Thoroughgood for my car state inspection. It is my first time to bring my car here. I have hard time to find a shop to schedule my car for state inspection or the waiting time is horrible. I like the way they took a picture of the parts of your car for the state inspection. Their location is very convenient too. If you want to go to post office is just right across the street. If you want to go 7 eleven or Rite Aid is just a walking distance.

I called in for a last minute inspection. I was able to get an appointment with no problem. Upon getting there I found everything to be great! I was told that they were running a little behind on inspections but it wouldnt be long. It really wasnt, I was in and out in under 45 minutes! They brought my car around and had the air conditioner going already which was great on that sweltering day but the little goody bag left on the seat made my sons day.I recommend their services to anyone!

First I am military, so I am relatively new to the area. I do not know much about cars, but I am big on preventive care. However, since moving here, the auto repair shops in the VB area has scared me. I know everyone is trying to make a living, but I found found it unfair as to how some repair shops have ripped off innocent people of their hard earned money. However, I think this company is the real deal. I found them on Yelp.I called them, and was able to be seen right away. They even offer at a charge to tow your car from your place to theirs. When you walk in, they have magazines, coffee, and snacks to munch on while you wait to find out what is wrong with you car. I was too nervous to try anything. If it is something doable within a certain time frame, they let you know. They were nice enough to give me a ride back home (I live 7 minutes away) since my car need some extra TLC so i am not waiting. I have yet to get the full picture of the car issue, but I have a good feeling about this place. Hopefully, I have found my auto shop because I am tired of the running around. My body and wallet is exhausted.

I have anxiety about anything car related since its both expensive and as a female, easily to be taken advantage of. I looked at the reviews on this place before deciding on somewhere to take my car for inspection and knew it had to be First Landing. I was impressed by the rating which is rare to find in the automotive world. I came in on the last day of the month which is always crazy for inspections, no appointment, and no time or way to leave the car. They were able to squeeze me in which I really appreciate since Im sure they didnt have much time. Unfortunately for me, my car failed inspection with a hefty legitimate repair. My motor mounts have been cracked for several years, so I know this to be true. So while my experience here was great, that bit of news was sorely taken. If I can find the money for the repair, I would likely go back to them to perform the work, regardless of others pricing, just due to the experience. They had a clean waiting area with a couple kids cars to play with, coffee, granola bars, and a TV. Impressed, just bummed I have to find a way to pay for this repair. Would love to see a coupon!

I was at first landing two weeks ago and these gentleman were so helpful and patient with me as I was having an emotional break down. I had an appointment (made the week prior) to have my oil changed at 1:30pm on a Wednesday. I dropped the car off and walked home with my three small children. As I got the kids in the stroller to walk them back at 4:15pm to pick up the car, I called to confirm that my car was ready. But they had not even looked at it. They said they would call before they closed at 5pm to let me know if it was done or not. No one called. I called when they opened the next day and had to come with my kids at 8:30am to pick it up, cancel an appointment, and mess up my babys sleep schedule to get my car back. No one even apologized.They have a neat feature that posts pictures of service issues to a link following your service...but mine includes pictures of dirty air filters that need to be replaced. If my car had been evaluated in a timely manner, they could have recommended the replacement and it would have been done same day. Now I need to take my car back into another shop to have the filters replaced. What an inconvenience! I will not be returning here.Update: This shop replaced our air filters for free with no wait time as an apology for our bad experience. With so many glowing reviews, its easy to believe that my negative experience was a fluke. So Ill return and give it another try.

After a state inspection elsewhere, we were told our car needed new brakes. We brought it to First Landing to find out we actually have over 1/2 of the life left, and they provided a report with pictures to show us. After this comprehensive check we were told we have a properly functioning and safe vehicle. Comforting to find a service company provider with integrity, and theyve now won all our car maintenance and repair business.

Im guilty of thinking I know more about my truck than a mechanic that has gone to school specifically to do the job from time to time and I have been burned in the past by shade tree fellas. What I am trying to say is that Ive been hurt before. Im slow to trust. Its not you, its me.First Landing Auto Care not only did a phenomenal job fixing my brakes, but the packet they put together on the other issues they found complete with color pictures of the items was amazing. No pushiness. Just a hey, might want to look at this in the next six months.I will be looking at these things in the next six months. And I know exactly who I will be bringing my truck to when I do.

They WILL overcharge you. They thought I was a fool. There is absolutely no reason somebody should be paying almost $700 to have there cars inner tie-rods replaced. Also they charged me $74 for an oil change and $25 in labor for a tire rotation. What a joke. ZERO STARS

My husbands 2005 Ford Ranger quit on the road. We went to First Landing Auto Care and then had it towed there They gave us an extremely thorough depiction of what was wrong with the truck and gave us the option of what HAD to be fixed and what COULD be fixed later. They were very honest and ethical and service -oriented. They got the work done that we requested in a timely manner. Later in the day I had to talk to them about my Granddaughters car that was in an accident. They, once again, were honest about the fact that it would take far too much money to repair and came and towed the car away and paid her for parts they could use. We found their service and their ethics to be exceptional!

Great experience! I needed new brakes, calipers, rotors and shocks. They took care of all my repairs within the time promised. They also checked out my entire car and presented me with a report that showed me what to expect in the future regarding repairs. I thought maybe at first they were going to push me to spend extra money instead they reviewed the entire report with me and pointed out things that I will need to be prepared for down the road. I made an appointment to have the oil changed on my mothers 2002 Toyota Prius which has always been serviced by the dealer.
